And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful.
Hum ney issi tarah tumhen aadil ummat banaya hai takay tum logon per gawah hojao aur rasool ( PBUH ) tum per gawah hojayen jiss qiblay per tum pehlay say thay ussay hum ney iss liye muqarrar kiya tha kay hum jaan len kay rasool ka sacha tabey daar kaun hai aur kaun hai jo apni aeyrhiyon kay ball palat jata hai go yeh kaam mushkil hai magar jinhen Allah ney hidayat di hai ( unn per koi mushkil nahi ) Allah Taalaa tumharay aemaal zaya na keray ga Allah Taalaa logon kay sath shafqat aur meharbani kerney wala hai.
और इस तरह हमने तुमको बीच की उम्मत बना दिया, ताकि तुम गवाह रहो लोगों पर और रसूल रहे तुम पर गवाह, और जिस क़िबले पर तुम थे हमने उसको सिर्फ़ इसलिए मुतअय्यन किया था ताकि हम जान लें कि कौन रसूल की पैरवी करता है और कौन उससे उलटे पाँव फिर जाता है, और बेशक यह बात भारी है मगर उन लोगों पर जिनको अल्लाह ने हिदायत दी, और अल्लाह ऐसा नहीं कि तुम्हारे ईमान को ज़ाया कर दे, बेशक अल्लाह लोगों के साथ शफ़क़त करने वाला मेहरबान है।
And thus We have tried some of them through others that the disbelievers might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful?
Aur issi tarah say hum ney baaz ko baaz kay zariye say aazmaeesh mein daal rakha hai takay yeh log kaha keren kiya yeh log hain kay hum sab mein say inn per Allah Taalaa ney fazal kiya hai. Kiya yeh baat nahi hai kay Allah Taalaa shukar guzaron ko khoob janta hai.
और इस तरह हमने उनमें से एक को दूसरे से आज़माया है ताकि वे कहें कि क्या यही वे लोग हैं जिन पर हमारे दरमियान अल्लाह का फ़ज़्ल हुआ है, क्या अल्लाह शुक्रगुज़ारों से ख़ूब वाक़िफ़ नहीं?
And thus do We detail the verses, and [thus] the way of the criminals will become evident.
Issi tarah hum aayaat ki tafseel kertay rehtay hain aur takay mujrimeen ka tareeqa zahir hojaye.
और इस तरह हम अपनी निशानियाँ खोल कर बयान करते हैं और ताकि मुजरिमों का तरीक़ा ज़ाहिर हो जाए।
And thus did We show Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth that he would be among the certain [in faith]
Aur hum ney aisay hi tor per ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) ko aasmanon aur zamin ki makhlooqaat dikhlaeen aur takay kaamil yaqeen kerney walon say hojayen.
और इसी तरह हमने इब्राहीम (अलै॰) को दिखा दी आसमानों और ज़मीन की हुकूमत और ताकि वे यक़ीन करने वालों में से बन जाएं।
And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.
6.84. Aur hum ney unn ko ishaq diya aur yaqoob her aik ko hum ney hidayat ki aur pehlay zamney mein hum ney nooh ko hidayat ki aur unn ki aulad mein say dawood ko aur suleman ko aur ayub ko aur yousuf ko aur musa ko aur haroon ko aur issi tarah hum nek kaam kerney walon ko jaza diya kertay hain.
और हमने इब्राहीम (अलै॰) को इसहाक़ और याक़ूब (अलैहिमस्सलाम) अता किए, हर एक को हमने हिदायत दी और नूह (अलै॰) को भी हमने हिदायत दी उससे पहले, और उसकी नस्ल में से दाऊद और सुलेमान और अय्यूब और यूसुफ़ और मूसा और हारून (अलैहिमुस्सलाम) को भी, और हम नेकूकारों को इसी तरह बदला देते हैं।
And thus do We diversify the verses so the disbelievers will say, "You have studied," and so We may make the Qur'an clear for a people who know.
Aur hum iss tor per dalaeel ko mukhtalif pehloo’on say biyan kertay hain takay yeh yun kahen kay aap ney kissi say parh liya hai aur takay hum iss ko danish mandon kay liye khoob zahir ker den.
और इस तरह हम अपनी दलीलें मुख़्तलिफ़ तरीक़ों से बयान करते हैं और ताकि वे कहें कि तुमने पढ़ दिया और ताकि हम वाज़ेह कर दें उन लोगों के लिए जो जानना चाहें।
And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy - devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.
