الفاظ ( اللّٰهِ )

پیچھے رہ جانے والے لوگ رسول اللہ ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) کے جانے کے بعد اپنے بیٹھے رہنے پر خوش ہیں انہوں نے اللہ کی راہ میں اپنے مال اور اپنی جانوں سے جہاد کرنا نا پسند رکھا اور انہوں نے کہہ دیا کہ اس گرمی میں مت نکلو ۔ کہہ دیجئے کہ دوزخ کی آگ بہت ہی سخت گرم ہے کاش کہ وہ سمجھتے ہوتے ۔

Those who remained behind rejoiced in their staying [at home] after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah and disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah and said, 'Do not go forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is more intensive in heat" - if they would but understand.

پیچھے رہ جانے والے لوگ رسول اللہ ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) کے جانے کے بعد اپنے بیٹھے رہنے پر خوش ہیں انہوں نے اللہ کی راہ میں اپنے مال اور اپنی جانوں سے جہاد کرنا نا پسند رکھا اور انہوں نے کہہ دیا کہ اس گرمی میں مت نکلو ۔ کہہ دیجئے کہ دوزخ کی آگ بہت ہی سخت گرم ہے کاش کہ وہ سمجھتے ہوتے ۔

Those who remained behind rejoiced in their staying [at home] after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah and disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah and said, 'Do not go forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is more intensive in heat" - if they would but understand.

اور بعض اہل دیہات میں ایسے بھی ہیں جو اللہ تعالٰی پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور جو کچھ خرچ کرتے ہیں اس کو عند اللہ قرب حاصل ہونے کا ذریعہ اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی دعا کا ذریعہ بناتے ہیں ۔ یاد رکھو کہ ان کا یہ خرچ کرنا بیشک ان کے لئے موجب قربت ہے ، ان کو اللہ تعالٰی ضرور اپنی رحمت میں داخل کرے گا اللہ تعالٰی بڑی مغفرت والا بڑی رحمت والا ہے ۔

But among the bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of [obtaining] invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اور کچھ اور لوگ ہیں جن کا معاملہ اللہ کا حکم آنے تک ملتوی ہے ان کو سزا دے گا یا ان کی توبہ قبول کر لے گا ، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑا حکمت والا ہے ۔

And [there are] others deferred until the command of Allah - whether He will punish them or whether He will forgive them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

پھر آیا ایسا شخص بہتر ہے جس نے اپنی عمارت کی بنیاد اللہ سے ڈرنے پر اور اللہ کی خوشنودی پر رکھی ہو یا وہ شخص کہ جس نے اپنی عمارت کی بنیاد کسی گھاٹی کے کنارے پر جو کہ گرنے ہی کو ہو ، رکھی ہو پھر وہ اس کو لے کر آتش دوزخ میں گر پڑے اور اللہ تعالٰی ایسے ظالموں کو سمجھ ہی نہیں دیتا ۔

Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better or one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

بلا شبہ اللہ تعالٰی نے مسلمانوں سے ان کی جانوں کو اور ان کے مالوں کو اس بات کے عوض خرید لیا ہے کہ ان کو جنت ملے گی وہ لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں جس میں قتل کرتے ہیں اور قتل کئے جاتے ہیں اس پر سچا وعدہ کیا گیا ہے تورات میں اور انجیل میں اور قرآن میں اور اللہ سے زیادہ اپنے عہد کو کون پورا کرنے والا ہے تو تم لوگ اس بیع پر جس کا تم نے معاملہ ٹھہرایا ہے خوشی مناؤ اور یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔

Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.

بلا شبہ اللہ تعالٰی نے مسلمانوں سے ان کی جانوں کو اور ان کے مالوں کو اس بات کے عوض خرید لیا ہے کہ ان کو جنت ملے گی وہ لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں جس میں قتل کرتے ہیں اور قتل کئے جاتے ہیں اس پر سچا وعدہ کیا گیا ہے تورات میں اور انجیل میں اور قرآن میں اور اللہ سے زیادہ اپنے عہد کو کون پورا کرنے والا ہے تو تم لوگ اس بیع پر جس کا تم نے معاملہ ٹھہرایا ہے خوشی مناؤ اور یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔

Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.

