And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."
Aur jab inn say kaha jata hai kay zamin mein fasaad na kero o jawab detay hain kay hum to sirf islaah kerney walay hain.
और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि ज़मीन में फ़साद न करो, तो वे जवाब देते हैं कि हम तो इसलाह करने वाले हैं।
And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."
Aur jab eman walon say miltay hain to kehtay hain kay hum bhi eman walay hain aur jab apney baron kay pass jatay hain to kehtay hain kay hum to tumharay sath hain hum to inn say sirf mazaq kertay hain.
और जब वे ईमान वालों से मिलते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए हैं, और जब अपने शैतानों की मजलिस में पहुँचते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम तुम्हारे साथ हैं, हम तो उनसे महज़ हँसी करते हैं।
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah . And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.
Aur uss cheez kay peechay parr gaye jissay shayateen ( hazrat ) suleman ki hukoomat mein parhtay thay. Suleman ney to kufur na kiya tha bulkay yeh kufur shetanon ka tha woh logon ko jadoo sikhaya kertay thay aur babul mein haroot maroot do farishton per jo utaara gaya tha woh dono bhi kissi shaks ko uss waqt tak nahi sikhatay thay jab tak yeh na keh den kay hum to aik aazmaeesh hain tu kufur na ker phir log inn say woh seekhtay jiss say khawind-o-biwi mein judaee daal den aur dar-asal woh baghair Allah Taalaa ki marzi kay kissi ko koi nuksan nahi phoncha saktay yeh log woh seekhtay hain jo enhen nuksan phonchaye aur nafa na phoncha sakay aur woh bil yaqeen jantay hain kay iss key lenay walay ka aakhirat mein koi hissa nahi. Aur woh bad tareen cheez hai jiss kay badlay mein woh apney aap ko farokht ker rahey hain kaash kay yeh jantay hotay.
और वे उस चीज़ के पीछे पड़ गए जिसको शयातीन सुलेमान के दौरे-हुकूमत में पढ़ते थे; हालाँकि सुलेमान ने कुफ़्र नहीं किया बल्कि ये शैतान थे जिन्होंने कुफ़्र किया, वे लोगों को जादू सिखाते थे, और वे उस चीज़ में पड़ गए जो “बाबिल” में दो फ़रिश्तों “हारूत” और “मारूत” पर उतारी गई, जबकि उनका हाल यह था कि जब भी वे किसी को (जादू के) ये करतब सिखाते तो उससे कह देते कि हम तो आज़माइश के लिए हैं पस तुम काफ़िर न बनो, मगर वे उनसे वे चीज़ें सीखते जिससे मर्द और उसकी बीवी के दरमियान जुदाई डाल दें; हालाँकि वे अल्लाह की इजाज़त के बग़ैर उससे किसी का कुछ बिगाड़ नहीं सकते थे, और वे ऐसी चीज़ सीखते थे जो उनको नुक़सान पहुँचाए और नफ़ा न दे, और वे जानते थे कि जो कोई इस चीज़ का ख़रीदार हो आख़िरत में उसका कोई हिस्सा नहीं, कैसी बुरी चीज़ है जिसके बदले उन्होंने अपनी जानों को बेच डाला, काश वे इसको समझते।
But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
Maga jab hazrat essa ( alh-e-salam ) ney unn ka kufur mehsoos ker liya to kehney lagay Allah Taalaa ki raah mein meri madad kerney wala kaun kaun hai? Hawariyon ney jawab diya kay hum Allah Taalaa ki raah kay madadgar hain hum Allah Taalaa per eman laye aur aap gawah rahiye kay hum tabeydaar hain.
फिर जब ईसा (अलै॰) ने महसूस किया उनकी जानिब से कुफ़्र को तो कहा कि कौन मेरा मददगार बनता है अल्लाह की राह में, हवारियों ने कहाः हम हैं अल्लाह के मददगार, हम ईमान लाए अल्लाह पर और आप गवाह रहिए कि हम फ़रमाँबरदार हैं।
But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.
Yahud-o-nasaara kehtay hain kay hum Allah kay betay aur uss kay dost hain aap keh dijiye kay phir tumhen tumharay gunahon kay baees Allah kiyon saza deta hai? Nahi bulkay tum bhi uss ki makhlooq mein say aik insan ho woh jisay chahata hai bakhsh deta hai aur jisay chahata hai azab kerta hai zamin-o-aasman aur inn kay darmiyan ki her cheez Allah Taalaa ki milkiyat hai aur ussi ki taraf lotna hai.
