الفاظ ( لَهُمْ )

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے ان کے اعمال کا حصہ ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی جلد حساب لینے والا ہے ۔

Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account.

اور انہیں ان کے نبی نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالٰی نے طالوت کو تمہارا بادشاہ بنا دیا ہے تو کہنے لگے بھلا اس کی ہم پر حکومت کیسے ہوسکتی ہے؟ اس سے تو بہت زیادہ حقدار بادشاہت کے ہم ہیں ، اس کو تو مالی کشادگی بھی نہیں دی گئی ۔ نبی نے فرمایا سنو ، اللہ تعالٰی نے اسی کو تم پر برگزیدہ کیا ہے اور اسے علمی اور جسمانی برتری بھی عطا فرمائی ہے بات یہ ہے اللہ جسے چاہے اپنا ملک دے ، اللہ تعالٰی کشادگی والا اور علم والا ہے ۔

And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, Allah has sent to you Saul as a king." They said, "How can he have kingship over us while we are more worthy of kingship than him and he has not been given any measure of wealth?" He said, "Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing [in favor] and Knowing."

ان کے نبی نے انہیں پھر کہا کہ اس کی بادشاہت کی ظاہری نشانی یہ ہے کہ تمہارے پاس وہ صندوق آجائے گا جس میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے دلجمعی ہے اور آل موسیٰ اور آل ہارون کا بقیہ ترکہ ہے ۔ فرشتے اسے اُٹھا کر لائیں گے ۔ یقیناً یہ تو تمہارے لئے کھلی دلیل ہے اگر تم ایمان والے ہو ۔

And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, a sign of his kingship is that the chest will come to you in which is assurance from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron had left, carried by the angels. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers."

اور ان کا قول لینے کے لئے ہم نے ان کے سروں پر طور پہاڑ لا کھڑا کر دیا اور انہیں حکم دیا کہ سجدہ کرتے ہوئے دروازے میں جاؤ اور یہ بھی فرمایا کہ ہفتہ کے دن میں تجاوز نہ کرنا اور ہم نے ان سے سخت سے سخت قول و قرار لئے ۔

And We raised over them the mount for [refusal of] their covenant; and We said to them, "Enter the gate bowing humbly", and We said to them, "Do not transgress on the sabbath", and We took from them a solemn covenant.

اور یوں کہنے کے باعث کہ ہم نے اللہ کے رسول مسیح عیسیٰ بن مریم کو قتل کر دیا حالانکہ نہ تو انہوں نے اسے قتل کیا نہ سولی پر چڑھایا بلکہ ان کے لئے ( عیسیٰ ) کا شبیہ بنا دیا گیا تھا یقین جانو کہ حضرت عیسیٰ ( علیہ السلام ) کے بارے میں اختلاف کرنے والے ان کے بارے میں شک میں ہیں انہیں اس کا کوئی یقین نہیں بجز تخمینی باتوں پر عمل کرنے کے اتنا یقینی ہے کہ انہوں نے انہیں قتل نہیں کیا ۔

And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

اور یوں کہنے کے باعث کہ ہم نے اللہ کے رسول مسیح عیسیٰ بن مریم کو قتل کر دیا حالانکہ نہ تو انہوں نے اسے قتل کیا نہ سولی پر چڑھایا بلکہ ان کے لئے ( عیسیٰ ) کا شبیہ بنا دیا گیا تھا یقین جانو کہ حضرت عیسیٰ ( علیہ السلام ) کے بارے میں اختلاف کرنے والے ان کے بارے میں شک میں ہیں انہیں اس کا کوئی یقین نہیں بجز تخمینی باتوں پر عمل کرنے کے اتنا یقینی ہے کہ انہوں نے انہیں قتل نہیں کیا ۔

And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

جو نفیس چیزیں ان کے لئے حلال کی گئی تھیں وہ ہم نے ان پر حرام کر دیں ان کے ظلم کے باعث اور اللہ تعالٰی کی راہ سے اکثر لوگوں کو روکنے کے باعث

For wrongdoing on the part of the Jews, We made unlawful for them [certain] good foods which had been lawful to them, and for their averting from the way of Allah many [people],

جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا اور ظلم کیا انہیں اللہ تعالٰی ہرگز ہرگز نہ بخشے گا اور نہ انہیں کوئی راہ دکھائے گا

Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path.

