And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah , lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.
Aur gaali mat do unn ko jin ki yeh log Allah Taalaa ko chor ker ibadat kertay hain kiyon kay phir woh ba-raah-e-jahal hadd say guzar ker Allah Taalaa ki shaan mein gustakhi keren gay hum ney iss tarah her tareeqay walon ko unn ka amal marghoob bana rakha hai. Phir apney rab hi kay pass inn ko jana hai so woh inn ko batla dey ga jo kuch bhi woh kiya kertay thay.
और अल्लाह के सिवा जिनको ये लोग पुकारते हैं उनको गाली न दो वर्ना ये लोग हद से गुज़र कर जिहालत की वजह से अल्लाह को गालियाँ देने लगेंगे, इसी तरह हमने हर गिरोह की नज़र में उसके अमल को ख़ुशनुमा बना दिया है, फिर उन सबको अपने रब की तरफ़ लौटना है, उस वक़्त अल्लाह उन्हें बता देगा जो वे करते थे।
And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].
Aur aisay janwaron mein say mat khao jin per Allah ka naam na liya gaya ho aur yeh kaam na farmani ka hai aur yaqeenan shayateen apney doston kay dilon mein daaltay hain takay yeh tum say jidal keren aur agar tum inn logon ki ita’at kerney lago to yaqeenan tum mushrik hojao.
और तुम उस जानवर में से न खाओ जिस पर अल्लाह का नाम न लिया गया हो, यक़ीनन यह गुनाह की बात है, और शयातीन अपने साथियों के दिलों में (वसवसे) डाल रहे हैं ताकि वे तुम से झगड़ें, और अगर तुम उनका कहा मानोगे तो तुम भी मुशरिक हो जाओगे।
And He it is who causes gardens to grow, [both] trellised and untrellised, and palm trees and crops of different [kinds of] food and olives and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar. Eat of [each of] its fruit when it yields and give its due [zakah] on the day of its harvest. And be not excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess.
Aur wohi hai jiss ney baghaat peda kiye woh bhi jo tattiyon per charhaye jatay hain aur woh bhi jo tattiyon per nahi charhaye jatay aur khujoor kay adrakht aur kheti jin mein khaney ki cheezen mukhatalif tor ki hoti hain aur zaitoon aur anaar jo bahum aik doosray kay mushabay bhi hotay hain aur aik doosray kay mushabay nahi bhi hotay inn sab kay phalon mein say khao jab woh nikal aaye aue iss mein jo haq wajib hai woh iss kay kaatney kay din diya kero aur hadd say mat guzro yaqeenan woh hadd say guzarney walon ko na pasand kerta hai.
और वह अल्लाह ही है जिसने ऐसे बाग़ात पैदा किए (जिनमें से) कुछ टट्टियों पर चढ़ाए जाते हैं और कुछ नहीं चढ़ाए जाते, और खजूर के दरख़्त और खेती कि उसके खाने की चीज़ें मुख़्तलिफ़ होती हैं और ज़ैतून और अनार बाहम मिलते-जुलते भी और एक-दूसरे से मुख़्तलिफ़ भी, खाओ उनकी पैदावार जबकि वे फलें और अल्लाह का हक़ अदा करो उसके काटने के दिन, और फ़ज़ूलख़र्ची न करो बेशक अल्लाह फ़ज़ूलख़र्ची करने वालों कों पसंद नहीं करता।
And of the grazing livestock are carriers [of burdens] and those [too] small. Eat of what Allah has provided for you and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
Aur mawashi mein oonchay qad kay aur chotay qad kay ( peda kiye ) jo kuch Allah ney tum ko diya hai khao aur shetan kay qadam ba qadam mat chalo bila shak woh tumhara sareeh dushman hai.
और चौपायों में से अल्लाह ने वे जानवर भी पैदा किए जो बोझ उठाते हैं और वे भी जो ज़मीन से लगे हुए होते हैं, अल्लाह ने जो रिज़्क़ तुम्हें दिया है उस में से खाओ और शैतान के नक़्शे-क़दम पर न चलो, यक़ीन जानो कि वे तुम्हारे लिए खुला दुश्मन है।
So if they deny you, [O Muhammad], say, "Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals."
Phir agar yeh aap ko kaazib kahen to aap farma dijiye kay tumhara rab bara wasee rehmat wala hai aur iss ka azab mujrim logon say na talay ga.
