الفاظ ( فِيْهَا )

اور ایمان والوں اور نیک عمل کرنے والوں کو ان جنتوں کی خوشخبریاں دو جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں ۔ جب کبھی وہ پھلوں کا رزق دئیے جائیں گے اور ہم شکل لائے جائیں گے تو کہیں گے یہ وہی ہے جو ہم اس سے پہلے دئیے گئے تھے اور ان کے لئے بیویاں ہیں صاف ستھری اور وہ ان جنتوں میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں ۔

And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.

اور جب تیرے رب نے فرشتوں سے کہا کہ میں زمین میں خلیفہ بنانے والا ہوں تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ایسے شخص کو کیوں پیدا کرتا ہے جو زمین میں فساد کرے اور خون بہائے ؟ہم تیری تسبیح اور پاکیزگی بیان کرنے والے ہیں ۔ اللہ تعالٰی نے فرمایا جو میں جانتا ہوں تم نہیں جانتے ۔

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

اور جب تیرے رب نے فرشتوں سے کہا کہ میں زمین میں خلیفہ بنانے والا ہوں تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ایسے شخص کو کیوں پیدا کرتا ہے جو زمین میں فساد کرے اور خون بہائے ؟ہم تیری تسبیح اور پاکیزگی بیان کرنے والے ہیں ۔ اللہ تعالٰی نے فرمایا جو میں جانتا ہوں تم نہیں جانتے ۔

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

اور جو انکار کر کے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلائیں ، وہ جہنمی ہیں اور ہمیشہ اسی میں رہیں گے ۔

And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

آپ نے فرمایا کہ اللہ کا فرمان ہے کہ وہ گائے کام کرنے والی زمین میں ہل جوتنے والی اور کھیتوں کو پانی پلانے والی نہیں ، وہ تندرست اور بے داغ ہے ۔ انہوں نے کہا ، اب آپ نے حق واضح کر دیا گو وہ حکم برداری کے قریب نہ تھے ، لیکن اسے مانا اور وہ گائے ذبح کر دی ۔

He said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no spot upon her.' " They said, "Now you have come with the truth." So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it.

جب تم نے ایک شخص کو قتل کر ڈالا ، پھر اس میں اختلاف کرنے لگے اور تمہاری پوشیدگی کو اللہ تعالٰی ظاہر کرنے والا تھا ۔

And [recall] when you slew a man and disputed over it, but Allah was to bring out that which you were concealing.

یقیناً جس نے بھی بُرے کام کئے اور اس کی نافرمانیوں نے اسے گھیر لیا وہ ہمیشہ کے لئے جہنمی ہے ۔

Yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائیں اور نیک کام کریں وہ جنتی ہیں جو جنت میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے ۔

But they who believe and do righteous deeds - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.

اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہے جو اللہ تعالٰی کی مسجدوں میں اللہ تعالٰی کے ذکر کئے جانے کو روکے ان کی بربادی کی کوشش کرے ایسے لوگوں کو خوف کھاتے ہوئے ہی اس میں جانا چاہیے ان کے لئے دنیا میں بھی رسوائی ہے اور آخرت میں بھی بڑا عذاب ہے ۔

And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction. It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment.

جس میں یہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے ، نہ ان سے عذاب ہلکا کیا جائے گا اور نہ انہیں ڈھیل دی جائے گی ۔

Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش ، رات دن کا ہیر پھیر ، کشتیوں کا لوگوں کونفع دینے والی چیزوں کو لئے ہوئے سمندروں میں چلنا آسمان سے پانی اتار کر ، مردہ زمین کو زندہ کر دینا اس میں ہر قسم کے جانوروں کو پھیلا دینا ، ہواؤں کے رخ بدلنا ، اور بادل ، جو آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان مسخر ہیں ، ان میں عقلمندوں کے لئے قدرت الٰہی کی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.