پس جو لوگ ایمان لائے ہیں اور شائستہ اعمال کئے ہیں ان کو ان کا پورا پورا ثواب عنایت فرمائے گا اور اپنے فضل سے انہیں اور زیادہ دے گا اور جن لوگوں نے ننگ و عار اور سرکشی اور انکار کیا انہیں المناک عذاب دے گا اور وہ اپنے لئے سوائے اللہ کے کوئی حمایتی اور امداد کرنے والا نہ پائیں گے ۔

And as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards and grant them extra from His bounty. But as for those who disdained and were arrogant, He will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or helper.

آپ سے دریافت کرتے ہیں کہ ان کے لئے کیا کچھ حلال ہے؟ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ تمام پاک چیزیں تمہارے لئے حلال کی گئیں ہیں اور جن شکار کھیلنے والے جانوروں کو تم نے سدھار رکھا ہے ، یعنی جنہیں تم تھوڑا بہت وہ سکھاتے ہو جس کی تعلیم اللہ تعالٰی نے تمہیں دے رکھی ہے پس جس شکار کو وہ تمہارے لئے پکڑ کر روک رکھیں تو تم اس سے کھا لو اور اس پر اللہ تعالٰی کے نام کا ذکر کر لیا کرو اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو ، یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی جلد حساب لینے والا ہے ۔

They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made lawful for them. Say, "Lawful for you are [all] good foods and [game caught by] what you have trained of hunting animals which you train as Allah has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allah upon it, and fear Allah ." Indeed, Allah is swift in account.

اللہ تعالٰی کا وعدہ ہے جو ایمان لائیں اور نیک کام کریں ان کے لئے وسیع مغفرت اور بہت بڑا اجر و ثواب ہے ۔

Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds [that] for them there is forgiveness and great reward.

جو اللہ تعالٰی سے اور اس کے رسول سے لڑیں اور زمین میں فساد کرتے پھریں ان کی سزا یہی ہے کہ وہ قتل کر دیے جائیں یا سولی چڑھا دیے جائیں یا مخالف جانب سے ان کے ہاتھ پاؤں کاٹ دیئے جائیں ۔ یا انہیں جلا وطن کر دیا جائے یہ تو ہوئی انکی دنیاوی ذلت اور خواری اور آخرت میں ان کے لئے بڑا بھاری عذاب ہے ۔

Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,

یقین مانو کہ کافروں کے لئے اگر وہ سب کچھ ہو جو ساری زمین میں ہےبلکہ اس کےمثل اور بھی ہو اور وہ اس سب کو قیامت کے دن کے عذاب کے بدلے فدیے میں دینا چاہیں تو بھی ناممکن ہے کہ ان کا فدیہ قبول کر لیا جائے ، ان کے لئے تو دردناک عذاب ہی ہے

Indeed, those who disbelieve - if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and for them is a painful punishment

اے رسول! آپ ان لوگوں کے پیچھے نہ کڑھئے جو کفر میں سبقت کر رہے ہیں خواہ وہ ان ( منافقوں ) میں سے ہوں جو زبانی تو ایمان کا دعوی کرتے ہیں لیکن حقیقتاً ان کے دل با ایمان نہیں اور یہودیوں میں سے کچھ لوگ ایسے ہیں جو غلط باتیں سننے کے عادی ہیں اور ان لوگوں کے جاسوس ہیں جو اب تک آپ کے پاس نہیں آئے وہ کلمات کے اصلی موقعہ کو چھوڑ کر انہیں متغیر کر دیا کرتے ہیں کہتے ہیں کہ اگر تم یہی حکم دیئے جاؤ تو قبول کر لینا اور اگر یہ حکم نہ دیئے جاؤ تو الگ تھلگ رہنا اور جس کا خراب کرنا اللہ کو منظور ہو تو آپ اس کے لئے خدائی ہدایت میں سے کسی چیز کے مختار نہیں ۔ اللہ تعالٰی کا ارادہ ان کے دلوں کو پاک کرنے کا نہیں ان کے لئے دنیا میں بھی بڑی ذلت اور رسوائی ہے اور آخرت میں بھی ان کے لئے بڑی سخت سزا ہے ۔

O Messenger, let them not grieve you who hasten into disbelief of those who say, "We believe" with their mouths, but their hearts believe not, and from among the Jews. [They are] avid listeners to falsehood, listening to another people who have not come to you. They distort words beyond their [proper] usages, saying "If you are given this, take it; but if you are not given it, then beware." But he for whom Allah intends fitnah - never will you possess [power to do] for him a thing against Allah . Those are the ones for whom Allah does not intend to purify their hearts. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.