وہ ایسے ہیں جو توبہ کرنے والے عبادت کرنے والے ، حمد کرنے والے روزہ رکھنے والے ( یا راہ حق میں سفر کرنے والے ) رکوع اور سجدہ کرنے والے نیک باتوں کی تعلیم کرنے والے اور بری باتوں سے باز رکھنے والے اور اللہ کی حدوں کا خیال رکھنے والے اور ایسے مومنین کو آپ خوشخبری سنا دیجئے ۔

[Such believers are] the repentant, the worshippers, the praisers [of Allah ], the travelers [for His cause], those who bow and prostrate [in prayer], those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allah . And give good tidings to the believers.

بلا شبہ اللہ ہی کی سلطنت ہے آسمانوں اور زمین میں وہی جلاتا اور مارتا ہے ، اور تمہارا اللہ کے سوا نہ کوئی یار ہے اور نہ کوئی مددگار ۔

Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.

اور تین شخصوں کے حال پر بھی جن کا معاملہ ملتوی چھوڑ دیا گیا تھا یہاں تک کہ جب زمین باوجود اپنی فراخی کے ان پر تنگ ہونے لگی اور وہ خود اپنی جان سے تنگ آگئے اور انہوں نے سمجھ لیا کہ اللہ سے کہیں پناہ نہیں مل سکتی بجز اس کے کہ اسی کی طرف رجوع کیا جائے پھر ان کے حال پر توجہ فرمائی تاکہ وہ آئندہ بھی توبہ کر سکیں بیشک اللہ تعالٰی بہت توبہ قبول کرنے والا بڑا رحم والا ہے ۔

And [He also forgave] the three who were left behind [and regretted their error] to the point that the earth closed in on them in spite of its vastness and their souls confined them and they were certain that there is no refuge from Allah except in Him. Then He turned to them so they could repent. Indeed, Allah is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

مدینہ کے رہنے والوں کو اور جو دیہاتی ان کے گردو پیش ہیں ان کو یہ زیبا نہیں تھا کہ رسول اللہ کو چھوڑ کر پیچھے رہ جائیں اور نہ یہ کہ اپنی جان کو ان کی جان سے عزیز سمجھیں ، یہ اس سبب سے کہ ان کو اللہ کی راہ میں جو پیاس لگی اور جو تھکان پہنچی اور جو بھوک لگی اور جو کسی ایسی جگہ چلے جو کفار کے لئے موجب غیظ ہوا ہو اور دشمنوں کی جو خبر لی ان سب پر ان کے نام ( ایک ایک ) نیک کام لکھا گیا ۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی مخلصین کا اجر ضائع نہیں کرتا ۔

It was not [proper] for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah , nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good.

مدینہ کے رہنے والوں کو اور جو دیہاتی ان کے گردو پیش ہیں ان کو یہ زیبا نہیں تھا کہ رسول اللہ کو چھوڑ کر پیچھے رہ جائیں اور نہ یہ کہ اپنی جان کو ان کی جان سے عزیز سمجھیں ، یہ اس سبب سے کہ ان کو اللہ کی راہ میں جو پیاس لگی اور جو تھکان پہنچی اور جو بھوک لگی اور جو کسی ایسی جگہ چلے جو کفار کے لئے موجب غیظ ہوا ہو اور دشمنوں کی جو خبر لی ان سب پر ان کے نام ( ایک ایک ) نیک کام لکھا گیا ۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی مخلصین کا اجر ضائع نہیں کرتا ۔

It was not [proper] for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah , nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good.

شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔

In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

تم سب کو اللہ ہی کے پاس جانا ہے اللہ نے سچا وعدہ کر رکھا ہے بیشک وہی پہلی بار بھی پیدا کرتا ہے پھر وہی دوبارہ بھی پیدا کرے گا تاکہ ایسے لوگوں کو جو کہ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک کام کئے انصاف کے ساتھ جزا دے اور جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا ان کے واسطے کھولتا ہوا پانی پینے کو ملے گا اور دردناک عذاب ہوگا ان کے کفر کی وجہ سے ۔

To Him is your return all together. [It is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. Indeed, He begins the [process of] creation and then repeats it that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds, in justice. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny.