Aur issi tarah say hum ney her nabi kay dushman boht say shetan peda kiya thay kuch aadmi aur kuch jinn, jin mein say baaz baazon ko chikni chupri baaton ka waswasa daaltay rehtay thay takay unn ko dhokay mein daal den aur agar Allah Taalaa chahata to yeh aisay kaam na ker saktay so inn logon ko aur jo kuch yeh iftra perdaazi ker rahey hain uss ko aap rehney dijiye.
और इसी तरह हमने शरीर इंसानों और शरीर जिन्नात को हर नबी का दुश्मन बना दिया, वे एक-दूसरे को पुर-फ़रेब बातें सिखाते हैं धोका देने के लिए, और अगर आपका रब चाहता तो वे ऐसा न कर सकते, पस आप उन्हें छोड़ दें कि वे झूठ बाँधते हैं।
And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein. But they conspire not except against themselves, and they perceive [it] not.
Aur issi tarah hum ney her basti mein wahan kay raeeson hi ko jaraeem ka murtakib banaya takay woh log wahan fareb keren. Aure woh log apney hi sath fareb ker rahey hian aur inn ko zara khabar nahi.
और इस तरह हर बस्ती में हमने गुनहगारों के सरदार रख दिए हैं कि वे वहाँ हीले-बहाने करें; हालाँकि वे जो हीले करते हैं अपने ही ख़िलाफ़ करते हैं मगर वे इसको नहीं समझते।
And thus will We make some of the wrongdoers allies of others for what they used to earn.
Aur issi tarah hum baaz kuffaar ko baaz kay qarib rakhen gay unn kay aemaal kay sabab.
और इसी तरह हम साथ मिला देंगे गुनहगारों को एक-दूसरे से उन आमाल की वजह से जो वे करते थे।
And likewise, to many of the polytheists their partners have made [to seem] pleasing the killing of their children in order to bring about their destruction and to cover them with confusion in their religion. And if Allah had willed, they would not have done so. So leave them and that which they invent.
Aur issi tarah boht say mushrikeen kay khayal mein unn kay maboodon ney unn ki aulad kay qatal kerney ko mustehsan bana rakha hai takay woh inn ko barbad keren aur takay inn kay deen ko inn per mushtaba ker den aur agar Allah ko manzoor hota to yeh aisa kaam na kertay to aap inn ko aur jo kuch ghalat baaten yeh bana rahey hain yun hi rehney dijiye.
और इस तरह बहुत-से मुशरिकों की नज़र में उनके शरीकों ने अपनी औलाद के क़त्ल को ख़ुशनुमा बना दिया; ताकि उनको बरबाद कर दें और उन पर उनके दीन को मुश्तबह बना दें, और अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो वे ऐसा न करते, पस उनको छोड़ दीजिए कि अपनी मन-घड़त बातों में लगे रहें।
Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals.
Jin logon ney humari aayaton ko jhutlaya aur inn say takbbur kiya unn kay liye aasman kay darwazay na kholay jayen gay aur woh log kabhi jannat mein na jayengay jab tak oont sui kay nakay kay andar say na chala jaye aur hum mujrim logon ko aisi hi saza detay hain.
बेशक जिन लोगों ने हमारी निशानियों को झुठलाया और उनसे तकब्बुर किया उनके लिए आसमान के दरवाज़े नहीं खोले जाएंगे और वे जन्नत में दाख़िल न होंगे जब तक कि ऊँट सूई के नाके में न घुस जाए, और हम मुजरिमों को ऐसी ही सज़ा देते हैं।
They will have from Hell a bed and over them coverings [of fire]. And thus do We recompense the wrongdoers.
Unn kay liye aatish-e-dozakh ka bichona hoga aur unn kay upper ( issi ) ka ordhna hoga aur hum aisay zalimon ko aisi hi saza detay hain.
उनके लिए दोज़ख़ का बिछौना होगा और उनके ऊपर उसी का ओढ़ना होगा, और हम ज़ालिमों को इसी तरह सज़ा देते हैं।
Indeed, those who took the calf [for worship] will obtain anger from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world, and thus do We recompense the inventors [of falsehood].
Be-shak jin logon ney go sala parasti ki hai unn per boht jald unn kay rab ki taraf say ghazab aur zillat iss dunyawi zindagi hi mein paray gi aur hum iftra pardazon ko aisi hi saza diya kertay hain.
