الفاظ ( اِنَّ )

اگر ( بالفرض ) کسی قرآن ( آسمانی کتاب ) کے ذریعہ پہاڑ چلا دیے جاتے یا زمین ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دی جاتی یا مردوں سے باتیں کرا دی جاتیں ( پھر بھی وہ ایمان نہ لاتے ) ، بات یہ ہے کہ سب کام اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہے ، تو کیا ایمان والوں کو اس بات پر دل جمعی نہیں کہ اگر اللہ تعالٰی چاہے تو تمام لوگوں کو ہدایت دے دے ۔ کفار کو تو ان کے کفر کے بدلے ہمیشہ ہی کوئی نہ کوئی سخت سزا پہنچتی رہے گی یا ان کے مکانوں کے قریب نازل ہوتی رہے گی تاوقتیکہ وعدہ الٰہی آپہنچے یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی وعدہ ٔخلافی نہیں کرتا ۔

And if there was any qur'an by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Qur'an], but to Allah belongs the affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it will descend near their home - until there comes the promise of Allah . Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise.

۔ ( یاد رکھو جب کہ ) ہم نے موسیٰ کو اپنی نشانیاں دے کر بھیجا کہ تو اپنی قوم کو اندھیروں سے روشنی میں نکال اور انہیں اللہ کے احسانات یاد دلا بیشک اس میں نشانیاں ہیں ہرایک صبر شکر کرنے والے کے لئے ۔

And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], "Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of Allah ." Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

اور جب تمہارے پروردگار نے تمہیں آگاہ کر دیا کہ اگر تم شکرگزاری کرو گے تو بیشک میں تمہیں زیادہ دونگا اور اگر تم ناشکری کرو گے تو یقیناً میرا عذاب بہت سخت ہے ۔

And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' "

جب اور کام کا فیصلہ کر دیا جائے گا شیطان توکہے گا کہ اللہ نے تو تمہیں سچا وعدہ دیا تھا اور میں نے تم سے جو وعدے کئے تھے ان کے خلاف کیا میرا تو تم پر کوئی دباؤ تو تھا نہیں ہاں میں نے تمہیں پکارا اور تم نے میری مان لی ، پس تم مجھے الزام نہ لگاؤ بلکہ خود اپنے آپ کو ملامت کرو نہ میں تمہارا فریاد رس اور نہ تم میری فریاد کو پہنچنے والے میں تو سرے سے مانتا ہی نہیں کہ تم مجھے اس سے پہلے اللہ کا شریک مانتے رہے یقیناً ظالموں کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے ۔

And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah ] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment."

جب اور کام کا فیصلہ کر دیا جائے گا شیطان توکہے گا کہ اللہ نے تو تمہیں سچا وعدہ دیا تھا اور میں نے تم سے جو وعدے کئے تھے ان کے خلاف کیا میرا تو تم پر کوئی دباؤ تو تھا نہیں ہاں میں نے تمہیں پکارا اور تم نے میری مان لی ، پس تم مجھے الزام نہ لگاؤ بلکہ خود اپنے آپ کو ملامت کرو نہ میں تمہارا فریاد رس اور نہ تم میری فریاد کو پہنچنے والے میں تو سرے سے مانتا ہی نہیں کہ تم مجھے اس سے پہلے اللہ کا شریک مانتے رہے یقیناً ظالموں کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے ۔

And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah ] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment."

اسی نے تمہیں تمہاری منہ مانگی کل چیزوں میں سے دے رکھا ہے اگر تم اللہ کے احسان گننا چاہو تو انہیں پورے گن بھی نہیں سکتے یقیناً انسان بڑا ہی بے انصاف اور ناشکرا ہے ۔

And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah , you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful.

اللہ کا شکر ہے جس نے مجھے اس بڑھاپے میں اسماعیل و اسحاق ( علیہا السلام ) عطا فرمائے کچھ شک نہیں کہ میرا پالنہار اللہ دعاؤں کا سننے والا ہے ۔

Praise to Allah , who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication.

آپ ہرگز یہ خیال نہ کریں کہ اللہ اپنے نبیوں سے وعدہ خلافی کرے گا اللہ بڑا ہی غالب اور بدلہ لینے والا ہے ۔

So never think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution.

یہ اس لئے کہ اللہ تعالٰی ہر شخص کو اس کے کئے ہوئے اعمال کا بدلہ دے ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی کو حساب لیتے کچھ دیر نہیں لگنے کی ۔

So that Allah will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.

