So be patient, [O Muhammad], over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting,
Pus yeh jo kuch kehtay hain aap iss per sabar keren aur apnay rab ki tasbeeh tareef kay sath biyan keren sooraj nikalney say pehlay bhi aur sooraj ghuroob honey say pehlay bhi.
अतः जो कुछ वे कहते हैं उस पर धैर्य से काम लो और अपने रब की प्रशंसा की तसबीह करो; सूर्योदय से पूर्व और सूर्यास्त के पूर्व,
They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
Baraber bichay huye shandar takhtay per takkiye lagaye huye aur hum ney unkay nikkah bari bari aankhon wali ( hooron ) say kerdiye hain.
-पंक्तिबद्ध तख़्तो पर तकिया लगाए हुए होंगे और हम बड़ी आँखों वाली हूरों (परम रूपवती स्त्रियों) से उन का विवाह कर देंगे
And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.
Aur aapas mein aik doosray ki taraf mutawajja hoker sawal kerengey .
उन में से कुछ व्यक्ति कुछ व्यक्तियों की ओर हाल पूछते हुए रुख़ करेंगे,
So will you dispute with him over what he saw?
Kiya tum jhagra kertay ho iss per jo ( payghumber ) dekhtey hain.
अब क्या तुम उस चीज़ पर झगड़ते हो, जिसे वह देख रहा है? -
And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails,
Aur hum ney issay takhton aur keelon wali ( kashti ) per sawar kerliya
और हम ने उसे एक तख़्तों और कीलों वाली (नौका) पर सवार किया,
The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar."
Jiss din woh apney mun kay bal aag mein ghaseetay jayen gey. ( aur unn say kaha jayega ) dozakh ki aag lagney kay mazay chakho.
जिस दिन वे अपने मुँह के बल आग में घसीटे जाएँगे, "चखो मज़ा आग की लपट का!"
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.
Jannati aisay farashon per takkiya lagaye huye hongay jinkay astar dabeez resham kay hongay aur inn dono jannaton kay meway bilkul qareeb hongay.
वे ऐसे बिछौनो पर तकिया लगाए हुए होंगे जिन के अस्तर गाढे रेशम के होंगे, और दोनों बाग़ो के फल झुके हुए निकट ही होंगे।
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.
Sabz masnadon aur undah farshon per takkiya lagaye huye hongay.
वे हरे रेशमी गद्दो और उत्कृष्ट् और असाधारण क़ालीनों पर तकिया लगाए होंगे;
On thrones woven [with ornament],
yeh log sonay kay taaron say banay huye takhton per.
जड़ित तख़्तो पर;
His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent.
Aasmanon aur zamin ki badshahat ussi ki hai.woh hi zindagi deta hai aur mot bhi aur woh her cheez per qadir hai.
आकाशों और धरती की बादशाही उसी की है। वही जीवन प्रदान करता है और मृत्यु देता है, और उसे हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है
It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful.
Woh ( ALLAH ) hi hai jo apney banday per wazeh aayaten utaarta hai takay who tumhen andheron say noor ki taraf ley jaye yaqeenan ALLAH taalaa tum per narmi kernay wala reham kernay wala hai.
वही है जो अपने बन्दों पर स्पष्ट आयतें उतार रहा है, ताकि वह तुम्हें अंधकारों से प्रकाश की ओर ले आए। और वास्तविकता यह है कि अल्लाह तुम पर अत्यन्त करुणामय, दयावान है
In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful -
Takay tum apney say fol shuda kissi cheez per ranjeedah na hojoya kero our na attakerdah cheez per itra jao.our itranay walay shekhi khoron ko Allah pasand nhifarmata.
(यह बात तुम्हें इसलिए बता दी गई) ताकि तुम उस चीज़ का अफ़सोस न करो जो तुम से जाती रहे और न उस पर फूल जाओ जो उस ने तुम्हें प्रदान की हो। अल्लाह किसी इतराने वाले, बड़ाई जताने वाले को पसन्द नहीं करता
[This is] so that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able [to obtain] anything from the bounty of Allah and that [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah ; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
yeh iss liye kay ehl-e-kitab jaan lein kay ALLAH kay fazal kay kissi hissay per bhi unhen ikhtiyar nahi aur yeh kay ( sara ) fazal ALLAH hi kay hath hai woh jissay chahye dey aur ALLAH hai hi bara fazal wala.
ताकि किताब वाले यह न समझें कि अल्लाह के अनुग्रह में से वे किसी चीज़ पर अधिकार न प्राप्त कर सकेंगे और यह कि अनुग्रह अल्लाह के हाथ में है, जिसे चाहता है प्रदान करता है। अल्लाह बड़े अनुग्रह का मालिक है
On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all and inform them of what they did. Allah had enumerated it, while they forgot it; and Allah is, over all things, Witness.