बेशक जिन लोगों ने बछड़े को माबूद बनाया उनको उनके रब का ग़ज़ब पहुँचेगा और ज़िल्लत दुनिया की ज़िंदगी में, और हम ऐसा ही बदला देते हैं झूठ बाँधने वालों को।
And thus do We [explain in] detail the verses, and perhaps they will return.
Hum issi tarah aayaat ko saaf saaf biyan kertay hain aur takay woh baaz ajayen.
और इस तरह हम अपनी निशानियाँ खोलकर बयान करते हैं ताकि वे लौट जाएं।
And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe.
Teray perwerdigar ki pakar ka yehi tareeqa hai jabkay woh bastiyon kay rehney walay zalimon ko pakarta hai beshak uss ki pakar dukh denay wali aur nihayat sakht hai.
और आपके रब की पकड़ ऐसी ही है जबकि वह बस्तियों को उनके ज़ुल्म पर पकड़ता है, बेशक उसकी पकड़ बड़ी दर्दनाक और सख़्त है।
And thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of narratives and complete His favor upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He completed it upon your fathers before, Abraham and Isaac. Indeed, your Lord is Knowing and Wise."
Aur issi tarah tujhay tera perwerdigar bargazeedah keray ga aur tujhay moamla fehmi ( ya khuwabon ki tabeer ) bhi sikhaye ga aur apni nemat tujhay bharpoor ata farmaye ga aur yaqoob kay ghar walon ko bhi jaisay kay uss ney iss say pehlay teray dada aur per-dada yani ibrahim-o-ishaq ko bhi bhar poor apni nemat di yaqeenan tera rab boht baray ilm wala aur zabardast hikmat wala hai.
और इसी तरह तुम्हारा रब तुमको मुंतख़ब करेगा और तुमको बातों की हक़ीक़त तक पहुँचना सिखाएगा और तुम पर और आले-याक़ूब पर अपनी नेमत पूरी करेगा जिस तरह वह इससे पहले तुम्हारे बाप-दादा इब्राहीम और इसहाक़ (अलैहिमस्सलाम) पर अपनी नेमत पूरी कर चुका है, यक़ीनन तुम्हारा रब जानने वाला, हिकमत वाला है।
And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know.
Misir walon mein say jiss ney ussay khareeda tha uss ney apni biwi say kaha issay boht izzat-o-ehtram kay sath rakho boht mumkin hai kay yeh humen faeeda phonchaye ya issay hum apna beta hi bana len yun to hum ney misir ki sir zamin yousuf ka qadam jama diya kay hum ussay khuwab ki tabeer ka kuch ilm sikha den. Allah apney iraday per ghalib hai lekin aksar log bey ilm hotay hain.
और अहले-मिस्र में से जिस शख़्स ने उसको ख़रीदा उसने अपनी बीवी से कहा कि उसको अच्छी तरह रखो, उम्मीद है कि वह हमारे लिए मुफ़ीद हो या हम उसको बेटा बना लें, और इस तरह हमने यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) को उस मुल्क में जगह दी और ताकि हम उसको बातों की तावील सिखाएं, और अल्लाह अपने काम पर ग़ालिब रहता है लेकिन अकसर लोग नहीं जानते।
And when Joseph reached maturity, We gave him judgment and knowledge. And thus We reward the doers of good.
Aur jab ( yousuf ) pukhtagi ki umar ko phonch gaye hum ney ussay qooat-e-faisla aur ilm diya hum neko karon ko issi tarah badla detay hain.
और जब वह अपनी भरपूर जवानी को पहुँचा तो हमने उसको हुक्म और इल्म अता किया, और नेकी करने वालों को हम ऐसा ही बदला देते हैं।
And thus We established Joseph in the land to settle therein wherever he willed. We touch with Our mercy whom We will, and We do not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.
Issi tarah hum ney yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) ko mulk ka qabza dey diya. Kay woh jahan kahin chahaiye rahey sahey hum jisay chahayen apni rehmat phoncha detay hain. Hum neko kaaron ka sawab zaya nahi kertay.
और इस तरह हमने यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) को मुल्क में बा-इख़्तियार बना दिया, वह उसमें जहाँ चाहे जगह बनाए, हम जिस पर चाहें अपनी इनायत मुतवज्जह कर दें और हम नेकी करने वालों का अज्र ज़ाया नहीं करते।
And thus We have revealed it as an Arabic legislation. And if you should follow their inclinations after what has come to you of knowledge, you would not have against Allah any ally or any protector.
Issi tarah hum ney iss quran ko arabi zaban ka farman utara hai. Agar app ney inn ki khuwaishon ki pairwi kerli iss kay baad kay aap kay pass ilm aa chuka hai to Allah ( kay azabon ) say aap ko koi himayati milay ga aur na bachaney wala.
