الفاظ ( الَّذِيْنَ )

سوائے ان کے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کئے اور بکثرت اللہ تعالٰی کا ذکر کیا اور اپنی مظلومی کے بعد انتقام لیا جنہوں نے ظلم کیا ہے وہ بھی ابھی جان لیں گے کہ کس کروٹ الٹتے ہیں ۔

Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned.

جو نماز قائم کرتے ہیں اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرتے ہیں اور آخرت پر یقین رکھتے ہیں ۔

Who establish prayer and give zakah, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

جو لوگ قیامت پر ایمان نہیں لاتے ہم نے انہیں ان کے کرتوت زینت دار کر دکھائے ہیں پس وہ بھٹکتے پھرتے ہیں ۔

Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly.

یہی لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے بُرا عذاب ہے اور آخرت میں بھی وہ سخت نقصان یافتہ ہیں ۔

Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers.

حکم دیا کہ اس تخت میں کچھ پھیر بدل کر دو تاکہ معلوم ہو جائے کہ یہ راہ پالیتی ہے یا ان میں سے ہوتی ہے جو راہ نہیں پاتے ۔

He said, "Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided [to truth] or will be of those who is not guided."

ہم نے ان کو جو ایمان لائے تھے اور پرہیزگار تھے بال بال بچالیا ۔

And We saved those who believed and used to fear Allah .

تو کہہ دے کہ تمام تعریف اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے اور اس کے برگزیدہ بندوں پر سلام ہے کیا اللہ تعالٰی بہتر ہے یا وہ جنہیں یہ لوگ شریک ٹھہرا رہے ہیں ۔

Say, [O Muhammad], "Praise be to Allah , and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better or what they associate with Him?"

کافروں نے کہا کہ کیا جب ہم مٹی ہوجائیں گے اور ہمارے باپ دادا بھی ۔ کیا ہم پھر نکالے جائیں گے ۔

And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]?

پھر ہماری چاہت ہوئی کہ ہم ان پر کرم فرمائیں جنہیں زمین میں بیحد کمزور کر دیا گیا تھا ، اور ہم انہیں کو پیشوا اور ( زمین ) کا وارث بنائیں ۔

And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors

اور جس دن اللہ تعالٰی انہیں پکار کر فرمائے گا کہ تم جنہیں اپنے گمان میں میرا شریک ٹھہرا رہے تھے کہاں ہیں ۔

And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are My 'partners' which you used to claim?"

جن پر بات آچکی وہ جواب دیں گے کہ اے ہمارے پروردگار! یہی وہ ہیں جنہیں ہم نے بہکا رکھا تھا ہم نے انہیں اسی طرح بہکایا جس طرح ہم بہکے تھے ہم تیری سرکار میں اپنی دست برادری کرتے ہیں یہ ہماری عبادت نہیں کرتے تھے ۔

Those upon whom the word will have come into effect will say, "Our Lord, these are the ones we led to error. We led them to error just as we were in error. We declare our disassociation [from them] to You. They did not used to worship us."

جن پر بات آچکی وہ جواب دیں گے کہ اے ہمارے پروردگار! یہی وہ ہیں جنہیں ہم نے بہکا رکھا تھا ہم نے انہیں اسی طرح بہکایا جس طرح ہم بہکے تھے ہم تیری سرکار میں اپنی دست برادری کرتے ہیں یہ ہماری عبادت نہیں کرتے تھے ۔

Those upon whom the word will have come into effect will say, "Our Lord, these are the ones we led to error. We led them to error just as we were in error. We declare our disassociation [from them] to You. They did not used to worship us."

اور جس دن انہیں پکار کر اللہ تعالٰی فرمائے گا کہ جنہیں تم میرے شریک خیال کرتے تھے وہ کہاں ہیں؟

And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are my 'partners' which you used to claim?"

