And [recall] when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, "Strike with your staff the stone." And there gushed forth from it twelve springs, and every people knew its watering place. "Eat and drink from the provision of Allah , and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
Aur jab musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney apni qom kay liye pani maanga to hum ney kaha kay apni laathi pathar per maaro jiss say baara chashmey phoot niklay aur her giroh ney apna chashma pehchan liya ( aur hum ney keh diya kay ) Allah Taalaa ka rizq khao piyo aur zamin mein fasaad na kertay phiro.
और जब मूसा ने अपनी क़ौम के लिए पानी माँगा तो हमने कहाः अपना असा पत्थर पर मारो, तो उससे फूट निकले बारह चश्मे, हर गिरोह ने अपना-अपना घाट पहचान लिया, खाओ और पियो अल्लाह के रिज़्क़ से और न फिरो ज़मीन में फ़साद मचाने वाले बनकर।
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah . Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly.
Aur uss din say daro jiss mein tum sab Allah ki taraf lotaye jao gay aur her shaks ko uss kay aemaal ka poora poora badla diya jayega aur unn per zulm nahi kiya jaye ga.
और उस दिन से डरो जिस दिन तुम अल्लाह की तरफ़ लौटाए जाओगे, फिर हर शख़्स को उसका किया हुआ पूरा-पूरा मिल जाएगा, और उन पर ज़ुल्म न होगा।
So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt? And each soul will be compensated [in full for] what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
Pus kiya haal hoga jabkay hum enhen uss din jama keren gay? Jiss kay aaney mein koi shak nahi aur her shaks apna apna kiya poora poora diya jayega aur inn per koi zulm na kiya jaye ga.
फिर उस वक़्त क्या होगा जब हम उनको जमा करेंगे उस दिन जिसके आने में कोई शक नहीं, और हर शख़्स को जो कुछ उसने किया है उसका पूरा-पूरा बदला दिया जाएगा, और उन पर ज़ुल्म न किया जाएगा।
The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to [His] servants."
Jiss din her nafss ( shaks ) apni ki hui nekiyon ko aur apni ki hui buraiyon ko mojood paa ley ga aarzoo keray ga kay kaash! Uss kay aur buraiyon kay darmiyan boht hi doori hoti. Allah Taalaa tumhen apni zaat say dara raha hai aur Allah Taalaa apney bandon per bara hi meharban hai.
जिस दिन हर शख़्स अपनी की हुई नेकी को अपने सामने मौजूद पाएगा, और जो बुराई की होगी उसको भी, उस दिन हर शख़्स यह तमन्ना करेगा कि काश! अभी यह दिन उससे बहुत दूर होता, और अल्लाह तुमको डराता है अपनी ज़ात से, और अल्लाह अपने बंदों पर बहुत मेहरबान है।
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel had made unlawful to himself before the Torah was revealed. Say, [O Muhammad], "So bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful."
Toraat kay nuzool say pehlay ( hazrat ) yaqoob ( alh-e-salam ) ney jiss cheez ko apney upper haram ker liya tha uss kay siwa tamam khaney bani israeel per halal thay aap keh dijiye kay agar tum sachay ho to toraat ley aao aur parh sunao.
सब खाने की चीज़ें बनी-इस्राईल के लिए हलाल थीं सिवाए उसके जो इस्राईल ने अपने ऊपर हराम कर लिया था क़ब्ल इसके कि तौरात उतरे, (ऐ नबी) आप कह दें कि तौरात लाओ और उसको पढ़ो, अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
It is not [attributable] to any prophet that he would act unfaithfully [in regard to war booty]. And whoever betrays, [taking unlawfully], will come with what he took on the Day of Resurrection. Then will every soul be [fully] compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
Na mumkin hai kay nabi say khayanat hojaye her khayanat kerney wala khayanat ko liye huye qayamat kay din hazir hoga phir her shaks apney aemaal ka poora poora badla diya jayega aur woh zulm na kiye jayen gay.
नबी का यह काम नहीं कि वह कुछ ख़्यानत करे, और जो कोई ख़्यानत करेगा वह अपनी ख़्यानत की हुई चीज़ को क़यामत के दिन हाज़िर करेगा, फिर हर जान को उसके किए हुए का पूरा बदला मिलेगा और उन पर कुछ ज़ुल्म न होगा।
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.
