Indeed, Allah is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allah intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,
Yaqeenan Allah Taalaa kissi misal kay biyan kerney say nahi sharmata khuwa machar ki ho ya iss say bhi halki cheez ki. eman walay to issay apney rab ki janib say sahih samajhtay hain aur kuffaar kehtay hain kay iss misal say Allah Taalaa ney kiya murad li hai? iss kay zariye baishtar ko gumrah kerta hai aur aksar logon ko raah-e-raast per lata hai aur gumrah to sirf fasiqon ko hi kerta hai.
बेशक अल्लाह इससे नहीं शरमाता कि बयान करे मिसाल मच्छर की या उससे भी किसी छोटी चीज़ की, फिर जो ईमान वाले हैं वे जानते हैं कि वह हक़ है उनके रब की जानिब से, और जो मुनकिर हैं वे कहते हैं कि इस मिसाल को बयान करके अल्लाह ने क्या चाहा है? अल्लाह इसके ज़रिए बहुतों को गुमराह करता है और बहुतों को उससे राह दिखाता है, और वह गुमराह करता है उन लोगों को जो नाफ़रमानी करने वाले हैं।

बेशक अल्लाह इससे नहीं शरमाता कि बयान करे मिसाल मच्छर की या उससे भी किसी छोटी चीज़ की, फिर जो ईमान वाले हैं वे जानते हैं कि वह हक़ है उनके रब की जानिब से, और जो मुनकिर हैं वे कहते हैं कि इस मिसाल को बयान करके अल्लाह ने क्या चाहा है? अल्लाह इसके ज़रिए बहुतों को गुमराह करता है और बहुतों को उससे राह दिखाता है, और वह गुमराह करता है उन लोगों को जो नाफ़रमानी करने वाले हैं।
He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding.
Woh jissay chahaye hikmat aur danaee deta hai aur jo shaks hikmat aur samajh diya jaye woh boht sari bhalaee diya gaya aur naseehat sirf aqal mand hi hasil kertay hain.
वह जिसको चाहता है हिकमत दे देता है और जिसको हिकमत मिली उसको यक़ीनन बहुत बड़ी दौलत मिल गई, और नसीहत वही हासिल करते हैं जो अक़्ल वाले हैं।
He said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He Said, "Your sign is that you will not [be able to] speak to the people for three days except by gesture. And remember your Lord much and exalt [Him with praise] in the evening and the morning."
Kehney lagay perwerdigar! Meray liye iss ki koi nishani muqarrar ker dey farmaya nishani yeh hai kay teen din tak tu logon say baat na ker sakay ga sirf isharay say samjhaye ga tu apney rab kay zikar kasrat say ker aur subha-o-shaam ussi ki tasbeeh biyan kerta reh!.
ज़करिया (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ मेरे रब! मेरे लिए कोई निशानी मुक़र्रर फ़रमा दें, (अल्लाह ने) फ़रमाया कि तुम्हारे लिए निशानी यह है कि तुम तीन दिन तक लोगों से बात नहीं कर सकोगे मगर इशारे से, और अपने रब को कसरत से याद करते रहो और सुबह व शाम उसी की तस्बीह करो।
You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.
Yaqeenan tumharay maalon aur tumhari jaanon say tumhari aazmaish ki jaye gi aur yeh bhi yaqeen hai kay tumhen unn logon ki jo tum say pehlay kitab diye gaye aur mushrikon ki boht si dukh denay wali baaten bhi sunni paren gi aur agar tum sabar kerlo aur perhezgari ikhtiyar kero to yaqeenan yeh boht bari himmat ka kaam hai.
यक़ीनन तुम अपनी जान और माल में आज़माए जाओगे, और तुम बहुत-सी तकलीफ़ देने वाली बातें सुनोगे उनसे जिनको तुम से पहले किताब मिली और उनसे भी जिन्होंने शिर्क किया, और अगर तुम सब्र करो और तक़वा इख़्तियार करो तो यह बड़े हौसले का काम है।
O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah , through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.
