سورة الذاريات

شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔

In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

قسم ہے بکھیرنے والیوں کی اڑا کر ۔

By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing

پھر اٹھانے والیاں بوجھ کو ۔

And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water]

پھر چلنے والیاں نرمی سے ۔

And those [ships] sailing with ease

پھر کام کو تقسیم کرنے والیاں ۔

And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter,

یقین مانو کہ تم سے جو وعدے کئے جاتے ہیں ( سب ) سچے ہیں ۔

Indeed, what you are promised is true.

اور بیشک انصاف ہونے والا ہے ۔

And indeed, the recompense is to occur.

قسم ہے راہوں والے آسمان کی ۔

By the heaven containing pathways,

یقیناً تم مختلف بات میں پڑے ہوئے ہو ۔

Indeed, you are in differing speech.

اس سے وہی باز رکھا جاتا ہے جو پھیر دیا گیا ہو ۔

Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded.

بے سند باتیں کرنے والے غارت کر دیئے گئے ۔

Destroyed are the falsifiers

جو غفلت میں ہیں اور بھولے ہوئے ہیں ۔

Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.

پوچھتے ہیں کہ یوم جزا کب ہوگا؟

They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"

ہاں یہ وہ دن ہے کہ یہ آگ پر تپائے جائیں گے ۔

[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire

اپنی فتنہ پردازی کا مزہ چکھو ، یہی ہے جس کی تم جلدی مچا رہے تھے ۔

[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."

بیشک تقوٰی والے لوگ بہشتوں اور چشموں میں ہونگے ۔

Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs,

ان کے رب نے جو کچھ انہیں عطا فرمایا ہےاسے لے رہے ہونگے وہ تو اس سے پہلے ہی نیکوکار تھے ۔

Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.

وہ رات کو بہت کم سویا کرتے تھے ۔

They used to sleep but little of the night,

اور سحر کے وقت استغفار کیا کرتے تھے ۔

And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,

اور ان کے مال میں مانگنے والوں کااور سوال سے بچنے والوں کا حق تھا ۔

And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.

اور یقین والوں کے لئے تو زمین میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]

اور خود تمہاری ذات میں بھی ، تو کیا تم دیکھتے نہیں ہو ۔

And in yourselves. Then will you not see?

اور تمہاری روزی اور جو تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے سب آسمان میں ہے ۔

And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.

آسمان اور زمین کے پروردگار کی قسم! کہ یہ بالکل برحق ہے ایسا ہی جیسے کہ تم باتیں کرتے ہو ۔

Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking.

کیا تجھے ابراہیم ( علیہ السلام ) کے معزز مہمانوں کی خبر بھی پہنچی ہے ؟

Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -

وہ جب ان کے ہاں آئے تو سلام کیا ، ابراہیم نے جواب سلام دیا ( اور کہا یہ تو ) اجنبی لوگ ہیں ۔

When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown.

پھر ( چپ چاپ جلدی جلدی ) اپنے گھر والوں کی طرف گئے اور ایک فربہ بچھڑے ( کا گوشت ) لائے ۔

Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf

اور اسے ان کے پاس رکھا اور کہا آپ کھاتے کیوں نہیں؟

And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?"

پھر تو دل ہی دل میں ان سے خوف زدہ ہوگئے انہوں نے کہا آپ خوف نہ کیجئے اور انہوں نے اس ( حضرت ابراہیم ) کو ایک علم والے لڑکے کی بشارت دی ۔

And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.

پس ان کی بیوی آگے بڑھی اور حیرت میں آکر اپنے منہ پر ہاتھ مار کر کہا کہ میں تو بڑھیا ہوں اور ساتھ ہی بانجھ ۔

And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"

انہوں نے کہا ہاں تیرے پروردگار نے اسی طرح فرمایا ہے ، بیشک وہ حکیم و علیم ہے ۔

They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing."

۔ ( حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام ) نے کہا کہ اللہ کے بھیجے ہوئے ( فرشتو! ) تمہارا کیا مقصد ہے؟

[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"

انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ ہم گناہگار قوم کی طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں ۔

They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals

تاکہ ہم ان پر مٹی کے کنکر برسائیں ۔

To send down upon them stones of clay,

جو تیرے رب کی طرف سے نشان زدہ ہیں ان حد سے گزر جانے والوں کے لئے ۔

Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors."

پس جتنے ایمان والے وہاں تھے ہم نے انہیں نکال لیا ۔

So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers.

اور ہم نے وہاں مسلمانوں کا صرف ایک ہی گھر پایا ۔

And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims.

اور ہم نے ان کے لئے جو دردناک عذاب کا ڈر رکھتے ہیں ایک ( کامل ) علامت چھوڑی ۔

And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.

موسٰی ( علیہ السلام کے قصے ) میں ( بھی ہماری طرف سے تنبیہ ہے ) کہ ہم نے اسےفرعون کی طرف کھلی دلیل دے کر بھیجا ۔

And in Moses [was a sign], when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority.

پس اس نے اپنے بل بوتے پر منہ موڑا اور کہنے لگا یہ جادوگر ہے یا دیوانہ ہے ۔

But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman."

بالآخر ہم نے اسے اور اس کے لشکروں کو اپنے عذاب میں پکڑ کر دریا میں ڈال دیا وہ تھا ہی ملامت کے قابل ۔

So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy.

اسی طرح عادیوں میں بھی ( ہماری طرف سے تنبیہ ہے ) جب کہ ہم نے ان پر خیر و برکت سے خالی آندھی بھیجی ۔

And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind.

وہ جس جس چیز پر گرتی تھی اسے بوسیدہ ہڈی کی طرح ( چورا چورا ) کر دیتی تھی ۔

It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins.

اور ثمود ( کے قصے ) میں بھی ( عبرت ) ہے جب ان سے کہا گیا کہ تم کچھ دنوں تک فائدہ اٹھالو ۔

And in Thamud, when it was said to them, "Enjoy yourselves for a time."

لیکن انہوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرتابی کی جس پر انہیں ان کے دیکھتے دیکھتے ( تیزو تند ) کڑاکے نے ہلاک کر دیا ۔

But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on.

پس نہ تو وہ کھڑے ہو سکے اور نہ بدلہ لے سکے

And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves.

اور نوح ( علیہ السلام ) کی قوم کا بھی اس سے پہلے ( یہی حال ہو چکا تھا ) وہ بھی بڑے نافرمان لوگ تھے ۔

And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.

آسمان کو ہم نے ( اپنے ) ہاتھوں سے بنایا ہے اور یقیناً ہم کشادگی کرنے والے ہیں ۔

And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.

اور زمین کو ہم نے فرش بنا دیا ہے پس ہم بہت ہی اچھے بچھانے والے ہیں ۔

And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer.

اور ہر چیز کو ہم نے جوڑا جوڑا پیدا کیا ہے تاکہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو ۔

And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.