पस अगर वे आपको झुठलाएं तो आप कह दें कि तुम्हारा रब तो बड़ी वसीअ़ रहमत वाला है, और उसका अज़ाब मुजरिम लोगों से फेरा नहीं जा सकता।
Those who associated with Allah will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have associated [anything] and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything." Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. Say, "Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? You follow not except assumption, and you are not but falsifying."
Yeh mushrikeen ( yun ) kahen gay kay agar Allah Taalaa ko manzoor hota to na hum shirk kertay aur na humaray baap dada aur na hum kissi cheez ko haram keh saktay. Issi tarah jo log inn say pehlay ho chukay hain unhon ney bhi takzeeb ki thi yahan tak kay unhon ney humaray azab ka maza chakha. Aap kahiye kay kiya tumharay pass koi daleel hai to iss ko humaray roo baroo zahir kero. Tum log mehaz khayali baaton per chaltay ho aur tum bilkul atkal say baaten banatay ho.
जिन्होंने शिर्क किया वे कहेंगे कि अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो न हम शिर्क करते और न हमारे बाप-दादा करते और न हम किसी चीज़ को हराम कर लेते, इसी तरह झुठलाया उन लोगें ने भी जो इससे पहले हुए थे यहाँ तक कि उन्होंने हमारा अज़ाब चखा, आप पूछिए कि क्या तुम्हारे पास कोई इल्म है जिसको तुम हमारे सामने पेश करो, तुम तो सिर्फ़ गुमान के पीछे चल रहे हो और महज़ अंदाज़ों से काम ले रहे हो।
Say, [O Muhammad], "Bring forward your witnesses who will testify that Allah has prohibited this." And if they testify, do not testify with them. And do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses and those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while they equate [others] with their Lord.
Aap kahiye kay apney gawahon ko lao jo iss baat per shahadat den kay Allah ney inn cheezon ko haram ker diya hai phir agar woh gawahi dey den to aap iss ki shahadat na dijiye aur aisay logon kay baatil khayalaat ka ittabaa mat kijiye! Jo humari aayaton ki takzeeb kertay hain aur woh jo aakhirat per eman nahi rakhtay aur woh apney rab kay barabar doosron ko thehratay hain.
कह दीजिए कि अपने गवाहों को लाओ जो इस पर गवाही दें कि अल्लाह ने उन चीज़ों को हराम ठहराया है, अगर वे झूठी गवाही दे भी दें तो आप उनके साथ गवाही न देना, और आप उन लोगों की ख़्वाहिशों की पैरवी न करें जिन्होंने हमारी निशानियों को झुठलाया और जो आख़िरत पर ईमान नहीं रखते और दूसरों को अपने रब का हमसर ठहराते हैं।
Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."
Aap kahiye kay aao mein tum ko woh cheezen parh ker sunaon jin ( yani jin ki mukhalifat ) ko tumharay rab ney tum per haram farma diya hai woh yeh kay Allah kay sath kissi cheez ko shareek mat thehrao aur maa baap kay sath ehsan kero aur apni aulad ko aflaas kay sabab qatal mat kero. Hum tum ko aur unn ko rizk detay hain aur bey hayaee kay jitney tareeqay hain unn kay pass bhi mat jao khuwa woh aelaaniya hon khuwa posheeda aur jiss ka khoon kerna Allah Taalaa ney haram ker diya hai uss ko qatal mat kero haan magar haq kay sath inn ka tum ko takeedi hukum diya hai takay tum samjho.
आप कहिए कि आओ मैं सुनाऊँ वे चीज़ें जो तुम्हारे रब ने तुम पर हराम की हैं, यह कि तुम उसके साथ किसी चीज़ को शरीक न करो, और माँ-बाप के साथ नेक सलूक करो और अपनी औलाद को मुफ़्लिसी के डर से क़त्ल न करो, हम तुमको भी रोज़ी देते हैं और उनको भी, और बेहयाई के कामों के पास न जाओ चाहे वे खुलेआम हों या छुपे हुए, और जिस जान को अल्लाह ने हराम ठहराया उसको नाहक़ क़त्ल न करो, ये बातें हैं जिनकी अल्लाह ने तुम्हें हिदायत फ़रमाई है ताकि तुम अक़्ल से काम लो।

आप कहिए कि आओ मैं सुनाऊँ वे चीज़ें जो तुम्हारे रब ने तुम पर हराम की हैं, यह कि तुम उसके साथ किसी चीज़ को शरीक न करो, और माँ-बाप के साथ नेक सलूक करो और अपनी औलाद को मुफ़्लिसी के डर से क़त्ल न करो, हम तुमको भी रोज़ी देते हैं और उनको भी, और बेहयाई के कामों के पास न जाओ चाहे वे खुलेआम हों या छुपे हुए, और जिस जान को अल्लाह ने हराम ठहराया उसको नाहक़ क़त्ल न करो, ये बातें हैं जिनकी अल्लाह ने तुम्हें हिदायत फ़रमाई है ताकि तुम अक़्ल से काम लो।
And do not approach the orphan's property except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity. And when you testify, be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember.