Aey logo apney perwerdigar say daro jiss ney tumhen aik jaan say peda kiya aur ussi say uss ki biwi ko peda ker kay unn dono say boht say mard aur aurten phela den uss Allah say daro jiss kay naam per aik doosray say maangtay ho aur rishtay naatay toryney say bhi bacho be-shak Allah Taalaa tum per nigehbaan hai.
ऐ लोगो! अपने रब से डरो जिसने तुमको एक जान से पैदा किया और उसी से उसका जोड़ा पैदा किया और उन दोनों से बहुत-से मर्द और औरतें फैला दीं, और अल्लाह से डरो जिसके वास्ते से तुम एक-दूसरे से सवाल करते हो, और ख़बरदार रहो क़राबतदारों के बारे में, बेशक अल्लाह तुम्हारी निगरानी कर रहा है।
O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.
Eman walo! Tumhen halal nahi kay zabardasti aurton ko virsay mein ley betho unhen iss liye rok na rakho kay jo tum ney unhen dey rakha hai uss mein say kuch ley lo haan yeh aur baat hai kay woh koi khuli buraee aur bey hayaee keren unn kay sath achay tareeqay say bod-o-baash rakho go tum unhen na pasand kero lekin boht mumkin hai kay tum kissi cheez ko bura jano aur Allah Taalaa iss mein boht hi bhalaee ker dey.
ऐ ईमान वालो! तुम्हारे लिए जायज़ नहीं कि तुम औरतों को ज़बरदस्ती अपनी मीरास मैं लेलो, और न उनको इस ग़र्ज़ से रोके रखो कि तुम ने जो कुछ उनको दिया है उसका कुछ हिस्सा उनसे लेलो मगर इस सूरत में कि वह खुली हुई बेहयाई करें, और उनके साथ अच्छी तरह गुज़र बसर करो, अगर वे तुमको नापसंद हों तो हो सकता है कि एक चीज़ तुमको पसंद न हो मगर अल्लाह ने उसमें तुम्हारे लिए बहुत बड़ी भलाई रख दी हो।
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah , they would have found within it much contradiction.
Kiya yeh log quran mein ghor nahi kertay? Agar yeh Allah Taalaa kay siwa kissi aur ki taraf say hota to yaqeenan iss mein boht kuch ikhtilaf patay.
क्या ये लोग ग़ौर नहीं करते क़ुरआन में कि अगर यह अल्लाह के सिवा किसी और की तरफ़ से होता तो वे उसके अन्दर बड़ा इख़्तिलाफ़ पाते।
And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many [alternative] locations and abundance. And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him - his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah . And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
Jo koi Allah ki raah mein watan ko choray ga woh zamin mein boht si qayam ki jagahen bhi paye ga aur kushaadgi bhi aur jo koi apney ghar say Allah Taalaa aur uss kay rasool ( PBUH ) ki taraf nikal khara hua phir ussay maut ney aa pakra to bhi yaqeenan uss ka ajar Allah Taalaa kay zimmay sabit hogaya aur Allah Taalaa bara bakshney wala meharban hai.
और जो कोई अल्लाह की राह में वतन छोड़ेगा वह ज़मीन में बड़े ठिकाने और बड़ी वुसअत पाएगा, और जो शख़्स अपने घर से अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की तरफ़ हिजरत करके निकले फिर उसको मौत आजाए तो उसका अज्र अल्लाह के यहाँ मुक़र्रर हो चुका है, और अल्लाह बख़्शने वाला, रहम करने वाला है।
For wrongdoing on the part of the Jews, We made unlawful for them [certain] good foods which had been lawful to them, and for their averting from the way of Allah many [people],
Jo nafees cheez inn kay liye halal ki gaee thi woh hum ney inn per haram ker di inn kay zulm kay baees aur Allah Taalaa ki raah say aksar logon ko rokney kay baees.
पस यहूद के ज़ुल्म की वजह से हमने वे पाक चीज़े उन पर हराम कर दीं जो उनके लिए हलाल थीं, और इस वजह से कि वे अल्लाह की राह से रोकते थे।
O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book.
