And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path
Aur Allah Taalaa salamti kay ghar ki taraf tum ko bulata hai aur jiss ko chahata hai raah-e-raast per chalney ki tofiq deta hai.
और अल्लाह सलामती के घर की तरफ़ बुलाता है और वह जिसको चाहता है सीधा रास्ता दिखा देता है।
Then We sent after him messengers to their peoples, and they came to them with clear proofs. But they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus We seal over the hearts of the transgressors
Phir nooh ( alh-e-salam ) kay baad hum ney aur rasoolon ko unn ki qom ki taraf bheja so woh unn kay pass roshan daleelen ley ker aaye pus jiss cheez ko unhon ney awwal mein jhoota keh diya yeh na hua ka phir uss ko maan letay. Allah Taalaa issi tarah hadd say barhney walon kay dilon per band laga deta hai.
उसके बाद हमने मुख़्तलिफ़ पैग़म्बर उनकी अपनी-अपनी क़ौमों के पास भेजे जो उनके पास खुले-खुले दलाइल लेकर आए लेकिन उन लोगों ने जिस बात को पहले झुठला दिया था उसे बिल्कुल न माना, जो लोग हद से गुज़र जाते हैं उनके दिलों पर हम इसी तरह मुहर लगा देते हैं।
Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his establishment with Our signs, but they behaved arrogantly and were a criminal people
Phir inn payghumbaron kay baad hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) aur haroon ( alh-e-salam ) ko firaon aur uss kay sardaron kay pass apni nishaniyan dey ker bheja. So unhon ney takabbur kiya aur woh log mujrim qom thay.
फिर हमने उनके बाद मूसा और हारून (अलैहिमस्सलाम) को फ़िरऔन और उसके सरदारों के पास अपनी निशानियाँ देकर भेजा मगर उन्होंने घमंड किया और वे मुजरिम लोग थे।
And We inspired to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses [facing the] qiblah and establish prayer and give good tidings to the believers."
Aur hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) aur unn kay bhai kay pass wahee bheji kay tum dono apney unn logon kay liye misir mein ghar bar-qarar rakho aur tum sab apney enhi gharon ko namaz parhney ki jagah qarar dey lo aur namaz kay paband raho aur aap musalmanon ko bisharat dey den.
और हमने मूसा (अलै॰) और उसके भाई की तरफ़ वह्य की कि अपनी क़ौम के लिए मिस्र में कुछ घर मुक़रर्र कर लो और अपने उन घरों को क़िब्ला बनाओ और नमाज़ क़ायम करो, और अहले-ईमान को ख़ुश-ख़बरी दे दो।
Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time.
Chunacha koi basti eman na laee kay eman lana uss ko nafey hota siwaye younus ( alh-e-salam ) ki qom kay. Jab woh eman ley aaye to hum ney ruswaee kay azab ko dunyawi zindagi mein unn per say taal diya aur unn ko aik waqt ( khas ) tak kay liye zindagi say faeeda uthaney ( ka moqa ) diya.
पस क्यों न हुआ कि कोई बस्ती ईमान लाती कि उसका ईमान लाना उसको नफ़ा देता यूनुस (अलै॰) की क़ौम के सिवा, जब वे ईमान लाए तो हमने उनसे दुनिया की ज़िंदगी में रुसवाई का अज़ाब टाल दिया और उनको एक मुद्दत तक ज़िंदगी का लुत्फ़ उठाने दिया।
And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."
Aur tujh per meri phitkaar hai qayamat kay din tak.
और तुझ पर मेरी फटकार है क़यामत के दिन तक।
He said,"My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
Kehney laga aey meray rab! Mujhay uss din tak dheel dey kay log doobara utha kharay kiye jayen.
इबलीस ने कहाः ऐ मेरे रब! तू मुझे उस दिन तक के लिए मोहलत दे जिस दिन लोग उठाए जाएंगे।
Until the Day of the time well-known."
Roz-e-muqarrara kay waqt tak ki.
उस मुक़र्रर वक़्त के दिन तक।
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,
Unhon ney jawab diya kay hum mujrim qom ki taraf bhejay gaye hain.
उन्होंने कहा कि हम एक मुजरिम क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजे गए हैं।
Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers
Aap hergiz apni nazren uss cheez ki taraf na dorayen jiss say hum ney inn mein say kaee qisam kay logon ko behra mand ker rakha hai na inn per aap afsos keren aur momino kay liye apney bazoo jhukaye rahen.