Aur yateem kay maal kay pass na jao magar aisay tareeqay say jo kay mustehsan hai yahan tak kay woh apney sann rashd ko phonch jaye aur naap tol poori poori kero insaf kay sath hum kissi shaks ko uss ki taqat say ziyada takleef nahi detay. Aur jab tum baat kero to insaf kero go woh shaks qarabat daar hi ho aur Allah Taalaa say jo ehad kiya uss ko poora kero inn ka Allah Taalaa ney tum ko takeedi hukum diya hai takay tum yaad rakho.
और यतीम के माल के पास न जाओ मगर ऐसे तरीक़े पर जो बेहतर हो यहाँ तक कि वे अपनी जवानी को पहुँच जाए, और नाप-तौल में पूरा इंसाफ़ करो, हम किसी के ज़िम्मे वही चीज़ लाज़िम करते हैं जिसकी उसे ताक़त हो, और जब बोलो तो इंसाफ़ की बात बोलो चाहे मामला अपनी रिश्तेदारी ही का हो, और अल्लाह के अहद को पूरा करो, ये चीज़ें हैं जिनका अल्लाह ने तुम्हें हुक्म दिया है; ताकि तुम नसीहत पकड़ो।
And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous.
Aur yeh kay yeh deen mera raasta hai jo mustaqeem hai so iss raah per chalo aur doosri raahon per mat chalo kay woh raahen tum ko Allah ki raah say juda ker den gi. Iss ka tum ko Allah ney takeedi hukum diya hai takay tum perhezgari ikhtiyar kero.
और (अल्लाह ने हुक्म दिया कि) यही मेरा सीधा रास्ता है पस उसी पर चलो और दूसरे रास्तों पर न चलो कि वे तुमको अल्लाह के रास्ते से जुदा कर देंगे, यह अल्लाह ने तुमको हुक्म दिया है; ताकि तुम बचते रहो।
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."
Aap farma dijiya kay kiya mein Allah kay siwa kissi aur ko rab bananey kay liye talash keroon halankay woh maalik hai her cheez ka aur jo shaks bhi koi amal kerta hai woh ussi per rehta hai aur koi kissi doosray ka bojh na uthaye ga. Phir tum sab ko apney rab kay pass jana hoga. Phir woh tum ko jatlaye ga jiss jiss cheez mein tum ikhtilaf kertay thay.
कहिए कि क्या में अल्लाह के सिवा कोई और रब तलाश करूँ जबकि वही हर चीज़ का रब है, और जो शख़्स भी कोई कमाई करता है वह उसी पर रहती है और कोई बोझ उठाने वाला दूसरे का बोझ न उठाएगा, फिर तुम्हारे रब ही की तरफ़ तुम्हारा लौटना है पस वह तुम्हें बता देगा वह चीज़ जिसमें तुम इख़्तिलाफ़ करते थे।
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."

कहिए कि क्या में अल्लाह के सिवा कोई और रब तलाश करूँ जबकि वही हर चीज़ का रब है, और जो शख़्स भी कोई कमाई करता है वह उसी पर रहती है और कोई बोझ उठाने वाला दूसरे का बोझ न उठाएगा, फिर तुम्हारे रब ही की तरफ़ तुम्हारा लौटना है पस वह तुम्हें बता देगा वह चीज़ जिसमें तुम इख़्तिलाफ़ करते थे।
Follow, [O mankind], what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other than Him any allies. Little do you remember.
Tum log uss ki ittabaa kero jo tumharay rab ki taraf say aaee hai aur Allah Taalaa ko chor ker mann gharat sir paraston ki ittabaa mat kero tum log boht hi kum naseehat pakartay ho.
जो उतरा है तुम्हारी जानिब तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से उसकी पैरवी करो और उसके सिवा दूसरे सरपरस्तों की पैरवी न करो, तुम बहुत कम नसीहत मानते हो।
Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to You]."
Phir inn per hamla keroon ga aur inn kay aagay say bhi aur inn kay peechay say bhi aur inn ki dhaani janib say bhi aur inn ki bayen janib say bhi aur aap inn mein say aksar ko shukar guzar na payiye ga.