Aey ehal-e-kitab! Tumhara pass humara rasool ( PBUH ) aa chuka hai jo tumahray samney kitab-ullah ki bakasrat aisi baaten zahir ker raha hai jinhen tum chupa rahey thay aur boht si baaton say dar guzar kerta hai tumharay pass Allah Taalaa ki taraf say noor aur wazeh kitab aa chuki hai.
ऐ अहले-किताब! तुम्हारे पास हमारा रसूल आया है, वह किताबे-इलाही की बहुत-सी उन बातों को तुम्हारे सामने खोल रहा है जिनको तुम छुपाते थे और वह दरगुज़र करता है बहुत-सी चीज़ों से, बेशक तुम्हारे पास अल्लाह की तरफ़ से एक रौशनी और एक ज़ाहिर करने वाली किताब आ चुकी है।
Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.
Issi waja say hum ney bani israeel per yeh likh diya kay jo shaks kissi ko baghair iss kay, kay woh kissi ka qatil ho ya zamin mein fasaad machaney wala ho qatal ker daalay to goya uss ney tamam logon ko qatal ker diya aur jo shaks kissi aik ki jaan bacha ley uss ney goya tamam logon ko zinda ker diya aur unn kay pass humara boht say rasool zahir daleelen ley ker aaye lekin phir uss kay baad bhi unn mein kay aksar log zamin mein zulm-o-ziyadti aur zabadasti kerney walay hi rahey.
इसी सबब से हमने बनी-इस्राईल पर यह लिख दिया कि जो शख़्स किसी को क़त्ल करे बग़ैर इसके कि उसने किसी को क़त्ल किया हो या ज़मीन में फ़साद बरपा किया हो तो गोया उसने सारे इंसानों को क़त्ल कर डाला, और जिसने एक शख़्स को बचाया तो गोया उसने सारे इंसानों को बचा लिया, और हमारे पैग़म्बर उनके पास खुले हुए अहकाम लेकर आए उसके बावजूद उनमें से बहुत-से लोग ज़मीन में ज़्यादतियाँ करते हैं।
And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient.
Aap inn kay moamlaat mein khuda ki nazil kerda wahee kay mutabiq hi hukum kijiye inn ki khuwaishon ki tabeydaari na kijiye aur inn say hoshiyaar rahiye kay kahin yeh aap ko Allah kay utaray huye kissi hukum say idhar udhar na keren agar yeh log mun pher len to yaqeen keren kay Allah ka irada yehi hai kay enhen inn kay baaz gunahon ki saza dey hi daalay aur aksar log na farmaan hi hotay hain.
और उनके दरमियान उसके मुताबिक़ फ़ैसला कीजिए जो अल्लाह ने उतारा है और उनकी ख़्वाहिशों की पैरवी न कीजिए और उन लोगों से बचिए कि कहीं वे आपको फिस्ला न दें आपके ऊपर अल्लाह के उतारे हुए किसी हुक्म से, पस अगर वे फिर जाएं तो जान लीजिए कि अल्लाह उनको उनके बअज़ गुनाहों की सज़ा देना चाहता है, और यक़ीनन लोगों में से ज़्यादा इंसान नाफ़रमान हैं।
And you see many of them hastening into sin and aggression and the devouring of [what is] unlawful. How wretched is what they have been doing.
Aap dekhen gay kay inn mein say aksar gunah kay kaamon ki taraf aur zulm-o-ziyadti ki taraf aur maal haram khaney ki taraf lapak rahey hain jo kuch yeh ker rahey hain woh nihayat buray kaam hain.
और आप उनमें से अकसर को देखोगे कि वे गुनाह और ज़ुल्म और हराम खाने पर दौड़ते हैं, कैसे बुरे काम हैं जो वे कर रहे हैं।
And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.
Aur yahudiyon ney kaha Allah Taalaa kay haath bandhay huye hain aur inn kay iss qol ki waja say inn per laanat ki gaee bulkay Allah Taalaa kay dono haath khulay huye hain. Jiss tarah chahata hai kharach kerta hai aur jo kuch teri taraf teray rab ki janib say utara jata hai woh inn mein say aksar ko to sirkashi aur kufur mein barha deta hai aur hum ney inn mein aapas mein hi qayamat tak kay liye adawat aur bughz daal diya hai aur jab kabhi laraee ki aag ko bharkana chahatay hain to Allah Taalaa ussay bujha deta hai yeh mulk bhar mein shar-o-fasaad machatay phirtay hain aur Allah Taalaa fasaadiyon say mohabbat nahi kerta.
