And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."
Aur jab inn say kaha jata hai kay zamin mein fasaad na kero o jawab detay hain kay hum to sirf islaah kerney walay hain.
और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि ज़मीन में फ़साद न करो, तो वे जवाब देते हैं कि हम तो इसलाह करने वाले हैं।
And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.
Aur jab inn say kaha jata hai kay aur logon ( yani sahaba ) ki tarah tum bhi eman lao to jawab detay hain kay kiya hum aisa eman layen jaisa bey waqoof laye hain khabardaar hojao! yaqeenan yehi bey waqoof hain lekin jantay nahi.
और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि तुम भी उसी तरह ईमान ले आओ जैसे दूसरे लोग ईमान लाए हैं तो वे कहते हैं कि क्या हम भी उसी तरह ईमान ले आएं जैसे बेवक़ूफ़ लोग ईमान लाए हैं ख़ूब अच्छी तरह सुन लो कि यही लोग बेवक़ूफ़ हैं लेकिन वे यह बात नहीं जानते।
And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."
Aur jab eman walon say miltay hain to kehtay hain kay hum bhi eman walay hain aur jab apney baron kay pass jatay hain to kehtay hain kay hum to tumharay sath hain hum to inn say sirf mazaq kertay hain.
और जब वे ईमान वालों से मिलते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए हैं, और जब अपने शैतानों की मजलिस में पहुँचते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम तुम्हारे साथ हैं, हम तो उनसे महज़ हँसी करते हैं।
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."
Aur jab teray rab ney farishton say kaha kay mein zamin mein khalifa bananey wala hun to unhon ney kaha aisay shaks ko kiyon khalifa peda kerta hai jo zamin mein fasaad keray aur khoon bahaye? Aur hum teri tasbeeh hamd aur pakeezgi biyan kerney wala hain. Allah Taalaa ney farmaya jo mein janta hun tum nahi jantay.
और जब तुम्हारे रब ने फ़रिश्तों से कहा कि मैं ज़मीन में एक ख़लीफ़ा बनाने वाला हूँ, फ़रिश्तों ने कहाः क्या आप ज़मीन में ऐसे लोगों को बसाओगे जो उसमें फ़साद मचाएंगे और ख़ून बहाएंगे, और हम आपकी हम्द करते हैं और आपकी पाकी बयान करते हैं, अल्लाह ने कहाः मैं जानता हूँ जो तुम नहीं जानते।
And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow." They said, "Do you take us in ridicule?" He said, "I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant."
Aur ( hazrat ) musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney jab apni qom say kaha kay Allah Taalaa tumhen aik gaaye zibah kerney ka hukum deta hai to unhon ney kaha hum say mazak kiyon kertay ho? Aap ney jawab diya kay mein aisa jahil honey say Allah ki panah pakarta hun.
और जब मूसा ने अपनी क़ौम से कहा कि अल्लाह तुमको हुक्म देता है कि तुम एक गाय ज़बह करो, उन्होंने कहा कि क्या तुम हमसे मज़ाक़ कर रहे हो? मूसा ने कहा कि मैं अल्लाह की पनाह चाहता हूँ कि मैं ऐसा नादान बनूँ।
And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We have believed"; but when they are alone with one another, they say, "Do you talk to them about what Allah has revealed to you so they can argue with you about it before your Lord?" Then will you not reason?
Jab eman walon say miltay hain to apni eman daari zahir kertay hain aur jab aapas mein miltay hain to kehtay hain kay musalmanon ko kiyon woh baaten phonchatay ho jo Allah Taalaa ney tumhen sikhaee hain kiya jantay nahi kay yeh to Allah Taalaa kay pass tum per inn ki hujjat hojaye gi.
जब वे मुसलमानों से मिलते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए हुए हैं, और जब आपस में एक-दूसरे से मिलते हैं तो कहते हैं: क्या तुम उनको वे बातें बताते हो जो अल्लाह ने तुम पर खोली हैं, कि वे तुम्हारे रब के पास तुम से हुज्जत करें, क्या तुम समझते नहीं?
Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return."
Jinhen jab koi musibat aati hai to keh diya kertay hain kay hum to khud Allah Taalaa ki milkiyat hain aur hum ussi ki taraf lotney walay hain.
जिनका हाल यह है कि जब उनको कोई मुसीबत पहुँचती है तो वे कहते हैं: हम अल्लाह के हैं और हम उसी की तरफ़ लौटने वाले हैं।
And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, Allah has sent to you Saul as a king." They said, "How can he have kingship over us while we are more worthy of kingship than him and he has not been given any measure of wealth?" He said, "Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing [in favor] and Knowing."
