الفاظ ( وَلَآ )

کافروں کوان کے مال اور ان کی اولاد اللہ تعالٰی ( کے عذاب ) سے چُھڑانے میں کچھ کام نہ آئیں گی ، یہ تو جہنم کا ایندھن ہی ہیں ۔

Indeed, those who disbelieve - never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. And it is they who are fuel for the Fire.

کافروں کو ان کے مال اور ان کی اولاد اللہ کے ہاں کچھ کام نہ آئیں گی ، یہ جہنّمی ہیں جو ہمیشہ اسی میں پڑے رہیں گے ۔

Indeed, those who disbelieve - never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

حقیقت حال نہ تو تمہاری آرزو کے مطابق ہے اور نہ اہل کتاب کی امیدوں پر موقوف ہے ، جو برا کرے گا اس کی سزا پائے گا اور کسی کو نہ پائے گا جو اس کی حمایت و مدد ، اللہ کے پاس کر سکے ۔

Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper.

وہ درمیان میں ہی معلق ڈگمگا رہے ہیں نہ پورے ان کی طرف نہ صحیح طور پر اُن کی طرف اور جسے اللہ تعالٰی گمراہی میں ڈال دے تُو اس کے لئے کوئی راہ نہ پائے گا ۔

Wavering between them, [belonging] neither to the believers nor to the disbelievers. And whoever Allah leaves astray - never will you find for him a way.

اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالٰی کے شعائر کی بے حرمتی نہ کرو نہ ادب والے مہینوں کی نہ حرم میں قربان ہونے والے اور پٹے پہنائے گئے جانوروں کی جو کعبہ کو جا رہے ہوں اور نہ ان لوگوں کی جو بیت اللہ کے قصد سے اپنے رب تعالٰی کے فضل اور اس کی رضا جوئی کی نیت سے جا رہے ہوں ہاں جب تم احرام اتار ڈالو تو شکار کھیل سکتے ہو جن لوگوں نے تمہیں مسجد حرام سے روکا تھا ان کی دشمنی تمہیں اس بات پر امادہ نہ کرے کہ تم حد سے گزر جاؤ نیکی اور پرہیزگاری میں ایک دوسرے کی امداد کرتے رہو اور گناہ اورظلم زیادتی میں مدد نہ کرو اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی سخت سزا دینے والا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, do not violate the rites of Allah or [the sanctity of] the sacred month or [neglect the marking of] the sacrificial animals and garlanding [them] or [violate the safety of] those coming to the Sacred House seeking bounty from their Lord and [His] approval. But when you come out of ihram, then [you may] hunt. And do not let the hatred of a people for having obstructed you from al-Masjid al-Haram lead you to transgress. And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.

اور وہ وقت بھی قابل ذکر ہے جب کہ اللہ تعالٰی فرمائے گا اے عیسیٰ بن مریم! کیا تم نے ان لوگوں سے کہہ دیا تھا کہ مجھ کو اور میری ماں کو بھی علاوہ اللہ کے معبود قرار دے لو! عیسیٰ عرض کریں گے کہ میں تو تجھ کو منزہ سمجھتا ہوں ، مجھ کو کسی طرح زیبا نہ تھا کہ میں ایسی بات کہتا جس کو کہنے کا مجھ کو کوئی حق نہیں ، اگر میں نے کہا ہوگا تو تجھ کو اس کا علم ہوگا ، تو تو میرے دل کے اندر کی بات بھی جانتا ہے اور میں تیرے نفس میں جو کچھ ہے اس کو نہیں جانتا ۔ تمام غیبوں کا جاننے والا تو ہی ہے ۔

And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ نہ تو میں تم سے یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میرے پاس اللہ کے خزانے ہیں اور نہ میں غیب جانتا ہوں اور نہ میں تم سے یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں فرشتہ ہوں ۔ میں تو صرف جو کچھ میرے پاس ہے وحی آتی ہے اس کا اتباع کرتا ہوں آپ کہئے کہ اندھا اور بینا کہیں برابر ہو سکتا ہے سو کیا تم غور نہیں کرتے؟

Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not tell you that I have the depositories [containing the provision] of Allah or that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me." Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Then will you not give thought?"