और यहूद व नसारा कहते हैं कि हम ही अल्लाह के बेटे और उसके महबूब हैं, आप कह दीजिए कि फिर वह तुम्हारे गुनाहों पर तुमको सज़ा क्यों देता है, नहीं बल्कि तुम भी उसकी पैदा की हुई मख़लूक़ में से एक आदमी हो, वह जिसको चाहेगा बख़्शेगा और जिसको चाहेगा अज़ाब देगा, और अल्लाह ही के लिए है बादशाहत आसमानों की और ज़मीन की और जो कुछ उनके दरमियान है, और उसी की तरफ़ लौट कर जाना है।
And they say, "There is none but our worldly life, and we will not be resurrected."
Aur yeh kehtay hain kay sirf yeh dunyawi zindagi humari zindagi hai aur hum zinda na kiye jayen gay.
और कहते हैं कि जिंदगी तो बस यही हमारी दुनिया की जिंदगी है और हम फिर उठाए जाने वाले नहीं हैं।
Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."
Aap kahiye kay aao mein tum ko woh cheezen parh ker sunaon jin ( yani jin ki mukhalifat ) ko tumharay rab ney tum per haram farma diya hai woh yeh kay Allah kay sath kissi cheez ko shareek mat thehrao aur maa baap kay sath ehsan kero aur apni aulad ko aflaas kay sabab qatal mat kero. Hum tum ko aur unn ko rizk detay hain aur bey hayaee kay jitney tareeqay hain unn kay pass bhi mat jao khuwa woh aelaaniya hon khuwa posheeda aur jiss ka khoon kerna Allah Taalaa ney haram ker diya hai uss ko qatal mat kero haan magar haq kay sath inn ka tum ko takeedi hukum diya hai takay tum samjho.
आप कहिए कि आओ मैं सुनाऊँ वे चीज़ें जो तुम्हारे रब ने तुम पर हराम की हैं, यह कि तुम उसके साथ किसी चीज़ को शरीक न करो, और माँ-बाप के साथ नेक सलूक करो और अपनी औलाद को मुफ़्लिसी के डर से क़त्ल न करो, हम तुमको भी रोज़ी देते हैं और उनको भी, और बेहयाई के कामों के पास न जाओ चाहे वे खुलेआम हों या छुपे हुए, और जिस जान को अल्लाह ने हराम ठहराया उसको नाहक़ क़त्ल न करो, ये बातें हैं जिनकी अल्लाह ने तुम्हें हिदायत फ़रमाई है ताकि तुम अक़्ल से काम लो।
And the magicians came to Pharaoh. They said, "Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant."
Aur woh jadoogar firaon kay pass hazir huye kehney lagay kay agar hum ghalib aaye to hum ko koi bara sila milay ga?
और जादूगर फ़िरऔन के पास आए, उन्होंने कहाः हमको ईनाम तो ज़रूर मिलेगा अगर हम ग़ालिब रहे।
They said, "O Moses, either you throw [your staff], or we will be the ones to throw [first]."
Unn saahiron ney araz kiya aey musa! Khuwa aap daaliye aur ya hum hi daalen?
जादूगरों ने कहाः मूसा! या तो तुम (असा) डालो या हम डालने वाले बनते हैं।
And they said, "No matter what sign you bring us with which to bewitch us, we will not be believers in you."
Aur yun kehtay kaisi hi baat humaray samney lao kay inn kay zariye say hum per jadoo chalao jab bhi hum tumhari baat hergiz na maanen gay.
और वे (मूसा से) कहते थे कि तुम हम पर अपना जादू चलाने के लिए कैसी भी निशानी लेकर आ जाओ हम तुम पर ईमान लाने वाले नहीं हैं।
And among those around you of the bedouins are hypocrites, and [also] from the people of Madinah. They have become accustomed to hypocrisy. You, [O Muhammad], do not know them, [but] We know them. We will punish them twice [in this world]; then they will be returned to a great punishment.
Aur kuch tumharay gird-o-paish walon mein aur kuch madinay walon mein aisay munafiq hain kay nifaq per aray huye hain aap inn ko nahi jantay inn ko hum jantay hain hum inn ko dohri saza den gay phir woh baray bhari azab ki taraf bhejay jayen gay.
