اور آپ اگرچہ اہل کتاب کو تمام دلیلیں دے دیں لیکن وہ آپ کے قبلے کی پیروی نہیں کریں گے اور نہ آپ ان کے قبلے کو ماننے والے ہیں اور نہ یہ آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے قبلے کو ماننے والے ہیں اور اگر آپ باوجود یہ کہ آپ کے پاس علم آچکا پھر بھی ان کی خواہشوں کے پیچھے لگ جائیں تو بالیقین آپ بھی ظالموں میں سے ہوجائیں گے ۔

And if you brought to those who were given the Scripture every sign, they would not follow your qiblah. Nor will you be a follower of their qiblah. Nor would they be followers of one another's qiblah. So if you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, indeed, you would then be among the wrongdoers.

تُو اللہ تعالٰی کی راہ میں جہاد کرتا رہ تجھے صرف تیری ذات کی نسبت حکم دیا جاتا ہے ہاں ایمان والوں کو رغبت دلاتا رہ بہت ممکن ہے کہ اللہ تعالٰی کافروں کی جنگ کو روک دے اور اللہ تعالٰی سخت قوّت والا ہے اور سزا دینے میں بھی سخت ہے ۔

So fight, [O Muhammad], in the cause of Allah ; you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers [to join you] that perhaps Allah will restrain the [military] might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in [exemplary] punishment.

اے رسول جو کچھ بھی آپ کی طرف آپ کے رب کی جانب سے نازل کیا گیا ہے پہنچا دیجئے ۔ اگر آپ نے ایسا نہ کیا تو آپ نے اللہ کی رسالت ادا نہیں کی اور آپ کو اللہ تعالٰی لوگوں سے بچا لے گا بے شک اللہ تعالٰی کافر لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا ۔

O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.

آپ کہئے کہ کیا اللہ کے سوا ، جو کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے جو کہ کھانے کو دیتا ہے اور اس کو کوئی کھانے نہیں دیتا اور کسی کو معبود قرار دوں آپ فرما دیجئے کہ مجھ کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے میں اسلام قبول کروں اور تو مشرکین میں سے ہرگز نہ ہونا ۔

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah ] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' "

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میں اگر اپنے رب کا کہنا نہ مانوں تو میں ایک بڑے دن کے عذاب سے ڈرتا ہوں

Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."

اور اے شخص! اپنے رب کی یاد کیا کر اپنے دل میں عاجزی کے ساتھ اور خوف کے ساتھ اور زور کی آواز کی نسبت کم آوازکے ساتھ صبح اور شام اور اہل غفلت میں سے مت ہونا ۔

And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear without being apparent in speech - in the mornings and the evenings. And do not be among the heedless.

پیغمبر کو اور دوسرے مسلمانوں کو جائز نہیں کہ مشرکین کے لئے مغفرت کی دعا مانگیں اگرچہ وہ رشتہ دار ہی ہوں اس امر کے ظاہر ہو جانے کے بعد کہ یہ لوگ دوزخی ہیں

It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire.

پھر اگر آپ اس کی طرف سے شک میں ہوں جس کو ہم نے آپ کے پاس بھیجا ہے تو آپ ان لوگوں سے پوچھ دیکھئے جو آپ سے پہلی کتابوں کو پڑھتے ہیں ، بیشک آپ کے پاس آپ کے رب کی طرف سے سچی کتاب آئی ہے ۔ آپ ہرگز شک کرنے والوں میں سے نہ ہوں ۔

So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.

اور نہ ان لوگوں میں سے ہوں جنہوں نے اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں کو جھٹلایا کہیں آپ خسارہ پانے والوں میں سے نہ ہوجائیں ۔

And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اے لوگو! اگر تم میرے دین کی طرف سے شک میں ہو تو میں ان معبودوں کی عبادت نہیں کرتا جن کی تم اللہ کو چھوڑ کر عبادت کرتے ہو لیکن ہاں اس اللہ کی عبادت کرتا ہوں جو تمہاری جان قبض کرتا ہے اور مجھ کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ میں ایمان لانے والوں میں سے ہوں ۔

Say, [O Muhammad], "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion - then I do not worship those which you worship besides Allah ; but I worship Allah , who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believers

اور آپ اس کی اتباع کرتے رہیے جو کچھ آپ کے پاس وحی بھیجی جاتی ہے اور صبر کیجئے یہاں تک کہ اللہ فیصلہ کر دے اور وہ سب فیصلہ کرنے والوں میں اچھا ہے ۔

And follow what is revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges.

پس آپ جمے رہیئے جیسا کہ آپ کو حکم دیا گیا ہے اور وہ لوگ بھی جو آپ کے ساتھ توبہ کر چکے ہیں ، خبردار تم حد سے نہ بڑھنا ، اللہ تمہارے تمام اعمال کا دیکھنے والا ہے ۔

So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah ], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.

آپ صبر کرتے رہیئے یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی نیکی کرنے والوں کا اجر ضائع نہیں کرتا ۔

And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.