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ نہ تو میں تم سے یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میرے پاس اللہ کے خزانے ہیں اور نہ میں غیب جانتا ہوں اور نہ میں تم سے یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں فرشتہ ہوں ۔ میں تو صرف جو کچھ میرے پاس ہے وحی آتی ہے اس کا اتباع کرتا ہوں آپ کہئے کہ اندھا اور بینا کہیں برابر ہو سکتا ہے سو کیا تم غور نہیں کرتے؟

Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not tell you that I have the depositories [containing the provision] of Allah or that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me." Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Then will you not give thought?"

اور ان سے ان کی قوم نے حجت کرنا شروع کیا آپ نے فرمایا کیا تم اللہ کے معاملے میں مجھ سے حجت کرتے ہو حالانکہ اس نے مجھے طریقہ بتلا دیا ہے اور میں ان چیزوں سے جن کو تم اللہ تعالٰی کے ساتھ شریک بناتے ہو نہیں ڈرتا ہاں اگر میرا پروردگار ہی کوئی امر چاہے میرا پروردگار ہرچیز کو اپنے علم میں گھیرے ہوئے ہے ، کیا تم پھر بھی خیال نہیں کرتے ۔

And his people argued with him. He said, "Do you argue with me concerning Allah while He has guided me? And I fear not what you associate with Him [and will not be harmed] unless my Lord should will something. My Lord encompasses all things in knowledge; then will you not remember?

اور ان لوگوں نے اللہ کی جیسی قدر کرنا واجب تھی ویسی قدر نہ کی جب کہ یوں کہہ دیا کہ اللہ نے کسی بشر پر کوئی چیز نازل نہیں کی آپ یہ کہئے کہ وہ کتاب کس نے نازل کی ہے جس کو موسیٰ لائے تھے جس کی کیفیت یہ ہے کہ وہ نور ہے اور لوگوں کے لئے وہ ہدایت ہے جس کو تم نے ان متفرق اوراق میں رکھ چھوڑا ہے جن کو ظاہر کرتے ہو اور بہت سی باتوں کو چھپاتے ہو اور تم کو بہت سی ایسی باتیں بتائی گئی ہیں جن کو تم نہ جانتے تھے اور نہ تمہارے بڑے ۔ ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اللہ نے نازل فرمایا ہے پھر ان کو ان کے خرافات میں کھیلتے رہنے دیجئے ۔

And they did not appraise Allah with true appraisal when they said, " Allah did not reveal to a human being anything." Say, "Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you were taught that which you knew not - neither you nor your fathers." Say, " Allah [revealed it]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves.

یہ مشرکین ( یوں ) کہیں گے کہ اگر اللہ تعالٰی کو منظور ہوتا تو نہ ہم شرک کرتے اور نہ ہمارے باپ دادا اور نہ ہم کسی چیز کو حرام کہہ سکتے اس طرح جو لوگ ان سے پہلے ہو چکے ہیں انہوں نے بھی تکذیب کی تھی یہاں تک کہ کہ انہوں نے ہمارے عذاب کا مزہ چکھا آپ کہیے کیا کہ تمہارے پاس کوئی دلیل ہے تو اس کو ہمارے روبرو ظاہر کرو تم لوگ محض خیالی باتوں پر چلتے ہو اور تم بالکل اٹکل سے باتیں بناتے ہو ۔

Those who associated with Allah will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have associated [anything] and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything." Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. Say, "Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? You follow not except assumption, and you are not but falsifying."