और तुम्हारे आस-पास जो देहाती हैं उनमें मुनाफ़िक़ हैं, और मदीना वालों में भी (मुनाफ़िक़ हैं), वे निफ़ाक़ पर जम गए हैं, तुम उनको नहीं जानते लेकिन हम उनको जानते हैं, हम उनको दोहरा अज़ाब देंगे फिर वे एक बड़े अज़ाब की तरफ़ भेजे जाएंगे।
They said, "Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you two may have grandeur in the land? And we are not believers in you."
Woh log kehney lagay kiya tum humaray pass iss liye aaye ho kay hum ko iss tareeqay say hata do jiss per hum ney apney baap dadon ko paya hai aur tum dono ko duniya mein baraee mill jaye aur hum tum dono ko kabhi na manen gay.
उन्होंने कहा कि क्या तुम हमारे पास इसलिए आए हो कि हमको उस रास्ते से फेर दो जिस पर हमने अपने बाप-दादा को पाया है और इस मुल्क में तुम दोनों की बड़ाई क़ायम हो जाए, और हम तुम दोनों की बात कभी मानने वाले नहीं हैं।
They said, "O Hud, you have not brought us clear evidence, and we are not ones to leave our gods on your say-so. Nor are we believers in you.
Unhon ney kaha aey hood! Tu humaray pass koi daleel to laya nahi aur hum sirf teray kehney say apney maboodon ko chorney walay nahi aur na hum tujh per eman laney walay hain.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ हूद! तुम हमारे पास कोई खुली निशानी लेकर नहीं आए हो, और हम तुम्हारे कहने से अपने माबूदों को छोड़ने वाले नहीं हैं, और हम हरगिज़ तुमको मानने वाले नहीं हैं।
They said, "O Hud, you have not brought us clear evidence, and we are not ones to leave our gods on your say-so. Nor are we believers in you.
Unhon ney kaha aey hood! Tu humaray pass koi daleel to laya nahi aur hum sirf teray kehney say apney maboodon ko chorney walay nahi aur na hum tujh per eman laney walay hain.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ हूद! तुम हमारे पास कोई खुली निशानी लेकर नहीं आए हो, और हम तुम्हारे कहने से अपने माबूदों को छोड़ने वाले नहीं हैं, और हम हरगिज़ तुमको मानने वाले नहीं हैं।
We relate to you, [O Muhammad], the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Qur'an although you were, before it, among the unaware.
Hum aap kay samney behtareen biyan paish kertay hain iss waja say kay hum ney aap ki janib yeh quran wahee kay zariye nazil kiya hai aur yaqeenan aap iss say pehlay bey khabron mein say thay.
हम आपको बेहतरीन वाक़िआ सुनाते हैं उस क़ुरआन की बदौलत जो हमने आपकी तरफ़ वह्य किया, वर्ना इससे पहले बेशक आप बेख़बरों में से थे।
They said, "[It is but] a mixture of false dreams, and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams."
Unhon ney jawab diya kay yeh to urtay uratay pareshan khuwab hain aur aisay shoreedah pareshan khuwabon ki tabeer jannay walay hum nahi.
वे बोलेः ये ख़्याली ख़्वाब हैं, और हमको ऐसे ख़्वाबों की ताबीर मालूम नहीं।
Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian.
Hum ney iss quran ko nazil farmaya hai aur hum hi uss kay mohafiz hain.
हमने ही इस क़ुरआन को नाज़िल किया है और हम ही इसके मुहाफ़िज़ हैं।
They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."
Tab bhi yehi kahen gay humari nazar bandi ker di gaee hai bulkay hum logon per jadoo ker diya gaya hai.
तब भी वे कह देते कि हमारी आँखों को धोखा हो रहा है; बल्कि हम पर तो जादू कर दिया गया है।
And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Indeed, their killing is ever a great sin.
Aur muflisi kay khof say apni aulado ko naa maar dalo unn ko aur tum ko hum rozi detay hain . yaqeenan inn ka qatal kerna kabeera gunah hai.
और अपनी औलाद को मुफ़्लिसी के अंदेशे से क़त्ल न करो, हम उनको भी रिज़्क़ देते हैं और तुमको भी, बेशक उनको क़त्ल करना बड़ा गुनाह है।
We are most knowing of how they listen to it when they listen to you and [of] when they are in private conversation, when the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic."
Jiss gharz say woh log issay suntay hain unn ( ki niyaton ) say hum khoob aagah hain jab yeh aap ki taraf kaan lagaye huye hotay hain tab bhi aur yeh mashwara kertay hain tab bhi jab kay zalim kehtay hain kay tum uss ki tabeydaari mein lagay huye ho jin per jadoo ker diya gaya hai.