ان میں سے بہت سے لوگوں کو آپ دیکھیں گے کہ وہ کافروں سے دوستیاں کرتے ہیں ، جو کچھ انہوں نے اپنے لئے آگے بھیج رکھا ہے وہ بہت برا ہے کہ اللہ تعالٰی ان سے ناراض ہوا اور وہ ہمیشہ عذاب میں رہیں گے

You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally.

اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالٰی نے جو احکام نازل فرمائے ہیں ان کی طرف اور رسول کی طرف رجوع کرو تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم کو وہی کافی ہے جس پر ہم نے اپنے بڑوں کو پایا ، کیا اگرچہ ان کے بڑے نہ کچھ سمجھ رکھتے ہوں اور نہ ہدایت رکھتے ہوں ۔

And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger," they say, "Sufficient for us is that upon which we found our fathers." Even though their fathers knew nothing, nor were they guided?

میں نے تو ان سے اور کچھ نہیں کہا مگر صرف وہی جو تو نے مجھ سے کہنے کو فرمایا تھا کہ تم اللہ کی بندگی اختیار کرو جو میرا بھی رب ہے اور تمہارا بھی رب ہے میں ان پر گواہ رہا جب تک ان میں رہا ۔ پھر جب تو نے مجھ کو اُٹھا لیا تو تو ہی ان پر مطلع رہا ۔ اور تو ہرچیز کی پوری خبر رکھتا ہے ۔

I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.

اگر تو ان کو سزا دے تو یہ تیرے بندے ہیں اور اگر تو ان کو معاف فرما دے تو تو زبردست ہے حکمت والا ہے ۔

If You should punish them - indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them - indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

اللہ ارشاد فرمائے گا کہ یہ وہ دن ہے کہ جو لوگ سچے تھے ان کا سچا ہونا ان کے کام آئے گا ان کو باغ ملیں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہونگی جن میں وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کو رہیں گے اللہ تعالٰی ان سے راضی اور خوش اور یہ اللہ سے راضی اور خوش ہیں ، یہ بڑی ( بھاری ) کامیابی ہے ۔

Allah will say, "This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness." For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them, and they with Him. That is the great attainment.

بلکہ جس چیز کو اس سے قبل چھپایا کرتے تھے وہ ان کے سامنے آگئی ہے اور اگر یہ لوگ پھر واپس بھیج دیئے جائیں تب بھی یہ وہی کام کریں گے جس سے اُن کو منع کیا گیا تھا اور یقیناً یہ بالکل جھو ٹے ہیں ۔

But what they concealed before has [now] appeared to them. And even if they were returned, they would return to that which they were forbidden; and indeed, they are liars.

اور ایسے لوگوں کو ڈرائیے جو اس بات سے اندیشہ رکھتے ہیں کہ اپنے رب کے پاس ایسی حالت میں جمع کئے جائیں گے کہ جتنے غیر اللہ ہیں نہ کوئی ان کا مددگار ہوگا اور نہ کوئی شفیع ہوگا اس امید پر کہ وہ ڈر جائیں ۔

And warn by the Qur'an those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord - for them besides Him will be no protector and no intercessor - that they might become righteous.

اور ایسے لوگوں سے بالکل کنارہ کش رہیں جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو کھیل تماشہ بنا رکھا ہے اور دنیوی زندگی نے انھیں دھوکا میں ڈال رکھا ہے اور اس قرآن کے ذریعے سے نصیحت بھی کرتے رہیں تاکہ کوئی شخص اپنے کردار کے سبب ( اس طرح ) نہ پھنس جائے کہ کوئی غیر اللہ اس کا نہ مددگار ہو اور نہ سفارشی اور یہ کیفیت ہو کہ اگر دنیا بھر کا معاوضہ بھی دے ڈالے تب بھی اس سے نہ لیا جائے ایسے ہی ہیں کہ اپنے کردار کے سبب پھنس گئے ، ان کے لئے نہایت تیز گرم پانی پینے کے لئے ہوگا اور دردناک سزا ہوگی اپنے کفر کے سبب ۔

And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Qur'an, lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allah no protector and no intercessor. And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve.

ان لوگوں کے واسطے ان کے رب کے پاس سلامتی کا گھر ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی ان سے محبت رکھتا ہے ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے

For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord. And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.

اس نے کہا بسبب اس کے کہ آپ نے مجھ کو گمراہ کیا ہے میں قسم کھاتا ہوں کہ میں ان کے لئے آپ کی سیدھی راہ پر بیٹھوں گا ۔

[Satan] said, "Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path.

جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا اور ان سے تکبر کیا ان کے لئے آسمان کے دروازے نہ کھولے جائیں گے اور وہ لوگ کبھی جنت میں نہ جائیں گے جب تک کہ اونٹ سوئی کے ناکہ کے اندر سے نہ چلا جائے اور ہم مجرم لوگوں کو ایسی ہی سزا دیتے ہیں ۔

Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals.

ان کے لئے آتش دوزخ کا بچھونا ہوگا اور ان کے اوپر ( اسی کا ) اوڑھنا ہوگا اور ہم ایسے ظالموں کو ایسی ہی سزا دیتے ہیں ۔

They will have from Hell a bed and over them coverings [of fire]. And thus do We recompense the wrongdoers.

اور ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو دریا سے پار اتار دیا ۔ پس ان لوگوں کا ایک قوم پر گزر ہوا جو اپنے چند بتوں سے لگے بیٹھے تھے ، کہنے لگے اے موسیٰ! ہمارے لئے بھی ایک معبود ایسا ہی مقرر کر دیجئے! جیسے ان کے یہ معبود ہیں ۔ آپ نے فرمایا کہ واقعی تم لوگوں میں بڑی جہالت ہے ۔

And We took the Children of Israel across the sea; then they came upon a people intent in devotion to [some] idols of theirs. They said, "O Moses, make for us a god just as they have gods." He said, "Indeed, you are a people behaving ignorantly.

سو بدل ڈالا ان ظالموں نے ایک اور کلمہ جو خلاف تھا اس کلمہ کے جس کی ان سے فرمائش کی گئی تھی ۔ اس پر ہم نے ان پر ایک آفت سماوی بھیجی اس وجہ سے کہ وہ حکم کو ضائع کرتے تھے ۔

But those who wronged among them changed [the words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them. So We sent upon them a punishment from the sky for the wrong that they were doing.

یعنی جب وہ ، جس کام سے ان کو منع کیا گیا تھا اس میں حد سے نکل گئے تو ہم نے ان کو کہہ دیا تم ذلیل بندر بن جاؤ ۔

So when they were insolent about that which they had been forbidden, We said to them, "Be apes, despised."

اور ہم نے ایسے بہت سے جن اور انسان دوزخ کے لئے پیدا کئے ہیں جن کے دل ایسے ہیں جن سے نہیں سمجھتے اور جن کی آنکھیں ایسی ہیں جن سے نہیں دیکھتے اور جن کے کان ایسے ہیں جن سے نہیں سنتے ۔ یہ لوگ چوپاؤں کی طرح ہیں بلکہ یہ ان سے بھی زیادہ گمراہ ہیں یہی لوگ غافل ہیں ۔

And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.

اور میں ان کو مہلت دیتا ہوں بیشک میری تدبیر بڑی مضبوط ہے ۔

And I will give them time. Indeed, my plan is firm.

اور وہ ان کو کسی قسم کی مدد نہیں دے سکتے اور وہ خود بھی مدد نہیں کر سکتے ۔

And the false deities are unable to [give] them help, nor can they help themselves.

کیا ان کے پاؤں ہیں جن سے وہ چلتے ہوں یا ان کے ہاتھ ہیں جن سے وہ کسی چیز کو تھام سکیں ، یا ان کی آنکھیں ہیں جن سے وہ دیکھتے ہوں ، یا ان کے کان ہیں جن سے وہ سنتے ہوں آپ کہہ دیجئے! تم اپنے سب شرکا کو بلا لو ، پھر میری ضرر رسانی کی تدبیر کرو پھر مجھ کو ذرا مہلت مت دو ۔

Do they have feet by which they walk? Or do they have hands by which they strike? Or do they have eyes by which they see? Or do they have ears by which they hear? Say, [O Muhammad], "Call your 'partners' and then conspire against me and give me no respite.