और इसी तरह हमने इसको एक हकम की हैसियत से अरबी में उतारा है, और अगर आप उनकी ख़्वाहिशों की पैरवी करो बाद इसके कि आपके पास इल्म आ चुका है तो अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में आपका न कोई मददगार होगा और न कोई बचाने वाला।
And similarly, We awakened them that they might question one another. Said a speaker from among them, "How long have you remained [here]?" They said, "We have remained a day or part of a day." They said, "Your Lord is most knowing of how long you remained. So send one of you with this silver coin of yours to the city and let him look to which is the best of food and bring you provision from it and let him be cautious. And let no one be aware of you.
Issi tarah hum ney unhen jaga ker utha diya kay aapas meinpooch gooch kerlen. Aik kehney walay ney kaha kay kiyon bhaee tum kitney dair thehray rahey? Unhon ney jawab diya kay aik din ya aik din say bhi kum. Kehney lagay kay tumharay thehray rehney ka ilm ba-khoobi Allah Taalaa hi ko hai. Abb to tum apney mein say kissi ko apni yeh chandi dey ker shehar bhejo woh khoob dekh bhaal ley kay shehar ka kaun say khana pakeeza tar hai phir ussi mein say tumharay liye khaney kay liye ley aaye aur boht ehtiyat aur narmi barttay aur kissi ko tumhari khabar na honey dey.
और इसी तरह हम ने उन्हें उठा खड़ा किया कि वे आपस में पूछताछ करें। उन में एक कहने वाले ने कहा, "तुम कितना ठहरे रहे?" वे बोले, "हम यही कोई एक दिन या एक दिन से भी कम ठहरें होंगे।" उन्होंने कहा, "जितना तुम यहाँ ठहरे हो उसे तुम्हारा रब ही भली-भाँति जानता है। अब अपने में से किसी को यह चाँदी का सिक्का देकर नगर की ओर भेजो। फिर वह देख ले कि उस में सबसे अच्छा खाना किस जगह मिलता है। तो उस में से वह तुम्हारे लिए कुछ खाने को ले आए और चाहिए की वह नरमी और होशियारी से काम ले और किसी को तुम्हारी ख़बर न होने दे
And similarly, We caused them to be found that they [who found them] would know that the promise of Allah is truth and that of the Hour there is no doubt. [That was] when they disputed among themselves about their affair and [then] said, "Construct over them a structure. Their Lord is most knowing about them." Said those who prevailed in the matter, "We will surely take [for ourselves] over them a masjid."
Hum ney iss tarah logon ko unn kay haal say aagah ker diya kay woh jaan len kay Allah ka wada bilkul sacha hai aur qayamat mein koi shuba nahi. Jabkay woh apney amar mein aapas mein ikhtilaf ker rahey thay kehney lagay inn kay ghaar per aik emaarat bana lo. Unn ka rab hi unn kay haal ka ziyada aalim hai. Jin logon ney unn kay baray mein ghalba paya woh kehney lagay kay hum to inn kay aas pass masjod bana len gay.
इस तरह हम ने लोगों को उन की सूचना दे दी, ताकि वे जान लें कि अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है और यह कि क़ियामत की घड़ी में कोई सन्देह नहीं है। वह समय भी उल्लेखनीय है जब वे आपस में उन के मामले में छीन-झपट कर रहे थे। फिर उन्होंने कहा, "उन पर एक भवन बना दे। उन का रब उन्हें भली-भाँति जानता है।" और जो लोग उन के मामले में प्रभावी रहे उन्होंने कहा, "हम तो उन पर अवश्य एक उपासना गृह बनाएँगे।"
He said, "I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful [of dust] from the track of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul entice me."
Uss ney jawab diya kay mujhay woh cheez dikhaee di jo enhen dikhaee na di to mein ney farstada-e-elahee kay naqsh-e-qadam say aik muthi bhar li ussay iss mein daal diya issi tarah meray dil ney yeh baat meray liye bhali bana di.
उस ने कहा, "मुझे उस की सूझ प्राप्त हुई, जिस की सूझ उन्हें प्राप्त न हुई। फिर मैंने रसूल के पद-चिन्ह से एक मुट्ठी उठा ली। फिर उसे डाल दिया और मेरे जी ने मुझे कुछ ऐसा ही सुझाया।"
And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance.