और यहूद कहते हैं कि अल्लाह के हाथ बंधे हुए हैं, उन्हीं के हाथ बंध जाएं और लानत हो उन पर ऐसी बात कहने पर; बल्कि अल्लाह के दोनों हाथ खुले हुए हैं, वह जिस तरह चाहता है ख़र्च करता है, और आपके ऊपर आपके परवरदिगार की तरफ़ से जो कुछ उतरा है वह उनमें से अकसर लोगों की सरकशी और इनकार को बढ़ा रहा है, और हमने उनके दरमियान दुश्मनी और कीना क़यामत तक के लिए डाल दिया है, जब कभी वे लड़ाई की आग भड़काते हैं तो अल्लाह उसको बुझा देता है, और वे ज़मीन में फ़साद फैलाने में मसरूफ़ हैं; हालाँकि अल्लाह फ़साद फैलाने वालों को पसंद नहीं करता।
Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.
Aap keh dijiye kay ehal-e-kitab! Tum dar asal kissi cheez per nahi jab tak kay toraat aur injeel ko aur jo kuch tumhari taraf tumharay rab ki taraf say utara gaya hai qaeem na kerojo kuch aap ki janib aap kay rab ki taraf say utra hai woh inn mein say bohton ko shararat aur inkaar mein aur bhi barhaye ga hi to aap inn kafiron per ghumgeen na hon.
आप कह दीजिए कि ऐ अहले-किताब! तुम किसी चीज़ पर नहीं जब तक कि तुम क़ायम न करो तौरात और इंजील को और उसको जो तुम्हारे ऊपर उतरा है तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से, और जो कुछ तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से उतारा गया है वह यक़ीनन उनमें से अकसर की सरकशी और इनकार को बढ़ाएगा, पस आप इनकार करने वालों पर अफ़सोस न करें।
Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way."
Keh dijiye aey ehal-e-kitab! Apney deen mein na haq ghuloov aur ziyadti na kero aur unn logon ki nafsani khuwaishon perwi na kero jo pehlay say behak chukay hain aur bohton ko behka bhi chukay hain aur seedhi raah say hatt gaye hain.
आप कह दीजिए कि ऐ अहले-किताब! अपने दीन में हक़ को छोड़ कर हद से आगे न निकलो और उन लोगों के ख़्यालात की पैरवी न करो जो उससे पहले गुमराह हुए और जिन्होंने बहुत-से लोगों को गुमराह किया और वे सीधी राह से भटक गए।
You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally.
Inn mein say boht say logon ko aap dekhen gay kay woh kafiron say dostiyan kertay hain jo kuch enhon ney apney liye aagay bhej rakha hai woh boht bura hai kay Allah Taalaa inn say naraz hua aur woh hamesha jahannum mein rahen gay.
आप उनमें से बहुत लोगों को देखोगे कि कुफ़्र करने वालों से दोस्ती रखते हैं, कैसी बुरी चीज़ है जो उन्होंने अपने लिए आगे भेजी है कि अल्लाह का ग़ज़ब हुआ उन पर और वे हमेशा अज़ाब में पड़े रहेंगे।
And if they had believed in Allah and the Prophet and in what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them as allies; but many of them are defiantly disobedient.
Agar enhen Allah Taalaa per aur nabi per aur jo nazil kiya gaya hai uss per eman hota to yeh kuffaar say dostiyan na kertay lekin inn mein kay aksar log faasiq hain.
अगर वे ईमान रखने वाले होते अल्लाह पर और नबी पर और उस पर जो उसकी तरफ़ उतरा है तो वे काफ़िरों को दोस्त न बनाते, मगर उनमें से अकसर नाफ़रमान हैं।
And they did not appraise Allah with true appraisal when they said, " Allah did not reveal to a human being anything." Say, "Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you were taught that which you knew not - neither you nor your fathers." Say, " Allah [revealed it]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves.
