الفاظ ( وَلَا )

اور جو لوگ اپنا مال لوگوں کے دکھاوے کے لئے خرچ کرتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اور جس کا ہم نشین اور ساتھی شیطان ہو ، وہ بدترین ساتھی ہے ۔

And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.

اور جو لوگ اپنا مال لوگوں کے دکھاوے کے لئے خرچ کرتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اور جس کا ہم نشین اور ساتھی شیطان ہو ، وہ بدترین ساتھی ہے ۔

And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.

جس روز کافر اور رسول کے نافرمان آرزو کریں گے کہ کاش! انہیں زمین کے ساتھ ہموار کر دیا جاتا اور اللہ تعالٰی سے کوئی بات نہ چھُپا سکیں گے ۔

That Day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish they could be covered by the earth. And they will not conceal from Allah a [single] statement.

اے ایمان والو! جب تم نشے میں مست ہو نماز کے قریب بھی نہ جاؤ ، جب تک کہ اپنی بات کو سمجھنے نہ لگو اور جنابت کی حالت میں جب تک کہ غسل نہ کر لو ہاں اگر راہ چلتے گزر جانے والے ہوتو اور بات ہے اور اگر تم بیمار ہو یا سفر میں ہو یا تم میں سے کوئی قضائے حاجت سے آیا ہو یا تم نے عورتوں سے مباشرت کی ہو اور تمہیں پانی نہ ملے تو پاک مٹی کا قصد کرو اور اپنے منہ اور اپنے ہاتھ مل لو ۔ بیشک اللہ تعالٰی معاف کرنے والا بخشنے والا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.

کیا آپ نے انہیں نہیں دیکھا جو اپنی پاکیزگی اور ستائش خود کرتے ہیں؟ بلکہ اللہ تعالٰی جسے چاہے پاکیزہ کرتا ہے ، کسی پر ایک دھاگے کے برابر ظلم نہ کیا جائے گا ۔

Have you not seen those who claim themselves to be pure? Rather, Allah purifies whom He wills, and injustice is not done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed].

کیا تم نے انہیں نہیں دیکھا جنہیں حکم کیا گیا تھا کہ اپنے ہاتھوں کو روکے رکھو اور نمازیں پڑھتے رہو اور زکوۃ ادا کرتے رہو ۔ پھر جب انہیں جہاد کا حکم دیا گیا تو اسی وقت ان کی ایک جماعت لوگوں سے اس قدر ڈرنے لگی جیسے اللہ تعالٰی کا ڈر ہو بلکہ اس سے بھی زیادہ اور کہنے لگے اے ہمارے رب! تو نے ہم پر جہاد کیوں فرض کر دیا ؟کیوں ہمیں تھوڑی سی زندگی اور نہ جینے دی ؟ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ دنیا کی سود مندی تو بہت ہی کم ہے اور پرہیزگاروں کے لئے تو آخرت ہی بہتر ہے اور تم پر ایک دھاگے کے برابر بھی سِتَم روانہ رکھا جائے گا ۔

Have you not seen those who were told, "Restrain your hands [from fighting] and establish prayer and give zakah"? But then when fighting was ordained for them, at once a party of them feared men as they fear Allah or with [even] greater fear. They said, "Our Lord, why have You decreed upon us fighting? If only You had postponed [it for] us for a short time." Say, The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for he who fears Allah . And injustice will not be done to you, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed]."

ان کی تو چاہت ہے کہ جس طرح کے کافر وہ ہیں تم بھی ان کی طرح کُفر کرنے لگو اور پھر سب یکساں ہو جاؤ پس جب تک یہ اسلام کی خاطر وطن نہ چھوڑیں ان میں سے کسی کو حقیقی دوست نہ بناؤ پھر اگر یہ مُنہ پھیر لیں تو انہیں پکڑو اور قتل کرو جہاں بھی یہ ہاتھ لگ جائیں ، خبردار !ان میں سے کسی کو اپنا رفیق اور مددگار نہ سمجھ بیٹھنا ۔

They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah . But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.