کیا یہ وہی ہیں جن کی نسبت تم قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہا کرتے تھے کہ اللہ تعالٰی ان پر رحمت نہ کرے گا ان کو یوں حکم ہوگا کہ جاؤ جنت میں تم پر نہ کچھ خوف ہے اور نہ تم مغموم ہو گے ۔

[ Allah will say], "Are these the ones whom you [inhabitants of Hell] swore that Allah would never offer them mercy? Enter Paradise, [O People of the Elevations]. No fear will there be concerning you, nor will you grieve."

اور تم جن لوگوں کی اللہ کو چھوڑ کر عبادت کرتے ہو وہ تمہاری کچھ مدد نہیں کرسکتے اور نہ وہ اپنی مدد کرسکتے ۔

And those you call upon besides Him are unable to help you, nor can they help themselves."

پس آپ کو ان کے مال و اولاد تعجب میں نہ ڈال دیں اللہ کی چاہت یہی ہے کہ اس سے انہیں دنیا کی زندگی میں ہی سزا دے اور ان کے کفر ہی کی حالت میں ان کی جانیں نکل جائیں ۔

So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.

آپ یوں کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر اللہ کو منظور ہوتا تو نہ تو میں تم کو وہ پڑھ کر سناتا اور نہ اللہ تعالٰی تم کو اس کی اطلاع دیتا کیونکہ میں اس سے پہلے تو ایک بڑے حصہ عمر تک تم میں رہ چکا ہوں ۔ پھر کیا تم عقل نہیں رکھتے ۔

Say, "If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it. Then will you not reason?"

اور آپ کسی حال میں ہوں اور منجملہ ان احوال کے آپ کہیں سے قرآن پڑھتے ہوں اور جو کام بھی کرتے ہوں ہم کو سب کی خبر رہتی ہے جب تم اس کام میں مشغول ہوتے ہو اور آپ کے رب سے کوئی چیز ذرہ برابر بھی غائب نہیں نہ زمین میں اور نہ آسمان میں اور نہ کوئی چیز اس سے چھوٹی اور نہ کوئی چیز بڑی مگر یہ سب کتاب مبین میں ہے ۔

And, [O Muhammad], you are not [engaged] in any matter or recite any of the Qur'an and you [people] do not do any deed except that We are witness over you when you are involved in it. And not absent from your Lord is any [part] of an atom's weight within the earth or within the heaven or [anything] smaller than that or greater but that it is in a clear register.

اور آپ کسی حال میں ہوں اور منجملہ ان احوال کے آپ کہیں سے قرآن پڑھتے ہوں اور جو کام بھی کرتے ہوں ہم کو سب کی خبر رہتی ہے جب تم اس کام میں مشغول ہوتے ہو اور آپ کے رب سے کوئی چیز ذرہ برابر بھی غائب نہیں نہ زمین میں اور نہ آسمان میں اور نہ کوئی چیز اس سے چھوٹی اور نہ کوئی چیز بڑی مگر یہ سب کتاب مبین میں ہے ۔

میں تم سے نہیں کہتا کہ میرے پاس اللہ کے خزانے ہیں ۔ ( سنو! ) میں غیب کا علم بھی نہیں رکھتا نہ میں یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں کوئی فرشتہ ہوں نہ میرا یہ قول ہے کہ جن پر تمہاری نگاہیں ذلت سے پڑ رہی ہیں انہیں اللہ تعالٰی کوئی نعمت دے گا ہی نہیں ان کے دل میں جو ہے اسے اللہ ہی خوب جانتا ہے اگر میں ایسی بات کہوں تو یقیناً میرا شمار ظالموں میں ہو جائے گا ۔

And I do not tell you that I have the depositories [containing the provision] of Allah or that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel, nor do I say of those upon whom your eyes look down that Allah will never grant them any good. Allah is most knowing of what is within their souls. Indeed, I would then be among the wrongdoers."