جب وہ لوٹ کر جاتا ہے تو زمین میں فساد پھیلانے کی اور کھیتی اور نسل کی بربادی کی کوشش میں لگا رہتا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی فساد کو ناپسند کرتا ہے ۔

And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption.

لوگ آپ سے حرمت والے مہینوں میں لڑائی کی بابت سوال کرتے ہیں ، آپ کہہ دیجیئے کہ ان میں لڑائی کرنا بڑاگناہ ہے ، لیکن اللہ کی راہ سے روکنا اس کے ساتھ کفر کرنا اور مسجد حرام سے روکنا اور وہاں کے رہنے والوں کو وہاں سے نکالنا ، اللہ کے نزدیک اس سے بھی بڑا گناہ ہے یہ فتنہ قتل سے بھی بڑا گناہ ہے یہ لوگ تم سے لڑائی بھڑائی کرتے ہی رہیں گے یہاں تک کہ اگر ان سے ہو سکے تو تمہیں تمہارے دین سے مرتد کر دیں اور تم میں سے جو لوگ اپنے دین سے پلٹ جائیں اور اسی کفر کی حالت میں مریں ، ان کے اعمال دنیاوی اور اخروی سب غارت ہوجائیں گے ۔ یہ لوگ جہنمی ہوں گے اور ہمیشہ ہمیشہ جہنم میں ہی رہیں گے ۔

They ask you about the sacred month - about fighting therein. Say, "Fighting therein is great [sin], but averting [people] from the way of Allah and disbelief in Him and [preventing access to] al-Masjid al-Haram and the expulsion of its people therefrom are greater [evil] in the sight of Allah . And fitnah is greater than killing." And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able. And whoever of you reverts from his religion [to disbelief] and dies while he is a disbeliever - for those, their deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally.

ایمان لانے والوں کا کارساز اللہ تعالٰی خود ہے وہ انہیں اندھیروں سے روشنی کی طرف نکال لے جاتا ہے اور کافروں کے اولیاء شیاطین ہیں ۔ وہ انہیں روشنی سے نکال کر اندھیروں کی طرف لے جاتے ہیں ، یہ لوگ جہنّمی ہیں جو ہمیشہ اسی میں پڑے رہیں گے ۔

Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light. And those who disbelieve - their allies are Taghut. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

کیا تم میں سے کوئی بھی یہ چاہتا ہے کہ اس کا کھجوروں اور انگوروں کا باغ ہو ، جس میں نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں اور ہر قسم کے پھل موجود ہوں ، اس شخص کا بڑھاپا آگیا ہو ، اس کے ننھے ننھے سے بچّے بھی ہوں اور اچانک باغ کو بگولا لگ جائے جس میں آگ بھی ہو ، پس وہ باغ جل جائے اسی طرح اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے لئے آیتیں بیان کرتا ہے تاکہ تم غور وفکر کرو ۔

Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines underneath which rivers flow in which he has from every fruit? But he is afflicted with old age and has weak offspring, and it is hit by a whirlwind containing fire and is burned. Thus does Allah make clear to you [His] verses that you might give thought.

سود خور لوگ نہ کھڑے ہونگے مگر اسی طرح جس طرح وہ کھڑا ہوتا ہے جسے شیطان چھو کر خبطی بنا دے ، یہ اس لئے کہ یہ کہا کرتے تھے کہ تجارت بھی تو سود ہی کی طرح ہے حالانکہ اللہ تعالٰی نے تجارت کو حلال کیا اور سود کو حرام ، جو شخص اپنے پاس آئی ہوئی اللہ تعالٰی کی نصیحت سُن کر رُک گیا اس کے لئے وہ ہے جو گزرا اور اس کا معاملہ اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف ہے اور جو پھر دوبارہ ( حرام کی طرف ) لوٹا وہ جہنمی ہے ، ایسے لوگ ہمیشہ ہی اس میں رہیں گے ۔

Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah . But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