اے ایمان والو! جب تم اللہ کی راہ میں جا رہے ہو تو تحقیق کر لیا کرو اور جو تم سے سلام علیک کرے تم اسے یہ نہ کہہ دو کہ تو ایمان والا نہیں ۔ تم دنیاوی زندگی کے اسباب کی تلاش میں ہو تو اللہ تعالٰی کے پاس بہت سی غنیمتیں ہیں ، پہلے تم بھی ایسے ہی تھے ، پھر اللہ تعالٰی نے تم پر احسان کیا لہذا تم ضرور تحقیق اور تفتیش کر لیا کرو بیشک اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے اعمال سے باخبر ہے ۔

O you who have believed, when you go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah , investigate; and do not say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace "You are not a believer," aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

جب تم ان میں ہو اور ان کے لئے نماز کھڑی کرو تو چائیے کہ ان کی ایک جماعت تمہارے ساتھ اپنے ہتھیار لئے کھڑی ہو پھر جب یہ سجدہ کر چکیں تو یہ ہٹ کر تمہارے پیچھے آ جائیں اور وہ دوسری جماعت جس نے نماز نہیں پڑھی وہ آ جائے اور تیرے ساتھ نماز ادا کرے اور اپنا بچاؤ اور اپنے ہتھیار لئے رہے کافر چاہتے ہیں کہ کسی طرح تم اپنے ہتھیاروں اور اپنے سامان سے بے خبر ہو جاؤ تو وہ تم پر اچانک دھاوا بول دیں ہاں اپنے ہتھیار اتار رکھنے میں اُس وقت تم پر کوئی گناہ نہیں جب کہ تمہیں تکلیف ہو یا بوجہ بارش کے یا بسبب بیمار ہو جانے کے اور اپنے بچاؤ کی چیزیں ساتھ لئے رہو- یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی نے منکروں کے لئے ذلت کی مار تیار کر رکھی ہے ۔

And when you are among them and lead them in prayer, let a group of them stand [in prayer] with you and let them carry their arms. And when they have prostrated, let them be [in position] behind you and have the other group come forward which has not [yet] prayed and let them pray with you, taking precaution and carrying their arms. Those who disbelieve wish that you would neglect your weapons and your baggage so they could come down upon you in one [single] attack. But there is no blame upon you, if you are troubled by rain or are ill, for putting down your arms, but take precaution. Indeed, Allah has prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment.

ان لوگوں کا پیچھا کرنے سے ہارے دل ہو کر بیٹھ نہ رہو !اگر تمہیں بے آرامی ہوتی ہے تو انہیں بھی تمہاری طرح بے آرامی ہوتی ہے اور تم اللہ تعالٰی سے وہ امید یں رکھتے ہو ، جو امید انہیں نہیں ، اور اللہ تعالٰی دانا اور حکیم ہے ۔

And do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy. If you should be suffering - so are they suffering as you are suffering, but you expect from Allah that which they expect not. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

یقیناً ہم نے تمہاری طرف حق کے ساتھ اپنی کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے تاکہ تم لوگوں میں اس چیز کے مطابق فیصلہ کرو جس سے اللہ نے تم کو شناسا کیا ہے اور خیانت کرنے والوں کے حمایتی نہ بنو ۔

Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate.

اور ان کی طرف سے جھگڑا نہ کرو جو خود اپنی ہی خیانت کرتے ہیں یقیناً دغا باز گنہگار اللہ تعالٰی کو اچھا نہیں لگتا ۔

And do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Indeed, Allah loves not one who is a habitually sinful deceiver.

وہ لوگوں سے تو چھپ جاتے ہیں ( لیکن ) اللہ تعالٰی سے نہیں چھپ سکتے وہ راتوں کے وقت جب کہ اللہ کی ناپسندیدہ باتوں کے خفیہ مشورے کرتے ہیں اس وقت بھی اللہ ان کے پاس ہوتا ہے ، ان کے تمام اعمال کو وہ گھیرے ہوئے ہے ۔

They conceal [their evil intentions and deeds] from the people, but they cannot conceal [them] from Allah , and He is with them [in His knowledge] when they spend the night in such as He does not accept of speech. And ever is Allah , of what they do, encompassing.