کیا ان کے پاؤں ہیں جن سے وہ چلتے ہوں یا ان کے ہاتھ ہیں جن سے وہ کسی چیز کو تھام سکیں ، یا ان کی آنکھیں ہیں جن سے وہ دیکھتے ہوں ، یا ان کے کان ہیں جن سے وہ سنتے ہوں آپ کہہ دیجئے! تم اپنے سب شرکا کو بلا لو ، پھر میری ضرر رسانی کی تدبیر کرو پھر مجھ کو ذرا مہلت مت دو ۔

کیا ان کے پاؤں ہیں جن سے وہ چلتے ہوں یا ان کے ہاتھ ہیں جن سے وہ کسی چیز کو تھام سکیں ، یا ان کی آنکھیں ہیں جن سے وہ دیکھتے ہوں ، یا ان کے کان ہیں جن سے وہ سنتے ہوں آپ کہہ دیجئے! تم اپنے سب شرکا کو بلا لو ، پھر میری ضرر رسانی کی تدبیر کرو پھر مجھ کو ذرا مہلت مت دو ۔

Do they have feet by which they walk? Or do they have hands by which they strike? Or do they have eyes by which they see? Or do they have ears by which they hear? Say, [O Muhammad], "Call your 'partners' and then conspire against me and give me no respite.

سچے ایمان والے یہ لوگ ہیں ان کے لئے بڑے درجے ہیں ان کے رب کے پاس اور مغفرت اور عزت کی روزی ہے ۔

Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord and forgiveness and noble provision.

اور ان میں کیا بات ہے کہ ان کو اللہ تعالٰی سزا نہ دے حالانکہ وہ لوگ مسجد حرام سے روکتے ہیں ، جب کہ وہ لوگ اس مسجد کے متولی نہیں ۔ اس کے متولی تو سوا متقیوں کے اور اشخاص نہیں ، لیکن ان میں اکثر لوگ علم نہیں رکھتے ۔

But why should Allah not punish them while they obstruct [people] from al-Masjid al- Haram and they were not [fit to be] its guardians? Its [true] guardians are not but the righteous, but most of them do not know.

آپ ان کافروں سے کہہ دیجئے! کہ اگر یہ لوگ باز آجائیں تو ان کے سارے گناہ جو پہلے ہو چکے ہیں سب معاف کر دئے جائیں گے اور اگر اپنی وہی عادت رکھیں گے تو ( کفار ) سابقین کے حق میں قانون نافذ ہو چکا ہے ۔

Say to those who have disbelieved [that] if they cease, what has previously occurred will be forgiven for them. But if they return [to hostility] - then the precedent of the former [rebellious] peoples has already taken place.

تم ان کے مقابلے کے لئے اپنی طاقت بھر قوت کی تیاری کرو اور گھوڑوں کے تیار رکھنے کی کہ اس سے تم اللہ کے دشمنوں کو خوف زدہ رکھ سکو اور ان کے سوا اوروں کو بھی ، جنہیں تم نہیں جانتے اللہ انھیں خوب جان رہا ہے جو کچھ بھی اللہ کی راہ میں صرف کرو گے وہ تمہیں پورا پورا دیا جائے گا اور تمہارا حق نہ مارا جائے گا ۔

And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.

جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور ہجرت کی اور اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا اور جنہوں نے پناہ دی اور مدد پہنچائی ۔ یہی لوگ سچے مومن ہیں ، ان کے لئے بخشش ہے اور عزت کی روزی ۔

But those who have believed and emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - it is they who are the believers, truly. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.

پھر حرمت والے مہینوں کے گزرتے ہی مشرکوں کو جہاں پاؤ قتل کرو انہیں گرفتار کروان کا محاصرہ کرلو اور ان کی تاک میں ہر گھاٹی میں جابیٹھو ، ہاں اگر وہ توبہ کرلیں اور نماز کے پابند ہوجائیں اور زکوۃ ادا کرنے لگیں تو تم ان کی راہیں چھوڑ دو یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

مشرکوں کے لئے عہد اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے نزدیک کیسے رہ سکتا ہے سوائے ان کے جن سے تم نے عہد و پیمان مسجد حرام کے پاس کیا ہے جب تک وہ لوگ تم سے معاہدہ نبھائیں تم بھی ان سے وفاداری کرو ، اللہ تعالٰی متقیوں سے محبت رکھتا ہے ۔

How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].

اگر یہ لوگ عہد و پیمان کے بعد بھی اپنی قسموں کو توڑ دیں اور تمہارے دین میں طعنہ زنی کریں تو تم بھی ان سرداران کفر سے بھڑ جاؤ ۔ ان کی قسمیں کوئی چیز نہیں ممکن ہے کہ اس طرح وہ بھی باز آجائیں ۔

And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease.

