And We gave them of Our mercy, and we made for them a reputation of high honor.
Aur inn sab ko hum ney apni boht si rehmaten ata farmaeen aur hum ney inn kay zikar-e-jamil ko buland darjay ka ker diya.
और उन्हें अपनी दयालुता से हिस्सा दिया। और उन्हें एक सच्ची उच्च ख्याति प्रदान की
And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet.
Iss quran mein musa ( alh-e-salam ) ka zikar bhi ker jo chuna hua rasool aur nabi tha.
और इस किताब में मूसा की चर्चा करो। निस्संदेह वह चुना हुआ था और एक रसूल, नबी था
And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him].
Hum ney ussay toor kay dayen janib say nida ki aur raaz goee kertay huye ussay qareeb ker liya.
हम ने उसे 'तूर' के मुबारक छोर से पुकारा और रहस्य की बातें करने के लिए हम ने उसे समीप किया
And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet.
Aur apni khas meharbani say uss kay bhai ko nabi bana ker ata farmaya.
और अपनी दयालुता से अपने भाई हारून को नबी बनाकर उसे दिया
And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet.
Iss kitab mein ismail ( alh-e-salam ) ka waqiya bhi biyan ker woh bara hi waday ka sacha tha aur tha bhi rasool aur nabi.
और इस किताब में इसमाईल की चर्चा करो। निस्संदेह वह वादे का सच्च, नबी था
And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing.
Woh apney ghar walon ko barabar namaz aur zakat ka hukum deta tha aur tha bhi apney perwerdigar ki baargaah mein pasandeedah aur maqbool.
और अपने लोगों को नमाज़ और ज़कात का हुक्म देता था। और वह अपने रब के यहाँ प्रीतिकर व्यक्ति था
And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.
Aur iss kitab mein idris ( alh-e-salam ) ka bhi zikar ker woh bhi nek kirdaar payghumber tha.
और इस किताब में इदरीस की भी चर्चा करो। वह अत्यन्त सत्यवान, एक नबी था
And We raised him to a high station.
Hum ney ussay buland muqam per utha liya.
हम ने उसे उच्च स्थान पर उठाया था
Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping.
Yehi woh anbiya hain jin per Allah Taalaa ney fazal-o-karam kiya jo aulad-e-adam mein say hain aur unn logon ki nasal say hain jinhen hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) kay sath kashti mein charha liya tha aur aulad ibrahim-o-yaqoob say aur humari taraf say raaha yafta aur humaray pasandeedah logon mein say. Inn kay samney jab Allah rehman ki aayaton ki tilawat ki jati thi yeh sajda kertay aur rotay girgiratay gir partay thay.
ये वे पैग़म्बर हैं जो अल्लाह के कृपापात्र हुए, आदम की सन्तान में से और उन लोगों के वंशज में से जिन को हम ने नूह के साथ सवार किया, और इबराहीम और इसराईल के वंशज में से और उन में से जिन को हम ने सीधा मार्ग दिखाया और चुन लिया। जब उन्हें रहमान की आयतें सुनाई जातीं तो वे सजदा करते और रोते हुए गिर पड़ते थे
But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil -
Phir inn kay baad aisay na khalaf peda huye kay unhon ney namaz zaya ker di aur nafsani khuwishon kay peechay parr gaye so unn ka nuksan unn kay aagay aayega.
फिर उन के पश्चात ऐसे बुरे लोग उन के उत्तराधिकारी हुए, जिन्होंने नमाज़ को गँवाया और मन की इच्छाओं के पीछे पड़े। अतः जल्द ही वे गुमराही (के परिणाम) से दोचार होगा
Except those who repent, believe and do righteousness; for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged at all.
Ba-juz unn kay jo toba ker len aur eman layen aur nek amal keren. Aisay log jannat mein jayen gay aur unn ki zara si bhi haq talfi na ki jayegi.
किन्तु जो तौबा करे और ईमान लाए और अच्छा कर्म करे, तो ऐसे लोग जन्नत में प्रवेश करेंगे। उन पर कुछ भी ज़ुल्म न होगा। -
[Therein are] gardens of perpetual residence which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen. Indeed, His promise has ever been coming.
Humeshgi wali jannaton mein jin ka ghaeebana wada Allah meharban ney apney bandon say kiya hai. Be-shak uss ka wada poora honey wala hi hai.