پس قارون پوری آرائش کے ساتھ اپنی قوم کے مجمع میں نکلا تو دنیاوی زندگی کے متوالے کہنے لگے کاش کہ ہمیں بھی کسی طرح وہ مل جاتا جو قارون کو دیا گیا ہے ۔ یہ تو بڑا ہی قسمت کا دھنی ہے ۔

So he came out before his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, "Oh, would that we had like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is one of great fortune."

ذی علم لوگ انہیں سمجھانے لگے کہ افسوس! بہتر چیز تو وہ ہے جو بطور ثواب انہیں ملے گی جو اللہ پر ایمان لائیں اور نیک عمل کریں یہ بات انہی کے دل میں ڈالی جاتی ہے جو صبر وسہارے والے ہوں ۔

But those who had been given knowledge said, "Woe to you! The reward of Allah is better for he who believes and does righteousness. And none are granted it except the patient."

اور جو لوگ کل اس کے مرتبہ پر پہنچنے کی آرزو مندیاں کر رہے تھے وہ آج کہنے لگے کہ کیا تم نہیں دیکھتے کہ اللہ تعالٰی ہی اپنے بندوں میں سے جس کے لئے چاہے روزی کشادہ کر دیتا ہے اور تنگ بھی؟ اگر اللہ تعالٰی ہم پر فضل نہ کرتا تو ہمیں بھی دھنسا دیتا کیا دیکھتے نہیں ہو کہ ناشکروں کو کبھی کامیابی نہیں ہوتی ۔

And those who had wished for his position the previous day began to say, "Oh, how Allah extends provision to whom He wills of His servants and restricts it! If not that Allah had conferred favor on us, He would have caused it to swallow us. Oh, how the disbelievers do not succeed!"

جو شخص نیکی لائے گا اسے اس سے بہتر ملے گا اور جو برائی لے کر آئے گا تو ایسے بد اعمالی کرنے والوں کو ان کے انہی اعمال کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا جو وہ کرتے تھے ۔

Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it; and whoever comes with an evil deed - then those who did evil deeds will not be recompensed except [as much as] what they used to do.

ان سے اگلوں کو بھی ہم نے خوب جانچا یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی انہیں بھی جان لے گا جو سچ کہتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی معلوم کر لے گا جو جھوٹے ہیں ۔

But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.

ان سے اگلوں کو بھی ہم نے خوب جانچا یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی انہیں بھی جان لے گا جو سچ کہتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی معلوم کر لے گا جو جھوٹے ہیں ۔

But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.

کیا جو لوگ برائیاں کر رہے ہیں انہوں نے یہ سمجھ رکھا ہے کہ وہ ہمارے قابو سے باہر ہوجائیں گے یہ لوگ کیسی بری تجویزیں کر رہے ہیں ۔

Or do those who do evil deeds think they can outrun Us? Evil is what they judge.

جو لوگ ایمان لائے اللہ انہیں بھی ظاہر کر کے رہے گا اور منافقوں کو بھی ظاہر کر کے رہے گا ۔

And Allah will surely make evident those who believe, and He will surely make evident the hypocrites.

کافروں نے ایمان والوں سے کہا کہ تم ہماری راہ کی تابعداری کرو تمہارے گناہ ہم اٹھا لیں گے حالانکہ وہ ان کے گناہوں میں سے کچھ بھی نہیں اٹھانے والے ، یہ تو محض جھوٹے ہیں ۔

And those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Follow our way, and we will carry your sins." But they will not carry anything of their sins. Indeed, they are liars.

تم تو اللہ تعا لٰی کے سوا بتوں کی پوجا پاٹ کر رہے ہو اور جھوٹی باتیں دل سے گھڑ لیتے ہو سنو! جن جنکی تم اللہ تعالٰی کے سوا پوجا پاٹ کر رہے ہو وہ تمہاری روزی کے مالک نہیں پس تمہیں چاہیے کہ تم اللہ تعالٰی ہی سے روزیاں طلب کرو اور اسی کی عبادت کرو اور اسی کی شکر گزاری کرو اور اسی کی طرف تم لوٹائے جاؤ گے ۔

You only worship, besides Allah , idols, and you produce a falsehood. Indeed, those you worship besides Allah do not possess for you [the power of] provision. So seek from Allah provision and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you will be returned."