میرے بندوں پر تجھے کوئی غلبہ نہیں لیکن ہاں جو گمراہ لوگ تیری پیروی کریں ۔

Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.

پرہیزگار جنتی لوگ باغوں اور چشموں میں ہونگے ۔

Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs.

۔ ( لوط علیہ السلام نے ) کہا یہ لوگ میرے مہمان ہیں تم مجھے رسوا نہ کرو ۔

[Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me.

بلاشبہ بصیرت والوں کے لئے اس میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

Indeed in that are signs for those who discern.

اور اس میں ایمان والوں کے لئے بڑی نشانی ہے ۔

Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.

یقیناً تیرا پروردگار ہی پیدا کرنے والا اور جاننے والا ہے ۔

Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator.

اور وہ تمہارے بوجھ ان شہروں تک اٹھا لے جاتے ہیں جہاں تم بغیر آدھی جان کیئے پہنچ ہی نہیں سکتے تھے ۔ یقیناً تمہارا رب بڑا شفیق اور نہایت مہربان ہے ۔

And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.

اسی سے وہ تمہارے لئے کھیتی اور زیتون اور کھجور اور انگور اور ہر قسم کے پھل اگاتا ہے بے شک ان لوگوں کے لئے تو اس میں بڑی نشانی ہے جو غور و فکر کرتے ہیں ۔

He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

اسی نے رات دن اور سورج چاند کو تمہارے لئے تابع کر دیا ہے اور ستارے بھی اسی کے حکم کے ماتحت ہیں ۔ یقیناً اس میں عقلمند لوگوں کے لئے کئی ایک نشانیاں موجود ہیں ۔

And He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

اور بھی بہت سی چیزیں طرح طرح کے رنگ روپ کی اس نے تمہارے لئے زمین پر پھیلا رکھی ہیں ۔ بیشک نصیحت قبول کرنے والوں کے لئے اس میں بڑی بھاری نشانی ہے ۔

And [He has subjected] whatever He multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who remember.

اور اگر تم اللہ کی نعمتوں کا شمار کرنا چاہو تو تم اسے نہیں کر سکتے ۔ بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

And if you should count the favors of Allah , you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

پھر قیامت والے دن بھی اللہ تعالٰی انہیں رسوا کرے گا اور فرمائے گا کہ میرے شریک کہاں ہیں جن کے بارے میں تم لڑتے جھگڑتے تھے ، جنہیں علم دیا گیا تھا وہ پکار اٹھیں گے کہ آج تو کافروں کو رسوائی اور برائی چمٹ گئی ۔

Then on the Day of Resurrection He will disgrace them and say, "Where are My 'partners' for whom you used to oppose [the believers]?" Those who were given knowledge will say, "Indeed disgrace, this Day, and evil are upon the disbelievers" -

وہ جو اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے ہیں ، فرشتے جب ان کی جان قبض کرنے لگتے ہیں اس وقت وہ جھک جاتے ہیں کہ ہم برائی نہیں کرتے تھے کیوں نہیں؟ اللہ تعالٰی خوب جاننے والا ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے تھے ۔

The ones whom the angels take in death [while] wronging themselves, and [who] then offer submission, [saying], "We were not doing any evil." But, yes! Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what you used to do.

اور اللہ آسمان سے پانی برسا کر اس سے زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زندہ کر دیتا ہے ۔ یقیناً اس میں ان لوگوں کے لئے نشانی ہے جو سنیں ۔

And Allah has sent down rain from the sky and given life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who listen.

اور کھجور اور انگور کے درختوں کے پھلوں سے تم شراب بنا لیتے ہو اور عمدہ روزی بھی ۔ جو لوگ عقل رکھتے ہیں ان کے لئے تو اس میں بہت بڑی نشانی ہے ۔

And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason.

اور ہر طرح کے میوے کھا اور اپنے رب کی آسان راہوں میں چلتی پھرتی رہ ، ان کے پیٹ سے رنگ برنگ کا مشروب نکلتا ہے ، جس کے رنگ مختلف ہیں اور جس میں لوگوں کے لئے شفا ہے غور و فکر کرنے والوں کے لئے اس میں بہت بڑی نشانی ہے ۔

Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

اللہ تعالٰی نے ہی تم سب کو پیدا کیا ہے وہی پھر تمہیں فوت کرے گا تم میں ایسے بھی ہیں جو بدترین عمر کی طرف لوٹائے جاتے ہیں کہ بہت کچھ جانتے بوجھنے کے بعد بھی نہ جانیں بیشک اللہ دانا اور توانا ہے ۔

And Allah created you; then He will take you in death. And among you is he who is reversed to the most decrepit [old] age so that he will not know, after [having had] knowledge, a thing. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Competent.