अदन (रहने) के बाग़ जिनका रहमान ने अपने बन्दों से परोक्ष में होते हुए वादा किया है। निश्चय ही उस के वादे पर उपस्थित होना है। -
They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon.
Woh log wahan koi laghaw baat na sunen gay sirf salam hi salam sunen gay unn kay liye wahan subha shaam unn ka rizq hoga.
वहाँ वे 'सलाम' के सिवा कोई व्यर्थ बात नहीं सुनेंगे। उन की रोज़ी उन्हें वहाँ प्रातः और सन्ध्या समय प्राप्त होती रहेगी
That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our servants who were fearing of Allah .
Yeh hai woh jannat jiss ka waris hum apney bandon mein say unhen banatay hain jo muttaqi hon.
यह है वह जन्नत जिस का वारिस हम अपने बन्दों में से हर उस व्यक्ति को बनाएँगे, जो डर रखने वाला हो
[Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful -
Hum baghair teray rab kay hukum kay utar nahi saktay humaray aagay peechay aur inn kay darmiyan ki kul cheezen ussi ki milkiyat mein hain tera perwerdigar bhoolney wala nahi.
हम तुम्हारे रब की आज्ञा के बिना नहीं उतरते। जो कुछ हमारे आगे है और जो कुछ हमारे पीछे है और जो कुछ इस के मध्य है सब उसी का है, और तुम्हारा रब भूलने वाला नहीं है
Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?"
Aasmano ka zamin ka aur jo kuch inn kay darmiyan hai sab ka rab wohi hai tu ussi ki bandagi ker aur uss ki ibadat per jamm ja. Kiya teray ilm mein uss ka hum naam hum palla koi aur bhi hai?
आकाशों और धरती का रब है और उस का भी जो इन दोनों के मध्य है। अतः तुम उसी की बन्दगी पर जमे रहो। क्या तुम्हारे ज्ञान में उस जैसा कोई है?
And the disbeliever says, "When I have died, am I going to be brought forth alive?"
Insan kehta hai kay jab mein marr jaonga to kiya phir zinda ker kay nikala jaonga?
और मनुष्य कहता है, "क्या जब मैं मर गया तो फिर जीवित करके निकाला जाऊँगा?"
Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?
Kiya yeh insan itna bhi yaad nahi rakhta kay hum ney ussay iss say pehlay peda kiya halankay woh kuch bhi na tha.
क्या मनुष्य याद नहीं करता कि हम उसे इस से पहले पैदा कर चुके हैं, जबकि वह कुछ भी न था?
So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees.
Teray perwerdigar ki qasam! Hum unhen aur shetano ko jama ker kay zaroor zaroor jahannum kay ird gird ghutno kay bal giray huye hazir ker den gay.
अतः तुम्हारे रब की क़सम! हम अवश्य उन्हें और शैतानों को भी इकट्ठा करेंगे। फिर हम उन्हें जहन्नम के चतुर्दिक इस दशा में ला उपस्थित करेंगे कि वे घुटनों के बल झुके होंगे
Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence.
Hum phir her her giroh say unhen alag nikal khara keren gay jo Allah rehman say boht akray akray phirtay thay.
फिर प्रत्येक गिरोह में से हम अवश्य ही उसे छाँटकर अलग करेंगे जो उन में से रहमान (कृपाशील प्रभु) के मुक़ाबले में सबसे बढ़कर सरकश रहा होगा
Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein.
Phir hum unhen bhi khoob jantay hain jo jahannum kay dakhlay kay ziyada sazawaar hain.
फिर हम उन्हें भली-भाँति जानते हैं जो उस में झोंके जाने के सर्वाधिक योग्य हैं
And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.
Tum say her aik wahan zaroor warid honey wala hai yeh teray perwerdigar kay zimmay qataee faisal shuda amar hai.
तुम में से प्रत्येक को उस पर पहुँचना ही है। यह एक निश्चय पाई हुई बात है, जिसे पूरा करना तेरे रब के ज़िम्मे है।
Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.
Phir hum perhezgaron ko to bacha len gay aur na-farmano ko ussi mein ghutno kay bal gira hua chor den gay.
फिर हम डर रखने वालों को बचा लेंगे और ज़ालिमों को उस में घुटनों के बल छोड़ देंगे
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?"