میں تم سے نہیں کہتا کہ میرے پاس اللہ کے خزانے ہیں ۔ ( سنو! ) میں غیب کا علم بھی نہیں رکھتا نہ میں یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں کوئی فرشتہ ہوں نہ میرا یہ قول ہے کہ جن پر تمہاری نگاہیں ذلت سے پڑ رہی ہیں انہیں اللہ تعالٰی کوئی نعمت دے گا ہی نہیں ان کے دل میں جو ہے اسے اللہ ہی خوب جانتا ہے اگر میں ایسی بات کہوں تو یقیناً میرا شمار ظالموں میں ہو جائے گا ۔

جنہیں ہم نے کتاب دی ہے وہ تو جو کچھ آپ پر اتارا جاتا ہے اس سے خوش ہوتے ہیں اور دوسرے فرقے اس کی بعض باتوں کے منکر ہیں ۔ آپ اعلان کر دیجئے کہ مجھے تو صرف یہی حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں اللہ کی عبادت کروں اور اس کے ساتھ شریک نہ کروں ، میں اسی کی طرف بلا رہا ہوں اور اسی کی جانب میرا لوٹنا ہے ۔

And [the believers among] those to whom We have given the [previous] Scripture rejoice at what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], but among the [opposing] factions are those who deny part of it. Say, "I have only been commanded to worship Allah and not associate [anything] with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is my return."

مشرک لوگوں نے کہا اگر اللہ تعالٰی چاہتا تو ہم اور ہمارے باپ دادے اس کے سوا کسی اور کی عبادت ہی نہ کرتے ، نہ اس کے فرمان کے بغیر کسی چیز کو حرام کرتے ۔ یہی فعل ان سے پہلے کے لوگوں کا رہا ۔ تو رسولوں پر تو صرف کھلم کھلا پیغام پہنچا دینا ہے ۔

And those who associate others with Allah say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him." Thus did those do before them. So is there upon the messengers except [the duty of] clear notification?

لیکن میں تو عقیدہ رکھتا ہوں کہ وہی اللہ میرا پروردگار ہے میں اپنے رب کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کروں گا ۔

But as for me, He is Allah , my Lord, and I do not associate with my Lord anyone.

اچھا ہم بھی تیرے مقابلے میں اسی جیسا جادو ضرور لائیں گے ، پس تو ہمارے اور اپنے درمیان ایک وعدے کا وقت مقرر کر لے کہ نہ ہم اس کا خلاف کریں اور نہ تو ، صاف میدان میں مقابلہ ہو ۔

Then we will surely bring you magic like it, so make between us and you an appointment, which we will not fail to keep and neither will you, in a place assigned."

اس کے بعد اور عورتیں آپ کے لئے حلال نہیں اور نہ یہ ( درست ہے ) کہ ان کے بدلے اور عورتوں سے ( نکاح کرے ) اگرچہ ان کی صورت اچھی بھی لگتی ہو مگر جو تیری مملوکہ ہوں اور اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز کا ( پورا ) نگہبان ہے ۔

Not lawful to you, [O Muhammad], are [any additional] women after [this], nor [is it] for you to exchange them for [other] wives, even if their beauty were to please you, except what your right hand possesses. And ever is Allah , over all things, an Observer.

اے ایمان والو! جب تک تمہیں اجازت نہ دی جائے تم نبی کے گھروں میں نہ جایا کرو کھانے کے لئے ایسے وقت میں اس کے پکنے کا انتظار کرتے رہو بلکہ جب بلایا جائے جاؤ اور جب کھا چکو نکل کھڑے ہو ، وہیں باتوں میں مشغول نہ ہو جایا کرو ، نبی کو تمہاری اس بات سے تکلیف ہوتی ہے ، تو وہ لحاظ کر جاتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی ( بیان ) حق میں کسی کا لحاظ نہیں کرتا جب تم نبی کی بیویوں سے کوئی چیز طلب کرو تو تم پردے کے پیچھے سے طلب کرو تمہارے اور ان کے دلوں کیلئے کامل پاکیزگی یہی ہے نہ تمہیں یہ جائز ہے کہ تم رسول اللہ کو تکلیف دو اور نہ تمہیں یہ حلال ہے کہ آپ کے بعد کسی وقت بھی آپ کی بیویوں سے نکاح کرو ۔ ( یاد رکھو ) اللہ کے نزدیک یہ بہت بڑا ( گناہ ) ہے ۔

O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity.