Jiss din Allah Taalaa inn sab ko uthaye ga phir enhen unn kay kiye huye aemaal say aagah keray ga jissay Allah ney shumar ker rakha hai aur jissay yeh bhool gaye thay aur Allah Taalaa her cheez say waqif hai.
जिस दिन अल्लाह उन सबको उठा खड़ा करेगा और जो कुछ उन्होंने किया होगा, उस से उन्हें अवगत करा देगा। अल्लाह ने उस की गणना कर रखी है, और वे उसे भूले हुए हैं, और अल्लाह हर चीज़ का साक्षी है
On the Day Allah will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you and think that they are [standing] on something. Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars.
Jiss din Allah Taalaa inn sab ko utha khara keray ga to yeh jiss tarah tumharay samney qasmen khatay hain ( Allah Taalaa ) kay samney bhi qasmen khaney lagen gay aur samjhen gay kay woh bhi kissi ( daleel ) per hain yaqeen mano kay be-shak wohi jhootay hain.
जिस दिन अल्लाह उन सबको उठाएगा तो वे उस के सामने भी इसी तरह क़समें खाएँगे, जिस तरह तुम्हारे सामने क़समें खाते हैं और समझते हैं कि वे किसी बुनियाद पर हैं। सावधान रहो, निश्चय ही वही झूठे हैं!
And what Allah restored [of property] to His Messenger from them - you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels, but Allah gives His messengers power over whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
Aur inn ka jo maal Allah Taalaa ney apney rasool kay haath lagaya hai jiss per na to tum ney ghoray doraye hain aur na oont bulkay Allah Taalaa apney rasool ko jiss per chahaye ghalib ker deta hai aur Allah Taalaa her cheez per qadir hai.
और अल्लाह ने उन से लेकर अपने रसूल की ओर जो कुछ पलटाया, उस के लिए न तो तुम ने घोड़े दौड़ाए और न ऊँट। किन्तु अल्लाह अपने रसूलों को जिस पर चाहता है प्रभुत्व प्रदान कर देता है। अल्लाह को तो हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है

और अल्लाह ने उन से लेकर अपने रसूल की ओर जो कुछ पलटाया, उस के लिए न तो तुम ने घोड़े दौड़ाए और न ऊँट। किन्तु अल्लाह अपने रसूलों को जिस पर चाहता है प्रभुत्व प्रदान कर देता है। अल्लाह को तो हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है
And what Allah restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and orphans and the [stranded] traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
Bastiyon walon ka jo ( maal ) Allah Taalaa tumharay laray bhiray baghair apney rasool kay haath lagaye woh Allah ka hai aur rasool ka aur qarabat walon ka aur yateemon miskeenon ka aur musafiron ka hai takay tumharay dolat mandon kay haath mein hi yeh maal gardish kerta na reh jaye aur tumhen jo kuch rasool dey ley lo aur jiss say rokay ruk jao aur Allah Taalaa say dartay raha kero yaqeenan Allah Taalaa sakht azab wala hai.
जो कुछ अल्लाह ने अपने रसूल की ओर बस्तियों वालों से लेकर पलटाया वह अल्लाह और रसूल और (मुहताज) नातेदार और अनाथों और मुहताजों और मुसाफ़िर के लिए है, ताकि वह (माल) तुम्हारे मालदारों ही के बीच चक्कर न लगाता रहे - रसूल जो कुछ तुम्हें दे उसे ले लो और जिस चीज़ से तुम्हें रोक दे उस से रुक जाओ, और अल्लाह का डर रखो। निश्चय ही अल्लाह की यातना बहुत कठोर है। -
If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah . And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.
Agar hum iss quran ko kissi pahar per utartay to tu dekhta kay khof-e-elahee say woh pust ho ker tukray tukray ho jata hum inn misalon ko logon kay samney biyan kertay hain takay woh ghor-o-fiker keren.
यदि हम ने इस क़ुरआन को किसी पर्वत पर भी उतार दिया होता तो तुम अवश्य देखते कि अल्लाह के भय से वह दबा हुआ और फटा जाता है। ये मिसालें लोगों के लिए हम इसलिए पेश करते हैं कि वे सोच-विचार करें
O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment?
Aey eman walo! Kiya mein tumhen woh tijarat batla doon jo tumhen dard naak azab say bacha ley?
ऐ ईमान लाने वालो! क्या मैं तुम्हें एक ऐसा व्यापार बताऊँ जो तुम्हें दुखद यातना से बचा ले?
O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah , as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah ?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah ." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.