हम जानते हैं कि जब वे आपकी तरफ़ कान लगाते हैं तो वे किस लिए सुनते हैं और जबकि वे आपस में कानाफूसी करते हैं ये ज़ालिम लोग कहते हैं कि तुम लोग बस एक जादू किए हुए इंसान के पीछे चल रहे हो।
And there is no city but that We will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection or punish it with a severe punishment. That has ever been in the Register inscribed.
Jitni bhi bastiyan hain hum qayamat kay din say pehlay pehlay ya to unhen halak ker denay walay hain ya sakht tar azab denay walay hain. Yeh to kitab mein likha ja chuka hai.
और कोई बस्ती ऐसी नहीं जिसको हम क़यामत से पहले हलाक न करें या उसको सख़्त अज़ाब न दें, यह बात किताब में लिखी हुई है।
It is We who relate to you, [O Muhammad], their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.
Hum unn ka sahih waqiya teray samney biyan farma rahey hain. Yeh chand no-jawan apney rab per eman laye thay aur hum ney unn ki hodayat mein taraqqi di thi.
हम तुन्हें ठीक-ठीक उन का वृत्तान्त सुनाते हैं। वे कुछ नवयुवक थे जो अपने रब पर ईमान लाए थे, और हम ने उन्हें मार्गदर्शन में बढ़ोत्तरी प्रदान की
Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned.
Khud zamin kay aur tamam zamin walon kay waris hum hi hongay aur sab log humari hi taraf lota ker layen jayen gay.
धरती और जो भी उस के ऊपर है उस के वारिस हम ही रह जाएँगे और हमारी ही ओर उन्हें लौटना होगा
Then we will surely bring you magic like it, so make between us and you an appointment, which we will not fail to keep and neither will you, in a place assigned."
Acha hum bhi teray muqablay mein issi jaisa jadoo zaroor layen gay pus humaray aur apnay darmiyan aik waday ka waqt muqarrar ker ley kay na hum iss ka khof keren aur na tu saaf maidan mein muqabla ho.
अच्छा, हम भी तेरे पास ऐसा ही जादू लाते हैं। अब हमारे और अपने बीच एक निश्चित स्थान ठहरा ले, कोई बीच की जगह, न हम इस के विरुद्ध जाएँ और न तू।"
We are most knowing of what they say when the best of them in manner will say, "You remained not but one day."
Jo kuch woh keh rahey hain uss ki haqeeqat say hum ba-khabar hain inn mein say sab say ziyada acha raah wala keh raha hoga kay tum to sirf aik hi din rahey.
हम भली-भाँति जानते हैं जो कुछ वे कहेंगे, जबकि उन का सबसे अच्छी सम्मतिवाला कहेगा, "तुम तो बस एक ही दिन ठहरे हो।"
And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.
Apney gharaney kay logon per namaz ki takeed rakh aur khud bhi iss per jama reh hum tujh say rozi nahi maangtay bulkay hum khud tujhay rozi detay hain aakhir mein bol bala perhezgari hi ka hai.
और अपने लोगों को नमाज़ का आदेश करो और स्वयं भी उसपर जमे रहो। हम तुम से कोई रोज़ी नहीं माँगते। रोज़ी हम ही तुम्हें देते हैं, और अच्छा परिणाम तो धर्मपरायणता ही के लिए निश्चित है
Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.
( zindagi ) to sirf duniya ki zindagi hai hum martay jeetay rehtay hain aur yeh nahi kay hum phir uthaye jayen gay.
वह तो बस हमारा सांसारिक जीवन ही है। (यहीं) हम मरते और जीते हैं। हम कोई दोबारा उठाए जाने वाले नहीं हैं
He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah , and we will not believe him."
Yeh to bus aisa shaks hai jiss ney Allah per jhoot ( bohtaan ) bandh liya hai hum to iss per eman laney walay nahi hain.
वह तो बस एक ऐसा व्यक्ति है जिस ने अल्लाह पर झूठ घड़ा है। हम उसे कदापि मानने वाले नहीं।"
We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples."
Hum say aur humaray baap dadon say pehlay hi say yeh wada hota chala aaya hai kuch nahi yeh to sirf aglay logon kay afsaney hain.
यह वादा तो हम से और इस से पहले हमारे बाप-दादा से होता आ रहा है। कुछ नहीं, यह तो बस अगलों की कहानियाँ हैं।"
Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe.