Jab inn kay samney humari roshan aayaten tilwat ki jati hain to kafir musalamano say kehtay hain batao hum tum dono jamaton mein say kiss ka martaba ziyada hai? Aur kiss ki majlis shandaar hai?
जब उन्हें हमारी खुली हुई आयतें सुनाई जाती है तो जिन लोगों ने कुफ़्र किया, वे ईमान लाने वालों से कहते हैं, "दोनों गिरोहों में स्थान की स्पष्ट से कौन उत्तम है और कौन मजलिस की दृष्टि से अधिक अच्छा है?"
And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance?
Hum to inn say pehlay boht si jamaton ko ghaarat ker chukay hain jo saaz-o-saman aur naam-o-numood mein inn say barh charh ker thin.
हालाँकि उन से पहले हम कितनी ही नसलों को विनष्ट कर चुके हैं जो सामग्री और बाह्य भव्यता में इन से कहीं अच्छी थीं!
Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers."
Keh dijiye! Jo gumrahi mein hota Allah rehman uss ko khoob lambi mohlat deta hai yehan tak kay woh unn cheezon kay dekh len jin ka wada kiye jatay hain yaani azab ya qayamat ko uss waqt unn ko sahih tor per maloom ho jayega kay kaun buray martabay wala aur kiss ka jutha kamzor hai.
कह दो, "जो गुमराही में पड़ा हुआ है उस के प्रति तो यही चाहिए कि रहमान उस की रस्सी ख़ूब ढीली छोड़ दे, यहाँ तक कि जब ऐसे लोग उस चीज़ को देख लेंगे जिस का उन से वादा किया जाता है - चाहे यातना हो या क़ियामत की घड़ी - तो वे उस समय जान लेंगे कि अपने स्थान की स्पष्ट से कौन निकृष्ट और जत्थे की दृष्टि से अधिक कमजोर है।"
And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse.
Aur hidayat yafta logon ko Allah Taalaa hidayat mein barhata hai aur baqi rehney wali nekiyan teray rab kay nazdeek sawab kay lehaz say aur anjam kay lehaz say boht hi behtar hain.
और जिन लोगों ने मार्ग पा लिया है, अल्लाह उन के मार्गदर्शन में अभिवृद्धि प्रदान करता है और शेष रहने वाली नेकियाँ ही तुम्हारे रब के यहाँ बदले और अन्तिम परिणाम की स्पष्ट से उत्तम है
Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?"
Kiya tu ney ussay bhi dekha jiss ney humari aayaton say kufur kiya aur kaha kay mujhay to maal-o-aulad zaroor hi di jaye gi.
फिर क्या तुम ने उस व्यक्ति को देखा जिस ने हमारी आयतों का इनकार किया और कहा, "मुझे तो अवश्य ही धन और सन्तान मिलने को है?"
Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise?
Kiya woh ghaib per mutla hai ya Allah ka koi wada ley chuka hai?
क्या उस ने परोक्ष को झाँककर देख लिया है, या रहमान से कोई वचन ले रखा है?
No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively.
Hergiz nahi yeh jo bhi keh raha hai hum ussay zaroor likh len gay aur uss kay liye azab barhaye chalay jayen gay.
कदापि नहीं, हम लिखेंगे जो कुछ वह कहता है और उस के लिए हम यातना को दीर्घ करते चले जाएँगे।
And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone.
Yeh jin cheezon ko keh raha hai ussay hum iss kay baad ley len gay. Aur yeh to bilkul akela hi humaray samney hazir hoga.
और जो कुछ वह बताता है उस के वारिस हम होंगे और वह अकेला ही हमारे पास आएगा
And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor.
Enhon ney Allah kay siwa doosray mabood bana rakhay hain kay woh inn kay liye baees-e-izzat hon.
और उन्होंने अल्लाह से इतर अपने कुछ पूज्य-प्रभु बना लिए हैं, ताकि वे उन के लिए शक्ति का कारण बनें।
No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement].
Lekin aisa hergiz hona nahi. Woh to inn ki pooja say munkir honjayen gay aur ultay inn kay dushman bann jayen gay.
कुछ नहीं, ये उन की बन्दगी का इनकार करेंगे और उन के विरोधी बन जाएँगे। -
Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement?