آپ کہہ دیجئے! کیا میں تمہیں اس سے بہت ہی بہتر چیز بتاؤں؟ تقویٰ والوں کے لئے ان کے رب تعالٰی کے پاس جنتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں جن میں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور پاکیزہ بیویاں اور اللہ تعالٰی کی رضامندی ہے ، سب بندے اللہ تعالٰی کی نگاہ میں ہیں ۔

Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah . And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants -

جس میں یہ ہمیشہ پڑے رہیں گے ، نہ تو ان سے عذاب ہلکا کیا جائے گا نہ انہیں مُہلت دی جائے گی ۔

Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ اے موسیٰ وہاں تو زور آور سرکش لوگ ہیں اور جب تک وہ وہاں سے نکل نہ جائیں ہم تو ہرگز وہاں نہ جائیں گے ہاں اگر وہ وہاں سے نکل جائیں پھر تو ہم ( بخوشی ) چلے جائیں گے ۔

They said, "O Moses, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter."

قوم نے جواب دیا کہ اے موسٰی! جب تک وہ وہاں ہیں تب تک ہم ہرگز وہاں نہ جائیں گے ، اس لئے تم اور تمہارا پروردگار جا کر دونوں ہی لڑبھڑ لو ، ہم یہیں بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں

They said, "O Moses, indeed we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are within it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here."

۔ ( تعجب کی بات ہے کہ ) وہ کیسے اپنے پاس تورات ہوتے ہوئے جس میں احکام الٰہی ہیں تم کو منصف بناتے ہیں پھر اس کے بعد بھی پھر جاتے ہیں ، دراصل یہ ایمان و یقین والے ہیں ہی نہیں ۔

But how is it that they come to you for judgement while they have the Torah, in which is the judgement of Allah ? Then they turn away, [even] after that; but those are not [in fact] believers.

ہم نے تورات نازل فرمائی ہے جس میں ہدایت و نور ہے یہودیوں میں اسی تورات کے ساتھ اللہ تعالٰی کے ماننے والے ( انبیاء علیم السلام ) اور اہل اللہ اور علماء فیصلے کرتے تھے کیونکہ انہیں اللہ کی اس کتاب کی حفاظت کا حکم دیا گیا تھا اور وہ اس پر اقراری گواہ تھے اب تمہیں چاہیے کہ لوگوں سے نہ ڈرو اور صرف میرا ڈر رکھو ، میری آیتوں کو تھوڑے تھوڑے مول پر نہ بیچو اور جو لوگ اللہ کی اتاری ہوئی وحی کے ساتھ فیصلے نہ کریں وہ ( پورے اور پختہ ) کافر ہیں ۔

Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light. The prophets who submitted [to Allah ] judged by it for the Jews, as did the rabbis and scholars by that with which they were entrusted of the Scripture of Allah , and they were witnesses thereto. So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.

اس لئے ان کو اللہ تعالٰی ان کے اس قول کی وجہ سے ایسے باغ دے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی یہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور نیک لوگوں کا یہی بدلہ ہے ۔

So Allah rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of doers of good.

جب کہ اللہ تعالٰی ارشاد فرمائے گا کہ اے عیسیٰ بن مریم! میرا انعام یاد کرو جو تم پر اور تمہاری والدہ پر ہوا ہے جب میں نے تم کو روح القدس سے تائید دی ۔ تم لوگوں سے کلام کرتے تھے گود میں بھی اور بڑی عمر میں بھی جب کہ میں نے تم کو کتاب اور حکمت کی باتیں اور تورات اور انجیل کی تعلیم دی اور جب کہ تم میرے حکم سے گارے سے ایک شکل بناتے تھے جیسے پرندے کی شکل ہوتی ہے پھر تم اس کے اندر پھونک مار دیتے تھے جس سے وہ پرندہ بن جاتا تھا میرے حکم سے اور تم اچھا کر دیتے تھے مادر زاد اندھے کو اور کوڑھی کو میرے حکم سے اور جب کہ تم مردوں کو نکال کر کھڑا کر لیتے تھے میرے حکم سے اور جب کہ میں نے بنی اسرائیل کو تم سے باز رکھا جب تم ان کے پاس دلیلیں لے کر آئے تھے پھر ان میں جو کافر تھے انہوں نے کہا کہ بجز کھلے جادو کے یہ اور کچھ بھی نہیں ۔

[The Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic."