Aur unhen unn kay nabi ney farmaya kay Allah Taalaa ney taloot ko tumahra badshah bana diya hai to kehney lagay bhala uss ki hum per hukoomat kaisay ho sakti hai? Uss say to boht ziyada haq daar badshaat kay hum hain uss ko to maali kushadgi bhi nahi di gaee. Nabi ney farmaya suno Allah Taalaa ney ussi ko tum per bar gazeedah kiya hai aur ussay ilmi aur jismani bartari bhi ata farmaee hai baat yeh hai kay Allah jisay chahaye apna mulk dey Allah Taalaa kushadgi wala aur ilm wala hai.
और उनके नबी ने उनसे कहाः अल्लाह ने “तालूत” को तुम्हारे लिए बादशाह मुक़र्रर किया है, उन्होंने कहा कि उसको हमारे ऊपर बादशाही कैसे मिल सकती है हालाँकि हम उसके मुक़ाबले में बादशाहत के ज़्यादा हक़दार हैं, और उसको तो ज़्यादा दौलत भी हासिल नहीं, नबी ने कहाः अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे मुक़ाबले में उसको चुना है और इल्म और जिस्म में उसको ज़्यादती दी है, और अल्लाह अपनी सल्तनत जिसको चाहता है देता है, अल्लाह बड़ी वुसअत वाला, जानने वाला है।
Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah . But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.
Sood khor log na kharay hongay magar ussi tarah jiss tarah woh khara hota hai jissay shetan chu ker khabti bana dey yeh iss liye kay yeh kaha kertay thay kay tijarat bhi to sood hi ki tarah hai halankay Allah Taalaa ney tijarat ko halal kiya aur sood ko haram jo shaks apney pass aaee hui Allah Taalaa ki naseehat sunn ker ruk gaya uss kay liye woh hai jo guzra aur uss ka moamla Allah Taalaa ki taraf hai aur jo phir doobara ( haram ki taraf ) lota woh jahannumi hai aisay log hamesha hi uss mein rahen gay.
जो लोग सूद खाते हैं वे (क़यामत में) न उठेंगे मगर उस शख़्स की मानिंद जिसको शैतान ने छू कर पागल बना दिया हो, यह इसलिए कि उन्होंने कहा कि तिजारत करना भी वैसा ही है जैसा सूद लेना; हालाँकि अल्लाह ने तिजारत को हलाल ठहराया है और सूद को हराम किया है, फिर जिस शख़्स के पास उसके रब की तरफ़ से नसीहत पहुँची और वह बाज़ आ गया तो जो कुछ वह ले चुका वह उसके लिए है, और उसका मामला अल्लाह के हवाले है, और जो शख़्स फिर वही करे तो वही लोग दोज़ख़ी हैं, वे उसमें हमेशा रहेंगे।
And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [ Allah ] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."
Jab Allah Taalaa ney nabiyon say ehad liya kay jo kuch mein tumhen kitab-o-hikmat doon phir tumharay pass woh rasool aaye jo tumharay pass ki cheez ko sach bataye to tumharay liye uss per eman lana aur uss ki madad kerna zaroori hai. Farmaya kay tum iss kay iqrari ho aur iss per mera zimma ley rahey ho? Sab ney kaha humen iqrar hai farmaya to abb gawah raho aur khud mein bhi tumharay sath gawahon mein hun.
और जब अल्लाह ने पैग़म्बरों से अहद लिया कि जो कुछ मैंने तुमको किताब और हिकमत दी, फिर तुम्हारे पास पैग़म्बर आए जो सच्चा साबित करे उन (पेशीन-गोइयों) को जो तुम्हारे पास हैं तो तुम उस पर ईमान लाओगे और उसकी मदद करोगे, अल्लाह ने कहाः क्या तुमने इक़रार किया और उस पर मेरा अहद क़बूल किया? उन्होंने कहाः हम इक़रार करते हैं, फ़रमायाः अब गवाह रहो और मैं भी तुम्हारे साथ गवाह हूँ।
Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture - all of it. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts."
Agar aqal mand ho ( to ghor kero ) haan tum to enhen chahtay ho aur woh tum say mohabbat nahi rakhtay tum poori kitab ki mantay ho ( woh nahi mantay phir mohabbat kaisi? ) yeh tumharay samney to apney eman ka iqrar kertay hain lekin tanahi mein maaray gussay kay ungliyan chabatay hain kehdo kay apney gussay hi mein marr jao Allah Taalaa dilon kay raazon ko bakhoobi janta hai.
तुम उनसे मुहब्बत रखते हो मगर वे तुम से मुहब्बत नहीं रखते; हालाँकि तुम सब आसमानी किताबों को मानते हो, और जब वे तुम से मिलते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए, और जब आपस में मिलते हैं तो तुम पर ग़ुस्से से उंगलियाँ काटते हैं, आप कह दीजिए कि तुम अपने ग़ुस्से में मर जाओ, बेशक अल्लाह दिलों की बात को जानता है।
Allah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, "Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.
