In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Shuroo Allah kay naam say jo bara meharban nehayat reham kerney wala hai
अल्लाह के नाम से जो बड़ा कृपालु और अत्यन्त दयावान है।
Certainly will the believers have succeeded:
Yaqeenan eman walon ney falah hasil kerli.
सफल हो गए ईमान वाले,
They who are during their prayer humbly submissive
Jo aoni namaz mein khusoo kertay hain.
जो अपनी नमाज़ों में विनम्रता अपनाते हैं;
And they who turn away from ill speech
Jo laghwiyaat say mun mor letay hain.
और जो व्यर्थ बातों से पहलू बचाते हैं;
And they who are observant of zakah
Jo zakat ada kerney walay hain.
और जो ज़कात अदा करते हैं;
And they who guard their private parts
Jo apni sharamghaon ki hifazat kerney walay hain.
और जो अपने गुप्तांगों की रक्षा करते हैं-
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed -
Ba-juz apni biwiyon aur milkiyat ki londiyon kay yaqeenan yeh mala matiyon mein say nahi hain.
सिवाय इस सूरत के कि अपनी पत्नि यों या लौंडियों के पास जाएँ कि इस पर वे निन्दनीय नहीं है
But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -
Jo iss kay siwa kuch aur chahayen wohi hadd say tajawuz ker janey walay hain.
परन्तु जो कोई इस के अतिरिक्त कुछ और चाहे तो ऐसे ही लोग सीमा उल्लंघन करने वाले हैं।-
And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive
Jo apni amanaton aur waday ki hifazat kerney walay hain.
और जो अपनी अमानतों और अपनी प्रतिज्ञा का ध्यान रखते हैं;
And they who carefully maintain their prayers -
Jo apni namazon ki nigehbani kertay hain.
और जो अपनी नमाज़ों की रक्षा करते हैं;
Those are the inheritors
Yehi waris hain.
वही वारिस होने वाले हैं
Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.
Jo firdous kay waris hongay jahan woh hamesha rahen gay.
जो फ़िरदौस की विरासत पाएँगे। वे उस में सदैव रहेंगे
And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay.
Yaqeenan hum ney insan ko mitti kay johar say peda kiya.
हम ने मनुष्य को मिट्टी के सत से बनाया
Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging.
Phir ussay nutfa bana ker mehfooz jagah mein qarar dey diya.
फिर हम ने उसे एक सुरक्षित ठहरने की जगह टपकी हुई बूँद बनाकर रखा
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators.
Phir nutfay ko hum ney jama hua khoon bana diya phir uss khoon kay lothray ko gosht ka tukra ker diya. Phir gosht kay tukray ko haddiyan bana den phir haddiyon ko hum ney gosht pehna diya phir doosri banawat mein uss ko peda ker diya. Barkaton wala hai woh Allah jo sab say behtareen peda kerney wala hai.
फिर हम ने उस बूँद को लोथड़े का रूप दिया; फिर हम ने उस लोथड़े को बोटी का रूप दिया; फिर हम ने उन हड्डियों पर मांस चढाया; फिर हम ने उसे एक दूसरा ही सर्जन रूप देकर खड़ा किया। अतः बहुत ही बरकत वाला है अल्लाह, सबसे उत्तम स्रष्टा!
Then indeed, after that you are to die.
Iss kay baad phir tum sab yaqeenan marr janey walay ho.
फिर तुम अवश्य मरने वाले हो
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.
Phir qayamat kay din bila shuba tum sab uthaye jaogay.
फिर क़ियामत के दिन तुम निश्चय ही उठाए जाओगे
And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware.
Hum ney tumharay upper saat aasman banaye hain aur hum makhlooqaat say ghafil nahi hain.
और हम ने तुम्हारे ऊपर सात रास्ते बनाए हैं। और हम सृष्टि-कार्य से ग़ाफ़िल नहीं
And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away.
Hum aik sahih andaz say aasman say paani barsatay hain phir ussay zamin mein thehra detay hain aur hum uss kay ley janey per yaqeena qadir hain.