Buraee ko iss tareeqay say door keren jo sirasir bhalaee wala ho jo kuch yeh biyan kertay hain hum ba-khoobi waqif hain.
बुराई को उस ढंग से दूर करो, जो सबसे उत्तम हो। हम भली-भाँति जानते हैं जो कुछ बातें वे बनाते हैं
And when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, "Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant?"
Jadoogar agar firaon say kehney lagay kay agar hum jeet gaye to humen kuch inam bhi milay ga?
फिर जब जादूगर आए तो उन्होंने फ़िरऔन से कहा, "क्या हमारे लिए कोई प्रतिदान भी है, यदि हम प्रभावी रहे?"
And we are not to be punished."
Aur hum hergiz azab nahi diye jayen gay.
और हमें कदापि यातना न दी जाएगी।"
And they will say, "May we be reprieved?"
Uss waqt kahen gay kiya humen kuch mohlat di jayegi?
तब वे कहेंगे, "क्या हमें कुछ मुहलत मिल सकती है?"
They said, "We are men of strength and of great military might, but the command is yours, so see what you will command."
Inn sab ney jawab diya kay hum taqat aur qooat walay sakht bhirney walay hain. Aagay aap ko ikhtiyar hai aap khud hi soch lijiye kay humen aap kiya kuch hukum farmati hain.
उन्होंने कहा, "हम शक्तिशाली हैं और हमें बड़ी युद्ध-क्षमता प्राप्त है। आगे मामले का अधिकार आपको है, अतः आप देख लें कि आपको क्या आदेश देना है।"
We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples."
Hum aur humaray baap dadon ko boht pehlay say yeh waday diye jatay rahey. Kuch nahi yeh to sirf aglon kay afsaney hain.
इसका वादा तो इससे पहले भी किया जा चुका है, हम से भी और हमारे बाप-दादा से भी। ये तो बस पहले लोगो की कहानियाँ हैं।"
And how many a city have We destroyed that was insolent in its [way of] living, and those are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them except briefly. And it is We who were the inheritors.
Aur hum ney boht si woh bastiyan tabah kerdin jo apnay aish-o-ishrat mein itraney lagi thin yeh hain unn ki rehaeesh ki jaghen jo unn kay baad boht kum hi abad ki gaeen aur hum hi hain aakhir sab kuch kay waris.
हम ने कितनी ही बस्तियों को विनष्ट कर डाला, जिन्होंने अपनी गुज़र-बसर के संसाधन पर इतराते हुए अकृतज्ञता दिखाई। तो वे हैं उन के घर, जो उन के बाद आबाद थोड़े ही हुए। अन्ततः हम ही वारिस हुए
[Abraham] said, "Indeed, within it is Lot." They said, "We are more knowing of who is within it. We will surely save him and his family, except his wife. She is to be of those who remain behind."
( hazrat ibrahim alh-e-salam ney ) kaha iss mein to loot ( alh-e-salam ) hain farishton ney kaha yahan jo hain hum unhen ba-khoobi jantay hain. Loot ( alh-e-salam ) ko aur uss kay khandan ko siwaye uss ki biwi kay hum bacha len gay albatta woh aurat peechay reh janey walon mein say hai.
उस ने कहाँ, "वहाँ तो लूत मौजूद है।" वे बोले, "जो कोई भी वहाँ है, हम भली-भाँति जानते हैं। हम उसको और उस के घर वालों को बचा लेंगे, सिवाय उस की स्त्री के। वह पीछे रह जाने वालों में से है।"
And they said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished."
Aur kaha hum maal-o-aulad mein boht barhay huyey hain yeh nahi hosakta kay hum azab diye jayen.
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि "हम तो धन और संतान में तुम से बढ़कर है और हम यातनाग्रस्त होने वाले नहीं।"
And they said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished."
Aur kaha hum maal-o-aulad mein boht barhay huyey hain yeh nahi hosakta kay hum azab diye jayen.
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि "हम तो धन और संतान में तुम से बढ़कर है और हम यातनाग्रस्त होने वाले नहीं।"
Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.
Be-shak hum murdon ko zindah keren gay aur hum likhtay jatay hain woh aemaal bhi jin ko log aagay bhejtay hain aur unn kay woh aemaal bhi jin ko peechay chor jatay hain aur hum ney her cheez ko aik wazeh kitab mein zabt ker rakha hai.