उस दुनियावी सामान की तरफ़ आँख उठाकर न देखें जो हमने उनमें से मुख़्तलिफ़ लोगों को दिया है और उन पर ग़म न करें, और ईमान वालों पर अपनी शफ़क़त के बाज़ू झुका दीजिए।
And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.
Aur woh tumharay bojh unn shehron tak utha ley jatay hain jahan tum baghair aadhi jaan kiye phonch hi nahi saktay thay. Yaqeenan tumhara rab bara hi shafiq aur nihayat meharbaan hai.
और वे तुम्हारे बोझ ऐसे मक़ामात तक पहुँचाते हैं जहाँ तुम सख़्त मेहनत के बग़ैर नहीं पहुँच सकते थे, बेशक तुम्हारा रब बड़ा मेहरबान, रहम करने वाला है।
Have they not considered what things Allah has created? Their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah , while they are humble.
Kiya enhon ney Allah ki makhlooq mein kissi ko bhi nahi dekha? Kay uss kay saye dayen bayen jhuk jhuk ker Allah Taalaa kay samney sir ba sujood hotay aur aajzi ka izhar kertay hain.
क्या वे नहीं देखते कि अल्लाह ने जो चीज़ भी पैदा की है उसके साये दाएं तरफ़ और बाएं तरफ़ झुक जाते हैं अल्लाह को सज्दा करते हुए और वे सब आजिज़ हैं।
And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest and made for you from the hides of the animals tents which you find light on your day of travel and your day of encampment; and from their wool, fur and hair is furnishing and enjoyment for a time.
Aur Allah Taalaa ney tumharay liye tumharay gharon mein sakoonat ki jagah bana di hai aur ussi ney tumharay liye chopayon ki khalon kay ghar bana diye hain jinhen tum halka phulka patay ho apney kooch kay din aur apney theharney kay din bhi aur unn ki oon aur roo’on aur baalon say bhi uss ney boht say saman aur aik waqt muqarrara tak kay liye faeeday ki cheezen banaeen.
और अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारे घरों को सुकून की जगह बनाया और तुम्हारे लिए जानवरों की खाल के घर बनाए जिनको तुम अपने सफ़र के दिन और क़याम के दिन हल्का पाते हो, और उनकी ऊन और उनकी रुएं और उनके बालों से घर का सामान और फ़ायदे की चीज़ें एक मुद्दत तक के लिए बनाएं।
[He was] grateful for His favors. Allah chose him and guided him to a straight path.
Allah Taalaa ki nematon kay shukar guzaar thay Allah ney unhen apna bar gazeedah ker liya tha aur uhen raah-e-raast sujha di thi.
वह उसकी नेमतों का शुक्र करने वाले थे, अल्लाह ने उसको चुन लिया और सीधे रास्ते की तरफ़ उसकी रहनुमाई की।
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.
Apney rab ki raah ki taraf logon ko hikmat aur behtareen naseehat kay sath bulaiye aur unn say behtareen teriqay say guftugoo kijiye yaqeenan aap ka rab apni raah say behakney walon ko bhi bakhoobi janta hai aur woh raah yafta logon say bhi poora waqif hai.
अपने रब के रास्ते की तरफ़ हिकमत और अच्छी नसीहत के साथ बुलाइए और उनसे अच्छे तरीक़े से बहस कीजिए, बेशक आपका रब ख़ूब जानता है कि कौन उसकी राह से भटका हुआ है और वह उनको भी ख़ूब जानता है जो राह पर चलने वाले हैं।
And We conveyed to the Children of Israel in the Scripture that, "You will surely cause corruption on the earth twice, and you will surely reach [a degree of] great haughtiness.
Hum ney bano islraeel kay liye unn ki kitab mein saaf faisla ker diya tha kay tum zamin mein doobara fasad barpa kero gay aur tum bari zabardast ziyadtiyan kero gay.
और हमने बनी-इस्राईल को किताब में बता दिया था कि तुम दो मर्तबा ज़मीन (मुल्क-ए-शाम) में ख़राबी करोगे और बड़ी सरकशी करोगे।
And do not make your hand [as] chained to your neck or extend it completely and [thereby] become blamed and insolvent.
Apna hath apni gardan say bandha hua na rakh aur na ussay bilkul hi khol dey kay phir malamat kiya hua dar manda beth jaye.
और न तो अपना हाथ गर्दन से बाँध लें और न खुला छोड़ दें कि आप बदहाल और आजिज़ बनकर रह जाएं।
Say, [O Muhammad], "If there had been with Him [other] gods, as they say, then they [each] would have sought to the Owner of the Throne a way."