Her jaan maut ka maza chakhney wali hai aur qayamat kay din tum apney badlay pooray pooray diye jao gay pus jo shaks aag say hata diya jaye aur jannat mein dakhil ker diya jaye be-shak woh kaamyaab hogaya aur duniya ki zindagi to sirf dhokay ki jinss hai.
हर शख़्स को मौत का मज़ा चखना है, और तुमको पूरा-पूरा अज्र तो बस क़यामत के दिन मिलेगा, पस जो शख़्स आग से बचा लिया जाए और जन्नत में दाख़िल किया जाए वही कामयाब रहा, और दुनिया की ज़िंदगी तो बस धोके का सौदा है।
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."
Aap farma dijiya kay kiya mein Allah kay siwa kissi aur ko rab bananey kay liye talash keroon halankay woh maalik hai her cheez ka aur jo shaks bhi koi amal kerta hai woh ussi per rehta hai aur koi kissi doosray ka bojh na uthaye ga. Phir tum sab ko apney rab kay pass jana hoga. Phir woh tum ko jatlaye ga jiss jiss cheez mein tum ikhtilaf kertay thay.
कहिए कि क्या में अल्लाह के सिवा कोई और रब तलाश करूँ जबकि वही हर चीज़ का रब है, और जो शख़्स भी कोई कमाई करता है वह उसी पर रहती है और कोई बोझ उठाने वाला दूसरे का बोझ न उठाएगा, फिर तुम्हारे रब ही की तरफ़ तुम्हारा लौटना है पस वह तुम्हें बता देगा वह चीज़ जिसमें तुम इख़्तिलाफ़ करते थे।
And We divided them into twelve descendant tribes [as distinct] nations. And We inspired to Moses when his people implored him for water, "Strike with your staff the stone," and there gushed forth from it twelve springs. Every people knew its watering place. And We shaded them with clouds and sent down upon them manna and quails, [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not, but they were [only] wronging themselves.
Aur hum ney unn ko baara khaandanon mein taqseem ker kay sab ki alag alag jamat muqarrar ker di aur hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko hukum diya jabkay unn ki qom ney unn say pani maanga kay apney asa ko falan pathar per maaro pus foran uss say baara chashmay phoot niklay. Her her shaks ney apney pani peenay ka moqa maloom ker liya aur hum ney unn per abar ko saya figan kiya aur unn ko mann-o-salwa ( taran jabeen aur bateren ) phonchaen khao nafees cheezon say jo hum ney tum ko di hain aur unhon ney humara koi nuksan nahi kiya lekin apna hi nuksan kertay thay.
और हमने उनको बारह घरानों में तक़सीम करके उन्हें अलग-अलग गिरोह बना दिया, और हमने मूसा को हुक्म भेजा उस वक़्त जब उसकी क़ौम ने पानी माँगा कि फ़लाँ पत्थर पर अपनी लाठी मारो तो उससे बारह चश्मे फूट पड़े, हर गिरोह ने अपना पानी पीने का ठिकाना मालूम कर लिया, और हमने उन पर बदलियों का साया किया और हमने उन पर मन्न व सलवा उतारा, खाओ पाकीज़ा चीज़ों में से जो हमने तुमको दी हैं, और उन्होंने हमारा कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ा बल्कि वे ख़ुद अपना ही नुक़सान करते रहे।
There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allah , their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent.
Uss muqam per her shaks apney aglay kiye huye kaamon ki jaanch ker ley ga aur yeh log Allah ki taraf jo inn ka malik-e-haqeeqi hai lotaye jayen gay aur jo kuch jhoot bandha kertay thay sab unn say ghaeeb hojayen gay.
उस वक़्त हर शख़्स अपने उस अमल से दो-चार होगा जो उसने किया था और लोग अपने हक़ीक़ी मालिक अल्लाह की तरफ़ लौटाए जाएंगे और जो झूठ उन्होंने घड़े थे वे सब उनसे जाते रहेंगे।
Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful punishment.
Go inn kay pass tamam nishaniyan phonch jayen jab tak kay woh dard naak azab ko na dekh len.
चाहे उनके पास सारी निशानियाँ आ जाएं जब तक कि वे दर्दनाक अज़ाब को सामने आता न देख लें।
Allah knows what every female carries and what the wombs lose [prematurely] or exceed. And everything with Him is by due measure.