جن لوگوں نے اللہ کے سوا اور کارساز مقرر کر رکھے ہیں ان کی مثال مکڑی کی سی ہے کہ وہ بھی ایک گھر بنا لیتی ہے ، حالانکہ تمام گھروں سے زیادہ بودا گھر مکڑی کا گھر ہی ہے کاش! وہ جان لیتے ۔

The example of those who take allies other than Allah is like that of the spider who takes a home. And indeed, the weakest of homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew.

اور اہل کتاب کے ساتھ بحث و مباحثہ نہ کرو مگر اس طریقہ پر جو عمدہ ہو مگر ان کے ساتھ جو ان میں ظالم ہیں اور صاف اعلان کردو کہ ہمارا تو اس کتاب پر بھی ایمان ہے جو ہم پر اتاری گئی اور اس پر بھی جو تم پر اتاری گئی ہمارا تمہارا معبود ایک ہی ہے ۔ ہم سب اسی کے حکم برادر ہیں ۔

And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."

بلکہ یہ قرآن تو روشن آیتیں ہیں اہل علم کے سینوں میں محفوظ ہیں ہماری آیتوں کا منکر بجز ظالموں کے اور کوئی نہیں ۔

Rather, the Qur'an is distinct verses [preserved] within the breasts of those who have been given knowledge. And none reject Our verses except the wrongdoers.

اے میرے ایمان والے بندو! میری زمین بہت کشادہ ہے سو تم میری ہی عبادت کرو ۔

O My servants who have believed, indeed My earth is spacious, so worship only Me.

وہ جنہوں نے صبر کیا اور اپنے رب تعالٰی پر بھروسہ رکھتے ہیں ۔

Who have been patient and upon their Lord rely.

کیا انہوں نے زمین میں چل پھر کر یہ نہیں دیکھا کہ ان سے پہلے لوگوں کا انجام کیسا ( برا ) ہو ؟ وہ ان سے بہت زیادہ توانا اور ( طاقتور ) تھے اور انہوں نے ( بھی ) زمین بوئی جوتی تھی اور ان سے زیادہ آباد کی تھی اور ان کے پاس ان کے رسول روشن دلائل لے کر آئے تھے یہ تو ناممکن تھا کہ اللہ تعالٰی ان پر ظلم کرتا لیکن ( دراصل ) وہ خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے ۔

Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.

پھر آخر ش برا کرنے والوں کا بہت ہی برا انجام ہوا اس لئے کہ وہ اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں کو جھٹلاتے تھے اور ان کی ہنسی اڑاتے تھے ۔

Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them.

جو ایمان لا کر نیک اعمال کرتے رہے وہ تو جنت میں خوش و خرم کر دیئے جائیں گے ۔

And as for those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted.

اور جنہوں نے کفر کیا تھا اور ہماری آیتوں کو اور آخرت کی ملاقات کو جھوٹا ٹھہرایا تھا وہ سب عذاب میں پکڑ کر حاضر رکھے جائیں گے ۔

But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].

بلکہ بات یہ ہے کہ یہ ظالم تو بغیر علم کے خواہش پرستی کر رہے ہیں ، اسے کون راہ دکھائے جسے اللہ تعالٰی راہ سے ہٹا دے ان کا ایک بھی مددگار نہیں ۔

But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers.

ان لوگوں میں سے جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور خود بھی گروہ گروہ ہوگئے ہر گروہ اس چیز پر جو اس کے پاس ہے مگن ہے ۔

[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.

زمین میں چل پھر کر دیکھو تو سہی کہ اگلوں کا انجام کیا ہوا جن میں اکثر لوگ مشرک تھے ۔

Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah ].

تاکہ اللہ تعالٰی انہیں اپنے فضل سے جزا دے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال کئے وہ کافروں کو دوست نہیں رکھتا ۔

That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers.