Yaqeenan Allah Taalaa ney unn logon ka qol bhi suna jinhon ney kaha kay Allah Taalaa faqir hai aur hum to toongar hain unn kay iss qol ko hum likh len gay. Aur inn ka anbiya ko bila waja qatal kerna bhi aur hum inn say kahen gay kay jalney wala azab chakho!.
अल्लाह ने उन लोगों की बात सुन ली जिन्होंने कहा कि अल्लाह मोहताज है और हम मालदार हैं, हम लिख लेंगे उनकी इस बात को और उनके पैग़म्बरों को नाहक़ मार डालने को भी, और हम कहेंगे कि अब आग का अज़ाब चखो।
[They are] those who said, "Indeed, Allah has taken our promise not to believe any messenger until he brings us an offering which fire [from heaven] will consume." Say, "There have already come to you messengers before me with clear proofs and [even] that of which you speak. So why did you kill them, if you should be truthful?"
Yeh woh log hai jonhon ney kaha kay Allah Taalaa ney humen hukum diya hai kay kissi rasool ko na manen jab tak woh humaray pass aisi qurbani na laye jissay aag kha jaye. Aap keh dijiye kay agar um sachay ho to mujh say pehlay tumharay pass jo rasool deegar moajzon kay sath yeh bhi laye jissay tum keh rahey ho to phir tum ney unhen kiyon maar dala?
जो लोग कहते हैं कि अल्लाह हम से यह वादा ले चुका है कि हम किसी रसूल को तसलीम न करें जब तक वह हमारे सामने ऐसी क़ुरबानी पेश न करे जिसको आग खा ले, उनसे कहिए कि मुझ से पहले तुम्हारे पास कई रसूल आए खुली निशानियाँ लेकर और वे चीज़ लेकर जिसको तुम कह रहे हो, फिर तुम ने क्यों उनको मार डाला, अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination.
Jo log apni janon per zulm kerney walay hain jab farishtay unn ki rooh qabz kertay hain to poochtay hain tum kiss haal mein thay? Yeh jawab detay hain kay hum apni jagah kamzor aur maghloob thay. Farishtay kehtay hain kiya Allah Taalaa ki zamin kushada na thi kay tum hijrat ker jatay? Yehi log hain jin ka thikana dozakh hai aur woh phonchney ki buri jagah hai.
यक़ीनन जो लोग अपना बुरा कर रहे हैं जब उनकी जान फ़रिश्ते निकालेंगे तो वे उनसे पूछेंगे कि तुम किस हाल में थे, वे कहेंगे कि हम ज़मीन में बेबस थे, फ़रिश्ते कहेंगेः क्या अल्लाह की ज़मीन कुशादा न थी कि तुम वतन छोड़ कर वहाँ चले जाते, ये वे लोग हैं जिनका ठिकाना जहन्नम है और वह बहुत बुरा ठिकाना है।
Those who wait [and watch] you. Then if you gain a victory from Allah , they say, "Were we not with you?" But if the disbelievers have a success, they say [to them], "Did we not gain the advantage over you, but we protected you from the believers?" Allah will judge between [all of] you on the Day of Resurrection, and never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to overcome them].
Yeh log tumharay anjam kaar ka intizar kertay rehtay hain phir agar tumhen Allah fatah dey to yeh kehtay hain kay kiya hum tumharay sathi nahi aur kafiron ko thora sa ghlba mill jaye to ( unn say ) kehtay hain kay hum tum per ghalib na aaney lagay thay aur kiya hum ney tumhen musalmanon kay haathon say na bachaya tha? Pus qayamat mein khud Allah Taalaa tumharay darmiyan faisla keray ga aur Allah Taalaa kafiron ko eman walon per hergiz raah na dey ga.
वे मुनाफ़िक़ तुम्हारे बारे में इन्तिज़ार में रहते हैं, अगर तुमको अल्लाह की तरफ़ से कोई फ़तह हासिल होती है तो कहते हैं कि क्या हम तुम्हारे साथ न थे, और अगर काफ़िरों को कोई हिस्सा मिल जाए तो उनसे कहेंगे कि क्या हम तुम्हारे ख़िलाफ़ लड़ने पर क़ादिर न थे और फिर भी हमने तुमको मुसलमानों से बचाया, तो अल्लाह ही तुम लोगों के दरमियान क़यामत के दिन फ़ैसला करेगा, और अल्लाह हरगिज़ काफ़िरों को मोमिनों पर कोई राह न देगा।

वे मुनाफ़िक़ तुम्हारे बारे में इन्तिज़ार में रहते हैं, अगर तुमको अल्लाह की तरफ़ से कोई फ़तह हासिल होती है तो कहते हैं कि क्या हम तुम्हारे साथ न थे, और अगर काफ़िरों को कोई हिस्सा मिल जाए तो उनसे कहेंगे कि क्या हम तुम्हारे ख़िलाफ़ लड़ने पर क़ादिर न थे और फिर भी हमने तुमको मुसलमानों से बचाया, तो अल्लाह ही तुम लोगों के दरमियान क़यामत के दिन फ़ैसला करेगा, और अल्लाह हरगिज़ काफ़िरों को मोमिनों पर कोई राह न देगा।
And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their covenant; but they forgot a portion of that of which they were reminded. So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do.