مہینوں کا آگے پیچھے کر دینا کفر کی زیادتی ہے اس سے وہ لوگ گمراہی میں ڈالے جاتے ہیں جو کافر ہیں ۔ ایک سال تو اسے حلال کر لیتے ہیں اور ایک سال اسی کو حرمت والا کر لیتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے جو حرمت رکھی ہے اس کے شمار میں تو موافقت کرلیں پھر اسے حلال بنالیں جسے اللہ نے حرام کیا ہے انہیں ان کے برے کام بھلے دکھا دیئے گئے ہیں اور قوم کفار کی اللہ رہنمائی نہیں فرماتا ۔

Indeed, the postponing [of restriction within sacred months] is an increase in disbelief by which those who have disbelieved are led [further] astray. They make it lawful one year and unlawful another year to correspond to the number made unlawful by Allah and [thus] make lawful what Allah has made unlawful. Made pleasing to them is the evil of their deeds; and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.

اللہ تجھے معاف فرما دے تو نے انہیں کیوں اجازت دے دی؟ بغیر اس کے کہ تیرے سامنے سچے لوگ کھل جائیں اور تو جھوٹے لوگوں کو بھی جان لے ۔

May Allah pardon you, [O Muhammad]; why did you give them permission [to remain behind]? [You should not have] until it was evident to you who were truthful and you knew [who were] the liars.

اگر یہ تم میں مل کر نکلتے بھی تو تمہارے لئے سوائے فساد کے اور کوئی چیز نہ بڑھاتے بلکہ تمہارے درمیان خوب گھوڑے دوڑا دیتے اور تم میں فتنے ڈالنے کی تلاش میں رہتے ان کے ماننے والے خود تم میں موجود ہیں ، اور اللہ ان ظالموں کو خوب جانتا ہے ۔

Had they gone forth with you, they would not have increased you except in confusion, and they would have been active among you, seeking [to cause] you fitnah. And among you are avid listeners to them. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.

ان میں سے وہ بھی ہیں جو پیغمبر کو ایذا دیتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کان کا کچا ہے ، آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ وہ کان تمہارے بھلے کے لئے ہیں وہ اللہ پر ایمان رکھتا ہے اور مسلمانوں کی بات کا یقین کرتا ہے اور تم میں سے جو اہل ایمان ہیں یہ ان کے لئے رحمت ہے ، رسول اللہ ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) کو جو لوگ ایذا دیتے ہیں ان کے لئے دکھ کی مار ہے ۔

And among them are those who abuse the Prophet and say, "He is an ear." Say, "[It is] an ear of goodness for you that believes in Allah and believes the believers and [is] a mercy to those who believe among you." And those who abuse the Messenger of Allah - for them is a painful punishment.

یہ اللہ کی قسمیں کھا کر کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے نہیں کہا ، حالانکہ یقیناً کفر کا کلمہ ان کی زبان سے نکل چکا ہے اور یہ اپنے اسلام کے بعد کافر ہوگئے ہیں اور انہوں نے اس کام کا قصد بھی کیا جو پورا نہ کر سکے یہ صرف اسی بات کا انتقام لے رہے ہیں کہ انہیں اللہ نے اپنے فضل سے اور اس کے رسول ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) نے دولتمند کر دیا اگر یہ بھی توبہ کرلیں تو یہ ان کے حق میں بہتر ہے اور اگر منہ موڑے رہیں تو اللہ تعالٰی انہیں دنیا و آخرت میں دردناک عذاب دے گا اور زمین بھر میں ان کا کوئی حمایتی اور مددگار نہ کھڑا ہوگا ۔

They swear by Allah that they did not say [anything against the Prophet] while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their [pretense of] Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper.

ان کے لئے تو استغفار کر یا نہ کر ۔ اگر تو ستر مرتبہ بھی ان کے لئے استغفار کرے تو بھی اللہ انہیں ہرگز نہ بخشے گا یہ اس لئے کہ انہوں نے اللہ سے اور اس کے رسول سے کفر کیا ہے ایسے فاسق لوگوں کو رب کریم ہدایت نہیں دیتا ۔

Ask forgiveness for them, [O Muhammad], or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you should ask forgiveness for them seventy times - never will Allah forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.

ان کے لئے تو استغفار کر یا نہ کر ۔ اگر تو ستر مرتبہ بھی ان کے لئے استغفار کرے تو بھی اللہ انہیں ہرگز نہ بخشے گا یہ اس لئے کہ انہوں نے اللہ سے اور اس کے رسول سے کفر کیا ہے ایسے فاسق لوگوں کو رب کریم ہدایت نہیں دیتا ۔

Ask forgiveness for them, [O Muhammad], or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you should ask forgiveness for them seventy times - never will Allah forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.
