الفاظ ( الَّذِيْنَ )

ان کے بعد پھر بھی ہم اپنے رسولوں کو پے درپے بھیجتے رہے اور ان کے بعد عیسیٰ بن مریم ( علیہ السلام ) کو بھیجا اور انہیں انجیل عطا فرمائی اور ان کے ماننے والوں کے دلوں میں شفقت اور رحم پیدا کر دیا ہاں رہبانیت ( ترک دنیا ) تو ان لوگوں نے از خود ایجاد کر لی تھی ہم نے ان پر اسے واجب نہ کیا تھا سوائے اللہ کی رضا جوئی کے ۔ سوا انہوں نے اس کی پوری رعایت نہ کی پھر بھی ہم نے ان میں سے جو ایمان لائے تھےانہیں ان کا اجر دیا اور ان میں زیادہ تر لو گ نافرمان ہیں ۔

Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah . But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

اے وہ لوگوں جو ایمان لائے ہو! اللہ سے ڈرتے رہا کرو اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اللہ تمہیں اپنی رحمت کا دوہرا حصہ دے گا اور تمہیں نور دے گا جس کی روشنی میں تم چلو پھرو گے اور تمہارے گناہ بھی معاف فرما دے گا ، اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

O you who have believed, fear Allah and believe in His Messenger; He will [then] give you a double portion of His mercy and make for you a light by which you will walk and forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

بیشک جو لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی مخالفت کرتے ہیں وہ ذلیل کئے جائیں گے جیسے ان سے پہلے کے لوگ ذلیل کئے گئے تھے اور بیشک ہم واضح آیتیں اتار چکے ہیں اور کافروں کے لئے تو ذلت والا عذاب ہے ۔

Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger are abased as those before them were abased. And We have certainly sent down verses of clear evidence. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.

بیشک جو لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی مخالفت کرتے ہیں وہ ذلیل کئے جائیں گے جیسے ان سے پہلے کے لوگ ذلیل کئے گئے تھے اور بیشک ہم واضح آیتیں اتار چکے ہیں اور کافروں کے لئے تو ذلت والا عذاب ہے ۔

Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger are abased as those before them were abased. And We have certainly sent down verses of clear evidence. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.

کیا تو نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا؟ جنہیں کانا پوسی سے روک دیا گیا تھا وہ پھر بھی اس روکے ہوئے کام کو دوبارہ کرتے ہیں اور آپس میں گناہ کی اور ظلم و زیادتی کی اور نافرمانی ٔ پیغمبر کی سرگوشیاں کرتے ہیں اور جب تیرے پاس آتے ہیں تو تجھے ان لفظوں میں سلام کرتے ہیں جن لفظوں میں اللہ تعالٰی نے نہیں کہا اور اپنے دل میں کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالٰی ہمیں اس پر جو ہم کہتے ہیں سزا کیوں نہیں دیتا ان کے لئے جہنم کافی ( سزا ) ہے جس میں یہ جائیں گے سو وہ برا ٹھکانا ہے ۔

Have you not considered those who were forbidden from private conversation, then they return to that which they were forbidden and converse among themselves about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger? And when they come to you, they greet you with that [word] by which Allah does not greet you and say among themselves, "Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?" Sufficient for them is Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the destination.

اے ایمان والو! تم جب سرگوشیاں کرو تو یہ سرگوشی گناہ اور ظلم ( زیادتی ) اور نافرمانی پیغمبر کی نہ ہو ں بلکہ نیکی اور پرہیزگاری کی باتوں پر سرگوشی کرو اور اس اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو جس کے پاس تم سب جمع کئے جاؤ گے ۔

O you who have believed, when you converse privately, do not converse about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger but converse about righteousness and piety. And fear Allah , to whom you will be gathered.