और हम ने आकाश से एक अंदाज़े के साथ पानी उतारा। फिर हम ने उसे धरती में ठहरा दिया, और उसे विलुप्त करने की सामर्थ्य भी हमें प्राप्त है
And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.
Issi pani kay zariyey say hum tumharay liye khajooron aur angooron kay baghaat peda ker detay hain kay tumharay liye inn mein boht say meway hotay hain enhi mein say tum khatay bhi ho.
फिर हम ने उस के द्वारा तुम्हारे लिए खजूरो और अंगूरों के बाग़ पैदा किए। तुम्हारे लिए उन में बहुत-से फल है (जिनमें तुम्हारे लिए कितने ही लाभ है) और उन में से तुम खाते हो
And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat.
Aru woh darakht jo toor-e-seena pahar say nikalta hai jo tel nikalta hai aur khaney walay kay liye salan hai.
और वह वृक्ष भी जो सैना पर्वत से निकलता है, जो तेल और खाने वालों के लिए सालन लिए हुए उगता है
And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat.
Tumhray liye chopayon mein bhi boht bari bhari ibrat hai. inn kay peton mein say hum doodh pilatay hain aur bhi boht say nafay tumharay liye inn mein hain inn mein say baaz baaz ko tum khatay bhi ho.
और निश्चय ही तुम्हारे लिए चौपायों में भी एक शिक्षा है। उन के पेटों में जो कुछ है उस में से हम तुम्हें पिलाते हैं। और तुम्हारे लिए उन में बहुत-से फ़ायदे हैं और उन्हें तुम खाते भी हो
And upon them and on ships you are carried.
Aur inn per aur kashtiyon per tum sawar keraye jatay ho.
और उन पर और नौकाओं पर तुम सवार होते हो
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
Yaqeenan hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko uss ki qom ki taraf rasool bana ker bheja uss ney kaha aey meri qom kay logo! Allah ki ibadat kero aur uss kay siwa tumhara koi mabood nahi kiya tum ( uss say ) nahi dartay.
हम ने नूह को उस की क़ौम की ओर भेजा तो उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरी क़ौम के लोगो! अल्लाह की बन्दगी करो। उस के सिवा तुम्हारा और कोई इष्ट-पूज्य नहीं है तो क्या तुम डर नहीं रखते?"
But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers.
Uss ki qom kay kafir sardaron ney saaf keh diya kay yeh to tum jesa hi insan hai yeh tum per fazeelat aur baraee hasil kerna chahata hai. Agar Allah hi ko manzoor hota to kissi farishtay ko utarta hum ney to issay apnay aglay baap dadon kay zamaney mein suna hi nahi.
इस पर उन की क़ौम के सरदार, जिन्होंने इनकार किया था, कहने लगे, "यह तो बस तुम्हीं जैसा एक मनुष्य है। चाहता है कि तुम पर श्रेष्ठता प्राप्त करे।""अल्लाह यदि चाहता तो फ़रिश्ते उतार देता। यह बात तो हम ने अपने अगले बाप-दादा के समयों से सुनी ही नहीं
He is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerning him for a time."
Yaqeenan iss shaks ko junoon hai pus tum issay aik waqt-e-muqarrara tak dheel do.
यह तो बस एक उन्मादग्रस्त व्यक्ति है। अतः एक समय तक इस की प्रतीक्षा कर लो।"
[Noah] said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
Nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ney dua ki aey meray rab! Inn kay jhutlaney per tu meri madad farma.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! इन्होंने मुझे जो झुठलाया है, इस पर तू मेरी सहायता कर।"
So We inspired to him, "Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned.
To hum ney unn ki taraf wahee bheji kay tu humari aankhon kay samney humari wahee kay mutabiq aik kashti bana. Jab humara hukum aajaye aur tanoor ubal paray to tu her qisam ka aik aik jora iss mein rakh ley aur apnay ehal ko bhi magar inn mein say jin ki babat humari baat pehaly guzar chuki hai. Khabardar jin logon ney zulm kiya hai unn kay baray mein mujh say kuch kalaam na kerna woh to sab doboye jayen gay.