Aur inn logon ney Allah ki jaisi qadar kerna wajib thi wesi qadar na ki jab kay yun keh diya kay Allah ney kiss bashar per koi cheez nazil nahi ki aap yeh kahiye kay woh kitab kiss ney nazil ki hai jiss ko musa laye thay jiss ki keyfiyat yeh hai kay woh noor hai aur logon kay liye woh hidayat hai jiss ko tum ney inn mutafarriq oraaq mein rakh chora hai jin ko zahir kertay ho aur boht si baaton ko chupatay ho aur tum ko boht si aisi baaten bataee gaee hain jin ko na tum jantay thay aur na tumharay baray. Aap keh dijiye kay Allah ney nazil farmaya hai phir inn ko inn kay kharafaat mein kheltay rehney dijiye.
और उन्होंने अल्लाह के बारे में बहुत ग़लत अंदाज़ा लगाया जब उन्होंने कहा कि अल्लाह ने किसी इंसान पर कोई चीज़ नहीं उतारी, आप कह दीजिए कि वह किताब किसने उतारी थी जिसको लेकर मूसा आए थे जो रौशन थी और रहनुमाई (का ज़रिया) थी लोगों के वास्ते, जिसको तुमने वर्क़-वर्क़ कर रखा है उनमें से कुछ को ज़ाहिर करते हो और बहुत कुछ छुपा जाते हो, और तुमको वे बातें सिखाई गईं जिनको न तुम जानते थे और न तुम्हारे बाप-दादा, कह दीजिए कि अल्लाह ने उतारी, फिर उनको उनके हाल पर छोड़ दीजिए कि वे अपनी बेहूदा गुफ़्तगू में मशग़ूल रह कर दिल्लगी करते हैं।
And why should you not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned while He has explained in detail to you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled. And indeed do many lead [others] astray through their [own] inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord - He is most knowing of the transgressors.
Aakhir kiya waja hai kay tum aisay janwar mein say na khao jiss per Allah ka naam liya gaya ho halankay Allah ney unn sab janwaron ki tafseel bata di hai jin ko tum per haram kiya hai magar woh bhi jab tum ko sakht zaroorat parr jaye to halal hai aur yeh yaqeeni baat hai kay boht say aadmi apney khayalaat per bila kissi sanad kay gumrah kertay hain. Iss mein koi shuba nahi kay Allah Taalaa hadd say nikal janey walon ko khoob janta hai.
और क्या वजह है कि तुम उस जानवर में से न खाओ जिस पर अल्लाह का नाम लिया गया; हालाँकि अल्लाह ने तफ़सील से बयान कर दी है वे चीजें जिनको उसने तुम पर हराम किया है, सिवाए इसके कि उसके लिए तुम मजबूर हो जाओ, और यक़ीनन बहुत-से लोग अपनी ख़्वाहिशात की वजह से (दूसरों को) गुमराह करते हैं बग़ैर किसी इल्म के, बेशक आपका रब ख़ूब जानता है हद से निकल जाने वालों को।
And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.
Aur hum ney aisay boht say jinn aur insan dozakh kay liye peda kiye hain jin kay dil aisay hain jin say nahi samajhtay aur jin ki aankhen aisi hain jin say nahi dekhtay aur jin kay kaam aisay hain jin say nahi suntay. Yeh log chopayon ki tarah hain bulkay yeh unn say bhi ziyada gumrah hain. Yeho log ghafil hain.
और हमने जिन्नात और इंसान में से बहुतों को जहन्नम के लिए पैदा किया है, उनके दिल हैं जिनसे वे समझते नहीं, उनकी आँखें हैं जिनसे वे देखते नहीं और उनके कान हैं जिनसे वे सुनते नहीं, वे ऐसे हैं जैसे चौपाये बल्कि उनसे भी ज़्यादा बे-राह, यही लोग ग़ाफ़िल हैं।
[Remember, O Muhammad], when Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many, you [believers] would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter [of whether to fight], but Allah saved [you from that]. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
Jabkay Allah Taalaa ney tujhay teray khuwab mein unn ki taadaad kum dikhaee agar inn ki ziyadti dikhata to tum buzdil hojatay aur iss kaam kay baray mein aapas mein ikhtilaaf kertay lekin Allah Taalaa ney bacha liya woh dilon kay bhedon say khoob aagah hai.