Keh dijiye! Kay Allah kay siwa aur mabood bhi hotay jaisay kay yeh log kehtay hain to zaroor woh abb tak malik-e-arsh ki janib raah dhoond nikaltay.
कह दीजिए कि अगर अल्लाह के साथ और भी माबूद होते जैसा कि यह लोग कहते हैं तो वे अर्श वाले की तरफ़ ज़रूर रास्ता निकालते।
Those whom they invoke seek means of access to their Lord, [striving as to] which of them would be nearest, and they hope for His mercy and fear His punishment. Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is ever feared.
Jinhen yeh log pukartay hain khud woh apney rab kay taqarrub ki justujoo mein rehtay hain kay inn mein say kaun ziyada nazdeek hojaye woh khud uss ki rehmat ki umeed rakhtay aur uss kay azab say khifzada rehtay hain ( baat bhi yehi hai ) kay teray rab ka azab darney ki cheez hi hai.
जिनको ये लोग पुकारते हैं वे ख़ुद अपने रब का क़ुर्ब ढूंढते हैं कि उनमें से कौन सबसे ज़्यादा क़रीब हो जाए और वे अपने रब की रहमत के उम्मीदवार हैं और वे उसके अज़ाब से डरते हैं, वाक़ई आपके रब का अज़ाब डरने ही की चीज़ है।
[Iblees] said, "Do You see this one whom You have honored above me? If You delay me until the Day of Resurrection, I will surely destroy his descendants, except for a few."
Acha dekh ley issay tu ney mujh per buzrugi to di hai lekin agar mujhay bhi qayamat tak tu ney dheel di to mein iss ki aulad ko ba-juz boht thoray logon kay apney bus mein kerloon ga.
उसने कहाः ज़रा देख! यह शख़्स जिसको तूने मुझ पर इज़्ज़त दी है, अगर तू मुझको क़यामत के दिन तक मोहलत दे तो मैं थोड़े लोगों के सिवा उसकी तमाम औलाद को खा जाऊँगा।
Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed.
Namaz ko qaeem keren aftab kay dhalney say ley ker raat ki tareeki tak aur fajar ka quran parhna bhi yaqeenan fajar kay waqt ka quran parhna hazir kiya gaya hai.
नमाज़ क़ायम करो सूर्य के ढलने से लेकर रात के छा जाने तक और फ़ज्र (प्रभात) के क़ुरआन (अर्थात फ़ज्र की नमाज़ः के पाबन्द रहो। निश्चय ही फ़ज्र का क़ुरआन पढ़ना हुज़ूरी की चीज़ है
And I do not think the Hour will occur. And even if I should be brought back to my Lord, I will surely find better than this as a return."
Aur na mein qayamat ko qaeem honey wali khayal kerta hun aur agar ( bil farz ) mein apney rab ki taraf lotaya bhi gaya to yaqeenan mein ( uss lotney ki jagah ) iss say bhi ziyada behtar paon ga.
और मैं नहीं समझता कि वह (क़ियामत की) घड़ी कभी आएगी। और यदि मैं वास्तव में अपने रब के पास पलटा भी तो निश्चय ही पलटने की जगह इस से भी उत्तम पाऊँगा।"
He said, "As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment.
Uss ney kaha jo zulm keray ga ussay to hum bhi abb saza den gay phir woh apney perwerdigar ki taraf lotaya jayega aur woh ussay sakht tar azab dey ga.
उस ने कहा, "जो कोई ज़ुल्म करेगा उसे तो हम दंड देंगे। फिर वह अपने रब की ओर पलटेगा और वह उसे कठोर यातना देगा
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten."
Phir dard-e-zeh ussay aik khajoor kay tanay kay neechay ley aaya boli kaash! Mein iss say pehlay hi marr gaee hoti aur logon ki yaad say bhi bhooli bisri hojati.
अन्ततः प्रसव पीड़ा उसे एक खजूर के तने के पास ले आई। वह कहने लगी, "क्या ही अच्छा होता कि मैं इस से पहले ही मर जाती और भूली-बिसरी हो गई होती!"
And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst
Aur gunehgaron ko sakht piyas ki halat mein jahannum ki taraf haank ley jayen gay.
और अपराधियों को जहन्नम के घाट की ओर प्यासा हाँक ले जाएँगे।
And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign,
Aur apna hath apni baghal mein daal ley to woh safaid chamakta hua ho ker niklay ga lekin baghair kisi aib ( aur rog ) kay yeh doosra moajzza hai.