۔ ( بر ی ) سرگوشیاں پس شیطانی کام ہے جس سے ایمانداروں کو رنج پہنچے گو اللہ تعالٰی کی اجازت کے بغیر وہ انہیں کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتا اور ایمان والوں کو چاہیے کہ اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ رکھیں ۔

Private conversation is only from Satan that he may grieve those who have believed, but he will not harm them at all except by permission of Allah . And upon Allah let the believers rely.

اے مسلمانو! جب تم سے کہا جائے کہ مجلسوں میں ذرا کشادگی پیدا کرو تو تم جگہ کشادہ کردو اللہ تمہیں کشادگی دے گا اور جب کہا جائے اٹھ کہ کھڑے ہو جاؤ تو تم اٹھ کھڑے ہو جاؤ اللہ تعالٰی تم میں سے ان لوگوں کے جو ایمان لائے ہیں اور جو علم دیئے گئے ہیں درجے بلند کر دے گا اور اللہ تعالیٰ ( ہر اس کام سے ) جو تم کر رہے ہو ( خوب ) خبردار ہے ۔

O you who have believed, when you are told, "Space yourselves" in assemblies, then make space; Allah will make space for you. And when you are told, "Arise," then arise; Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

اے مسلمانو! جب تم سے کہا جائے کہ مجلسوں میں ذرا کشادگی پیدا کرو تو تم جگہ کشادہ کردو اللہ تمہیں کشادگی دے گا اور جب کہا جائے اٹھ کہ کھڑے ہو جاؤ تو تم اٹھ کھڑے ہو جاؤ اللہ تعالٰی تم میں سے ان لوگوں کے جو ایمان لائے ہیں اور جو علم دیئے گئے ہیں درجے بلند کر دے گا اور اللہ تعالیٰ ( ہر اس کام سے ) جو تم کر رہے ہو ( خوب ) خبردار ہے ۔

O you who have believed, when you are told, "Space yourselves" in assemblies, then make space; Allah will make space for you. And when you are told, "Arise," then arise; Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

اے مسلمانو! جب تم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سرگوشی کرنا چاہو تو اپنی سرگوشی سے پہلے کچھ صدقہ دے دیا کرو یہ تمہارے حق میں بہتر اور پاکیزہ تر ہے ہاں اگر نہ پاؤ تو بیشک اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

O you who have believed, when you [wish to] privately consult the Messenger, present before your consultation a charity. That is better for you and purer. But if you find not [the means] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

کیا تو نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا؟ جنہوں نے اس قوم سے دوستی کی جن پر اللہ غضبناک ہو چکا ہے نہ یہ ( منافق ) تمہارے ہی ہیں نہ ان کے ہیں باوجود علم کے پھر بھی جھوٹ پر قسمیں کھا رہے ہیں ۔

Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [they are lying].

بیشک اللہ تعالٰی کی اور اس کے رسول کی جو لوگ مخالفت کرتے ہیں وہی لوگ سب سے زیادہ ذلیلوں میں ہیں ۔

Indeed, the ones who oppose Allah and His Messenger - those will be among the most humbled.

وہی ہے جس نے اہل کتاب میں سے کافروں کو ان کے گھروں سے پہلے حشر کے وقت نکالا تمہارا گمان ( بھی ) نہ تھا کہ وہ نکلیں گے اور وہ خود (بھی ) سمجھ رہے تھے کہ ان کے ( سنگین ) قلعے انہیں ‌اللہ ( كے ‌عذاب ) ‌سے ‌بچا ‌لیں ‌گے ‌پس ‌ان ‌پر ‌اللہ ‌ ( كا ‌عذاب ) ‌ایسی ‌جگہ ‌سے ‌آپڑا کہ انہیں گمان بھی نہ تھا اور ان کے دلوں میں اللہ نے رعب ڈال دیا اور وہ اپنے گھروں کو اپنے ہی ہاتھوں اجاڑ رہے تھے اور مسلمان کے ہاتھوں ( برباد کروا رہے تھے ) پس اے آنکھوں والو! عبرت حاصل کرو ۔

It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah ; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision.