Aur jo apney aap ko nasrani kehtay hain hum ney unn say bhi ehad-o-paymaan liya unhon ney bhi iss ka bara hissa faramosh ker diya jo unhen naseehat ki gaee thi to hum ney bhi unn kay aapas mein bughz-o-adawat daal di jo ta-qayamat rahey gi aur jo kuch yeh kertay thay un-qarib Allah Taalaa unhen sab bata dey ga.
और कुछ लोग कहते हैं कि हम नसरानी हैं, उनसे हमने अहद लिया था जो कुछ नसीहत उनको की गई थी उसका बड़ा हिस्सा वे भुला बैठे, फिर हमने क़यामत तक के लिए उनके दरमियान दुश्मनी और बुग़्ज़ डाल दिया, और आख़िर में अल्लाह उनको आगाह कर देगा उससे जो कुछ वे कर रहे थे।
They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
Yaqeenan woh log kafir hogaye jinhon ney kaha kay Allah hi maseeh ibn-e-mariyum hai aap inn say keh dijiye kay agar Allah maseeh ibn-e-marium aur uss ki walida aur ruy-e-zamin kay sab logon ko halak ker dena chahaye to kaun hai jo Allah Taalaa per kuch bhi ikhtiyar rakhta ho? Aasmanon-o-zamin aur dono kay darmiyan ka kul mulk Allah Taalaa hi ka hai woh jo chahata hai peda kerta hai aur Allah Taalaa her cheez per qadir hai.
बेशक उन लोगों ने कुफ़्र किया जिन्होंने कहा कि अल्लाह ही तो मसीह बिन मरियम है, आप कह दीजिए कि फिर कौन इख़्तियार रखता है अल्लाह के आगे किसी भी चीज़ का अगर वह चाहे कि हलाक कर दे मसीह बिन मरियम को और उनकी माँ को और जितने लोग ज़मीन में हैं सबको, और अल्लाह ही के लिए है बादशाही आसमानों और ज़मीन की और जो कुछ उनके दरमियान है, वह पैदा करता है जो कुछ चाहता है, और अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है।
O Messenger, let them not grieve you who hasten into disbelief of those who say, "We believe" with their mouths, but their hearts believe not, and from among the Jews. [They are] avid listeners to falsehood, listening to another people who have not come to you. They distort words beyond their [proper] usages, saying "If you are given this, take it; but if you are not given it, then beware." But he for whom Allah intends fitnah - never will you possess [power to do] for him a thing against Allah . Those are the ones for whom Allah does not intend to purify their hearts. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.
Aey rasool! Aap inn logon kay peechay na kurhiye jo kufur mein sabqat ker rahey hain khuwa woh inn ( munfiqon ) mein say hon jo zabani to eman ka dawa kertay hain lekin haqeeqatan unn kay dil ba eman nahi aur yahundiyon mein say kuch log aisay hain jo ghalat baaten sunnay kay aadi hain aur inn logon kay jasoos hain jo abb tak aap kay pass nahi aaye woh kalmaat kay asli moqay ko chor ker enhen mutaghayyur ker diya kertay hain kehtay hain kay agar tum yehi hukum diye jao to qabool ker lena aur agar yeh hukum na diye jao to alag thalag rehna aur jiss ka kharab kerna Allah ko manzoor ho to aap uss kay liye khudaee hidayat mein kissi cheez kay mukhtaar nahi. Allah Taalaa ka irada inn kay dilon ko pak kerney ka nahi inn kay liye duniya mein bhi bari zillat aur ruswaee hai aur aakhirat mein bhi inn kay liye bari sakht saza hai.
ऐ (प्यारे) नबी! आपको वे लोग रंज में न डालें जो कुफ़्र की राह में बड़ी तेज़ी दिखा रहे हैं चाहे वह उन लोगों में से हों जो अपने मुँह से कहते हों कि हम ईमान लाए; हालाँकि उनके दिल ईमान नहीं लाए या उनमें से हों जो यहूदी हैं, झूठ के बड़े सुनने वाले, सुनने वाले दूसरे लोगों की ख़ातिर जो आपके पास नहीं आए, वे गुफ़्तगू को उसकी जगह से हटा देते हैं, वे लोगों से कहते हैं कि अगर तुमको यह हुक्म मिले तो क़बूल कर लेना और अगर यह हुक्म न मिले तो उससे बचकर रहना, और जिसको अल्लाह फ़ित्ने में डालना चाहे तो आप अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में उसके मामले में कुछ नहीं कर सकते, यही वे लोग हैं कि अल्लाह ने नहीं चाहा कि उनके दिलों को पाक करे, उनके लिए दुनिया में रुसवाई है और आख़िरत में उनके लिए बड़ा अज़ाब है।
And when they come to you, they say, "We believe." But they have entered with disbelief [in their hearts], and they have certainly left with it. And Allah is most knowing of what they were concealing.