ان عورتوں پر کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ وہ اپنے باپوں اور اپنے بیٹوں اور بھائیوں اور بھتیجوں اور بھانجوں اور اپنی ( میل جول کی ) عورتوں اور ملکیت کے ماتحتوں ( لونڈی غلام ) کے سامنے ہوں ( عورتو! ) اللہ سے ڈرتی رہو ۔ اللہ تعالٰی یقیناً ہرچیز پر شاہد ہے ۔

There is no blame upon women concerning their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons or their women or those their right hands possess. And fear Allah . Indeed Allah is ever, over all things, Witness.

ان عورتوں پر کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ وہ اپنے باپوں اور اپنے بیٹوں اور بھائیوں اور بھتیجوں اور بھانجوں اور اپنی ( میل جول کی ) عورتوں اور ملکیت کے ماتحتوں ( لونڈی غلام ) کے سامنے ہوں ( عورتو! ) اللہ سے ڈرتی رہو ۔ اللہ تعالٰی یقیناً ہرچیز پر شاہد ہے ۔

کفار کہتے ہیں کہ ہم پر قیامت نہیں آئے گی ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے! مجھے میرے رب کی قسم! جو عالم الغیب ہے وہ یقیناً تم پر آئے گی اللہ تعالٰی سے ایک ذرے کے برابر کی چیز بھی پوشیدہ نہیں نہ آسمانوں میں اور نہ زمین میں بلکہ اس سے بھی چھوٹی اور بڑی ہرچیز کھلی کتاب میں موجود ہے ۔

But those who disbelieve say, "The Hour will not come to us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [ Allah is] the Knower of the unseen." Not absent from Him is an atom's weight within the heavens or within the earth or [what is] smaller than that or greater, except that it is in a clear register -

کفار کہتے ہیں کہ ہم پر قیامت نہیں آئے گی ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے! مجھے میرے رب کی قسم! جو عالم الغیب ہے وہ یقیناً تم پر آئے گی اللہ تعالٰی سے ایک ذرے کے برابر کی چیز بھی پوشیدہ نہیں نہ آسمانوں میں اور نہ زمین میں بلکہ اس سے بھی چھوٹی اور بڑی ہرچیز کھلی کتاب میں موجود ہے ۔

But those who disbelieve say, "The Hour will not come to us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [ Allah is] the Knower of the unseen." Not absent from Him is an atom's weight within the heavens or within the earth or [what is] smaller than that or greater, except that it is in a clear register -

اور تمہارا مال اور اولاد ایسے نہیں کہ تمہیں ہمارے پاس ( مرتبوں ) سے قریب کر دیں ہاں جو ایمان لائیں اور نیک عمل کریں ان کے لئے ان کے اعمال کا دوہرا اجر ہے اور وہ نڈر و بے خوف ہو کر بالا خانوں میں رہیں گے ۔

And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].

اور تم ( اپنی بد اعمالیاں ) اس وجہ سے پوشیدہ رکھتے ہی نہ تھے کہ تم پر تمہارے کان اور تمہاری آنکھیں اور تمہاری کھالیں گواہی دیں گی ہاں تم یہ سمجھتے رہے کہ تم جو کچھ بھی کر رہے ہو اس میں سے بہت سے اعمال سے اللہ بے خبر ہے ۔

And you were not covering yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do.