Kiya tu ney nahi dekha kay hum kafiron kay pass shetano ko bhejtay hain jo enhen khoob uksatay hain.
क्या तुम ने देखा नहीं कि हम ने शैतानों को छोड़ रखा है, जो इनकार करने वालों पर नियुक्त है?
So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number.
Tu inn kay baray mein jaldi na ker hum to khud hi inn kay liye muddat shumari ker rahey hain.
अतः तुम उन के लिए जल्दी न करो। हम तो बस उन के लिए (उन की बातें) गिन रहे हैं
On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation
Jiss din hum perhezgaron ko Allah rehman ki taraf bator mehman kay jama keren gay.
याद करो जिस दिन हम डर रखने वालों के सम्मानित गिरोह के रूप में रहमान के पास इकट्ठा करेंगे।
And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst
Aur gunehgaron ko sakht piyas ki halat mein jahannum ki taraf haank ley jayen gay.
और अपराधियों को जहन्नम के घाट की ओर प्यासा हाँक ले जाएँगे।
None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant.
Kissi ko shifaat ka ikhtiyar na hoga siwaye unn kay jinhon ney Allah Taalaa ki taraf say koi qol-o-qarar ley liya hai.
उन्हें सिफ़ारिश का अधिकार प्राप्त न होगा। सिवाय उस के, जिस ने रहमान के यहाँ से अनुमोदन प्राप्त कर लिया हो
And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son."
Inn ka qol to yeh hai kay Allah rehman ney bhi aulad ikhtiyar ki hai.
वे कहते हैं, "रहमान ने किसी को अपना बेटा बनाया है।"
You have done an atrocious thing.
Yaqeenan tum boht buri aur bhari cheez laye ho.
अत्यन्त भारी बात है, जो तुम घड़ लाए हो!
The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation
Qareeb hai kay iss qol ki waja say aasman phat jayen aur zamin shaq hojaye aur pahar rezay rezay hojayen.
निकट है कि आकाश इस से फट पड़े और धरती टुकड़े-टुकड़े हो जाए और पहाड़ धमाके के साथ गिर पड़े,
That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son.
Key woh rehman ki aulad sabit kerney bethay.
इस बात पर कि उन्होंने रहमान के लिए बेटा होने का दावा किया!
And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.
Shaan-e-rehman kay laeeq nahi kay woh aulad rakhay.
जबकि रहमान की प्रतिष्ठा के प्रतिकूल है कि वह किसी को अपना बेटा बनाए
There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.
Aasman-o-zamin mein jo bhi hain sab kay sab Allah kay ghulam bann ker hi aaney walay hain.
आकाशों और धरती में जो कोई भी है एक बन्दें के रूप में रहमान के पास आने वाला है
He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting.
Inn sab ko uss ney gher rakha hai aur sab ko poori tarah ginn bhi rakha hai.
उस ने उन का आकलन कर रखा है और उन्हें अच्छी तरह गिन रखा है
And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone.
Yeh saray kay saray qayamat kay din akelay uss kay pass hazir honey walay hain.
और उन में से प्रत्येक क़ियामत के दिन उस अकेले (रहमान) के सामने उपस्थित होगा
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection.
Be-shak jo eman laye hain aur jinhon ney shaeesta aemaal kiye hain unn kay liye Allah rehman mohabbat peda ker dey ga.
निस्संदेह जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए शीघ्र ही रहमान उन के लिए प्रेम उत्पन्न कर देगा
So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people.
Hum ney iss quran ko teri zaban mein boht hi aasan ker diya hai kay tu iss kay zariye say perhezgaron ko khushkhabri dey aur jhagraloo logon ko dara dey.
अतः हम ने इस वाणी को तुम्हारी भाषा में इसी लिए सहज एवं उपयुक्त बनाया है, ताकि तुम इस के द्वारा डर रखने वालों को शुभ सूचना दो और उन झगड़ालू लोगों को इस के द्वारा डराओ
And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound?
Hum ney inn say pehlay boht si jamaten tabah ker di hain kiya inn mein say aik bhi aahat tu pata hai ya unn ki awaz ki bhanak bhi teray kaan mein parti hai?
उन से पहले कितनी ही नसलों को हम विनष्ट कर चुके हैं। क्या उन में किसी की आहट तुम पाते हो या उन की कोई भनक सुनते हो?