اور ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بھی اپنے رسولوں کو ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا وہ ان کے پاس دلیلیں لائے ۔ پھر ہم نے گناہ گاروں سے انتقام لیا ۔ ہم پر مومنوں کی مدد کرنا لازم ہے ۔

And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.

اور جن لوگوں کو علم اور ایمان دیا گیا وہ جواب دیں گے کہ تم تو جیسا کہ کتاب اللہ میں ہے یوم قیامت تک ٹھہرے رہے آج کا یہ دن قیامت ہی کا دن ہے لیکن تم تو یقین ہی نہیں مانتے تھے ۔

But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allah 's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know."

پس اس دن ظالموں کو ان کا عذر بہانہ کچھ کام نہ آئے گا اور نہ ان سے توبہ اور عمل طلب کیا جائے گا ۔

So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [ Allah ].

بیشک ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں کے سامنے کل مثالیں بیان کر دی ہیں آپ ان کے پاس کوئی بھی نشانی لائیں یہ کافر تو یہی کہیں گے کہ تم ( بیہودہ گو ) بالکل جھوٹے ہو ۔

And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers."

اللہ تعالٰی ان لوگوں کے دلوں پر جو سمجھ نہیں رکھتے یوں ہی مہر کر دیتا ہے ۔

Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know.

پس آپ صبر کریں یقیناً اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے ۔ آپ کو وہ لوگ ہلکا ( بے صبرا ) نہ کریں جو یقین نہیں رکھتے ۔

So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith].

جو لوگ نماز قائم کرتے ہیں اور زکوۃ ادا کرتے ہیں اور آخرت پر ( کامل ) یقین رکھتے ہیں ۔

Who establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith].

بیشک جن لوگوں نے ایمان قبول کیا اور کام بھی نیک ( مطابق سنت ) کئے ان کے لئے نعمتوں والی جنتیں ہیں ۔

Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure.

یہ ہے اللہ کی مخلوق اب تم مجھے اس کے سوا دوسرے کسی کی کوئی مخلوق تو دکھاؤ ( کچھ نہیں ) بلکہ یہ ظالم کھلی گمراہی میں ہیں ۔

This is the creation of Allah . So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.

ہماری آیتوں پر وہی ایمان لاتے ہیں جنہیں جب کبھی ان سے نصیحت کی جاتی ہے تو وہ سجدے میں گر پڑتے ہیں اور اپنے رب کی حمد کے ساتھ اس کی تسبیح پڑھتے ہیں اور تکبر نہیں کرتے ۔

Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.

جن لوگوں نے ایمان قبول کیا اور نیک اعمال بھی کیے ان کے لئے ہمیشگی والی جنتیں ہیں ، مہمانداری ہے ان کے اعمال کے بدلے جو وہ کرتے تھے ۔

As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do.

لیکن جن لوگوں نے حکم عدولی کی ان کا ٹھکانا دوزخ ہے ، جب کبھی اس سے باہر نکلنا چاہیں گے اسی میں لوٹا دیئے جائیں گے اور کہہ دیا جائیگا کہ اپنے جھٹلانے کے بدلے آگ کا عذاب چکھو ۔

But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."

جواب دے دو کہ فیصلے والے دن ایمان لانا بے ایمانوں کو کچھ کام نہ آئے گا اور نہ انہیں ڈھیل دی جائے گی ۔

Say, [O Muhammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved."

اے ایمان والوں! اللہ تعالٰی نے جو احسان تم پر کیا اسے یاد کرو جبکہ تمہارے مقابلے کو فوجوں پر فوجیں آئیں پھر ہم نے ان پر تیز تند آندھی اور ایسے لشکر بھیجے جنہیں تم نے دیکھا ہی نہیں اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اللہ تعالٰی سب کچھ دیکھتا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to [attack] you and We sent upon them a wind and armies [of angels] you did not see. And ever is Allah , of what you do, Seeing.