फिर उन पर आऊँगा उनके आगे से और उनके पीछे से और उनके दाएं से और उनके बाएं से, और तू उनमें से अकसर को शुक्रगुज़ार न पाएगा।
And "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat from wherever you will but do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."
Aur hum ney hukum diya kay aey aadam! Tum aur tumhari biwi jannat mein raho. Phir jiss jagah say chahao dono khao aur uss darakht kay pass mat jao werna tum dono zalimon mein say hojao gay.
और ऐ आदम! तुम और तुम्हारी बीवी जन्नत में रहो और खाओ जहाँ से चाहो, मगर उस दरख़्त के पास न जाना वर्ना तुम नुक़सान उठाने वालों में से हो जाओगे।
O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.
Aey aulad-e-aadam! Tum masjid ki her hazri kay waqt apna libas pehan liya kero. Aur khoob khao aur piyo aur hadd say mat niklo. Be-shak Allah hadd say nikal janey walon ko pasand nahi kerta.
ऐ आदम की औलाद! हर नमाज़ के वक़्त अपना लिबास पहनो और खाओ-पियो और हद से तजावुज़ न करो, बेशक अल्लाह हद से तजावुज़ करने वालों को पसंद नहीं करता।
O children of Adam, if there come to you messengers from among you relating to you My verses, then whoever fears Allah and reforms - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Aey aulad-e-aadam! Agar tumharay pass payghumbar aayen jo tum hi mein say hon jo meray ehkaam tum say biyan keren to jo shaks taqwa ikhtiyar keray aur durusti keray so inn logon per na kuch andesha hai aur na woh ghumgeen hongay.
ऐ आदम की औलाद! अगर तुम्हारे पास तुम ही में से रसूल आएं जो तुमको मेरी आयात सुनाएं तो जो शख़्स डरा और जिसने इस्लाह कर ली उनके लिए न कोई ख़ौफ़ होगा और न वे ग़मगीन होंगे।
Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals.
Jin logon ney humari aayaton ko jhutlaya aur inn say takbbur kiya unn kay liye aasman kay darwazay na kholay jayen gay aur woh log kabhi jannat mein na jayengay jab tak oont sui kay nakay kay andar say na chala jaye aur hum mujrim logon ko aisi hi saza detay hain.
बेशक जिन लोगों ने हमारी निशानियों को झुठलाया और उनसे तकब्बुर किया उनके लिए आसमान के दरवाज़े नहीं खोले जाएंगे और वे जन्नत में दाख़िल न होंगे जब तक कि ऊँट सूई के नाके में न घुस जाए, और हम मुजरिमों को ऐसी ही सज़ा देते हैं।
And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.
Aur duniya mein iss kay iss ki durusti kerdi gaee hai fasaad mat phelao aur tum Allah ki ibadat kero uss say dartay huye aur umeed waar rehtay huye. Be-shak Allah Taalaa ki rehmat nek kaam kerney walon kay nazdik hai.
और ज़मीन में फ़साद न करो उसकी इस्लाह के बाद और उसी को पुकारो ख़ौफ़ और उम्मीद के साथ, यक़ीनन अल्लाह की रहमत नेक काम करने वालों से क़रीब है।
And to the Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. This is the she-camel of Allah [sent] to you as a sign. So leave her to eat within Allah 's land and do not touch her with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.
Aur hum ney samood ki taraf unn kay bhai saleh ( alh-e-salam ) ko bheja. Unhon ney farmaya aey meri qom! Tum Allah ki ibadat kero uss kay siwa koi tumhara mabood nahi. Tumharay pass tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say aik wazeh daleel aa chuki hai. Yeh oontni hai Allah ki jo tumharay liye daleel hai so iss ko chor do kay Allah Taalaa ki zamin mein khati phiray aur issko buraee kay sath haath bhi na lagana kay kahin tum ko dard naak azab aa pakray.
और समूद की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई सालेह (अलै॰) को भेजा, उन्होंने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो, उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से एक खुली हुई निशानी आ चुकी है, यह अल्लाह की ऊँटनी तुम्हारे लिए एक निशानी के तौर पर है पस उसको छोड़ दो कि वह खाए अल्लाह की ज़मीन में और उसे किसी बुराई के इरादे से छूना भी नहीं वर्ना तुमको उनका एक दर्दनाक अज़ाब पकड़ लेगा।
And remember when He made you successors after the 'Aad and settled you in the land, [and] you take for yourselves palaces from its plains and carve from the mountains, homes. Then remember the favors of Allah and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
Aur tum yeh halat yaad kero kay Allah Taalaa ney tum ko aad kay baad janasheen banaya aur tum ko zamin per rehney ka thikana diya kay naram zamin per mehal banatay ho aur paharon ko taraash taraash ker unn mein ghar banatay ho so Allah Taalaa ki nematon ko yaad kero aur zamin mein fasaad mat phelao.