जब अल्लाह आपके ख़्वाब में उनको थोड़े दिखाता रहा, अगर वह तुम्हें उनको ज़्यादा दिखा देता तो तुम लोग हिम्मत हार जाते और आपस में झगड़ने लगते उस मामले में लेकिन अल्लाह ने तुमको बचा लिया, यक़ीनन वह दिलों तक का हाल जानता है।
O you who have believed, when you encounter a company [from the enemy forces], stand firm and remember Allah much that you may be successful.
Aey eman walo! Jab tum kissi mukhalif foj say bhirr jao to sabit qadam raho aur ba kasrat Allah ko yaad kero takay tumhen kaamyabi hasil ho.
ऐ ईमान वालो! जब किसी गिरोह से तुम्हारा मुक़ाबला हो तो तुम साबित-क़दम रहो और अल्लाह को बहुत याद करो; ताकि तुम कामयाब हो।
O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
Aey eman walo! Aksar ulama aur abid logon ka maal na haq kha jatay hain aur Allah ki raah say rok detay hain aur jo log soney chandi ka khazana rakhtay hain aur Allah ki raah mein kharach nahi kertay unhen dard naak azab ki khabar phoncha dijiye.
ऐ ईमान वालो! बेशक अहले-किताब के अकसर उलमा और मशाइख़ लोगों के माल बातिल तरीक़ों से खाते हैं और लोगों को अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोकते हैं, और जो लोग सोना और चाँदी जमा करके रखते हैं और उनको अल्लाह की राह में ख़र्च नहीं करते उनको एक दर्दनाक अज़ाब की ख़ुश-ख़बरी दे दीजिए।
So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn.
Pus enhen chahaiye kay boht kum hansen aur boht ziyada royen badlay mein uss kay jo yeh kertay hain.
पस वे कम हँसें और ज़्यादा रोएं उसके बदले में जो वे करते थे।
So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless
So aaj hum sirf teri laash ko nijat den gay takay tu unn kay liye nishan-e-ibrat ho jo teray baad hain aur haqeeqat yeh hai kay boht say aadmi humari nishaniyon say ghafil hain.
पस आज हम तेरी लाश को बचाएंगे ताकि तू अपने बाद वालों के लिए निशानी बने, और बेशक बहुत-से लोग हमारी निशानियों से ग़ाफ़िल रहते हैं।
They said, "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we consider you among us as weak. And if not for your family, we would have stoned you [to death]; and you are not to us one respected."
Unhon ney kaha aey shoaib! Teri aksar baaten to humari samajh mein hi nahi aatin aur hum to tujhay apney andar boht kamzor patay hain agar teray qabeelay ka khayal na hota to hum to tujhay sangsaar ker detay aur hum tujhay koi heysiyat wali hasti nahi gintay.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ शुऐब! जो तुम कहते हो उसका बहुत-सा हिस्सा हमारी समझ में नहीं आता और हम तो देखते हैं कि तुम हम में कमज़ोर हो, और अगर तुम्हारी बिरादरी न होती तो हम तुमको पत्थर मार-मार कर हलाक कर देते और तुम हम पर कुछ भारी नहीं हो।
My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful.
Aey meray paalney walay mabood! Enhon ney boht say logon ko raah say bhatka diya hai. Pus meri tabeydaari kerney wala mera hai aur jo meri na farmani keray to tu boht hi moaf aur karam kerney wala hai.
ऐ मेरे रब! इन बुतों ने बहुत लोगों को गुमराह कर दिया, पस जिसने मेरी पैरवी की वह मेरा है, और जिसने मेरा कहा न माना तो आप बख़्शने वाले, मेहरबान हैं।
That we may exalt You much
Takay hum dono ba-kasrat teri tasbeeh biyan keren.