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کی جگہ جہنم ہے جہاں سے انہیں چھٹکارہ نہ ملے گا ۔

The refuge of those will be Hell, and they will not find from it an escape.

حقیقت حال نہ تو تمہاری آرزو کے مطابق ہے اور نہ اہل کتاب کی امیدوں پر موقوف ہے ، جو برا کرے گا اس کی سزا پائے گا اور کسی کو نہ پائے گا جو اس کی حمایت و مدد ، اللہ کے پاس کر سکے ۔

Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper.

جو ایمان والا ہو مرد ہو یا عورت اور وہ نیک اعمال کرے ، یقیناً ایسے لوگ جنت میں جائیں گے اور کھجور کی گٹھلی کے شگاف کے برابر بھی ان کا حق نہ مارا جائے گا ۔

And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.

جن لوگوں نے ایمان قبول کر کے پھر کفر کیا ، پھر ایمان لاکر پھر کفر کیا پھر اپنے کفر میں بڑھ گئے ، اللہ تعالٰی یقیناً انہیں نہ بخشے گا اور نہ انہیں راہ ہدایت سمجھائے گا ۔

Indeed, those who have believed then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, and then increased in disbelief - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a way.

بیشک منافق اللہ سے چال بازیاں کر رہے ہیں اور وہ انہیں اس چالبازی کا بدلہ دینے والا ہے اور جب نماز کو کھڑے ہوتے ہیں تو بڑی کاہلی کی حالت میں کھڑے ہوتے ہیں صرف لوگوں کو دکھاتے ہیں اور یاد الٰہی تو یونہی سی برائے نام کرتے ہیں ۔

Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allah , but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little,

جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا اور ظلم کیا انہیں اللہ تعالٰی ہرگز ہرگز نہ بخشے گا اور نہ انہیں کوئی راہ دکھائے گا

Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path.

اے اہل کتاب !اپنے دین کے بارے میں حد سے نہ گزر جاؤ اور اللہ پر بجز حق کے اور کچھ نہ کہو مسیح عیسیٰ بن مریم ( علیہ السلام ) تو صرف اللہ تعالٰی کے رسول اور اس کے کلمہ ( کن سے پیدا شدہ ) ہیں جسے مریم ( علیہا السلام ) کی طرف ڈال دیا تھا اور اس کے پاس کی روح ہیں اس لئے تم اللہ کو اور اس کے سب رسولوں کو مانو اور نہ کہو کہ اللہ تین ہیں اس سے باز آجاؤ کہ تمہارے لئے بہتری ہے اللہ عبادت کے لائق تو صرف ایک ہی ہے اور وہ اس سے پاک ہے کہ اس کی اولاد ہو ، اسی کے لئے ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے ۔ اور اللہ کافی ہے کام بنانے والا ۔

O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

اے اہل کتاب !اپنے دین کے بارے میں حد سے نہ گزر جاؤ اور اللہ پر بجز حق کے اور کچھ نہ کہو مسیح عیسیٰ بن مریم ( علیہ السلام ) تو صرف اللہ تعالٰی کے رسول اور اس کے کلمہ ( کن سے پیدا شدہ ) ہیں جسے مریم ( علیہا السلام ) کی طرف ڈال دیا تھا اور اس کے پاس کی روح ہیں اس لئے تم اللہ کو اور اس کے سب رسولوں کو مانو اور نہ کہو کہ اللہ تین ہیں اس سے باز آجاؤ کہ تمہارے لئے بہتری ہے اللہ عبادت کے لائق تو صرف ایک ہی ہے اور وہ اس سے پاک ہے کہ اس کی اولاد ہو ، اسی کے لئے ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے ۔ اور اللہ کافی ہے کام بنانے والا ۔

مسیح ( علیہ السلام ) کو اللہ کا بندہ ہونے میں کوئی ننگ و عار یا تکبر و انکار ہرگز ہو ہی نہیں سکتا اور نہ مقرب فرشتوں کو اس کی بندگی سے جو بھی دل چرائے اور تکبر و انکار کرے اللہ تعالٰی ان سب کو اکٹھا اپنی طرف جمع کرے گا ۔

Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah , nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together.

اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالٰی کے شعائر کی بے حرمتی نہ کرو نہ ادب والے مہینوں کی نہ حرم میں قربان ہونے والے اور پٹے پہنائے گئے جانوروں کی جو کعبہ کو جا رہے ہوں اور نہ ان لوگوں کی جو بیت اللہ کے قصد سے اپنے رب تعالٰی کے فضل اور اس کی رضا جوئی کی نیت سے جا رہے ہوں ہاں جب تم احرام اتار ڈالو تو شکار کھیل سکتے ہو جن لوگوں نے تمہیں مسجد حرام سے روکا تھا ان کی دشمنی تمہیں اس بات پر امادہ نہ کرے کہ تم حد سے گزر جاؤ نیکی اور پرہیزگاری میں ایک دوسرے کی امداد کرتے رہو اور گناہ اورظلم زیادتی میں مدد نہ کرو اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی سخت سزا دینے والا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, do not violate the rites of Allah or [the sanctity of] the sacred month or [neglect the marking of] the sacrificial animals and garlanding [them] or [violate the safety of] those coming to the Sacred House seeking bounty from their Lord and [His] approval. But when you come out of ihram, then [you may] hunt. And do not let the hatred of a people for having obstructed you from al-Masjid al-Haram lead you to transgress. And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.

اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالٰی کے شعائر کی بے حرمتی نہ کرو نہ ادب والے مہینوں کی نہ حرم میں قربان ہونے والے اور پٹے پہنائے گئے جانوروں کی جو کعبہ کو جا رہے ہوں اور نہ ان لوگوں کی جو بیت اللہ کے قصد سے اپنے رب تعالٰی کے فضل اور اس کی رضا جوئی کی نیت سے جا رہے ہوں ہاں جب تم احرام اتار ڈالو تو شکار کھیل سکتے ہو جن لوگوں نے تمہیں مسجد حرام سے روکا تھا ان کی دشمنی تمہیں اس بات پر امادہ نہ کرے کہ تم حد سے گزر جاؤ نیکی اور پرہیزگاری میں ایک دوسرے کی امداد کرتے رہو اور گناہ اورظلم زیادتی میں مدد نہ کرو اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی سخت سزا دینے والا ہے ۔

کل پاکیزہ چیزیں آج تمہارے لئے حلال کی گئیں اور اہل کتاب کا ذبیحہ تمہارے لئے حلال ہے اور تمہارا ذبیحہ ان کے لئے حلال ، اور پاکدامن مسلمان عورتیں اور جو لوگ تم سے پہلے کتاب دیئے گئے ان کی پاک دامن عورتیں بھی حلال ہیں جب کہ تم ان کے مہر ادا کرو ، اس طرح کہ تم ان سے باقاعدہ نکاح کرو یہ نہیں کہ اعلانیہ زنا کرو یا پوشیدہ بدکاری کرو ، منکرین ایمان کے اعمال ضائع اور اکارت ہیں اور آخرت میں وہ ہارنے والوں میں سے ہیں ۔

This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

اے ایمان والو! تم اللہ کی خاطر حق پر قائم ہو جاؤ ، راستی اور انصاف کے ساتھ گواہی دینے والے بن جاؤ کسی قوم کی عداوت تمہیں خلاف عدل پر آمادہ نہ کر دے عدل کیا کرو جو پرہیز گاری کے زیادہ قریب ہے ، اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو ، یقین مانو کہ اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے اعمال سے باخبر ہے ۔

O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah , witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

پھر ان کی عہد شکنی کی وجہ سے ہم نے ان پر اپنی لعنت نازل فرما دی اور ان کے دل سخت کر دیئے کہ وہ کلام کو اسکی جگہ سے بدل ڈالتے ہیں اور جو کچھ نصیحت انہیں کی گئی تھی اس کا بہت بڑا حصہ بھلا بیٹھے ان کی ایک نہ ایک خیانت پر تجھے اطلاع ملتی رہے گی ہاں تھوڑے سے ایسے نہیں بھی ہیں پس تو انہیں معاف کرتا جا اور درگزر کرتا رہ بیشک اللہ تعالٰی احسان کرنے والوں سے محبت کرتا ہے ۔

So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their [proper] usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.