Aur jab tumharay pass aatay hain to kehtay hain kay hum eman laye halankay woh kufur liye huye hi aaye thay aur iss kufur kay sath hi gaye bhi aur yeh jo kuch chupa rahey hain ussay Allah khoob janta hai.
और जब वे तुम्हारे पास आते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए; हालाँकि वे काफ़िर आए थे और काफ़िर ही चले गए, और अल्लाह ख़ूब जानता है उस चीज़ को जिसको वे छुपा रहे हैं।
They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.
Be-shak woh log kafir hogaye jin ka qol hai kay maseeh ibn-e-marium hi Allah hain halankay khud maseeh ney unn say kaha tha aey bani israeel! Allah hi ki ibadat kero jo mera aur tumhara sab ka rab hai yaqeen mano kay jo shaks Allah kay sath shareek kerta hai Allah Taalaa ney uss per jannat haram ker di hai uss ka thikana jahannum hi hai aur gunehgaron ki madad kerney wala koi nahi hoga.
यक़ीनन उन लोगों ने कुफ़्र किया जिन्होंने कहा कि अल्लाह ही तो मसीह बिन मरियम है; हालाँकि मसीह ने कहा था कि ऐ बनी-इस्राईल! अल्लाह की इबादत करो जो मेरा भी रब है और तुम्हारा भी रब है, जो शख़्स अल्लाह के साथ शरीक ठहराएगा तो अल्लाह ने हराम की उस पर जन्नत और उसका ठिकाना आग है, और ज़ालिमों का कोई मददगार नहीं।
They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.
Woh log bhi qatan kafir hogaye jinhon ney kaha Allah teen mein ka teesra hai dar asal so Allah Taalaa key koi mabood nahi. Agar yeh log apney iss qol say baaz na rahey to inn mein say jo kufur per rahen gay unhen alam naak azab zarror phonchay ga.
यक़ीनन उन लोगों ने कुफ़्र किया जिन्होंने कहा कि अल्लाह तीन में का तीसरा है; हालाँकि कोई माबूद नहीं सिवाए एक माबूद के, और अगर वे बाज़ न आए उससे जो वे कहते हैं तो उनमें से कुफ़्र पर क़ायम रहने वालों को एक दर्दनाक अज़ाब पकड़ेगा।
You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.
Yaqeenan aap eman walon ka sab say ziyada dushman yahudiyon aur mushrikon ko payen gay aur eman walon say sab say ziyada dosti kay qareeb aap yaqeenan unhen payen gay jo apney aap ko nasaara kehtay hain yeh iss liye kay inn mein ulama aur ibadat kay liye gosha nasheen afraad paye jatay hain aur iss waja say kay woh takabbur nahi kertay.
ईमान वालों के साथ दुश्मनी में आप सबसे बढ़कर यहूद और मुशरिकीन को पाओगे, और ईमान वालों के साथ दोस्ती में आप सबसे ज़्यादा उन लोगों को पाओगे जो अपने आपको नसारा कहते हैं, यह इसलिए कि उनमें आलिम और राहिब हैं और इसलिए कि वे तकब्बुर नहीं करते।
And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah ]."
Aur jabkay mein ney hawareen ko hukum diya kay tum mujh per aur meray rasool per eman laao unhon ney kaha hum eman laye aur aap shahid rahiye kay hum pooray farman bardaar hain.
और जब मैंने हवारियों के दिल में डाल दिया कि मुझ पर और मेरे रसूल पर ईमान लाओ तो उन्होंने कहा कि हम ईमान लाए और आप गवाह रहिए कि हम फ़रमाँबरदार हैं।
And their declaration when Our punishment came to them was only that they said, "Indeed, we were wrongdoers!"
So jiss waqt unn per humara azab aaya uss waqt unn kay mun say ba-juz iss kay aur koi baat na nikli kay waqaee hum zalim thay.
फिर जब हमारा अज़ाब उन पर आया तो वे इसके सिवा कुछ न कह सके कि वाक़ई हम ज़ालिम थे।
And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Those will attain their portion of the decree until when Our messengers come to them to take them in death, they will say, "Where are those you used to invoke besides Allah ?" They will say, "They have departed from us," and will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.