तब हम ने उस की ओर प्रकाशना की कि "हमारी आँखों के सामने और हमारी प्रकाशना के अनुसार नौका बना और फिर जब हमारा आदेश आ जाए और तूफ़ान उमड़ पड़े तो प्रत्येक प्रजाति में से एक-एक जोड़ा उस में रख ले और अपने लोगों को भी, सिवाय उन के जिन के विरुद्ध पहले फ़ैसला हो चुका है। और अत्याचारियों के विषय में मुझ से बात न करना। वे तो डूबकर रहेंगे
And when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, 'Praise to Allah who has saved us form the wrongdoing people.'
Jab tu aur teray sathi kashti per ba-itminaan betha jao to kehna sab tareef Allah kay liye hi hai jiss ney humen zalim logon say nijat ata farmaee.
फिर जब तू नौका पर सवार हो जाए और तेरे साथी भी तो कह, प्रशंसा है अल्लाह की, जिस ने हमें ज़ालिम लोगों से छुटकारा दिया
And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].' "
Aur kehna kay aey meray rab! Mujhay ba-barkat utarna utaar aur tu hi behtar hai utarney walon mein.
और कह, ऐ मेरे रब! मुझे बरकत वाली जगह उतार। और तू सबसे अच्छा मेज़बान है।"
Indeed in that are signs, and indeed, We are ever testing [Our servants].
Yaqeenan iss mein bari bari nishaniyan hain aur hum be-shak aazmaeesh kerney walay hain.
निस्संदेह इसमें कितनी ही निशानियाँ हैं और परीक्षा तो हम करते ही हैं
Then We produced after them a generation of others.
Inn kay baad hum ney aur bhi ummat peda ki.
फिर उन के पश्चात हम ने एक दूसरी नस्ल को उठाया;
And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
Phir unn mein khud unn mein say ( hi ) rasool bhi bheja kay tum sab Allah ki ibadat kero aur uss kay siwa tumhara koi mabood nahi tum kiyon nahi dartay?
और उन में हम ने स्वयं उन्हीं में से एक रसूल भेजा कि "अल्लाह की बन्दगी करो। उस के सिवा तुम्हारा कोई इष्ट-पूज्य नहीं। तो क्या तुम डर नहीं रखते?"
And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.
Aur sardaraan-e-qom ney jawab diya jo kufur kertay thay aur aakhirat ki mulaqat ko jhutlatay thay aur hum ney unhen dunyawi zindagi mein khushal ker rakha tha kay yeh to tum jesa hi insan hai tumhari hi khooraq yeh bhi khata hai aur tumharay peenay ka pani hi yeh bhi peeta hai.
उस की क़ौम के सरदार, जिन्होंने इनकार किया और आख़िरत के मिलन को झूठलाया और जिन्हें हम ने सांसारिक जीवन में सुख प्रदान किया था, कहने लगे, "यह तो बस तुम्हीं जैसा एक मनुष्य है। जो कुछ तुम खाते हो, वही यह भी खाता है और जो कुछ तुम पीते हो, वही यह भी पीता है
And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.
Agar tum ney apnay jesay hi insan ki tabeydari kerli to be-shak tum sakht khasaray walay ho.
यदि तुम अपने ही जैसे एक मनुष्य के आज्ञाकारी हुए तो निश्चय ही तुम घाटे में पड़ गए
Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]?
Kiya yeh tumhen iss baat ka wada kerta hai kay jab tum marr ker sirf khak aur haddi reh jaogay to tum phir zinda kiye jaogay.
क्या यह तुम से वादा करता है कि जब तुम मरकर मिट्टी और हड़्डियाँ होकर रह जाओगे तो तुम निकाले जाओगे?
How far, how far, is that which you are promised.
Nahi nahi door aur boht door hai woh jiss ka tum wada diye jatay ho.
दूर की बात है, बहुत दूर की, जिस का तुम से वादा किया जा रहा है!
Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.
( zindagi ) to sirf duniya ki zindagi hai hum martay jeetay rehtay hain aur yeh nahi kay hum phir uthaye jayen gay.