اے میری قوم والو! اس مقدس زمین میں داخل ہو جاؤ جو اللہ تعالٰی نے تمہارے نام لکھ دی ہے اور اپنی پشت کے بل روگردانی نہ کرو کہ پھر نقصان میں جا پڑو ۔

O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah 's cause] and [thus] become losers."

ہم نے تورات نازل فرمائی ہے جس میں ہدایت و نور ہے یہودیوں میں اسی تورات کے ساتھ اللہ تعالٰی کے ماننے والے ( انبیاء علیم السلام ) اور اہل اللہ اور علماء فیصلے کرتے تھے کیونکہ انہیں اللہ کی اس کتاب کی حفاظت کا حکم دیا گیا تھا اور وہ اس پر اقراری گواہ تھے اب تمہیں چاہیے کہ لوگوں سے نہ ڈرو اور صرف میرا ڈر رکھو ، میری آیتوں کو تھوڑے تھوڑے مول پر نہ بیچو اور جو لوگ اللہ کی اتاری ہوئی وحی کے ساتھ فیصلے نہ کریں وہ ( پورے اور پختہ ) کافر ہیں ۔

Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light. The prophets who submitted [to Allah ] judged by it for the Jews, as did the rabbis and scholars by that with which they were entrusted of the Scripture of Allah , and they were witnesses thereto. So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.

اور ہم نے آپ کی طرف حق کے ساتھ یہ کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے جو اپنے سے اگلی کتابوں کی تصدیق کرنے والی ہے اور ان کی محافظ ہے اس لئے آپ ان کے آپس کے معاملات میں اسی اللہ کی اُتاری ہوئی کتاب کے ساتھ حکم کیجئے ، اس حق سے ہٹ کر ان کی خواہشوں کے پیچھے نہ جائیے تم میں سے ہر ایک کے لئے ہم نے ایک دستور اور راہ مقرر کر دی اگر منظور مولٰی ہوتا تو تم سب کو ایک ہی امت بنا دیتا لیکن اس کی چاہت ہے کہ جو تمہیں دیا ہے اس میں تمہیں آزمائے تم نیکیوں کی طرف جلدی کرو تم سب کا رجوع اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے ، پھر وہ تمہیں ہر وہ چیز بتا دے گا ، جس میں تم اختلاف کرتے رہتے تھے ۔

And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To Allah is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.

آپ ان کے معاملات میں خدا کی نازل کردہ وحی کے مطابق ہی حکم کیا کیجئے ، ان کی خواہشوں کی تابعداری نہ کیجیئے اور ان سے ہوشیار رہیے کہ کہیں یہ آپ کو اللہ کے اتارے ہوئے کسی حکم سے ادھر ادھر نہ کریں اگر یہ لوگ منہ پھیر لیں تو یقین کریں کہ اللہ کا ارادہ یہی ہے کہ انہیں ان کے بعض گناہوں کی سزا دے ہی ڈالے اور اکثر لوگ نافرمان ہی ہوتے ہیں ۔

And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient.

اے ایمان والو! تم میں سے جو شخص اپنے دین سے پھر جائے تو اللہ تعالٰی بہت جلد ایسی قوم کو لائے گا جو اللہ کی محبوب ہوگی اور وہ بھی اللہ سے محبت رکھتی ہوگی وہ نرم دل ہوں گے مسلمانوں پر اور سخت اور تیز ہو ں گے کفار پر ، اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کریں گے اور کسی ملامت کرنے والے کی ملامت کی پرواہ بھی نہ کریں گے یہ ہے اللہ تعالٰی کا فضل جسے چاہے دے ، اللہ تعالٰی بڑی وسعت والا اور زبردست علم والا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion - Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah ; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

مسلمان ، یہودی ، ستارہ پرست اور نصرانی کوئی ہو ، جو بھی اللہ تعالٰی پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرے وہ محض بے خوف رہے گا اور بالکل بے غم ہو جائے گا ۔

Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

کہہ دیجئے اے اہل کتاب! اپنے دین میں ناحق غلو اور زیادتی نہ کرو اور ان لوگوں کی نفسانی خواہشوں کی پیروی نہ کرو جو پہلے سے بہک چکے ہیں اور بہتوں کو بہکا بھی چکے ہیں اور سیدھی راہ سے ہٹ گئے ہیں ۔

Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way."

اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالٰی نے جو پاکیزہ چیزیں تمہارے واسطے حلال کی ہیں ان کو حرام مت کرو اور حد سے آگے مت نکلو ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی حد سے نکلنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا ۔

O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors.

اے ایمان والو! تمہارے آپس میں دو شخص کا گواہ ہونا مناسب ہے جبکہ تم میں سے کسی کو موت آنے لگے اور وصیت کرنے کا وقت ہو وہ دو شخص ایسے ہوں کہ دیندار ہوں خواہ تم میں سے ہوں یا غیر لوگوں میں سے دو شخص ہوں اگر تم کہیں سفر میں گئے ہو اور تمہیں موت آجائے اگر تم کو شبہ ہو تو ان دونوں کو بعد نماز روک لو پھر دونوں اللہ کی قسم کھائیں کہ ہم اس قسم کے عوض کوئی نفع نہیں لینا چاہتے اگرچہ کوئی قرابت دار بھی ہو اور اللہ تعالٰی کی بات کو ہم پوشیدہ نہ کریں گے ہم اس حالت میں سخت گناہ گار ہوں گے ۔

O you who have believed, testimony [should be taken] among you when death approaches one of you at the time of bequest - [that of] two just men from among you or two others from outside if you are traveling through the land and the disaster of death should strike you. Detain them after the prayer and let them both swear by Allah if you doubt [their testimony, saying], "We will not exchange our oath for a price, even if he should be a near relative, and we will not withhold the testimony of Allah . Indeed, we would then be of the sinful."

آپ کہئے کہ کیا اللہ کے سوا ، جو کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے جو کہ کھانے کو دیتا ہے اور اس کو کوئی کھانے نہیں دیتا اور کسی کو معبود قرار دوں آپ فرما دیجئے کہ مجھ کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے میں اسلام قبول کروں اور تو مشرکین میں سے ہرگز نہ ہونا ۔

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah ] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' "

آپ کہئے کہ کیا اللہ کے سوا ، جو کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے جو کہ کھانے کو دیتا ہے اور اس کو کوئی کھانے نہیں دیتا اور کسی کو معبود قرار دوں آپ فرما دیجئے کہ مجھ کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے میں اسلام قبول کروں اور تو مشرکین میں سے ہرگز نہ ہونا ۔

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah ] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' "

اور اگر آپ اس وقت دیکھیں جب کہ یہ دوزخ کے پاس کھڑے کئے جائیں تو کہیں گے ہائے کیا اچھی بات ہو کہ ہم پھر واپس بھیج دیئے جائیں اور اگر ایسا ہو جائے تو ہم اپنے رب کی آیات کو جھوٹا نہ بتلائیں اور ہم ایمان والوں میں سے ہوجائیں ۔

If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, "Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth] and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers."

اور بہت سے پیغمبر جو آپ سے پہلے ہوئے ہیں ان کی بھی تکذیب کی جاچکی ہے سو انہوں نے اس پر صبر ہی کیا ، ان کی تکذیب کی گئی اور ان کو ایذائیں پہنچائی گئیں یہاں تک کہ کہ ہماری امداد ان کو پہنچی اور اللہ کی باتوں کا کوئی بدلنے والا نہیں اور آپ کے پاس بعض پیغمبروں کی بعض خبریں پہنچ چکی ہیں ۔

And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah . And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.

اور جتنے قسم کے جاندار زمین پر چلنے والے ہیں اور جتنے قسم کے پرند جانور ہیں کہ اپنے دونوں بازؤں سے اڑتے ہیں ان میں کوئی قسم ایسی نہیں جو کہ تمہاری طرح کے گروہ نہ ہوں ہم نے دفتر میں کوئی چیز نہیں چھوڑی پھر سب اپنے پروردگار کے پاس جمع کئے جائیں گے ۔

And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.