میرے بندو! آج تم پر کوئی خوف ( و ہراس ) ہے اور نہ تم ( بد دل اور ) غمزدہ ہوگے ۔

[To whom Allah will say], "O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve,

اور بالیقین ہم نے ( قوم عاد ) کو وہ مقدور دیئے تھے جو تمہیں تو دیئے بھی نہیں اور ہم نے انہیں کان آنکھیں اور دل بھی دے رکھے تھے ۔ لیکن ان کے کانوں اور آنکھوں اور دلوں نے انہیں کچھ بھی نفع نہ پہنچایا جبکہ وہ اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں کا انکار کرنے لگے اور جس چیز کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھے وہی ان پر الٹ پڑی ۔

And We had certainly established them in such as We have not established you, and We made for them hearing and vision and hearts. But their hearing and vision and hearts availed them not from anything [of the punishment] when they were [continually] rejecting the signs of Allah ; and they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

اور بالیقین ہم نے ( قوم عاد ) کو وہ مقدور دیئے تھے جو تمہیں تو دیئے بھی نہیں اور ہم نے انہیں کان آنکھیں اور دل بھی دے رکھے تھے ۔ لیکن ان کے کانوں اور آنکھوں اور دلوں نے انہیں کچھ بھی نفع نہ پہنچایا جبکہ وہ اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں کا انکار کرنے لگے اور جس چیز کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھے وہی ان پر الٹ پڑی ۔

کیا تو نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ آسمانوں کی اور زمین کی ہرچیز سے واقف ہے ۔ تین آدمیوں کی سرگوشی نہیں ہوتی مگر اللہ ان کا چوتھا ہوتا ہے اور نہ پانچ کی مگر ان کا چھٹا وہ ہوتا ہے اور نہ اس سے کم کی اور نہ زیادہ کی مگر وہ ساتھ ہی ہوتا ہے جہاں بھی وہ ہوں پھر قیامت کے دن انہیں ان کہ اعمال سے آگاہ کرے گا بیشک اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز سے واقف ہے ۔

Have you not considered that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth? There is in no private conversation three but that He is the fourth of them, nor are there five but that He is the sixth of them - and no less than that and no more except that He is with them [in knowledge] wherever they are. Then He will inform them of what they did, on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing.

کیا تو نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ آسمانوں کی اور زمین کی ہرچیز سے واقف ہے ۔ تین آدمیوں کی سرگوشی نہیں ہوتی مگر اللہ ان کا چوتھا ہوتا ہے اور نہ پانچ کی مگر ان کا چھٹا وہ ہوتا ہے اور نہ اس سے کم کی اور نہ زیادہ کی مگر وہ ساتھ ہی ہوتا ہے جہاں بھی وہ ہوں پھر قیامت کے دن انہیں ان کہ اعمال سے آگاہ کرے گا بیشک اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز سے واقف ہے ۔

ان کے مال اور ان کی اولاد اللہ کے ہاں کچھ کام نہ ّآئیں گی ۔ یہ تو جہنمی ہیں ہمیشہ ہی اس میں رہیں گے ۔

Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally

تمہاری قرابتیں ، رشتہ داریاں اور اولاد تمہیں قیامت کے دن کام نہ آئیں گی اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے درمیان فیصلہ کر دے گا اور جو کچھ تم کر رہے ہو اسے اللہ خوب دیکھ رہا ہے ۔

Never will your relatives or your children benefit you; the Day of Resurrection He will judge between you. And Allah , of what you do, is Seeing.

اے مسلمانو! تمہارے مال اور تمہاری اولاد تمہیں اللہ کے ذکر سے غافل نہ کردیں اور جو ایسا کریں وہ بڑے ہی زیاں کار لوگ ہیں ۔

O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah . And whoever does that - then those are the losers.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میں تو صرف اپنے رب ہی کو پکارتا ہوں اور اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں کرتا ۔

Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone."

اور قسم کھاتا ہوں اس نفس کی جو ملامت کرنے والا ہو ۔

And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].

نہ تم عبادت کرنے والے ہو اس کی جس کی میں عبادت کرتا ہوں ۔

Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.

اور نہ میں عبادت کرونگا جسکی تم عبادت کرتے ہو ۔

Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.

اور نہ تم اس کی عبادت کرنے والے ہو جس کی میں عبادت کر رہا ہوں ۔

Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.