۔ ( فیٔ کا مال ) ان مہاجر مسکینوں کے لئے ہے جو اپنے گھروں اور اپنے مالوں سے نکال دیئے گئے ہیں وہ اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رضامندی کے طلب گار ہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی کی اور اس کے رسول کی مدد کرتے ہیں یہی راست باز لوگ ہیں ۔

For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful.

اور ( ان کے لئے ) جو ان کے بعد آئیں جو کہیں گے کہ اے ہمارے پروردگار ہمیں بخش دے اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو بھی جو ہم سے پہلے ایمان لاچکے ہیں اور ایمانداروں کی طرف سے ہمارے دل میں کینہ ( اور دشمنی ) نہ ڈال اے ہمارے رب بیشک تو شفقت و مہربانی کرنے والا ہے ۔

And [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."

کیا تو نے منافقوں کو نہ دیکھا؟ کہ اپنے اہل کتاب کافر بھائیوں سے کہتے ہیں اگر تم جلا وطن کئے گئے تو ضرور بالضرور ہم بھی تمہارے ساتھ نکل کھڑے ہونگے اور تمہارے بارے میں ہم کبھی بھی کسی کی بات نہ مانیں گے اور اگر تم سے جنگ کی جائے گی تو بخدا ہم تمہاری مدد کریں گے ، لیکن اللہ تعالٰی گواہی دیتا ہے کہ یہ قطعًا جھوٹے ہیں ۔

Have you not considered those who practice hypocrisy, saying to their brothers who have disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, "If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey, in regard to you, anyone - ever; and if you are fought, we will surely aid you." But Allah testifies that they are liars.

کیا تو نے منافقوں کو نہ دیکھا؟ کہ اپنے اہل کتاب کافر بھائیوں سے کہتے ہیں اگر تم جلا وطن کئے گئے تو ضرور بالضرور ہم بھی تمہارے ساتھ نکل کھڑے ہونگے اور تمہارے بارے میں ہم کبھی بھی کسی کی بات نہ مانیں گے اور اگر تم سے جنگ کی جائے گی تو بخدا ہم تمہاری مدد کریں گے ، لیکن اللہ تعالٰی گواہی دیتا ہے کہ یہ قطعًا جھوٹے ہیں ۔

Have you not considered those who practice hypocrisy, saying to their brothers who have disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, "If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey, in regard to you, anyone - ever; and if you are fought, we will surely aid you." But Allah testifies that they are liars.

ان لوگوں کی طرح جو ان سے کچھ ہی پہلے گزرے ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے کام کا وبال چکھ لیا اور جن کے لئے المناک عذاب ( تیار ) ہے ۔

[Theirs is] like the example of those shortly before them: they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.

اے ایمان والو! اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو اور ہر شخص دیکھ ( بھال ) لے کہ کل ( قیامت ) کے واسطے اس نے ( اعمال کا ) کیا ( ذخیرہ ) بھیجا ہے اور ( ہر وقت ) اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو ۔ اللہ تمہارے سب اعمال سے باخبر ہے ۔

O you who have believed, fear Allah . And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah . Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

اے وہ لوگوں جو ایمان لائے ہو! میرے اور ( خود ) اپنے دشمنوں کو اپنا دوست نہ بناؤ تم تو دوستی سے ان کی طرف پیغام بھیجتے ہو اور وہ اس حق کے ساتھ جو تمہارے پاس آچکا ہے کفر کرتے ہیں ، پیغمبر کو اور خود تمہیں بھی محض اس وجہ سے جلا وطن کرتے ہیں کہ تم اپنے رب پر ایمان رکھتے ہو اگر تم میری راہ میں جہاد کے لئے اور میری رضامندی کی طلب میں نکلتے ہو ( تو ان سے دوستیاں نہ کرو ) ان کے پاس محبت کا پیغام پوشیدہ پوشیدہ بھیجتے ہو اور مجھے خوب معلوم ہے جو تم نے چھپایا وہ بھی جو تم نے ظاہر کیا ، تم میں سے جو بھی اس کام کو کرے گا وہ یقیناً راہ راست سے بہک جائے گا ۔

O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending to them affection while they have disbelieved in what came to you of the truth, having driven out the Prophet and yourselves [only] because you believe in Allah , your Lord. If you have come out for jihad in My cause and seeking means to My approval, [take them not as friends]. You confide to them affection, but I am most knowing of what you have concealed and what you have declared. And whoever does it among you has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.