Issi tarah hum ney tujh per arabi quran nazil farmaya hai aur tarah tarah say iss mein darr ka biyan sunaya hai takay log perhezgaar bann jayen ya inn kay dil mein soch samajh to peda keray.
और इस प्रकार हम ने इसे अरबी क़ुरआन के रूप में अवतरित किया है और हम ने इसमें तरह-तरह से चेतावनी दी है, ताकि वे डर रखें या यह उन्हें होश दिलाए
[ Allah ] will say, "Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten."
( jawab milay ga kay ) issi tarah hona chahye tha tu meri aaee hui aayaton ko bhool gaya to aaj tu bhi bhula diya jata hai.
वह कहेगा, "इसी प्रकार (तू संसार में अंधा रहा था) । तेरे पास मेरी आयतें आई थी, तो तूने उन्हें भूला दिया था। उसी प्रकार आज तुझे भुलाया जा रहा है।"
And thus do We recompense he who transgressed and did not believe in the signs of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more enduring.
Hum aisa hi badla her uss shaks ko diya kertay hain jo hadd say guzar jaye aur apney rab ki aayaton per eman na laye aur be-shak aakhirat ka azab nihayat hi sakht aur baqi rehney wala hai.
इसी प्रकार हम उसे बदला देते हैं जो मर्यादा का उल्लंघन करे और अपने रब की आयतों पर ईमान न लाए। और आख़िरत की यातना तो अत्यन्त कठोर और अधिक स्थायी है
So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.
To hum ney uss ki pukar sunn li aur ussay ghum say nijat dey di aur hum eman walon ko issi tarah bacha liya kertay hain.
तब हम ने उस की प्रार्थना स्वीकार की और उसे ग़म से छुटकारा दिया। इसी प्रकार तो हम मोमिनों को छुटकारा दिया करते हैं
And thus have We sent the Qur'an down as verses of clear evidence and because Allah guides whom He intends.
Hum ney issi tarah iss quran ko wazeh aayaton mein utara hai. Jissay Allah chahaye hidayat naseeb farmata hai.
इसी प्रकार हम ने इस (क़ुरआन) को स्पष्ट आयतों के रूप में अवतरित किया। और बात यह है कि अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है मार्ग दिखाता है
And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper.
Aur iss tarah hum ney her nabi kay dushman baaz gunehgaron ko bana diya hai. Aur tera rab hi hidayat kerney wala aur madad kerney wala kafi hai.
और इसी तरह हम ने अपराधियों में से प्रत्यॆक नबी के लिये शत्रु बनाया। मार्गदर्शन और सहायता कॆ लिए तॊ तुम्हारा रब ही काफ़ी है।
She said, "Indeed kings - when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled. And thus do they do.
Uss ney kaha badshah jab kissi basti mein ghustay hain to ussay ujaar detay hain aur wahan kay ba-izzat logon ko zaleel ker detay hain. Aur yeh log bhi aisa hi keren gay.
उस ने कहा, "सम्राट जब किसी बस्ती में प्रवेश करते हैं, तो उसे ख़राब कर देते हैं और वहाँ के प्रभावशाली लोगों को अपमानित करके रहते हैं। और वे ऐसा ही करेंगे
And when he attained his full strength and was [mentally] mature, We bestowed upon him judgement and knowledge. And thus do We reward the doers of good.
Aur jab musa ( alh-e-salam ) apni jawani ko phonch gaye aur pooray tawana hogaye hum ney unhen hikmat-o-ilm ata farmaya neki kerney walon ko hum issi tarah badla diya kertay hain.
और जब वह अपनी जवानी को पहुँचा और भरपूर हो गया, तो हम ने उसे निर्णय-शक्ति और ज्ञान प्रदान किया। और सुकर्मी लोगों को हम इसी प्रकार बदला देते हैं
And thus We have sent down to you the Qur'an. And those to whom We [previously] gave the Scripture believe in it. And among these [people of Makkah] are those who believe in it. And none reject Our verses except the disbelievers.
Aur hum ney issi tarah aap ki taraf apni kitab nazil farmaee hai pus jinhen hum ney kitab di hai woh iss per eman latay hain aur inn ( mushrikeen ) mein say baaz iss per eman rakhtay hain aur humari aayaton ka inkar sirf kafir hi kertay hain.
इसी प्रकार हम ने तुम्हारी ओर किताब अवतरित की है, तो जिन्हें हम ने किताब प्रदान की है वे उस पर ईमान लाएँगे। उन में से कुछ उस पर ईमान ला भी रहे हैं। हमारी आयतों का इनकार तो केवल न मानने वाले ही करते हैं
He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out.