और याद करो जबकि अल्लाह ने आद के बाद तुमको जानशीन बनाया और तुमको ज़मीन में ठिकाना दिया, तुम उसके मैदानों में महल बनाते हो और पहाड़ों को तराश कर घर बनाते हो, पस अल्लाह की नेमतों को याद करो और ज़मीन में फ़साद करते न फिरो।
And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. So fulfill the measure and weight and do not deprive people of their due and cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. That is better for you, if you should be believers.
Aur hum ney madiyan ki taraf unn kay bhai shoaib ( alh-e-salam ) ko bheja. Unhon ney farmaya aey meri qom! Tum Allah ki ibadat kero iss kay siwa koi tumhara mabood nahi tumharay pass tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say wazeh daleel aa chuki hai. Pus tum naap aur tol poora poora kiya kero aur logon ko unn ki cheezen kum kerkay mat do aur ruy-e-zamin mein iss kay baad kay iss ki durusti ker di gaee fasaad mat phelao yeh tumharay liye naafay hai agar tum tasdeeq kero.
और मदयन की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई शुऐब को भेजा, उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो जिसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से दलील पहुँच चुकी है पस नाप-तौल पूरा करो और मत घटाकर दो लोगों को उनकी चीज़ें, और फ़साद न मचाओ ज़मीन में उसकी इस्लाह के बाद, यह तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है अगर तुम मोमिन हो।
And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. So fulfill the measure and weight and do not deprive people of their due and cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. That is better for you, if you should be believers.

और मदयन की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई शुऐब को भेजा, उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो जिसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से दलील पहुँच चुकी है पस नाप-तौल पूरा करो और मत घटाकर दो लोगों को उनकी चीज़ें, और फ़साद न मचाओ ज़मीन में उसकी इस्लाह के बाद, यह तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है अगर तुम मोमिन हो।
And do not sit on every path, threatening and averting from the way of Allah those who believe in Him, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. And remember when you were few and He increased you. And see how was the end of the corrupters.
Aur tum sarkaon per iss gharz say nahi betha kero kay Allah per eman laney walay ko dhamkiyan do aur Allah ki raah say roko aur iss mein kuji ki talash mein lagay raho. Aur uss halat ko yaad kero jabkay tum kum thay phir Allah ney tum ko ziyada ker diya aur dekho kay kaisa anjam hua fasaad kerney walon ka.
और रास्तों पर मत बैठो कि डराओ और अल्लाह की राह से उन लोगों को रोको जो उस पर ईमान ला चुके हैं और उसकी राह में कजी (टेढ़ापन) तलाश करो, और याद करो जबकि तुम बहुत थोड़े थे फिर उसने तुमको बढ़ा दिया, और देखो फ़साद मचाने वालों का क्या अंजाम हुआ।
And We made an appointment with Moses for thirty nights and perfected them by [the addition of] ten; so the term of his Lord was completed as forty nights. And Moses said to his brother Aaron, "Take my place among my people, do right [by them], and do not follow the way of the corrupters."
Aur hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) say tees raaton kay wada kiya aur dus raat mazeed say inn tees raaton ko poora kiya. So inn kay perwerdigar ka waqt pooray chalees raat ka hogaya. Aur musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney apney bhai haroon ( alh-e-salam ) say kaha kay meray baad inn kay intizam rakhna aur islah kertay rehna aur bad nazam logon ki raaye per amal mat kerna.
और हमने मूसा (अलै॰) से तीस रातों का वादा किया और उसको पूरा किया मज़ीद दस रातों से तो उसके रब की मुद्दत चालीस रातों में पूरी हुई, और मूसा (अलै॰) ने अपने भाई हारून (अलै॰) से कहाः मेरे पीछे तुम मेरी क़ौम में जानशीनी करना, इस्लाह करते रहना और बिगाड़ पैदा करने वालों के तरीक़े पर न चलना।
And the people of Moses made, after [his departure], from their ornaments a calf - an image having a lowing sound. Did they not see that it could neither speak to them nor guide them to a way? They took it [for worship], and they were wrongdoers.