کیا عجب کہ عنقریب ہی اللہ تعالٰی تم میں اور تمہارے دشمنوں میں محبت پیدا کر دے اللہ کو سب قدرتیں ہیں اور اللہ ( بڑا ) غفور رحیم ہے ۔

Perhaps Allah will put, between you and those to whom you have been enemies among them, affection. And Allah is competent, and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

جن لوگوں نے تم سے دین کے بارے میں لڑائی نہیں لڑی اور تمہیں جلا وطن نہیں کیا ان کے ساتھ سلوک و احسان کرنے اور منصفانہ بھلے برتاؤ کرنے سے اللہ تعالٰی تمہیں نہیں روکتا بلکہ اللہ تعالٰی تو انصاف کرنے والوں سے محبت کرتا ہے ۔

Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

اللہ تعالٰی تمہیں صرف ان لوگوں کی محبت سے روکتا ہے جنہوں نے تم سے دین کے بارے میں لڑائیاں لڑیں اور تمہیں دیس سے نکالے دیئے اور دیس سے نکالا دینے والوں کی مدد کی جو لوگ ایسے کفار سے محبت کریں وہ ( قطعًا ) ظالم ہیں ۔

Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

اے ایمان والو! جب تمہارے پاس مومن عورتیں ہجرت کر کے آئیں تو تم ان کا امتحان لو دراصل ان کے ایمان کو بخوبی جاننے والا تو اللہ ہی ہے لیکن اگر وہ تمہیں ایمان والیاں معلوم ہوں تو اب تم انہیں کافروں کی طرف واپس نہ کرو ، یہ ان کے لئے حلال نہیں اور نہ وہ ان کے لئے حلال ہیں اور جو خرچ ان کافروں کا ہوا ہو وہ انہیں ادا کردو ان عورتوں کو ان کے مہر دے کر ان سے نکاح کر لینے میں تم پر کوئی گناہ نہیں اور کافر عورتوں کی ناموس اپنے قبضے میں نہ رکھو اور جو کچھ تم نے خرچ کیا ہو ، مانگ لوا ور جو کچھ ان کافروں نے خرچ کیا ہو وہ بھی مانگ لیں یہ اللہ کا فیصلہ ہے جو تمہارے درمیان کر رہا ہے اللہ تعالٰی بڑے علم ( اور ) حکمت والا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah ; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

اور اگر تمہاری کوئی بیوی تمہارے ہاتھ سے نکل جائے اور کافروں کے پاس چلی جائے پھر تمیں اس کے بدلے کا وقت مل جائے تو جن کی بیویاں چلی گئی ہیں انہیں ان کے اخراجات کے برابر ادا کر دو ، اور اس اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو جس پر تم ایمان رکھتے ہو ۔

And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you subsequently obtain [something], then give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah , in whom you are believers.

اے مسلمانو! تم اس قوم سے دوستی نہ رکھو جن پر اللہ کا غضب نازل ہو چکا ہے جو آخرت سے اس طرح مایوس ہو چکے ہیں جیسے کہ مردہ اہل قبر سے کافر نا امید ہیں ۔

O you who have believed, do not make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry. They have despaired of [reward in] the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of [meeting] the inhabitants of the graves.

اے ایمان والو! تم وہ بات کیوں کہتے ہو جو کرتے نہیں ۔

O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?

بیشک اللہ تعالٰی ان لوگوں سے محبت کرتا ہے جو اس کی راہ میں صف بستہ جہاد کرتے ہیں گویا وہ سیسہ پلائی ہوئی عمارت ہیں ۔

Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly.