Aey eman walo! Tum Allah key madadgar bann jao. Jiss tarah hazrat marium kay betay hazrat essa ney hawariyon say farmaya kay kaun hai jo Allah ki raah mein mera madadgar baney? Hawariyon ney kaha hum Allah ki raah mein madadgar hain pus bani israeel mein say aik jamat to eman laee aur aik jamat ney kufur kiya tum hum ney mominon ki unn kay dushman kay muqabley mein madad ki pus woh ghalib aagaye.
ऐ ईमान लाने वालों! अल्लाह के सहायक बनो, जैसा कि मरयम के बेटे ईसा ने हवारियों (साथियों) से कहा था, "कौन है अल्लाह की ओर (बुलाने में) मेरे सहायक?" हवारियों ने कहा, "हम हैं अल्लाह के सहायक।" फिर इसराईल की संतान में से एक गिरोह ईमान ले आया और एक गिरोह ने इनकार किया। अतः हम ने उन लोगों को, जो ईमान लाए थे, उन के अपने शत्रुओं के मुकाबले में शक्ति प्रदान की, तो वे छाकर रहे
That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.
Yeh iss sabab say hai kay yeh eman laa ker phir kafir hogaye pus inn kay dilon per mohar ker di gaee abb yeh nahi samajhtay.
यह इस कारण कि वे ईमान लाए, फिर इनकार किया, अतः उन के दिलों पर मुहर लगा दी गई, अब वे कुछ नहीं समझते
They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.
Yehi woh log hain jo kehtay hain kay jo log rasool-lullah kay pass hain unn per kuch kharach na kero yahan tak kay woh idhar udhar ho jayen aur aasman-o-zamin kay kul khazaney Allah Taalaa ki milkiyat hain lekin yeh munfiq bey samajh hain.
वे वहीं लोग हैं जो कहते हैं, "उन लोगों पर ख़र्च न करो जो अल्लाह के रसूल के पास रहने वाले हैं, ताकि वे तितर-बितर हो जाएँ।" हालाँकि आकाशों और धरती के ख़जाने अल्लाह ही के हैं, किन्तु वे मुनाफ़िक़ समझते नहीं
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah . To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent.
Tamam cheez jo aasmanon aur zamin mein hain Allah ki paki biyan kerti hain ussi ki saltanat hai aur ussi ki tareef hai aur woh her her cheez per qadir hai.
अल्लाह की तसबीह कर रही है हर वह चीज़ जो आकाशों में है और जो धरती में है। उसी की बादशाही है और उसी के लिए प्रशंसा है और उसे हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है
And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification.
( logo ) Allah ka kehna mano aur rasool ka kehna mano. Pus agar tum aeyraaz kero to humaray rasool kay zimmay sirf saaf saaf phoncha dena hai.
अल्लाह की आज्ञा का पालन करो और रसूल की आज्ञा का पालन करो, किन्तु यदि तुम मुँह मोड़ते हो तो हमारे रसूल पर बस स्पष्ट रूप से (संदेश) पहुँचा देने की ज़िम्मेदारी है
It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.
Allah woh hai jiss ney saat aasaman banaye aur issi kay misil zaminen bhi. Iss ka hukum inn kay darmiyan utarta hai takay tum jaan lo kay Allah her cheez per qadir hai aur Allah Taalaa ney her cheez ko ba-aetbaar ilm gher rakha hai.
अल्लाह ही है जिस ने सात आकाश बनाए और उन्ही के सदृश धरती से भी। उन के बीच (उस का) आदेश उतरता रहता है ताकि तुम जान लो कि अल्लाह को हर चीज़ का सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है और यह कि अल्लाह हर चीज़ को अपनी ज्ञान-परिधि में लिए हुए है
O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, "Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent."
Aey eman walo! Tum Allah kay samney sachi khalis tauba kero. Qareeb hai kay tumhara rab tumharay gunah door kerday aur tumhen aisi jannaton mein dakhil keray jin kay neechay nehren jari hain. Jiss din Allah Taalaa nabi ko aur eman daron ko jo inn kay sath hain ruswa na keray ga. Inn ka noor inn kay samney aur inn kay dayen dor raha hoga. Yeh duayen kertay hongay aey humaray rab humen kaamil noor ata farma aur humen bakhsh dey yaqeenan tu her cheez per qadir hai.
ऐ ईमान लाने वाले! अल्लाह के आगे तौबा करो, विशुद्ध तौबा। बहुत सम्भव है कि तुम्हारा रब तुम्हारी बुराइयाँ तुम से दूर कर दे और तुम्हें ऐसे बाग़ों में दाख़िल करे जिन के नीचे नहरें बह रही होंगी, जिस दिन अल्लाह नबी को और उन को जो ईमान लाकर उस के साथ हुए, रुसवा न करेगा। उन का प्रकाश उन के आगे-आगे दौड़ रहा होगा और उन के दाहिने हाथ मे होगा। वे कह रहे होंगे, "ऐ हमारे रब! हमारे लिए हमारे प्रकाश को पूर्ण कर दे और हमें क्षमा कर। निश्चय ही तू हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य रखता है।"
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -
Boht babarkat hai woh ( Allah ) jiss kay hath mein badshaee hai aur jo her cheez per qudrat rakhnay wala hai.