اور ہم پیغمبروں کو صرف اس واسطے بھیجا کرتے ہیں کہ وہ بشارت دیں ٰ اور ڈرائیں پھر جو ایمان لے آئے اور درستی کر لے سو ان لوگوں پر کوئی اندیشہ نہیں اور نہ وہ مغموم ہوں گے ۔

And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. So whoever believes and reforms - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

اور ان لوگوں کو نہ نکالئے جو صبح وشام اپنے پروردگار کی عبادت کرتے ہیں ، خاص اسی کی رضامندی کا قصد رکھتے ہیں ۔ ان کا حساب ذرا بھی آپ کے متعلق نہیں اور آپ کا حساب ذرا بھی ان کے متعلق نہیں کہ آپ ان کو نکال دیں ورنہ آپ ظلم کرنے والوں میں سے ہوجائیں گے ۔

And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His countenance. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.

اور اللہ تعالٰی ہی کے پاس ہیں غیب کی کنجیاں ( خزانے ) ان کو کوئی نہیں جانتا بجز اللہ تعالٰی کے اور وہ تمام چیزوں کو جانتا ہے جو کچھ خشکی میں ہے اور جو کچھ دریاؤں میں ہے اور کوئی پتا نہیں گرتا مگر وہ اس کو بھی جانتا ہے اور کوئی دانا زمین کے تاریک حصوں میں نہیں پڑتا اور نہ کوئی تر اور نہ کوئی خشک چیز گرتی ہے مگر یہ سب کتاب مبین میں ہیں ۔

And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.

اور اللہ تعالٰی ہی کے پاس ہیں غیب کی کنجیاں ( خزانے ) ان کو کوئی نہیں جانتا بجز اللہ تعالٰی کے اور وہ تمام چیزوں کو جانتا ہے جو کچھ خشکی میں ہے اور جو کچھ دریاؤں میں ہے اور کوئی پتا نہیں گرتا مگر وہ اس کو بھی جانتا ہے اور کوئی دانا زمین کے تاریک حصوں میں نہیں پڑتا اور نہ کوئی تر اور نہ کوئی خشک چیز گرتی ہے مگر یہ سب کتاب مبین میں ہیں ۔

And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ کیا ہم اللہ تعالٰی کے سوا ایسی چیز کو پکاریں کہ وہ نہ ہم کو نفع پہنچائے اور نہ ہم کو نقصان پہنچائے اور کیا ہم الٹے پھر جائیں اسکے بعد کہ ہم کو اللہ تعالٰی نے ہدایت کر دی ہے ، جیسے کوئی شخص ہو کہ اس کو شیطانوں نے کہیں جنگل میں بے راہ کر دیا ہو اور وہ بھٹکتا پھرتا ہو اس کے کچھ ساتھی بھی ہوں کہ وہ اس کو ہمارے پاس ٹھیک راستہ کی طرف بلارہے ہوں ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ یقینی بات ہے کہ راہ راست وہ خاص اللہ ہی کی راہ ہے اور ہم کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ ہم پروردگار عالم کے پورے مطیع ہوجائیں ۔

Say, "Shall we invoke instead of Allah that which neither benefits us nor harms us and be turned back on our heels after Allah has guided us? [We would then be] like one whom the devils enticed [to wander] upon the earth confused, [while] he has companions inviting him to guidance, [calling], 'Come to us.' " Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance; and we have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds.

اور میں ان چیزوں سے کیسے ڈروں جن کو تم نے شریک بنایا ہے حالانکہ تم اس بات سے نہیں ڈرتے کہ تم نے اللہ کے ساتھ ایسی چیزوں کو شریک ٹھہرایا ہے جن پر اللہ تعالٰی نے کوئی دلیل نازل نہیں فرمائی ، سو ان دو جماعتوں میں سے امن کا زیادہ مستحق کون ہے اگر تم خبر رکھتے ہو ۔

And how should I fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with Allah that for which He has not sent down to you any authority? So which of the two parties has more right to security, if you should know?