اے ایمان والو! کیا میں تمہیں وہ تجارت بتلا دوں جو تمہیں دردناک عذاب سے بچا لے؟

O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment?

اے ایمان والو! تم اللہ تعالٰی کے مددگار بن جاؤ جس طرح حضرت مریم کے بیٹے حضرت عیسیٰ نے حواریوں سے فرمایا کہ کون ہے جو اللہ کی راہ میں میرا مددگار بنے؟ حواریوں نے کہا ہم اللہ کی راہ میں مددگار ہیں پس بنی اسرائیل میں سے ایک جماعت تو ایمان لائی اور ایک جماعت نے کفر کیا تو ہم نے مومنوں کی ان کے دشمنوں کے مقابلہ میں مدد کی پس وہ غالب آگئے ۔

O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah , as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah ?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah ." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.

اے ایمان والو! تم اللہ تعالٰی کے مددگار بن جاؤ جس طرح حضرت مریم کے بیٹے حضرت عیسیٰ نے حواریوں سے فرمایا کہ کون ہے جو اللہ کی راہ میں میرا مددگار بنے؟ حواریوں نے کہا ہم اللہ کی راہ میں مددگار ہیں پس بنی اسرائیل میں سے ایک جماعت تو ایمان لائی اور ایک جماعت نے کفر کیا تو ہم نے مومنوں کی ان کے دشمنوں کے مقابلہ میں مدد کی پس وہ غالب آگئے ۔

O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah , as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah ?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah ." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.

جن لوگوں کو تورات پر عمل کرنے کا حکم دیا گیا پھر انہوں نے اس پر عمل نہیں کیا ان کی مثال اس گدھے کی سی ہے جو بہت سی کتابیں لادے ہو اللہ کی باتوں کو جھٹلانے والوں کی بڑی بری مثال ہے اور اللہ ( ایسے ) ظالم قوم کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا ۔

The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah . And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

جن لوگوں کو تورات پر عمل کرنے کا حکم دیا گیا پھر انہوں نے اس پر عمل نہیں کیا ان کی مثال اس گدھے کی سی ہے جو بہت سی کتابیں لادے ہو اللہ کی باتوں کو جھٹلانے والوں کی بڑی بری مثال ہے اور اللہ ( ایسے ) ظالم قوم کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا ۔

The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah . And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

کہہ دیجئے کہ اے یہودیو! اگر تمہارا دعویٰ ہے کہ تم اللہ کے دوست ہو دوسرے لوگوں کے سوا تو تم موت کی تمنا کرو اگر تم سچے ہو ۔

Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah , excluding the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful."

اے وہ لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو! جمعہ کے دن نماز کی اذان دی جائے تو تم اللہ کے ذکر کی طرف دوڑ پڑو اور خرید و فروخت چھوڑ دو یہ تمہارے حق میں بہت ہی بہتر ہے اگر تم جانتے ہو ۔

O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.

یہی وہ ہیں جو کہتے ہیں کہ جو لوگ رسول اللہ کے پاس ہیں ان پر کچھ خرچ نہ کرو یہاں تک کہ وہ ادھر ادھر ہو جائیں اور آسمان و زمین کے کل خزانے اللہ تعالٰی کی ملکیت ہیں لیکن یہ منافق بے سمجھ ہیں ۔

They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.

اے مسلمانو! تمہارے مال اور تمہاری اولاد تمہیں اللہ کے ذکر سے غافل نہ کردیں اور جو ایسا کریں وہ بڑے ہی زیاں کار لوگ ہیں ۔

O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah . And whoever does that - then those are the losers.

کیا تمہارے پاس اس سے پہلے کے کافروں کی خبر نہیں پہنچی؟ جنہوں نے اپنے اعمال کا وبال چکھ لیا اور جن کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے ۔

Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.