So uss shaks say ziyada zalim kaun hoga jo Allah Taalaa per jhoot banadhay ya uss ki aayaton ko jhoota bataye inn logon kay naseeb ka jo kuch kitab say hai woh inn ko mill jayega yahan tak kay jab inn kay pass humaray bhejay huye farishtay inn ki jaan qabz kerney aayen gay to kahen gay woh kahan gaye jin ki tum Allah ko chor ker ibadat kertay thay woh kahen gay kay hum say sab ghaeeb hogaye aur apney kafir honey ka iqrar keren gay.
फिर उससे ज़्यादा ज़ालिम कौन होगा जो अल्लाह पर बोहतान बाँधे या उसकी निशानियों को झुठलाए, उनके नसीब का जो हिस्सा लिखा हुआ है वह उन्हें मिल कर रहेगा, यहाँ तक कि जब हमारे भेजे हुए फ़रिश्ते उनकी जान लेने के लिए उनके पास पहुँचेंगे तो उनसे पूछेंगे कि अल्लाह के सिवा जिनको तुम पुकारते थे कहाँ हैं, वे कहेंगे कि वे सब हमसे खो गए और वे अपने ऊपर इक़रार करेंगे कि बेशक वे इनकार करने वाले थे।
And the companions of the Fire will call to the companions of Paradise, "Pour upon us some water or from whatever Allah has provided you." They will say, "Indeed, Allah has forbidden them both to the disbelievers."
Aur dozakh walay jannat walon ko pukaren gay kay humaray upper thora pani hi daal do ya aur hi kuch dey do jo Allah ney tum ko dey rakha hai. Jannat walay kahen gay kay Allah Taalaa ney dono cheezon ki kafiron kay liye bandish ker di hai.
और दोज़ख़ के लोग जन्नत वालों को पुकारेंगे कि कुछ पानी हम पर भी डाल दो या उसमें से जो अल्लाह ने तुम्हें खाने को दे रखा है, वे कहेंगे कि अल्लाह ने उन दोनों चीज़ों को काफ़िरों के लिए हराम कर दिया है।
They said, "Have you come to us that we should worship Allah alone and leave what our fathers have worshipped? Then bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the truthful."
Unhon ney kaha kiya aap humaray pass iss wastay aaye hain kay hum sirf Allah hi ki ibadat keren aur jin ko humaray baap dada poojtay thay unn ko chor den pus hum ko jiss azab ki dhamki detay ho uss ko humaray pass mangwa do agar tum sachay ho.
हूद (अलै॰) की क़ौम ने कहाः क्या तुम हमारे पास इसलिए आए हो कि हम तन्हा अल्लाह की इबादत करें और उनको छोड़ दें जिनकी इबादत हमारे बाप-दादा करते आए हैं, पस तुम जिस अज़ाब की धमकी हमको देते हो उसको ले आओ अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
Said the eminent ones who were arrogant among his people to those who were oppressed - to those who believed among them, "Do you [actually] know that Salih is sent from his Lord?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which he was sent, are believers."
Unn ki qom mein jo mutakabbir sardar thay unhon ney gharib logon say jo kay inn mein say eman ley aaye thay poocha kiya tum ko iss baat ka yaqeen hai kay saleh ( alh-e-salam ) apney rab ki taraf say bhejay huye hain? Unhon ney kaha kay be-shak hum to iss per poora yaqeen rakhtay hain jo inn ko dey ker bheja gaya hai.
उनकी क़ौम के बड़ों ने जिन्होंने घमंड किया उन ईमान वालों से कहा जो कमज़ोर समझे जाते थेः क्या तुमको यक़ीन है कि सालेह अपने रब का भेजा हुआ है, उन्होंने जवाब दिया कि हम तो जो वे लेकर आए हैं उस पर ईमान रखते हैं।
But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."
Aur unn ki qom say koi jawab na bann para ba-juz iss kay, kay aapas mein kehney lagay kay inn logon ko apni basti say nikal do. Yeh log baray pak saaf bantay hain.
मगर उनकी क़ौम का जवाब इस बात के सिवा कुछ न था कि इन्हें अपनी बस्ती से निकाल दो, ये लोग बड़े पाकबाज़ बनते हैं।
They said, "Postpone [the matter of] him and his brother and send among the cities gatherers
Unhon ney kaha aap inn ko aur inn kay bhai ko mohlat dijiye aur shehron mein harkaaron ko bhej dijiye.
उन्होंने कहाः मूसा को और उनके भाई को मोहलत दो और शहरों में जमा करने वाले भेज दो।
And the magicians came to Pharaoh. They said, "Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant."
Aur woh jadoogar firaon kay pass hazir huye kehney lagay kay agar hum ghalib aaye to hum ko koi bara sila milay ga?
और जादूगर फ़िरऔन के पास आए, उन्होंने कहाः हमको ईनाम तो ज़रूर मिलेगा अगर हम ग़ालिब रहे।
They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds,
Kehney lagay hum eman laye rabbul aalameen per.
उन्होंने कहाः हम ईमान लाए तमाम जहानों के परवरदिगार पर।
They said, "Indeed, to our Lord we will return.