निस्संदेह हम मुर्दों को जीवित करेंगे और हम लिखेंगे जो कुछ उन्होंने आगे के लिए भेजा और उन के चिन्हों को (जो पीछे रहा) । हर चीज़ हम ने एक स्पष्ट किताब में गिन रखी है
Then, are we not to die
Kiya ( yeh sahih hai ) kay hum marney walay hi nahi?
है ना अब ऐसा कि हम मरने के नहीं।
Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?"
Ba-juz pehli aik mot kay aur na hum azab kiyey janey walay hain.
हमें जो मृत्यु आनी थी वह बस पहले आ चुकी। और हमें कोई यातना ही दी जाएगी!"
We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]
Tumhari dunyawi zindagi mein bhi hum tumharay rafiq thay aur aakhirat mein bhi rahen gay jiss cheez ko tumhara ji chahye aur jo kuch tum mango sab tumharay liye ( jannat mein mojood ) hai.
हम सांसारिक जीवन में भी तुम्हारे सहचर मित्र हैं और आख़िरत में भी। और वहाँ तुम्हारे लिए वह सब कुछ है, जिस की इच्छा तुम्हारे जी को होगी। और वहाँ तुम्हारे लिए वह सब कुछ होगा, जिस का तुम माँग करोगे
Do they distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees [of rank] that they may make use of one another for service. But the mercy of your Lord is better than whatever they accumulate.
Kiya aap kay rab ki rehmat ko yeh taqseem kertay hain? Hum ney hi inn ki zindagniy-e-duniya ki rozi inn mein taqseem ki hai aur aik ko doosray say buland kiya hai takay aik doosray ko matehat ker ley jissay yeh log samettay phirtay hain iss say aap kay rab ki rehmat boht hi behtar hai.
क्या वे तुम्हारे रब की दयालुता को बाँटते हैं? सांसारिक जीवन में उन के जीवन-यापन के साधन हम ने उन के बीच बाँटे हैं और हम ने उन में से कुछ लोगों को दूसरे कुछ लोगों से श्रेणियों की दृष्टि से उच्च रखा है, ताकि उन में से वे एक-दूसरे से काम लें। और तुम्हारे रब की दयालुता उस से कहीं उत्तम है जिसे वे समेट रहे हैं
"There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected.
Kay ( aakhri cheez ) yehi humara pehli baar ( duniya say ) mar jana hai aur hum doobara uthaye nahi jayen gay.
"बस यह हमारी पहली मृत्यु ही है, हम दोबारा उठाए जाने वाले नहीं हैं
And when it was said, 'Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth and the Hour [is coming] - no doubt about it,' you said, 'We know not what is the Hour. We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced.' "
Aur jabb kabhi kaha jata kay Allah ka wada yaqeenan sacha hai aur qayamat kay aaney mein koi shak nahi to tum jawab detay thay kay hum nahi jantay qayamat kiya cheez hai? Humen kuch yun hi sa khayal hojata hai lekin humen yaqeen nahi.
और जब कहा जाता था कि अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है और (क़ियामत की) घड़ी में कोई संदेह नहीं है। 'तो तुम कहते थे, "हम नहीं जानते कि वह घड़ी क्या है? हमें तो बस एक अनुमान-सा प्रतीत होता है और हमें विश्वास नहीं होता'।"
Indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and to Us is the destination
Hum hi jilatay hain aur hum hi martay hain aur humari hi taraf lot phir ker aana hai.
हम ही जीवन प्रदान करते और मृत्यु देते हैं और हमारी ही ओर अन्ततः आना है। -
We are most knowing of what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. But remind by the Qur'an whoever fears My threat.
Yeh jo kuch keh rahey hain hum bakhoobi jaantay hain aur aap inn per jabar kerney walay nahi to aap quran kay zariyey enhen samjhatay rahen jo meray waeed ( daraway kay wadon ) say dartay hain.
हम जानते हैं जो कुछ वे कहते हैं, तुम उन पर कोई ज़बरदस्ती करने वाले तो हो नहीं। अतः तुम क़ुरआन के द्वारा उसे नसीहत करो जो हमारी चेतावनी से डरे
Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"?
Ya yeh kehtay hain kay hum ghalba panay wali janat hain.
या वे कहते हैं, "और हम मुक़ाबले की शक्ति रखने वाले एक जत्था हैं?"
We have created you, so why do you not believe?
Hum hi ney tum sab ko peda kiya hai phir tum bawer nahi kertay?
हम ने तुम्हें पैदा किया; फिर तुम सच क्यों नहीं मानते?