بے شک خسارے میں پڑے وہ لوگ جنہوں نے اللہ سے ملنے کی تکذیب کی یہاں تک کہ جب وہ معین وقت ان پر دفعتًا آپہنچے گا ، کہیں گے کہ ہائے افسوس ہماری کوتاہی پر جو اس کے بارے میں ہوئی ، اور حالت ان کی یہ ہوگی کہ وہ اپنے بار اپنی پیٹھوں پر لادے ہونگے ، خوب سن لو کہ بری ہوگی وہ چیز جس کو وہ لادیں گے ۔

Those will have lost who deny the meeting with Allah , until when the Hour [of resurrection] comes upon them unexpectedly, they will say, "Oh, [how great is] our regret over what we neglected concerning it," while they bear their burdens on their backs. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.

اور اسی طرح ہم نے ہر بستی میں وہاں کے رئیسوں ہی کو جرائم کا مرتکب بنایا تاکہ وہ لوگ وہاں فریب کریں اور وہ لوگ اپنے ہی ساتھ فریب کر رہے ہیں اور ان کو ذرا خبر نہیں ۔

And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein. But they conspire not except against themselves, and they perceive [it] not.

اور بیشک ہم نے تم کو زمین پر رہنے کی جگہ دی اور ہم نے تمہارے لئے اس میں سامان رزق پیدا کیا تم لوگ بہت ہی کم شکر کرتے ہو ۔

And We have certainly established you upon the earth and made for you therein ways of livelihood. Little are you grateful.

حق تعالٰی نے فرمایا تو آسمان سے اتر تجھ کو کوئی حق حاصل نہیں کہ تو آسمان میں رہ کر تکبر کرے سو نکل بیشک تو ذلیلوں میں سے ہے ۔

[ Allah ] said, "Descend from Paradise, for it is not for you to be arrogant therein. So get out; indeed, you are of the debased.

فرمایا تم کو وہاں ہی زندگی بسر کرنا ہے اور وہاں ہی مرنا ہے اور اسی میں سے پھر نکالے جاؤ گے

He said, "Therein you will live, and therein you will die, and from it you will be brought forth."

اور جو لوگ ہمارے ان احکام کو جھٹلائیں اور ان سے تکبر کریں وہ لوگ دوزخ والے ہونگے اور وہ اس میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے

But the ones who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

اللہ تعالٰی فرمائے گا کہ جو فرقے تم سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں جنات میں سے بھی اور آدمیوں میں سے بھی ان کے ساتھ تم بھی دوزخ میں جاؤ ۔ جس وقت بھی کوئی جماعت داخل ہوگی اپنی دوسری جماعت کو لعنت کرے گی یہاں تک کہ جب اس میں سب جمع ہوجائیں گے تو پچھلے لوگ پہلے لوگوں کی نسبت کہیں گے کہ ہمارے پروردگار ہم کو ان لوگوں نے گمراہ کیا تھا سو ان کو دوزخ کا عذاب دوگنا دے ۔ اللہ تعالٰی فرمائے گا کہ سب ہی کا دوگنا ہے لیکن تم کو خبر نہیں ۔

[ Allah ] will say, "Enter among nations which had passed on before you of jinn and mankind into the Fire." Every time a nation enters, it will curse its sister until, when they have all overtaken one another therein, the last of them will say about the first of them "Our Lord, these had misled us, so give them a double punishment of the Fire. He will say, "For each is double, but you do not know."