बड़ा बरकत वाला है वह जिस के हाथ में सारी बादशाही है और वह हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य रखता है। -
Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path?
Acha woh shaks zada hidayat wala hai jo apnay mun kay bal ondha hoker chalay ya woh jo seedha ( peron kay bal ) raah-e-raast per chala ho?
तो क्या वह व्यक्ति जो अपने मुँह के बल औंधा चलता हो वह अधिक सीधे मार्ग पर है या वह जो सीधा होकर सीधे मार्ग पर चल रहा है?
Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path?
Acha woh shaks zada hidayat wala hai jo apnay mun kay bal ondha hoker chalay ya woh jo seedha ( peron kay bal ) raah-e-raast per chala ho?
तो क्या वह व्यक्ति जो अपने मुँह के बल औंधा चलता हो वह अधिक सीधे मार्ग पर है या वह जो सीधा होकर सीधे मार्ग पर चल रहा है?
[Saying], "Go early to your crop if you would cut the fruit."
Kay agar tumhen phal utarnay hain to apni kheti per saweray hi saweray chal paro.
कि "यदि तुम्हें फल तोड़ना है तो अपनी खेती पर सवेरे ही पहुँचो।"
And they went early in determination, [assuming themselves] able.
Aur lapkay huye subha subha gaye ( Samajh rahey thay ) kay hum qaaboo paagaye.
और वे आज तेज़ी के साथ चले मानो (मुहताजों को) रोक देने की उन्हें सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है
Then they approached one another, blaming each other.
Phir who aik doosray ki taraf rukh kerkay aapas mein malamat kernay lagay.
फिर वे परस्पर एक-दूसरे की ओर रुख़ करके लगे एक-दूसरे को मलामत करने।
Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor.
Aur miskeen kay khilanay per raghbat na dilata tha
और न मुहताज को खाना खिलाने पर उभारता था
Those who are constant in their prayer
J apnai namaz per hameshagi kernay walay hein
जो अपनी नमाज़ पर सदैव जमें रहते हैं,
And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer:
Aur jo apni namazon ki hifazat kertay hein
और जो अपनी नमाज़ की रक्षा करते हैं
[He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone
Wo ghaib ka jannay wala hai aur apney ghaib per kisi ko mutlaa nahi kerta
"परोक्ष का जानने वाला वही है और वह अपने परोक्ष को किसी पर प्रकट नहीं करता,
And be patient over what they say and avoid them with gracious avoidance.
Aur jo kuch wo kahy to sehta rah aur wazedari kay sath un say alag thalag rah
और जो कुछ वे कहते हैं उस पर धैर्य से काम लो और भली रीति से उन से अलग हो जाओ
Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,
Bulkay insan khud apney upper aap hujjat hai
नहीं, बल्कि मनुष्य स्वयं अपने हाल पर निगाह रखता है,
And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,
Aur Allah Taalaa ki mohabat mein khana khilatay hein miskeen yateem aur qediyon ko
और वे मुहताज, अनाथ और क़ैदी को खाना उस की चाहत रखते हुए खिलाते हैं,
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.
Yun nahi balky in kay dilon per in kay amal ki waja say zang ( charh gaya ) hai
कुछ नहीं, बल्कि जो कुछ वे कमाते रहे हैं वह उन के दिलों पर चढ़ गया है
And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.
Aur musalmano kay sath jo ker rahy thy us ko apney samney dekh rahy thy
और वे जो कुछ ईमान वालों के साथ करते रहे, उसे देखेंगे
To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , over all things, is Witness.
jis kay liey asman o zameen ka mulk hay aur Allah Taalaa kay samney hy her chez
जिस के लिए आकाशों और धरती की बादशाही है। और अल्लाह हर चीज़ का साक्षी है
Indeed, Allah , to return him [to life], is Able.
Be sahk wo usy pher lyney per yaqeenan qudrat rakhney wala hay
निश्चय ही वह उस के लौटा देने की सामर्थ्य रखता है
And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.
Aur miskino kay khilaney ki ik dosry ko targheeb nahi kerty
और न मुहताज को खिलाने पर एक-दूसरे को उभारते हो,
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
Aur yaqeenan who khud bhi issi per gawah hai
और निश्चय ही वह स्वयं इस पर गवाह है!
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
Aur miskeen ko khilaney ki targeeb nahi deta.
और मुहताज के खिलाने पर नहीं उकसाता