سو اس شخص سے زیادہ کون ظالم ہوگا جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے یا اس کی آیتوں کو جھوٹا بتلائے یقیناً ایسے مجرموں کو اصلاً فلاح نہ ہوگی ۔

So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed

اور یہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا ایسی چیزوں کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو نہ ان کو ضرر پہنچا سکیں اور نہ ان کو نفع پہنچا سکیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ یہ اللہ کے پاس ہمارے سفارشی ہیں ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ کیا تم اللہ کو ایسی چیز کی خبر دیتے ہو جو اللہ تعالٰی کو معلوم نہیں ، نہ آسمانوں میں اور نہ زمین میں وہ پاک اور برتر ہے ان لوگوں کے شرک سے ۔

And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah " Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him

اور یہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا ایسی چیزوں کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو نہ ان کو ضرر پہنچا سکیں اور نہ ان کو نفع پہنچا سکیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ یہ اللہ کے پاس ہمارے سفارشی ہیں ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ کیا تم اللہ کو ایسی چیز کی خبر دیتے ہو جو اللہ تعالٰی کو معلوم نہیں ، نہ آسمانوں میں اور نہ زمین میں وہ پاک اور برتر ہے ان لوگوں کے شرک سے ۔

And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah " Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him

اور جن لوگوں نے بد کام کئے ان کی بدی کی سزا اس کے برابر ملے گی اور ان کو ذلت چھائے گی ان کو اللہ تعالٰی سے کوئی نہ بچا سکے گا گویا ان کے چہروں پر اندھیری رات کے پرت کے پرت لپیٹ دیئے گئے ۔ ہیں یہ لوگ دوزخ میں رہنے والے ہیں ، اور وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے ۔

But they who have earned [blame for] evil doings - the recompense of an evil deed is its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them. They will have from Allah no protector. It will be as if their faces are covered with pieces of the night - so dark [are they]. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

اس مقام پر ہر شخص اپنے اگلے کئے ہوئے کاموں کی جانچ کر لے گا اور یہ لوگ اللہ کی طرف جو ان کا مالک حقیقی ہے لوٹائے جائیں گے اور جو کچھ جھوٹ باندھا کرتے تھے سب ان سے غائب ہوجائیں گے ۔

There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allah , their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent.

اور یہ قرآن ایسا نہیں ہے کہ اللہ ( کی وحی ) کے بغیر ( اپنے ہی سے ) گھڑ لیا گیا ہو ۔ بلکہ یہ تو ( ان کتابوں کی ) تصدیق کرنے والا ہے جو اس کے قبل نازل ہو چکی ہیں اور کتاب ( احکام ضروریہ ) کی تفصیل بیان کرنے والا ہے اس میں کوئی بات شک کی نہیں کہ رب العالمین کی طرف سے ہے ۔

And it was not [possible] for this Qur'an to be produced by other than Allah , but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.

کیا یہ لوگ یوں کہتے ہیں کہ آپ نے اس کو گھڑ لیا ہے؟ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ تو پھر تم اس کے مثل ایک ہی سورت لاؤ اور جن جن غیر اللہ کو بلا سکو ، بلا لو اگر تم سچے ہو ۔

Or do they say [about the Prophet], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a surah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah , if you should be truthful."

اور ان کو وہ دن یاد دلایئے جس میں اللہ ان کو ( اپنے حضور ) جمع کرے گا ( تو ان کو ایسا محسوس ہوگا ) کہ گویا وہ ( دنیا میں ) سارے دن کی ایک آدھ گھڑی رہے ہونگے اور آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو پہچاننے کو ٹھہرے ہوں ۔ و اقعی خسارے میں پڑے وہ لوگ جنہوں نے اللہ کے پاس جانے کو جھٹلایا اور وہ ہدایت پانے والے نہ تھے ۔

And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided

یاد رکھو کہ جتنی چیزیں آسمانوں میں اور زمین میں ہیں سب اللہ ہی کی ملک ہیں ۔ یاد رکھو کہ اللہ تعالٰی کا وعدہ سچا ہے ۔ لیکن بہت سے آدمی علم ہی نہیں رکھتے ۔

Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ بس لوگوں کو اللہ کے اس انعام اور رحمت پر خوش ہونا چاہیے وہ اس سے بدرجہا بہتر ہے جس کو وہ جمع کر رہے ہیں ۔

Say, "In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate."

آپ کہیے کہ یہ تو بتاؤ کہ اللہ نے تمہارے لئے جو کچھ رزق بھیجا تھا پھر تم نے اس کا کچھ حصہ حرام اور کچھ حلال قرار دے لیا آپ پوچھئے کہ کیا تم کو اللہ نے حکم دیا تھا یا اللہ پر افترا ہی کرتے ہو؟

Say, "Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?" Say, "Has Allah permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about Allah ?"