( wohi ) zinda ko murda say aur murda ko zinda say nikalta hai. Aur wohi zamin ko uss ki maut kay baad zinda kerta hai issi tarah tum ( bhi ) nikalay jao gay.
वह जीवित को मृत से निकालता है और मृत को जीवित से, और धरती को उस की मृत्यु के पश्चात जीवन प्रदान करता है। इसी प्रकार तुम भी निकाले जाओगे
And thus has the word of your Lord come into effect upon those who disbelieved that they are companions of the Fire.
Aur issi tarah aap kay rab ka hukum kafiron per sabit hogaya kay woh dozakhi hain.
और (जैसे दुनिया में सज़ा मिली) उसी प्रकार तेरे रब की यह बात भी उन लोगों पर सत्यापित हो गई है, जिन्होंने इनकार किया कि वे आग में पड़ने वाले हैं;
The ways into the heavens - so that I may look at the deity of Moses; but indeed, I think he is a liar." And thus was made attractive to Pharaoh the evil of his deed, and he was averted from the [right] way. And the plan of Pharaoh was not except in ruin.
( unn ) darwazon tak phonch jaon aur musa kay mabood ko jhaank loon aur be-shak mein samjhta hun woh jhoota hai aur issi tarah firaon ki bad-kirdariyan ussay bhali dikhaee gaeen aur raah say rok diya gaya aur firaon ki ( her ) heela saazi tabahee mein hi rahee.
आकाशों के साधनों (और क्षत्रों) तक। फिर मूसा के पूज्य को झाँककर देखूँ। मैं तो उसे झूठा ही समझता हूँ।" इस प्रकार फ़िरऔन के लिए उस का दुष्कर्म सुहाना बना दिया गया और उसे मार्ग से रोक दिया गया। फ़िरऔन की चाल तो बस तबाही के सिलसिले में रही
And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur'an that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze.
Issi tarah hum ney aap ki taraf arabi quran ki wahee ki hai takay aap makkah walon ko aur uss kay aas pass logon ko khabardar ker den aur jama honey kay din say jiss kay aanay mein koi shak nahi dara den. Aik giroh jannat mein hoga aur aik giroh jahannum mein hoga.
और (जैसे हम स्पष्ट आयतें उतारते हैं) उसी प्रकार हम ने तुम्हारी ओर एक अरबी क़ुरआन की प्रकाशना की है, ताकि तुम बस्तियों के केन्द्र (मक्का) को और जो लोग उस के चतुर्दिक हैं उन को सचेत कर दो और सचेत करो इकट्ठा होने के दिन से, जिस में कोई सन्देह नहीं। एक गिरोह जन्नत में होगा और एक गिरोह भड़कती आग में
And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -
Aur iss tarah hum ney aap ki taraf apnay hukum say rooh ko utara hai aap iss say pehlay yeh bhi nahi jantay thay kay kitab aur eman kiya cheez hai? Lekin hum nay issay noor banaya iss kay zariyey say apnay bandon mein say jissay chahatay hain hidayat detay hain be-shak aap raah-e-raast ki rehnumaee ker rahey hain.
और इसी प्रकार हम ने अपने आदेश से एक रूह (क़ुरआन) की प्रकाशना तुम्हारी ओर की है। तुम नहीं जानते थे कि किताब क्या होती है और न ईमान को (जानते थे), किन्तु हम ने इस (प्रकाशना) को एक प्रकाश बनाया, जिस के द्वारा हम अपने बन्दों में से जिसे चाहते हैं मार्ग दिखाते हैं। निश्चय ही तुम एक सीधे मार्ग की ओर पथप्रदर्शन कर रहे हो-
And similarly, We did not send before you any warner into a city except that its affluent said, "Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are, in their footsteps, following."
Issi tarah aap say pehlay bhi hum ney jiss basti mein koi daraney wala bheja wahan kay aasoodah haal logon ney yehi jawab diya kay hum ney apnay baap dada ko ( aik raah per aur ) aik deen per paya aur hum ney inhi kay naqsh-e-paa lo perwi kerney walay hain.
इसी प्रकार हम ने जिस किसी बस्ती में तुम से पहले कोई सावधान करने वाला भेजा तो वहाँ के सम्पन्न लोगों ने बस यही कहा कि "हम ने तो अपने बाप-दादा को एक तरीक़े पर पाया और हम उन्हीं के पद-चिन्हों पर हैं, उन का अनुसरण कर रहे हैं।"