वह तो बस हमारा सांसारिक जीवन ही है। (यहीं) हम मरते और जीते हैं। हम कोई दोबारा उठाए जाने वाले नहीं हैं
He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah , and we will not believe him."
Yeh to bus aisa shaks hai jiss ney Allah per jhoot ( bohtaan ) bandh liya hai hum to iss per eman laney walay nahi hain.
वह तो बस एक ऐसा व्यक्ति है जिस ने अल्लाह पर झूठ घड़ा है। हम उसे कदापि मानने वाले नहीं।"
He said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
Nabi ney dua ki kay perwerdigar! Inn kay jhutlaney per tu meri madad ker.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! उन्होंने जो मुझे झुठलाया, उस पर तू मेरी सहायता कर।"
[ Allah ] said, "After a little, they will surely become regretful."
Jawab mila kay yeh to boht hi jald apnay kiye per pachtaney lagen gay.
कहा, "शीघ्र ही वे पछताकर रहेंगे।"
So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people.
Bil-aakhir adal kay taqazay kay mutabiq cheekh ney pakar liya aur hum ney unhen koora karkat ker dala pus zalimon kay liye doori ho.
फिर घटित होने वाली बात के अनुसार उन्हें एक प्रचंड आवाज़ ने आ लिया और हम ने उन्हें कूड़ा-कर्कट बनाकर रख दिया। अतः फिटकार है, ऐसे अत्याचारी लोगों पर!
Then We produced after them other generations.
Inn kay baad hum ney aur bhi boht si ummaten peda kin.
फिर हम ने उन के पश्चात दूसरी नस्लों को उठाया
No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter].
Na to koi ummat apnay waqt-e-muqarrara say aagey barhi aur na peechay rahi.
कोई समुदाय न तो अपने निर्धारित समय से आगे बढ़ सकता है और न पीछे रह सकता है
Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe.
Phir hum ney lagataar rasool bhejay jab jab jiss ummat kay pass uss ka rasool aaya uss ney jhutlaya pus hum ney aik ko doosray kay peechay laga diya aur unhen afsana bana diya. Unn logon ko doori ho jo eman qabool nahi kertay.
फिर हम ने निरन्तर अपने रसूल भेजे। जब भी किसी समुदाय के पास उस का रसूल आया, तो उस के लोगों ने उसे झुठला दिया। अतः हम एक दूसरे के पीछे (विनाश के लिए) लगाते चले गए और हम ने उन्हें ऐसा कर दिया कि वे कहानियाँ होकर रह गए। फिटकार हो उन लोगों पर जो ईमान न लाएँ
Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority
Phir hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko aur uss kay bhai haroon ( alh-e-salam ) ko apni aayaton aur khulli daleel kay sath bheja.
फिर हम ने मूसा और उस के भाई हारून को अपनी निशानियों और खुले प्रमाण के साथ फ़िरऔन और उस के सरदारों की ओर भेजा।
To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people.
Firaon aur uss kay lashkaron ki taraf pus unhon ney takabbur kiya aur thay hi woh sirkash log.
किन्तु उन्होंने अहंकार किया। वे थे ही सरकश लोग
They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?"
Kehney lagay kay kiya hum apnay jesay do shakhson per eman aayen? Halankay khud unn ki qom ( bhi ) humaray ma-tehat hai.
तो व कहने लगे, "क्या हम अपने ही जैसे दो मनुष्यों की बात मान लें, जबकि उन की क़ौम हमारी ग़ुलाम भी है?"
So they denied them and were of those destroyed.
Pus unhon ney unn dono ko jhutlaya aakhir woh bhi halak shuda logon mein mill gaye.
अतः उन्होंने उन दोनों को झुठला दिया और विनष्ट होने वालों में सम्मिलित होकर रहे
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they would be guided.
Hum ney to musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko kitab ( bhi ) di kay log raah-e-raast per aajyen.
और हम ने मूसा को किताब प्रदान की, ताकि वे लोग मार्ग पा सकें