और अपने हाथ अपने बाज़ू की ओर समेट ले। वह बिना किसी ऐब के रौशन दूसरी निशानी के रूप में निकलेगा
Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed."
Abb tu firaon ki taraf jaa uss ney barri sirkashi macha rakhi hai.
तू फ़िरऔन के पास जा। वह बहुत सरकश हो गया है।"
Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.
Tum dono firaon kay pass jao uss ney bari sirkashi ki hai.
जाओ दोनों, फ़िरऔन के पास, वह सरकश हो गया है
And We had inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]."
Hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ki taraf wahee nazil faramee kay tu raton raat meray bandon ko ley chal aur inn kay liye darya mein khushk raasta bana ley phir na tujhay kissi kay aa pakarney ka khatra hoga na darr.
और हम ने मूसा की ओर प्रकाशना की, "रातों रात मेरे बन्दों को लेकर निकल पड़, और उन के लिए दरिया में सूखा मार्ग निकाल ले। न तो तुझे पीछा किए जाने और न पकड़े जाने का भय हो और न किसी अन्य चीज़ से तुझे डर लगे।"
So Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved. He said, "O my people, did your Lord not make you a good promise? Then, was the time [of its fulfillment] too long for you, or did you wish that wrath from your Lord descend upon you, so you broke your promise [of obedience] to me?"
Pus musa ( alh-e-salam ) sakht ghazab naak hoker ranj kay sath wapis lotay aur kehnay lagay kay aey meri qom walo! Kiya tum say tumharay perwerdigar ney nek wada nahi kiya tha? Kiya iss ki muddat tumhen lambi maloom hui? Bulkay tumhara irada hi yeh hai kay tum per tumharay perwerdigar ka ghazab nazil ho? Kay tum ney meray waday ka khilaf kiya.
तब मूसा अत्यन्त क्रोध और खेद में डूबा हुआ अपनी क़ौम के लोगों की ओर पलटा। कहा, "ऐ मेरी क़ौम के लोगों! क्या तुम से तुम्हारे रब ने अच्छा वादा नहीं किया था? क्या तुम पर लम्बी मुद्दत गुज़र गई या तुम ने यही चाहा कि तुम पर तुम्हारे रब का प्रकोप ही टूटे कि तुम ने मेरे वादे के विरुद्ध आचरण किया?"
And do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring.
Aur apni nighayen hergiz unn cheezon ki taraf na dorana jo hum ney inn mein say mukhtalif logon ko aaraeesh-e-duniya ki dey rakhi hain takay unhen iss mein aazma ley teray rab ka diya hua hi ( boht ) behtar aur boht baqi rehney wala hai.
और उस की ओर आँख उठाकर न देखो, जो कुछ हम ने उन में से विभिन्न लोगों को उपभोग के लिए दे रखा है, ताकि हम उस के द्वारा उन्हें आज़माएँ। वह तो बस सांसारिक जीवन की शोभा है। तुम्हारे रब की रोज़ी उत्तम भी है और स्थायी भी
[Some angels said], "Do not flee but return to where you were given luxury and to your homes - perhaps you will be questioned."
Bhag dor na kero aur jahan tumhen aasoodgi di gaee thi wahin wapis loto aur apney makanaat ki taraf jao takay tum say sawal to ker liya jaye.
कहा गया, "भागो नहीं! लौट चलो, उसी भोग-विलास की ओर जो तुम्हें प्राप्त था और अपने घरों की ओर ताकि तुम से पूछा जाए।"
And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time."
Mujhay iss ka bhi ilm nahi mumkin hai yeh tumhari aazmaeesh ho aur aik muqarrara waqt tak ka faeeda ( phonchana ) hai.
मुझे नहीं मालूम कि कदाचित यह तुम्हारे लिए एक परीक्षा हो और एक नियत समय तक के लिए जीवन-सुख
It has been decreed for every devil that whoever turns to him - he will misguide him and will lead him to the punishment of the Blaze.
Jiss per ( qazay-e-elahee ) likh di gaee hai kay jo koi uss ki rafaqat keray ga woh ussay gumrah ker dey ga aur ussay aag kay azab ki taraf ley jayeg.
जबकि उस के लिए लिख दिया गया है कि जो उस से मित्रता का सम्बन्ध रखेगा उसे वह पथभ्रष्ट करके रहेगा और उसे दहकती अग्नि की यातना की ओर ले जाएगा
And they had been guided [in worldly life] to good speech, and they were guided to the path of the Praiseworthy.
Unn ko pakeeza baat ki rehnumaee kerdi gaee aur qabil-e-sadd tareef raah ki rehnumee kerdi gaee.