اور جو لوگ اللہ پر جھوٹ افترا باندھتے ہیں ان کا قیامت کی نسبت کیا گمان ہے ؟ واقعی لوگوں پر اللہ تعالٰی کا بڑا ہی فضل ہے لیکن اکثر آدمی شکر نہیں کرتے ۔

And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of them are not grateful."

یاد رکھو اللہ کے دوستوں پر نہ کوئی اندیشہ ہے اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوتے ہیں ۔

Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve

ان کے لئے دنیاوی زندگی میں بھی اور آخرت میں بھی خوشخبری ہے اللہ تعالٰی کی باتوں میں کچھ فرق ہوا نہیں کرتا ۔ یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔

For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah . That is what is the great attainment.

یاد رکھو جتنے کچھ آسمانوں میں ہیں اور جتنے زمین میں ہیں یہ سب اللہ ہی کے ہیں اور جو لوگ اللہ کو چھوڑ کر دوسرے شرکاء کی عبادت کر رہے ہیں کس چیز کی اتباع کر رہے ہیں محض بے سندخیال کی اتباع کررہے ہیں اور محض اٹکلیں لگا رہے ہیں ۔

Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth. And those who invoke other than Allah do not [actually] follow [His] "partners." They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying

وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ اولاد رکھتا ہے ۔ سبحان اللہ! وہ تو کسی کا محتاج نہیں اس کی ملکیت ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے ۔ تمہارے پاس اس پر کوئی دلیل نہیں ۔ کیا اللہ کے ذمہ ایسی بات لگاتے ہو جس کا تم علم نہیں رکھتے ۔

They have said, " Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ جو لوگ اللہ پر جھوٹ افترا کرتے ہیں وہ کامیاب نہ ہونگے ۔

Say, "Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed."

اور آپ ان کو نوح ( علیہ السلام ) کا قصہ پڑھ کر سنائیے جب کہ انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے فرمایا کہ اے میری قوم! اگر تم کو میرا رہنا اور احکام الٰہی کی نصیحت کرنا بھاری معلوم ہوتا ہے تو میرا تو اللہ ہی پربھروسہ ہے تم اپنی تدبیر مع اپنے شرکا کے پختہ کر لو پھر تمہاری تدبیر تمہاری گھٹن کا باعث نہ ہونی چاہیئے پھر میرے ساتھ کر گزرو اور مجھ کو مہلت نہ دو ۔

And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my residence and my reminding of the signs of Allah has become burdensome upon you - then I have relied upon Allah . So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite.

اور آپ ان کو نوح ( علیہ السلام ) کا قصہ پڑھ کر سنائیے جب کہ انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے فرمایا کہ اے میری قوم! اگر تم کو میرا رہنا اور احکام الٰہی کی نصیحت کرنا بھاری معلوم ہوتا ہے تو میرا تو اللہ ہی پربھروسہ ہے تم اپنی تدبیر مع اپنے شرکا کے پختہ کر لو پھر تمہاری تدبیر تمہاری گھٹن کا باعث نہ ہونی چاہیئے پھر میرے ساتھ کر گزرو اور مجھ کو مہلت نہ دو ۔

And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my residence and my reminding of the signs of Allah has become burdensome upon you - then I have relied upon Allah . So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite.

پھر بھی اگر تم اعراض ہی کئے جاؤ تو میں نے تم سے کوئی معاوضہ تو نہیں مانگا میرا معاوضہ تو صرف اللہ ہی کے ذمہ ہے اور مجھ کو حکم کیا گیا ہے کہ میں مسلمانوں میں سے رہوں ۔

And if you turn away [from my advice] then no payment have I asked of you. My reward is only from Allah , and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims."

انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ ہم نے اللہ ہی پر توکل کیا ، اے ہمارے پروردگار! ہم کو ان ظالموں کیلئے فتنہ نہ بنا ۔

So they said, "Upon Allah do we rely. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people

اور نہ ان لوگوں میں سے ہوں جنہوں نے اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں کو جھٹلایا کہیں آپ خسارہ پانے والوں میں سے نہ ہوجائیں ۔

And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers.