پس اللہ تعالٰی کے لئے مثالیں مت بناؤ اللہ تعالٰی خوب جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے ۔

So do not assert similarities to Allah . Indeed, Allah knows and you do not know.

آسمانوں اور زمین کا غیب صرف اللہ تعالٰی ہی کو معلوم ہے اور قیامت کا امر تو ایسا ہی ہے جیسے آنکھ کا جھپکنا ، بلکہ اس سے بھی زیادہ قریب ۔ بیشک اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

And to Allah belongs the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

کیا ان لوگوں نے پرندوں کو نہیں دیکھا جو تابع فرمان ہو کر فضا میں ہیں ، جنہیں بجز اللہ تعالٰی کے کوئی اور تھامے ہوئے نہیں ، بیشک اس میں ایمان لانے والے لوگوں کیلئے بڑی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah . Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.

اللہ تعالٰی عدل کا ، بھلائی کا اور قرابت داروں کے ساتھ سلوک کرنے کا حکم دیتا ہے اور بے حیائی کے کاموں ، ناشائستہ حرکتوں اور ظلم و زیادتی سے روکتا ہے ، وہ خود تمہیں نصیحتیں کر رہا ہے کہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو ۔

Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.

اور اللہ تعالٰی کے عہد کو پورا کرو جب کہ تم آپس میں قول و قرار کرو اور قسموں کو ان کی پختگی کے بعد مت توڑو ، حالانکہ تم اللہ تعالٰی کو اپنا ضامن ٹھہرا چکے ہو تم جو کچھ کرتے ہو اللہ اس کو بخوبی جان رہا ہے ۔

And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have taken it, [O believers], and do not break oaths after their confirmation while you have made Allah , over you, a witness. Indeed, Allah knows what you do.

جو لوگ اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے انہیں اللہ کی طرف سے بھی رہنمائی نہیں ہوتی اور ان کے لئے المناک عذاب ہیں ۔

Indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of Allah - Allah will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment.

جن لوگوں نے فتنوں میں ڈالے جانے کے بعد ہجرت کی پھر جہاد کیا اور صبر کا ثبوت دیا بیشک تیرا پروردگار ان باتوں کے بعد انہیں بخشنے والا اور مہربانیاں کرنے والا ہے ۔

Then, indeed your Lord, to those who emigrated after they had been compelled [to renounce their religion] and thereafter fought [for the cause of Allah ] and were patient - indeed, your Lord, after that, is Forgiving and Merciful

جن لوگوں نے فتنوں میں ڈالے جانے کے بعد ہجرت کی پھر جہاد کیا اور صبر کا ثبوت دیا بیشک تیرا پروردگار ان باتوں کے بعد انہیں بخشنے والا اور مہربانیاں کرنے والا ہے ۔

Then, indeed your Lord, to those who emigrated after they had been compelled [to renounce their religion] and thereafter fought [for the cause of Allah ] and were patient - indeed, your Lord, after that, is Forgiving and Merciful

کسی چیز کو اپنی زبان سے جھوٹ موٹ نہ کہہ دیا کرو کہ یہ حلال ہے اور یہ حرام ہے کہ اللہ پر جھوٹ بہتان باندھ لو ، سمجھ لو کہ اللہ تعالٰی پر بہتان بازی کرنے والے کامیابی سے محروم ہی رہتے ہیں ۔

And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah . Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed.

جو کوئی جہالت سے برے عمل کرلے پھر توبہ کرلے اور اصلاح بھی کرلے تو پھر آپ کا رب بلاشک و شبہ بڑی بخشش کرنے والا اور نہایت ہی مہربان ہے ۔

Then, indeed your Lord, to those who have done wrong out of ignorance and then repent after that and correct themselves - indeed, your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.

جو کوئی جہالت سے برے عمل کرلے پھر توبہ کرلے اور اصلاح بھی کرلے تو پھر آپ کا رب بلاشک و شبہ بڑی بخشش کرنے والا اور نہایت ہی مہربان ہے ۔

Then, indeed your Lord, to those who have done wrong out of ignorance and then repent after that and correct themselves - indeed, your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.

بیشک ابراہیم پیشوا اور اللہ تعالٰی کے فرمانبردار اور ایک طرفہ مخلص تھے ۔ وہ مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھے ۔

Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah , inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah .

اپنے رب کی راہ کی طرف لوگوں کو حکمت اور بہترین نصیحت کے ساتھ بلائیے اور ان سے بہترین طریقے سے گفتگو کیجئے یقیناً آپ کا رب اپنی راہ سے بہکنے والوں کو بھی بخوبی جانتا ہے اور وہ راہ یافتہ لوگوں سے پورا واقف ہے ۔

Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.

یقین مانو کہ اللہ تعالٰی پرہیزگاروں اور نیک کاروں کے ساتھ ہے ۔

Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good.

یقیناً یہ قرآن وہ راستہ دکھاتا ہے جو بہت ہی سیدھا ہے اور ایمان والوں کو جو نیک اعمال کرتے ہیں اس بات کی خوشخبری دیتا ہے کہ ان کے لئے بہت بڑا اجر ہے ۔

Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.

بے جا خرچ کرنے والے شیطانوں کے بھائی ہیں اور شیطان اپنے پروردگار کا بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہے ۔

Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and ever has Satan been to his Lord ungrateful.

یقیناً تیرا رب جس کے لئے چاہے روزی کشادہ کر دیتا ہے اور جس کے لئے چاہے تنگ یقیناً وہ اپنے بندوں سے باخبر اور خوب دیکھنے والا ہے ۔

Indeed, your Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. Indeed He is ever, concerning His servants, Acquainted and Seeing.

اور مفلسی کے خوف سے اپنی اولاد کو نہ مار ڈالو ان کو اور تم کو ہم ہی روزی دیتے ہیں ۔ یقیناً ان کا قتل کرنا کبیرہ گناہ ہے ۔

And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Indeed, their killing is ever a great sin.

اور یتیم کے مال کے قریب بھی نہ جاؤ بجز اس طریقہ کے جو بہت ہی بہتر ہو ، یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنی بلوغت کو پہنچ جائے اور وعدے پورے کرو کیونکہ قول و قرار کی باز پرس ہونے والی ہے ۔

And do not approach the property of an orphan, except in the way that is best, until he reaches maturity. And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned.

جس بات کی تجھے خبر ہی نہ ہو اس کے پیچھے مت پڑ کیونکہ کان اور آنکھ اور دل ان میں سے ہر ایک سے پوچھ گچھ کی جانے والی ہے ۔

And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.

اور میرے بندوں سے کہہ دیجئے کہ وہ بہت ہی اچھی بات منہ سے نکالا کریں کیونکہ شیطان آپس میں فساد ڈلواتا ہے ۔ بیشک شیطان انسان کا کھلا دشمن ہے ۔

And tell My servants to say that which is best. Indeed, Satan induces [dissension] among them. Indeed Satan is ever, to mankind, a clear enemy.

اور میرے بندوں سے کہہ دیجئے کہ وہ بہت ہی اچھی بات منہ سے نکالا کریں کیونکہ شیطان آپس میں فساد ڈلواتا ہے ۔ بیشک شیطان انسان کا کھلا دشمن ہے ۔

And tell My servants to say that which is best. Indeed, Satan induces [dissension] among them. Indeed Satan is ever, to mankind, a clear enemy.

جنہیں یہ لوگ پکارتے ہیں خود وہ اپنے رب کے تقرب کی جستجو میں رہتے ہیں کہ ان میں سے کون زیادہ نزدیک ہو جائے وہ خود اس کی رحمت کی امید رکھتے اور اس کے عذاب سے خوف زدہ رہتے ہیں ، ( بات بھی یہی ہے ) کہ تیرے رب کا عذاب ڈرنے کی چیز ہی ہے ۔

Those whom they invoke seek means of access to their Lord, [striving as to] which of them would be nearest, and they hope for His mercy and fear His punishment. Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is ever feared.

اور یاد کرو جب کہ ہم نے آپ سے فرما دیا کے آپ کے رب نے لوگوں کو گھیر لیا ہے ۔ جو رویا ( عینی روئیت ) ہم نے آپ کو دکھا دی تھی وہ لوگوں کے لئے صاف آزمائش ہی تھی اور اسی طرح وہ درخت بھی جس سے قرآن میں اظہار نفرت کیا گیا ہے ہم انہیں ڈرا رہے ہیں لیکن یہ انہیں اور بڑی سرکشی میں بڑھا رہا ہے ۔

And [remember, O Muhammad], when We told you, "Indeed, your Lord has encompassed the people." And We did not make the sight which We showed you except as a trial for the people, as was the accursed tree [mentioned] in the Qur'an. And We threaten them, but it increases them not except in great transgression.