निर्देशित किया गया उन्हें अच्छे पाक बोल की ओर और उन को प्रशंसित अल्लाह का मार्ग दिखाया गया
And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it. And indeed is Allah the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path.
Aur iss liye bhi kay jinhen ilm ata farmaya gaya hai woh yaqeen kerlen kay yeh aap kay rab hi ki taraf say sirasir haq hi hai phir woh iss per eman layen aur unn kay dil uss ki taraf jhuk jayen. Yaqeenan Allah Taalaa eman daron ko raah-e-raast ki taraf rehbari kerney wala hi hai.
और ताकि वे लोग जिन्हें ज्ञान मिला है, जान लें कि यह तुम्हारे रब की ओर से सत्य है। अतः वे इस पर ईमान लाएँ और उस के सामने उन के दिल झुक जाएँ और निश्चय ही अल्लाह ईमान लाने वालों को अवश्य सीधा मार्ग दिखाता है
For every religion We have appointed rites which they perform. So, [O Muhammad], let the disbelievers not contend with you over the matter but invite them to your Lord. Indeed, you are upon straight guidance.
Her ummat kay liye hum ney ibadat ka aik tareeqa muqarrar ker diya hai jissay woh baja laney walay hain pus enhen iss amar mein aap say jhagra na kerna chahiye aap apnay perwerdigar ki taraf logon ko buliye. Yaqeenan aap theek hidayat per hi hain.
प्रत्येक समुदाय के लिए हम ने बन्दगी की एक रीति निर्धारित कर दी है, जिस का पालन उस के लोग करते हैं। अतः इस मामले में वे तुम से झगड़ने की राह न पाएँ। तुम तो अपने रब की ओर बुलाए जाओ। निस्संदेह तुम सीधे मार्ग पर हो
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
Yaqeenan hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko uss ki qom ki taraf rasool bana ker bheja uss ney kaha aey meri qom kay logo! Allah ki ibadat kero aur uss kay siwa tumhara koi mabood nahi kiya tum ( uss say ) nahi dartay.
हम ने नूह को उस की क़ौम की ओर भेजा तो उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरी क़ौम के लोगो! अल्लाह की बन्दगी करो। उस के सिवा तुम्हारा और कोई इष्ट-पूज्य नहीं है तो क्या तुम डर नहीं रखते?"
To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people.
Firaon aur uss kay lashkaron ki taraf pus unhon ney takabbur kiya aur thay hi woh sirkash log.
किन्तु उन्होंने अहंकार किया। वे थे ही सरकश लोग
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water.
Hum ney ibn-e-marium aur uss ki walida ko aik nishani banaya aur unn dono ko buland saaf qarar wali aur jari pani wali jagah mein panah di.
और मरयम के बेटे और उस की माँ को हम ने एक निशानी बनाया। और हम ने उन्हें रहने योग्य स्रोतबाली ऊँची जगह शरण दी,
And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord -
Aur jo log detay hain jo kuch detay hain aur unn kay dil kapkapatay hain kay woh apnay rab ki taraf lotney walay hain.
और जो लोग देते हैं, जो कुछ देते हैं और हाल यह होता है कि दिल उन के काँप रहे होते हैं, इसलिए कि उन्हें अपने रब की ओर पलटना है;
And indeed, you invite them to a straight path.
Yaqeenan aap to enhen raah-e-raast ki taraf bula rahey hain.
और वास्तव में तुम उन्हें सीधे मार्ग की ओर बुला रहे हो
That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
Kay apni chori hui duniya mein jaa ker nek aemaal ker loon hergiz aisa nahi hoga yeh to sirf aik qol hai jiss ka yeh qaeel hai inn kay pas-e-pusht to aik hijab hai inn kay doobara ji uthney kay din tak.
उस में अच्छा कर्म करूँ।" कुछ नहीं, यह तो बस एक (व्यर्थ) बात है जो वह कहेगा और उन के पीछे से लेकर उस दिन तक एक रोक लगी हुई है, जब वे दोबारा उठाए जाएँगे
We have certainly sent down distinct verses. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.
Bila shak-o-shuba hum ney roshan aur wazeh aayaten utar di hain Allah Taalaa jissay chahaye seedhi raah dikha deta hai.
हम ने सत्य को प्रकट कर देने वाली आयतें उतार दी हैं। आगे अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है सीधे मार्ग की ओर लगा देता है
And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
Aur enhon ney jo amal kiye thay hum ney unn ki taraf barh ker enhen paraganda zarron ki tarah ker diya.