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک کام کئے ہم کسی شخص کو اس کی قدرت سے زیادہ کسی کا مکلف نہیں بناتے وہی لوگ جنت والے ہیں اور وہ اس میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے ۔

But those who believed and did righteous deeds - We charge no soul except [within] its capacity. Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.

جنہوں نے شعیب ( علیہ السلام ) کی تکذ یب کی تھی ان کی یہ حالت ہوگئی جیسے ان گھروں میں کبھی بسے ہی نہ تھے جنہوں نے شعیب ( علیہ السلام ) کی تکذیب کی تھی و ہی خسارے میں پڑ گئے ۔

Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was as though they had never resided there. Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was they who were the losers.

اور ہم نے ان لوگوں کو جو بالکل کمزور شمار کئے جاتے تھے اس سرزمین کے پورب پچھم کا مالک بنادیا جس میں ہم نے برکت رکھی ہے اور آپ کے رب کا نیک وعدہ بنی اسرائیل کے حق میں ان کے صبر کی وجہ سے پورا ہوگیا اور ہم نے فرعون کے اور اس کی قوم کے ساختہ پرداختہ کارخانوں کو اور جو کچھ وہ اونچی اونچی عمارتیں بنواتے تھے سب کو درہم برہم کر دیا ۔

And We caused the people who had been oppressed to inherit the eastern regions of the land and the western ones, which We had blessed. And the good word of your Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel because of what they had patiently endured. And We destroyed [all] that Pharaoh and his people were producing and what they had been building.

انہیں ان کا رب خوشخبری دیتا ہے اپنی رحمت کی اور رضامندی کی اور جنتوں کی ان کے لئے وہاں دوامی نعمت ہے ۔

Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure.

کیا یہ نہیں جانتے کہ جو بھی اللہ کی اور اس کے رسول کی مخالفت کرے گا اس کے لئے یقیناً دوزخ کی آگ ہے جس میں وہ ہمیشہ رہنے والا ہے یہ زبردست رسوائی ہے ۔

Do they not know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger - that for him is the fire of Hell, wherein he will abide eternally? That is the great disgrace.

اللہ تعالٰی ان منافق مردوں عورتوں اور کافروں سے جہنم کی آگ کا وعدہ کر چکا ہے جہاں یہ ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں ، وہی انہیں کافی ہے ان پر اللہ کی پھٹکار ہے ، اور ان ہی کے لئے دائمی عذاب ہے ۔

Allah has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the disbelievers the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide eternally. It is sufficient for them. And Allah has cursed them, and for them is an enduring punishment.

ان ایماندار مردوں اور عورتوں سے اللہ نے ان جنتوں کا وعدہ فرمایا ہے جن کے نیچے نہریں لہریں لے رہی ہیں جہاں وہ ہمیشہ ہمیش رہنے والے ہیں اور ان صاف ستھرے پاکیزہ محلات کا جو ان ہمیشگی والی جنتوں میں ہیں ، اور اللہ کی رضامندی سب سے بڑی چیز ہے یہی زبردست کامیابی ہے ۔

Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allah is greater. It is that which is the great attainment.

انہی کے لئے اللہ نے وہ جنتیں تیار کی ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں جن میں یہ ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں ۔ یہی بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔

Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally. That is the great attainment.

ان کے منہ سے یہ بات نکلے گی ’’سبحان اللہ ‘‘ اور ان کا باہمی سلام یہ ہوگا ’’السلام علیکم‘‘اور ان کی اخیر بات یہ ہوگی تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لئے ہیں جو سارے جہان کا رب ہے ۔

Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah ," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah , Lord of the worlds!"

ان کے منہ سے یہ بات نکلے گی ’’سبحان اللہ ‘‘ اور ان کا باہمی سلام یہ ہوگا ’’السلام علیکم‘‘اور ان کی اخیر بات یہ ہوگی تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لئے ہیں جو سارے جہان کا رب ہے ۔

Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah ," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah , Lord of the worlds!"