Aur musa ( alh-e-salam ) ki qom ney unn kay baad apney zewaron ka aik bachra mabood thehra liya jo kay aik qalib tha jiss mein aik aawaz thi. Kiya enhon ney yeh na dekha kay woh inn say baat nahi kerta tha aur na inn ko koi raah batlata tha uss ko enhon ney mabood qarar diya aur bari bey insafi ka kaam kiya.
और मूसा (अलै॰) की क़ौम ने उस (के जाने) के बाद अपने ज़ेवरों से एक बछड़ा बनाया, एक धड़ जिससे बैल की सी आवाज़ निकलती थी, क्या उन्होंने नहीं देखा कि वह न उनसे बोलता और न उन्हें कोई राह दिखाता है, उसको उन्होंने माबूद बना लिया और वह बड़े ज़ालिम थे।
And when Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved, he said, "How wretched is that by which you have replaced me after [my departure]. Were you impatient over the matter of your Lord?" And he threw down the tablets and seized his brother by [the hair of] his head, pulling him toward him. [Aaron] said, "O son of my mother, indeed the people oppressed me and were about to kill me, so let not the enemies rejoice over me and do not place me among the wrongdoing people."
Aur jab musa ( alh-e-salam ) apni qom ki taraf wapis aaye gussay aur ranj mein bharay huye to farmaya kay tum ney meray baad yeh bari buri janasheeni ki? Kiya apney rab kay hukum say pehlay hi tum ney jald baazi ker li aur jaldi say takhtiyan aik taraf rakhin aur apney bhai kay sir pakar ker unn ko apni taraf ghaseetney lagay. Haroon ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha aey meray maa jaye! Inn logon ney mujh ko bey haqeeqat samjha aur qareeb tha kay mujh ko qatal ker dalen to tum mujh per dushmanon ko mat hansao aur mujh ko inn zalimon kay zail mein mat shumar kero.
और जब मूसा (अलै॰) रंज और ग़ुस्से में भरे हुए अपनी क़ौम की तरफ़ लौटे तो उन्होंने कहाः तुमने मेरे बाद मेरी बहुत बुरी जानशीनी की, क्या तुमने अपने रब के हुक्म से पहले ही जल्दी कर ली? और उसने तख़्तियाँ डाल दीं और वे अपने भाई का सर पकड़ कर उसको अपनी तरफ़ ख़ींचने लगे, हारून (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ मेरी माँ के बेटे! लोगों ने मुझे कमज़ोर समझा था और क़रीब था कि वे मुझको मार डालें, पस आप दुश्मनों को मेरे ऊपर हँसने का मौक़ा न दें और मुझको ज़ालिमों के साथ शामिल न करें।
And the false deities are unable to [give] them help, nor can they help themselves.
Aur woh inn ko kissi qisam ki madad nahi dey saktay aur woh khud bhi madad nahi ker saktay.
और वे न उनकी किसी क़िस्म की मदद कर सकते हैं और न ही अपनी मदद कर सकते हैं।
And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear without being apparent in speech - in the mornings and the evenings. And do not be among the heedless.
Aur aey shaks! Apney rab ki yaad kiya ker apney dil mein aajzi kay sath aur khof kay sath aur zor ki aawaz ki nisbat kum aawaz kay sath subha aur shaam aur ehal-e-ghaflat mein say mat hona.
और अपने रब को सुबह व शाम याद करें अपने दिल में आजिज़ी और ख़ौफ़ के साथ और पस्त-आवाज़ से, और ग़ाफ़िलों में से न बनें।
O you who have believed, obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn from him while you hear [his order].
Aey eman walo! Allah ka aur uss kay rasool ka kaha mano aur uss ( ka kaha mannay ) say roo-gardani mat kero suntay jantay huye.
ऐ ईमान वालो! अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की इताअत करो और उससे मुँह न मोड़ो हालाँकि तुम सुन रहे हो।
And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while they do not hear.
Aur tum unn logon ki tarah mat hona jo dawa to kertay hain kay hum ney sunn liya halankay woh suntay ( sunatay kuch ) nahi.
और उन लोगों की तरह न हो जाओ जिन्होंने कहा कि हमने सुना हालाँकि वे नहीं सुनते।
And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
Aur Allah ki aur uss kay rasool ki farman bardari kertay raho aapas mein ikhtilaf na kero werna buzdil hojao gay aur tumhari hawa ukhar jaye gi aur sabar-o-sahaar rakho yaqeenan Allah Taalaa sabar kerney walon kay sath hai.