حالانکہ کسی شخص کا ایمان لانا اللہ کے حکم کے بغیر ممکن نہیں ۔ اور اللہ تعالٰی بے عقل لوگوں پر گندگی ڈال دیتا ہے ۔

And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah , and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اے لوگو! اگر تم میرے دین کی طرف سے شک میں ہو تو میں ان معبودوں کی عبادت نہیں کرتا جن کی تم اللہ کو چھوڑ کر عبادت کرتے ہو لیکن ہاں اس اللہ کی عبادت کرتا ہوں جو تمہاری جان قبض کرتا ہے اور مجھ کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ میں ایمان لانے والوں میں سے ہوں ۔

Say, [O Muhammad], "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion - then I do not worship those which you worship besides Allah ; but I worship Allah , who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believers

اور اللہ کو چھوڑ کر ایسی چیز کی عبادت مت کرنا جو تجھ کو نہ نفع پہنچا سکے اور نہ کوئی ضرر پہنچا سکے ، پھر اگر ایسا کیا تو تم اس حالت میں ظالموں میں سے ہو جاؤ گے ۔

And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers.'"

شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔

In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

تم کو اللہ ہی کے پاس جانا ہے اور وہ ہر شے پر پوری قدرت رکھتا ہے ۔

To Allah is your return, and He is over all things competent."

زمین پر چلنے پھرنے والے جتنے جاندار ہیں سب کی روزیاں اللہ تعالٰی پر ہیں وہی ان کے رہنے سہنے کی جگہ کو جانتا ہے اور ان کے سونپے جانے کی جگہ کو بھی ، سب کچھ واضح کتاب میں موجود ہے ۔

And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage. All is in a clear register.

کیا یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس قرآن کو اسی نے گھڑا ہے ۔ جواب دیجئے کہ پھر تم بھی اسی کے مثل دس سورتیں گھڑی ہوئی لے آؤ اور اللہ کے سوا جسے چاہو اپنے ساتھ بلا بھی لو اگر تم سچے ہو ۔

Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah , if you should be truthful."

پھر اگر وہ تمہاری اس بات کو قبول نہ کریں تو تم یقین سے جان لو کہ یہ قرآن اللہ کے علم کے ساتھ اتارا گیا ہے اور یہ کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ، پس کیا تم مسلمان ہوتے ہو؟

And if they do not respond to you - then know that the Qur'an was revealed with the knowledge of Allah and that there is no deity except Him. Then, would you [not] be Muslims?

اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے یہ لوگ اپنے پروردگار کے سامنے پیش کیے جائیں گے اور سارے گواہ کہیں گے کہ یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے پروردگار پر جھوٹ باندھا خبردار ہو کہ اللہ کی لعنت ہے ظالموں پر ۔

And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah ? Those will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord." Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.

اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے یہ لوگ اپنے پروردگار کے سامنے پیش کیے جائیں گے اور سارے گواہ کہیں گے کہ یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے پروردگار پر جھوٹ باندھا خبردار ہو کہ اللہ کی لعنت ہے ظالموں پر ۔

And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah ? Those will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord." Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.

جو اللہ کی راہ سے روکتے ہیں اور اس میں کجی تلاش کر لیتے ہیں یہی آخرت کے منکر ہیں ۔

Who averted [people] from the way of Allah and sought to make it [seem] deviant while they, concerning the Hereafter, were disbelievers.

نہ یہ لوگ دنیا میں اللہ کو ہراسکے اور نہ ان کا کوئی حمائتی اللہ کے سوا ہوا ، ان کے لئے عذاب دگنا کیا جائے گا نہ یہ سننے کی طاقت رکھتے تھے اور نہ دیکھتے ہی تھے ۔

Those were not causing failure [to Allah ] on earth, nor did they have besides Allah any protectors. For them the punishment will be multiplied. They were not able to hear, nor did they see.

میری قوم والو! میں تم سے اس پر کوئی مال نہیں مانگتا میرا ثواب تو صرف اللہ تعالٰی کے ہاں ہے نہ میں ایمان والوں کو اپنے پاس سے نکال سکتا ہوں انہیں اپنے رب سے ملنا ہے لیکن میں دیکھتا ہوں کہ تم لوگ جہالت کر رہے ہو ۔

And O my people, I ask not of you for it any wealth. My reward is not but from Allah . And I am not one to drive away those who have believed. Indeed, they will meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people behaving ignorantly.

میری قوم کے لوگو! اگر میں ان مومنوں کو اپنے پاس سے نکال دوں تو اللہ کے مقابلے میں میری مدد کون کر سکتا ہے ؟ کیا تم کچھ بھی نصیحت نہیں پکڑتے ۔

And O my people, who would protect me from Allah if I drove them away? Then will you not be reminded?