Mada apney shikam mein jo kuch rakhti hai ussay Allah bakhoobi janta hai aur pet ka ghatna barhna bhi her cheez uss kay pass andazay say hai.
अल्लाह जानता है हर मादा के हमल को और जो कुछ रिहमों में घटता और बढ़ता है उसको भी, और हर चीज़ का उसके यहाँ एक अंदाज़ा है।
And those before them had plotted, but to Allah belongs the plan entirely. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know for whom is the final home.
Inn say pehlay logon ney bhi apni makkari mein kami na ki thi lekin tamam tadbeeren Allah hi ki hain jo shaks jo kuch ker raha hai Allah kay ilm mein hai. Kafiron ko abhi maloom hojaye ga kay ( uss ) jahaan ki saza kiss kay liye hai?
जो उनसे पहले थे उन्होंने भी तदबीरें कीं मगर तमाम तदबीरें अल्लाह के इख़्तियार में हैं, वह जानता है कि हर एक क्या कर रहा है और मुनकिरीन जल्द जान लेंगे कि आख़िरत का घर किसके लिए है।
And they requested victory from Allah , and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant.
Aur unhon ney faisla talab kiya aur tamam sirkash ziddi log na murad hogaye.
और उन्होंने फ़ैसला चाहा, और हर सरकश ज़िद्दी नामुराद हुआ।
On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged.
Jis din her shaks apni zaat kay liye larta jhagarta aaye aur her shaks ko uss kay kiye huye aemaal ka poora badla diya jaye ga aur logon per ( mutlaqan ) zulm na kiya jaye ga.
जिस दिन हर शख़्स अपनी ही तरफ़दारी में बोलता हुआ आएगा और हर शख़्स को उसके किए का पूरा बदला मिलेगा और उन पर ज़ुल्म न किया जाएगा।
On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged.
Jis din her shaks apni zaat kay liye larta jhagarta aaye aur her shaks ko uss kay kiye huye aemaal ka poora badla diya jaye ga aur logon per ( mutlaqan ) zulm na kiya jaye ga.
जिस दिन हर शख़्स अपनी ही तरफ़दारी में बोलता हुआ आएगा और हर शख़्स को उसके किए का पूरा बदला मिलेगा और उन पर ज़ुल्म न किया जाएगा।
And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.
Jiss baat ki tujhay khabar hi na ho uss kay peechay mat parr. Kiyon kaan aur aankh aur dil inn mein say her aik say pooch gooch ki janey wali hai.
और ऐसी चीज़ के पीछे न लगें जिसकी आपको ख़बर नहीं, बेशक कान और आँख और दिल सब की आदमी से पूछ होगी।
All that - its evil is ever, in the sight of your Lord, detested.
Inn sab kaamon ki buraee teray rab kay nazdeek ( sakht ) na pasand hai.
ये सारे बुरे काम आपके रब के नज़दीक नापसंदीदा हैं।
There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.
Aasman-o-zamin mein jo bhi hain sab kay sab Allah kay ghulam bann ker hi aaney walay hain.
आकाशों और धरती में जो कोई भी है एक बन्दें के रूप में रहमान के पास आने वाला है
Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives.
Qayamat yaqeenan aaney wali hai jissay mein posheeda rakhna chahata hun takay her shaks ko woh badla diya jaye jo uss ney kosish ki ho.
निश्चय ही वह (क़ियामत की) घड़ी आनेवाली है - शीघ्र ही उसे लाऊँगा, उसे छिपाए रखता हूँ - ताकि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति जो प्रयास वह करता है, उस का बदला पाए
Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.
Her jaandaar mot ka maza chakhney wala hai. Hum ba-tareeq imtehan tum say her aik ko buraee bhalaee mein mubtila kertay hain aur tum sab humari hi taraf lotaye jaogay.
हर जीव को मौत का मज़ा चखना है और हम अच्छी और बुरी परिस्थितियों में डालकर तुम सबकी परीक्षा करते हैं। अन्ततः तुम्हें हमारी ही ओर पलटकर आना है
On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allah is severe.