زمینوں اور آسمانوں کا علم غیب اللہ تعالٰی ہی کو ہے تمام معاملات کا رجوع بھی اسی کی جانب ہے ، پس تجھے اسی کی عبادت کرنی چاہیے اور اسی پر بھروسہ رکھنا چاہیے اور تم جو کچھ کرتے ہو اس سے اللہ تعالٰی بے خبر نہیں ۔

And to Allah belong the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth and to Him will be returned the matter, all of it, so worship Him and rely upon Him. And your Lord is not unaware of that which you do.

اگر ہم آپ کو ثابت قدم نہ رکھتے تو بہت ممکن تھا کہ ان کی طرف قدرے قلیل مائل ہو ہی جاتے ۔

And if We had not strengthened you, you would have almost inclined to them a little.

پھر تو ہم بھی آپ کو دوہرا عذاب دنیا کا کرتے اور دوہرا ہی موت کا پھر آپ تو اپنے لئے ہمارے مقابلے میں کسی کو مددگار بھی نہ پاتے ۔

Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper.

نماز کو قائم کریں آفتاب کے ڈھلنے سے لے کر رات کی تاریکی تک اور فجر کا قرآن پڑھنا بھی یقیناً فجر کے وقت کا قرآن پڑھنا حاضر کیا گیا ہے ۔

Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed.

رات کے کچھ حصے میں تہجد کی نماز میں قرآن کی تلاوت کریں یہ زیادتی آپ کے لئے ہے عنقریب آپ کا رب آپ کو مقام محمود میں کھڑا کرے گا ۔

And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station.

آسمانوں کا ، زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے سب کا رب وہی ہے تو اسی کی بندگی کر اور اس کی عبادت پر جم جا ۔ کیا تیرے علم میں اس کا ہم نام ہم پلہ کوئی اور بھی ہے؟

Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?"

پس ان کی باتوں پر صبر کر اور اپنے پروردگار کی تسبیح اور تعریف بیان کرتا رہ ، سورج نکلنے سے پہلے اور اس کے ڈوبنے سے پہلے ، رات کے مختلف وقتوں میں بھی اور دن کے حصوں میں بھی تسبیح کرتا رہ بہت ممکن ہے کہ تو راضی ہو جائے ۔

So be patient over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied.

اپنے گھرانے کے لوگوں پر نماز کی تاکید رکھ اور خود بھی اس پر جما رہ ، ہم تجھ سے روزی نہیں مانگتے بلکہ ہم خود تجھے روزی دیتے ہیں آخر میں بول بالا پرہیزگاری ہی کا ہے ۔

And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.

پس تو اللہ کے ساتھ کسی اور معبود کو نہ پکار کہ تو بھی سزا پانے والوں میں سے ہو جائے ۔

So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished.

اس کے ساتھ فروتنی سے پیش آ ، جو بھی ایمان لانے والا ہو کر تیری تابعداری کرے ۔

And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers.

اپنا پورا بھروسہ غالب مہربان اللہ پر رکھ ۔

And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,

جو کتاب آپ کی طرف وحی کی گئی ہے اسے پڑھئے اور نماز قائم کریں یقیناً نماز بے حیائی اور برائی سے روکتی ہے بیشک اللہ کا ذکر بہت بڑی چیز ہے تم جو کچھ کر رہے ہو اس سے اللہ خبردار ہے ۔

Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.

پس آپ اپنا رخ اس سچے اور سیدھے دین کی طرف ہی رکھیں قبل اس کے کہ وہ دن آجائے جس کا ٹل جانا اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف سے ہے ہی نہیں اس دن سب متفرق ہوجائیں گے ۔

So direct your face toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided.

اے نبی! اپنی بیویوں سے کہہ دو کہ اگر تم زندگانی دنیا اور زینت دنیا چاہتی ہو تو آؤ میں تمہیں کچھ دے دلا دوں اور تمہیں اچھائی کے ساتھ رخصت کر دوں ۔

O Prophet, say to your wives, "If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and give you a gracious release.

اور اگر تمہاری مراد اللہ اور اس کا رسول اور آخرت کا گھر ہے تو ( یقین مانو کہ ) تم میں سے نیک کام کرنے والیوں کے لئے اللہ تعالٰی نے بہت زبردست اجر رکھ چھوڑے ہیں ۔

But if you should desire Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter - then indeed, Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a great reward."

اے نبی کی بیویو! تم میں سے جو بھی کھلی بے حیائی ( کا ارتکاب ) کرے گی اسے دوہرا دوہرا عذاب دیا جائے گا اور اللہ تعالٰی کے نزدیک یہ بہت ہی سہل ( سی بات ) ہے ۔

O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a clear immorality - for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever is that, for Allah , easy.

اور تم میں سے جو کوئی اللہ کی اور اس کے رسول کی فرماں برداری کرے گی اور نیک کام کرے گی ہم اسے اجر ( بھی ) دوہرا دیں گے اور اس کے لئے ہم نے بہترین روزی تیار کر رکھی ہے ۔

And whoever of you devoutly obeys Allah and His Messenger and does righteousness - We will give her her reward twice; and We have prepared for her a noble provision.