جن لوگوں نے نیکی کی ہے ان کے واسطے خوبی ہے اور مزید برآں بھی اور ان کے چہروں پر نہ سیاہی چھائے گی اور نہ ذلت ، یہ لوگ جنت میں رہنے والے ہیں وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے ۔

For them who have done good is the best [reward] and extra. No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally

اور جن لوگوں نے بد کام کئے ان کی بدی کی سزا اس کے برابر ملے گی اور ان کو ذلت چھائے گی ان کو اللہ تعالٰی سے کوئی نہ بچا سکے گا گویا ان کے چہروں پر اندھیری رات کے پرت کے پرت لپیٹ دیئے گئے ۔ ہیں یہ لوگ دوزخ میں رہنے والے ہیں ، اور وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے ۔

But they who have earned [blame for] evil doings - the recompense of an evil deed is its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them. They will have from Allah no protector. It will be as if their faces are covered with pieces of the night - so dark [are they]. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

جو شخص دنیا کی زندگی اور اس کی زینت پر فریفتہ ہوا چاہتا ہو ہم ایسوں کو ان کے کل اعمال ( کا بدلہ ) یہیں بھرپور پہنچا دیتے ہیں اور یہاں انہیں کوئی کمی نہیں کی جاتی ۔

Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived.

جو شخص دنیا کی زندگی اور اس کی زینت پر فریفتہ ہوا چاہتا ہو ہم ایسوں کو ان کے کل اعمال ( کا بدلہ ) یہیں بھرپور پہنچا دیتے ہیں اور یہاں انہیں کوئی کمی نہیں کی جاتی ۔

Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived.

ہاں یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے آخرت میں سوائے آگ کے اور کچھ نہیں اور جو کچھ انہوں نے یہاں کیا ہوگا وہاں سب اکارت ہے اور جو کچھ ان کے اعمال تھے سب برباد ہونے والے ہیں ۔

Those are the ones for whom there is not in the Hereafter but the Fire. And lost is what they did therein, and worthless is what they used to do.

یقیناً جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے کام بھی نیک کئے اور اپنے پالنے والے کی طرف جھکتے رہے ، وہی جنت میں جانے والے ہیں ، جہاں وہ ہمیشہ ہی رہنے والے ہیں ۔

Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds and humbled themselves to their Lord - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide eternally therein.

یہاں تک کہ جب ہمارا حکم آپہنچا اور تنور ابلنے لگا ہم نے کہا کہ اس کشتی میں ہر قسم کے ( جانداروں میں سے ) جوڑے ( یعنی ) دو ( جانور ، ایک نر اور ایک مادہ ) سوار کرا لے اور اپنے گھر کے لوگوں کو بھی سوائے ان کے جن پر پہلے سے بات پڑ چکی ہے اور سب ایمان والوں کو بھی اس کے ساتھ ایمان لانے والے بہت ہی کم تھے ۔

[So it was], until when Our command came and the oven overflowed, We said, "Load upon the ship of each [creature] two mates and your family, except those about whom the word has preceded, and [include] whoever has believed." But none had believed with him, except a few.

نوح ( علیہ السلام ) نے کہا اس کشتی میں بیٹھ جاؤ اللہ ہی کے نام سے اس کا چلنا اور ٹھہرنا ہے ، یقیناً میرا رب بڑی بخشش اور بڑے رحم والا ہے ۔

And [Noah] said, "Embark therein; in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

اور قوم ثمود کی طرف ان کے بھائی صالح کو بھیجا ، اس نے کہا کہ اے میری قوم تم اللہ کی عبادت کرو اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی معبود نہیں اسی نے تمہیں زمین سے پیدا کیا ہے اور اسی نے اس زمین میں تمہیں بسایا ہے پس تم اس سے معافی طلب کرو اور اس کی طرف رجوع کرو ۔ بیشک میرا رب قریب اور دعاؤں کا قبول کرنے والا ہے ۔

And to Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive."