और इताअत करो अल्लाह की और उसके रसूल की और आपस में झगड़ा न करो वर्ना तुम्हारे अंदर कमज़ोरी आ जाएगी और तुम्हारी हवा उखड़ जाएगी, और सब्र करो बेशक अल्लाह सब्र करने वालों के साथ है।
And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And Allah is encompassing of what they do.
Unn logon jaisay na bano jo itratay huye aur logon mein khud numaee kertay huye apney gharon say chalay aur Allah ki raah say roktay thay jo kuch woh ker rahey hain Allah ussay gher lenay wala hai.
और उन लोगों की तरह मत बनो जो अपने घरों से अकड़ते हुए और लोगों को दिखाते हुए निकले और अल्लाह की राह से रोकते हैं; हालाँकि वे जो कुछ कर रहे हैं अल्लाह उनका इहाता किए हुए है।
And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah ].
Kafir yeh khayal na keren kay woh bhaag niklay. Yaqeenan woh aajiz nahi ker saktay.
और इनकार करने वाले यह न समझें कि वे निकल भागेंगे, वे हरगिज़ अल्लाह को आजिज़ नहीं कर सकते।
Do you think that you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah , His Messenger and the believers as intimates? And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
Kiya tum yeh samajh bethay ho kay tum chor diye jao gay halankay kay abb tak Allah ney tum mein unhen mumtaz nahi kiya jo mujahid hain aur jinhon ney Allah kay aur uss kay rasool kay aur mominon kay siwa kissi ko wali dost nahi banaya Allah khoob khabar daar hai jo tum ker rahey ho.
क्या तुम्हारा यह गुमान है कि तुम छोड़ दिए जाओगे हालाँकि अभी अल्लाह ने तुम में से उन लोगों को देखा ही नहीं जिन्होंने जिहाद किया और जिन्होंने अल्लाह और रसूल और मोमिनीन के सिवा किसी को दोस्त नहीं बनाया, और अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ तुम करते हो।
Do you think that you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah , His Messenger and the believers as intimates? And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

क्या तुम्हारा यह गुमान है कि तुम छोड़ दिए जाओगे हालाँकि अभी अल्लाह ने तुम में से उन लोगों को देखा ही नहीं जिन्होंने जिहाद किया और जिन्होंने अल्लाह और रसूल और मोमिनीन के सिवा किसी को दोस्त नहीं बनाया, और अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ तुम करते हो।
Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.
Unn logon say laro jo Allah per aur qayamat kay din per eman nahi latay jo Allah aur uss kay rasool ki haram kerda shey ko haram nahi jantay na deen-e-haq ko qabool kertay hain unn logon mein say jinhen kitab di gaee hai yahan tak kay woh zaleel-o-khuwar hoker apney hath say jizya ada keren.
उन अहले-किताब से लड़ो जो न अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते हैं और न आख़िरत के दिन पर और न अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के हराम ठहराए हुए को हराम ठहराते हैं और न दीने-हक़ को अपना दीन बनाते हैं, यहाँ तक कि वे अपने हाथ से जिज़्या दें और छोटे बनकर रहें।

O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
Aey eman walo! Aksar ulama aur abid logon ka maal na haq kha jatay hain aur Allah ki raah say rok detay hain aur jo log soney chandi ka khazana rakhtay hain aur Allah ki raah mein kharach nahi kertay unhen dard naak azab ki khabar phoncha dijiye.
ऐ ईमान वालो! बेशक अहले-किताब के अकसर उलमा और मशाइख़ लोगों के माल बातिल तरीक़ों से खाते हैं और लोगों को अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोकते हैं, और जो लोग सोना और चाँदी जमा करके रखते हैं और उनको अल्लाह की राह में ख़र्च नहीं करते उनको एक दर्दनाक अज़ाब की ख़ुश-ख़बरी दे दीजिए।
If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent.
Agar tum ney kooch na kiya to tumhen Allah Taalaa dard naak saza dey ga aur tumharay siwa aur logon ko badal laye ga tum Allah Taalaa ko koi nuksan nahi phoncha saktay aur Allah her cheez per qadir hai.
अगर तुम न निकलोगे तो अल्लाह तुमको दर्दनाक सज़ा देगा और तुम्हारी जगह दूसरी क़ौम ले अएगा और तुम अल्लाह का कुछ भी न बिगाड़ सकोगे, और अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है।
And among them is he who says, "Permit me [to remain at home] and do not put me to trial." Unquestionably, into trial they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers.