Jiss din tum ussay dekh lo gay her doodh pilaney wali apnay doodh peetay bachay ko bhool jayegi aur tamam hamal waliyon kay hamal girr jayen gay aur tu dekhay ga kay log madhosh dikhaee den gay halankay dar-haqeeqat who matwalay na hongay lekin Allah ka azab bara hi sakht hai.
जिस जिन तुम उसे देखोगे, हाल यह होगा कि प्रत्येक दूध पिलाने वाली अपने दूध पीते बच्चे को भूल जाएगी और प्रत्येक गर्भवती अपना गर्भभार रख देगी। और लोगों को तुम नशे में देखोगे, हालाँकि वे नशे में न होंगे, बल्कि अल्लाह की यातना है ही बड़ी कठोर चीज़

जिस जिन तुम उसे देखोगे, हाल यह होगा कि प्रत्येक दूध पिलाने वाली अपने दूध पीते बच्चे को भूल जाएगी और प्रत्येक गर्भवती अपना गर्भभार रख देगी। और लोगों को तुम नशे में देखोगे, हालाँकि वे नशे में न होंगे, बल्कि अल्लाह की यातना है ही बड़ी कठोर चीज़
But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing.
Phir unhon ney khud ( hi ) apnay amar ( deen ) kay aapas mein tukray tukray ker liye her giroh jo kuch uss kay pass hai ussi per itra raha hai.
किन्तु उन्होंने स्वयं अपने मामले (धर्म) को परस्पर टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डाला। हर गिरोह उसी पर खुश है, जो कुछ उस के पास है
Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].
Na to Allah ney kissi ko beta banaya aur na uss kay sath aur koi mabood hai werna her mabood apni makhlooq ko liye liye phirta aur her aik doosray per charh dorta. Jo osaaf yeh batlatay hain unn say Allah pak ( aur bey-niaz ) hai.
अल्लाह ने अपना कोई बेटा नहीं बनाया और न उस के साथ कोई अन्य पूज्य-प्रभु है। ऐसा होता तो प्रत्येक पूज्य-प्रभु अपनी सृष्टि को लेकर अलग हो जाता और उन में से एक-दूसरे पर चढ़ाई कर देता। महान और उच्च है अल्लाह उन बातों से, जो वे बयान करते हैं;
Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain.
Hum ney musa ki taraf wahee bheji kay darya per apni laathi maar pus ussi waqt darya phat gaya aur her aik hissa paani ka misil baray pahar kay hogaya.
तब हम ने मूसा की ओर प्रकाशना की, "अपनी लाठी सागर पर मार।"
[Say, O Muhammad], "I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [those who submit to Allah ]
Mujhay to bus yehi hukum diya gaya hai kay mein iss shehar kay perwerdigar ki ibadat kerta rahon jiss ney issay hurmat wala banaya hai jiss ki milkiyat her cheez hai aur mujhay yeh bhi farmaya gaya hai kay mein farmanbardaron mein say ho jaon.
मुझे तो बस यही आदेश मिला है कि इस नगर (मक्का) के रब की बन्दगी करूँ, जिस ने इसे आदरणीय ठहराया और उसी की हर चीज़ है। और मुझे आदेश मिला है कि मैं आज्ञाकारी बनकर रहूँ
And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. His is the judgement, and to Him you will be returned.
Allah Taalaa kay sath kissi aur mabood ko na pukarna ba-juz Allah Taalaa kay koi aur mabood nahi her cheez fana honey wali hai magar ussi ka mun. ( aur zaat ) ussi kay liye farmanrawaee hai aur tum ussi ki taraf lotaye jaogay.
और अल्लाह के साथ किसी और इष्ट-पूज्य को न पुकारना। उस के सिवा कोई इष्ट-पूज्य नहीं। हर चीज़ नाशवान है सिवास उस के स्वरूप के। फ़ैसला और आदेश का अधिकार उसी को प्राप्त है और उसी की ओर तुम सबको लौटकर जाना है
Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned.
her jaandaar maut ka maza chakhney wala hai aur tum sab humari hi taraf lotaye jaogay.
प्रत्येक जीव को मृत्यु का स्वाद चखना है। फिर तुम हमारी ओर वापस लौटोगे
[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.
Unn logon mein say jinhon ney apnay deen ko tukray tukray ker diya aur khud bhi giroh giroh hogaye her giroh uss cheez per jo uss kay pass hai magan hai.