ان کافروں نے خیال کیا ہے کہ دوبارہ زندہ نہ کئے جائیں گے آپ کہہ دیجئے کیوں نہیں اللہ کی قسم! تم ضرور دوبارہ اٹھائے جاؤ گے پھر جو تم نے کیا ہےاس کی خبر دیئے جاؤ گے اور اللہ پر یہ بالکل ہی آسان ہے ۔

Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah , is easy."

اے ایمان والو! تمہاری بعض بیویاں اور بعض بچے تمہارے دشمن ہیں پس ان سے ہوشیار رہنا اور اگر تم معاف کردو اور درگزر کر جاؤ اور بخش دو تو اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

ان کے لئے اللہ تعالٰی نے سخت عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے ، پس اللہ سے ڈرو اے عقل مند ایمان والو ۔ یقیناً اللہ نے تمہاری طرف نصیحت اتار دی ہے ۔

Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment; so fear Allah , O you of understanding who have believed. Allah has sent down to you the Qur'an.

یعنی ) رسول جو تمہیں اللہ کے صاف صاف احکام پڑھ کر سناتا ہے تاکہ ان لوگوں کو جو ایمان لائیں اور نیک عمل کریں وہ تاریکیوں سے روشنی کی طرف لے آئے اور جو شخص اللہ پر ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرے اللہ اسے ایسی جنتوں میں داخل کرے گا جس کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں جن میں یہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے ۔ بیشک اللہ نے اسے بہترین روزی دے رکھی ہے ۔

[He sent] a Messenger [Muhammad] reciting to you the distinct verses of Allah that He may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from darknesses into the light. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein forever. Allah will have perfected for him a provision.

اے ایمان والو! تم اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے گھر والوں کو اس آگ سے بچاؤ جس کا ایندھن انسان ہیں اور پتھر جس پر سخت دل مضبوط فرشتے مقرر ہیں جنہیں جو حکم اللہ تعالٰی دیتا ہے اس کی نافرمانی نہیں کرتے بلکہ جو حکم دیا جائے بجا لاتے ہیں ۔

O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.

اے کافرو! آج تم عذر و بہانہ مت کرو ۔ تمہیں صرف تمہارے کرتوت کا بدلہ دیا جا رہا ہے ۔

O you who have disbelieved, make no excuses that Day. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do.

اے ایمان والو! تم اللہ کے سامنے سچی خالص توبہ کرو قریب ہے کہ تمہارا رب تمہارے گناہ دور کر دے اور تمہیں ایسی جنتوں میں داخل کرے جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں ۔ جس دن اللہ تعالٰی نبی کو اور ایمان داروں کو جو ان کے ساتھ ہیں رسوا نہ کرے گا ان کا نور ان کے سامنے اور ان کے دائیں دوڑ رہا ہوگا ۔ یہ دعائیں کرتے ہوں گے اے ہمارے رب ہمیں کامل نور عطا فرما اور ہمیں بخش دے یقیناً تو ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, "Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent."

بیشک جو لوگ اپنے پروردگار سے غائبانہ طور پر ڈرتے رہتے ہیں ان کے لئے بخشش ہے اور بڑا ثواب ہے ۔

Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

اور ان سے پہلے لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا تو دیکھو ان پر میرا عذاب کیسا ہوا؟

And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach.

جب یہ لوگ اس وعدے کو قریب تر پا لیں گے اس وقت ان کافروں کے چہرے بگڑ جائیں گے اور کہہ دیا جائے گا کہ یہی ہے جسے تم طلب کیا کرتے تھے ۔

But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call."

اور قریب ہے کہ کافر اپنی تیز نگاہوں سے آپ کو پھسلا دیں جب کبھی قرآن سنتے ہیں اور کہہ دیتے ہیں یہ تو ضرور دیوانہ ہے ۔

And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes when they hear the message, and they say, "Indeed, he is mad."

جو اپنی نمازوں پر ہمیشگی کرنے والے ہیں ۔

Those who are constant in their prayer