Inn mein say koi to kehta hai mujhay ijazat dijiye mujhay fitnay mein na daliye aagah raho woh to fitnay mein parr chukay hain aur yaqeenan dozakh kafiron ko gher leney wali hai.
और उनमें वे भी हैं जो कहते हैं कि मुझे रुख़्सत दे दीजिए और मुझको फ़ित्ने में न डालिए, सुन लो! वे तो फ़ित्ने में पड़ चुके, और बेशक जहन्नम मुनकिरों को घेरे हुए है।
And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling.
Koi sabab unn kay kharach ki qabooliyat kay na honey ka iss kay siwa nahi kay yeh Allah aur uss kay rasool kay munkir hain aur bari kaahili say hi namaz ko aatay hain aur buray dil say hi kharach kertay hain.
और वे अपने ख़र्च की क़बूलियत से सिर्फ़ इसलिए महरूम हुए कि उन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का इनकार किया और ये लोग नमाज़ के लिए आते हैं तो सुस्ती के साथ आते हैं और ख़र्च करते हैं तो नागवारी के साथ।
And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling.
Koi sabab unn kay kharach ki qabooliyat kay na honey ka iss kay siwa nahi kay yeh Allah aur uss kay rasool kay munkir hain aur bari kaahili say hi namaz ko aatay hain aur buray dil say hi kharach kertay hain.
और वे अपने ख़र्च की क़बूलियत से सिर्फ़ इसलिए महरूम हुए कि उन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का इनकार किया और ये लोग नमाज़ के लिए आते हैं तो सुस्ती के साथ आते हैं और ख़र्च करते हैं तो नागवारी के साथ।
And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muhammad], over any of them who has died - ever - or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.
Inn mein say koi marr jaye to aap uss kay janazay ki hergiz namaz na parhen aur na uss ki qabar per kharay hon. Yeh Allah aur uss kay rasool kay munkir hain aur martay dum tak bad kaar bey ita’at rahen hain.
और उनमें से जो कोई मर जाए उस पर आप कभी नमाज़ न पढ़ें और न उसकी क़ब्र पर खड़े रहें, बेशक उन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का इनकार किया और वे इस हाल में मरे कि वे नाफ़रमान थे।
And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.
Aap ko inn kay maal-o-aulad kuch bhi bhalay na lagen! Allah ki chahat yehi hai kay enhen inn cheezon say dunyawi saza dey aur yeh apni janen nikalney tak kafir hi rahen.
और उनके माल और उनकी औलाद आपको तअज्जुब में न डालें, अल्लाह तो बस यह चाहता है कि इनके ज़रिए से उनको दुनिया में अज़ाब दे और उनकी जानें इस हाल में निकलें कि वे मुनकिर हों।
There is not upon the weak or upon the ill or upon those who do not find anything to spend any discomfort when they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is not upon the doers of good any cause [for blame]. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Zaeefon aur beemaron per aur unn per jin kay pass kharach kerney ko kuch bhi nahi koi haraj nahi ba-shart-e-kay woh Allah aur uss kay rasool ki khair khuwaee kertay rahen aisay nek kaaron per ilzam ki koi raah nahi Allah Taalaa bari maghfirat-o-rehmat wala hai.
कोई गुनाह नहीं है कमज़ोरों पर और न बीमारों पर और न उन पर जो ख़र्च करने को कुछ नहीं पाते जबकि वे अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के साथ ख़ैर-ख़्वाही करें, नेकी करने वालों पर कोई इल्ज़ाम नहीं, और अल्लाह बख़्शने वाला, मेहरबान है।
There is not upon the weak or upon the ill or upon those who do not find anything to spend any discomfort when they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is not upon the doers of good any cause [for blame]. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Zaeefon aur beemaron per aur unn per jin kay pass kharach kerney ko kuch bhi nahi koi haraj nahi ba-shart-e-kay woh Allah aur uss kay rasool ki khair khuwaee kertay rahen aisay nek kaaron per ilzam ki koi raah nahi Allah Taalaa bari maghfirat-o-rehmat wala hai.
कोई गुनाह नहीं है कमज़ोरों पर और न बीमारों पर और न उन पर जो ख़र्च करने को कुछ नहीं पाते जबकि वे अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के साथ ख़ैर-ख़्वाही करें, नेकी करने वालों पर कोई इल्ज़ाम नहीं, और अल्लाह बख़्शने वाला, मेहरबान है।