उन लोगों में से जिन्होंने अपनी दीन (धर्म) को टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डाला और गिरोहों में बँट गए। हर गिरोह के पास जो कुछ है, उसी में मग्न है
And when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allah , sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, there are [some] of them who are moderate [in faith]. And none rejects Our signs except everyone treacherous and ungrateful.
Aur jab unn per mojen saeebanon ki tarah chah jati hain to woh ( nihayat ) khuloos kay sath aeytiqaad kerkay Allah Taalaa hi ko pukartay hain. Phir jab woh ( bari taalaa ) unhen nijat dey ker khushki ki taraf phonchata hai to kuch inn mein say aeytidaal per rehtay hain aur humari aayaton ka inkar sirf wohi kertay hain jo bad-ehad aur na shukray hon.
और जब कोई मौज छाया-छत्रों की तरह उन्हें ढाँक लेती है, तो वे अल्लाह को उसी के लिए अपने निष्ठाभाव के विशुद्ध करते हुए पुकारते हैं, फिर जब वह उन्हें बचाकर स्थल तक पहुँचा देता है, तो उन में से कुछ लोग संतुलित मार्ग पर रहते हैं। (अधिकांश तो पुनः पथभ्रष्ट हो जाते हैं।) हमारी निशानियों का इनकार तो बस प्रत्येक वह व्यक्ति करता है जो विश्वासघाती, कृतघ्न हो
And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do.
Aur jiss shaks ney jo kuch kiya hai bharpoor dey diya jayega jo kuch log ker rahey hain woh bakhoobi jannay wala hai.
और प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को उस का किया भरपूर दिया जाएगा। और वह भली-भाँति जानता है, जो कुछ वे करते हैं
The people of Noah denied before them and the [disbelieving] factions after them, and every nation intended [a plot] for their messenger to seize him, and they disputed by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth. So I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty.
Qom-e-nooh ney aur unn kay baad kay girohon ney bhi jhutlaya tha. Aur her ummat ney apnay rasool ko giriftar kerleney ka iradah kiya aur baatil kay zariyey kaj behasiyan kien takay unn say haq ko bigar den pus mein ney unn ko pakar liya so meri taraf say kaisi saza hui.
उन से पहले नूह की क़ौम ने और उन के पश्चात दूसरे गिरोहों ने भी झुठलाया और हर समुदाय के लोगों ने अपने रसूलों के बारे में इरादा किया कि उन्हें पकड़ लें और वे सत्य का सहारा लेकर झगडे, ताकि उस के द्वारा सत्य को उखाड़ दें। अन्ततः मैंने उन्हें पकड़ लिया। तौ कैसी रही मेरी सज़ा!
This Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today! Indeed, Allah is swift in account.
Aaj her nafas ko uss ki kamaee ka badla diya jayega. Aaj ( kissi qisam ka ) zulm nahi yaqeenan Allah Taalaa boht jald hisab kerney wala hai.
आज प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को उस की कमाई का बदला दिया जाएगा। आज कोई ज़ुल्म न होगा। निश्चय ही अल्लाह हिसाब लेने में बहुत तेज है
And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.
Aur soney kay bhi aur yeh sabb kuch yunhi sa duniya ki zindagi ka faeedah hai aur aakhirat to aap kay rab kay nazdeek ( sirf ) perhezgaron kay liye ( hi ) hai.
और सोने द्वारा सजावट का आयोजन भी कर देते। यह सब तो कुछ भी नहीं, बस सांसारिक जीवन की अस्थायी सुख-सामग्री है। और आख़िरत तुम्हारे रब के यहाँ डर रखने वालों के लिए हैं
On that night is made distinct every precise matter -
Issi raat mein her aik mazboot kaam ka faisla kiya jata hai.
उस (रात) में तमाम तत्वदर्शिता युक्त मामलों का फ़ैसला किया जाता है,
And Allah created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.
Aur aasmano aur zamin ko Allah ney boht adal kay sath peda kiya hai aur takay her shaks ko uss kay kiyey huye kaam ka poora badla diya jaye aur unn per zulm na kiya jaye.
अल्लाह ने आकाशों और धरती को हक़ के साथ पैदा किया और इसलिए कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को उस की कमाई का बदला दिया जाए और उन पर ज़ुल्म न किया जाए
And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.