Unhon ney jawab diya kay hum ( marr ker ) apney maalik hi kay pass jayen gay.
उन्होंने कहाः हमको अपने रब ही की तरफ़ लौटना है।
They said, "We have been harmed before you came to us and after you have come to us." He said, "Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and grant you succession in the land and see how you will do."
Qom kay log kehney lagay kay hum to hamesha museebat hi mein rahey aap ki tashreef aawari say qabal bhi aur aap ki tashreef aawari kay baad bhi. Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney farmaya kay boht jald Allah tumharay dushman ko halak ker dey ga aur bajaye unn kay tum ko iss sir zamin ka khalifa bana dey ga phir tumhara tarz-e-amal dekhay ga.
मूसा की क़ौम ने कहाः हम तुम्हारे आने से पहले भी सताए गए और तुम्हारे आने के बाद भी, मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहाः क़रीब है कि तुम्हारा रब तुम्हारे दुश्मन को हलाक कर दे और उनकी जगह तुमको इस सरज़मीन का मालिक बना दे फिर देखे कि तुम कैसा अमल करते हो।
So when there came to them the truth from Us, they said, "Indeed, this is obvious magic."
Phir jab unn ko humaray pass say sahih daleel phonchi to woh log kehney lagay kay yaqeenan yeh sareeh jadoo hai.
फिर जब उनके पास हमारी तरफ़ से सच्ची बात पहुँची तो उन्होंने कहा कि यह तो खुला हुआ जादू है।
They said, "Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you two may have grandeur in the land? And we are not believers in you."
Woh log kehney lagay kiya tum humaray pass iss liye aaye ho kay hum ko iss tareeqay say hata do jiss per hum ney apney baap dadon ko paya hai aur tum dono ko duniya mein baraee mill jaye aur hum tum dono ko kabhi na manen gay.
उन्होंने कहा कि क्या तुम हमारे पास इसलिए आए हो कि हमको उस रास्ते से फेर दो जिस पर हमने अपने बाप-दादा को पाया है और इस मुल्क में तुम दोनों की बड़ाई क़ायम हो जाए, और हम तुम दोनों की बात कभी मानने वाले नहीं हैं।
They said, "Are you amazed at the decree of Allah ? May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Honorable."
Farishton ney kaha kiya tu Allah ki qudrat say tajjub ker rahi hai? Tum per aey iss ghar kay logo Allah ki rehmat aur uss ki barkat nazil hon be-shak Allah hamd-o-sana ka saza waar aur bari shaan wala hai.
फ़रिश्तों ने कहाः क्या तुम अल्लाह के हुक्म पर तअज्जुब करती हो, इब्राहीम के घर वालो! तुम पर अल्लाह की रहमतें और बरकतें हैं, बेशक अल्लाह निहायत क़ाबिले-तारीफ़, बड़ी शान वाला है।
They said, "[It is but] a mixture of false dreams, and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams."
Unhon ney jawab diya kay yeh to urtay uratay pareshan khuwab hain aur aisay shoreedah pareshan khuwabon ki tabeer jannay walay hum nahi.
वे बोलेः ये ख़्याली ख़्वाब हैं, और हमको ऐसे ख़्वाबों की ताबीर मालूम नहीं।
They said, "If he steals - a brother of his has stolen before." But Joseph kept it within himself and did not reveal it to them. He said, "You are worse in position, and Allah is most knowing of what you describe."
Enhon ney kaha kay agar iss ney chori ki ( to koi tajjub ki baat nahi ) iss ka bhai bhi pehlay chori ker chuka hai yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) ney iss baat ko apney dil mein rakh liya aur inn kay samney bilkul zahir na kiya. Kaha kay tum bad tar jagah mein ho aur jo tum biyan kertay ho ussay Allah hi khoob janta hai.
उन्होंने कहाः अगर यह चोरी करे तो इससे पहले इसका एक भाई भी चोरी कर चुका है, पस यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) ने इस बात को अपने दिल में रखा और उसको उन पर ज़ाहिर नहीं किया, उसने अपने दिल में कहा कि तुम ख़ुद ही बुरे लोग हो और जो कुछ तुम बयान कर रहे हो अल्लाह उसको ख़ूब जानता है।
They said, "Are you indeed Joseph?" He said "I am Joseph, and this is my brother. Allah has certainly favored us. Indeed, he who fears Allah and is patient, then indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good."
Unhon ney kaha kiya ( waqaee ) tu hi yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) hai. Jawab diya kay haan mein yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) hun aur yeh mera bhai hai. Allah ney hum per fazal-o-karam kiya. Baat yeh hai kay jo bhi perhezgari aur sabar keray to Allah Taalaa kissi neko kaar ka ajar zaya nahi kerta.
उन्होंने कहाः क्या सच मुच तुम ही यूसुफ़ हो? उसने कहाः हाँ मैं यूसुफ़ हूँ और यह मेरा भाई है, अल्लाह ने हम पर फ़ज़्ल फ़रमाया, जो शख़्स डरता है और सब्र करता है तो अल्लाह नेक काम करने वालों का अज्र ज़ाया नहीं करता।
Their messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah , Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority."
Unn kay rasoolon ney unhen kaha kay kiya haq taalaa kay baray mein tumhen shak hai jo aasmano aur zamin ka bananey wala hai woh to tumhen iss liye bula raha hai kay tumharay tamam gunah moaf farma dey aur aik muqarrara waqt tak tumhen mohlat ata farmaye unhon ney kaha kay tum to hum jaisay hi insan ho tum chahatay ho kay humen unn khudaon ki ibadat say rok do jin ki ibadat humaray baap dada kertay rahey acha to humaray samney koi khulli daleel paish kero.
उनके पैग़म्बरों ने कहाः क्या अल्लाह के बारे में शक है जो आसमानों और ज़मीन को वजूद में लाने वाला है, वह तुमको बुला रहा है कि तुम्हारे गुनाहों को माफ़ कर दे और तुमको एक मुक़र्रर मुद्दत तक मोहलत दे, उन्होंने कहा कि तुम इसके सिवा कुछ नहीं कि हमारे जैसे ही एक आदमी हो, तुम चाहते हो कि हमको उन चीज़ों की इबादत से रोक दो जिनकी इबादत हमारे बाप-दादा करते थे, तुम हमारे सामने कोई खुली सनद ले आओ।
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,
Unhon ney jawab diya kay hum mujrim qom ki taraf bhejay gaye hain.
उन्होंने कहा कि हम एक मुजरिम क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजे गए हैं।
They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?"
Woh bolay kiya hum ney tujhay duniya bhar ( ki thekaydaari ) say mana nahi ker rakha?
उन्होंने कहाः क्या हमने तुमको दुनिया भर के लोगों से मना नहीं कर दिया।
And when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down?" They say, "Legends of the former peoples,"
Inn say jab daryaft kiya jata hai kay tumharay perwerdigar ney kiya nazil farmaya hai? To jawab detay hain kay aglon ki kahaniyan hain.
और जब उनसे कहा जाए कि तुम्हारे रब ने क्या चीज़ उतारी तो कहते हैं कि अगले लोगों की कहानियाँ हैं।
And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know.
Aur jab hum kissi aayat ki jagah doosri aayat badal detay hain aur jo kuch Allah Taalaa nazil farmata hai ussay woh khoob janta hai to yeh kehtay hain kay tu to bohtan baaz hai. Baat yeh hai kay inn mein say aksar jantay hi nahi.
और जब हम एक आयत की जगह दूसरी आयत बदलते हैं, और अल्लाह ख़ूब जानता है जो कुछ वह उतारता है, तो वे कहते हैं कि तुम घड़ लाए हो, बल्कि उनमें अकसर लोग इल्म नहीं रखते।
And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them except that they said, "Has Allah sent a human messenger?"
Logon kay pass hidayat phonch chukney kay baad eman say rokney wali sirf yehi cheez rahi kay unhon ney kaha kiya Allah ney aik insan ko hi rasool bana ker bheja?
लोगों को जबकि उन के पास मार्गदर्शन आया तो उन को ईमान लाने से केवल यही चीज़ रुकावट बनी कि वे कहने लगे, "क्या अल्लाह ने एक मनुष्य को रसूल बनाकर भेज दिया?"
They said, "Indeed, these are two magicians who want to drive you out of your land with their magic and do away with your most exemplary way.
Kehney lagay yeh dono mehaz jadoogar hain aur inn ka pukhta irada hai kay apney jadoo kay zor say tumhen tumharay mulk say nikal bahir keren aur tumharay behtareen mazhab ko barbaad ker den.
कहने लगे, "ये दोनों जादूगर है, चाहते हैं कि अपने जादू से तुम्हें तुम्हारे भूभाग से निकाल बाहर करें। और तुम्हारी उत्तम और उच्च प्रणाली को तहस-नहस करके रख दे।"
So the magicians fell down in prostration. They said, "We have believed in the Lord of Aaron and Moses."
Abb to tamam jadoogar sajday mein girr paray aur pukar uthay kay hum to haroon ( alh-e-salam ) aur musa ( alh-e-salam ) kay rab per eman laye.
अन्ततः जादूगर सजदे में गिर पड़े, बोले, "हम हारून और मूसा के रब पर ईमान ले आए।"
They said, "Have you come to us with truth, or are you of those who jest?"
Kehnay lagay kiya aap humaray pass sach much haq laye hain ya yun hi mazaq ker rahey hain.
उन्होंने कहा, "क्या तू हमारे पास सत्य लेकर आया है या यूँ ही खेल कर रहा है?"