कि हम अधिक से अधिक तेरी तसबीह करें
And remember You much.
Aur ba-kasrat teri yaad keren.
और तुझे ख़ूब याद करें
[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord is Allah ." And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
Yeh woh hain jinhen na-haq apnay gharon say nikala gaya sirf unn kay iss qol per ker humara perwerdigar faqat Allah hai. Agar Allah Taalaa logon ko aapas mein aik doosray say na hatata rehta to ibadat khaney aur girjay aur masjiden aur yahoodiyon kay maabad aur woh masjiden bhi dha di jaten jahan Allah ka naam ba-kasrat liya jata hai. Jo Allah ki madad keray ga Allah bhi zaroor uss ki madad keray ga. Be-shak Allah Taalaa bari qooaton wala baray ghalbay wala hai.
ये वे लोग हैं जो अपने घरों से नाहक़ निकाले गए, केवल इसलिए कि वे कहते हैं कि "हमारा रब अल्लाह है।" यदि अल्लाह लोगों को एक-दूसरे के द्वारा हटाता न रहता तो मठ और गिरजा और यहूदी प्रार्थना भवन और मस्जिदें, जिनमें अल्लाह का अधिक नाम लिया जाता है, सब ढा दी जातीं। अल्लाह अवश्य उस की सहायता करेगा, जो उस की सहायता करेगा - निश्चय ही अल्लाह बड़ा बलवान, प्रभुत्वशाली है
[They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction."
( inn say kaha jayega ) aaj aik hi maut ko na pukaro bulkay boht si ammwaat ko pukaro.
(कहा जाएगा,) "आज एक विनाश को मत पुकारो, बल्कि बहुत-से विनाशों को पुकारो!"
And [We destroyed] 'Aad and Thamud and the companions of the well and many generations between them.
Aur aadiyon aur samoodiyon aur koonwen walon ko aur unn kay darmiyan ki boht si ummaton ko ( halak ker diya ) .
और आद और समूद और अर-रस्स वालों और उस बीच की बहुत-सी नस्लों को भी विनष्ट किया।
That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men.
Takay iss kay zariye say murda shehar ko zinda ker den aur issay hum apni makhlooqaat mein say boht say chopayon aur insano ko pilatay hain.
ताकि हम उस के द्वारा निर्जीव भू-भाग को जीवन प्रदान करें और उसे अपने पैदा किए हुए बहुत-से चौपायों और मनुष्यों को पिलाएँ
Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned.
Siwaye unn kay jo eman laye aur nek amal kiye aur ba-kasrat Allah Taalaa ka ziker kiya aur apni mazloomi kay baad intiqam liya jinhon ney zulm kiya hai woh bhi abhi jaan len gay kay kiss kerwat ulat’tay hain.
वे नहीं जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए और अल्लाह को अधिक याद किया। और इस के बाद कि उन पर ज़ुल्म किया गया तो उन्होंने उस का प्रतिकार किया और जिन लोगों ने ज़ुल्म किया, उन्हें जल्द ही मालूम हो जाएगा कि वे किस जगह पलटते हैं
Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.
Kiya inn logon ney apnay dil mein yeh ghor nahi kiya? Kay Allah Taalaa ney aasmano ko aur zamin aur inn kay darmiyan jo kuch hai sab ko behtareen qareeney say muqarrar waqt tak kay liye hi ( peda ) kiya hai haan aksar log yaqeenan apnay rab ki mulaqat kay munkir hain.
क्या उन्होंने अपने आप में सोच-विचार नहीं किया? अल्लाह ने आकाशों और धरती को और जो कुछ उन के बीच है सत्य के साथ और एक नियत अवधि ही के लिए पैदा किया है। किन्तु बहुत-से लोग अपने प्रभु के मिलन का इनकार करते हैं
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.
Yaqeenan tumharay liye rasool Allah mein umdah namoona ( mojood ) hai her uss shaks kay liye jo Allah Taalaa ki aur qayamat kay din ki tawakka rakhta hai aur ba-kasrat Allah Taalaa ki yaad kerta hai.
निस्संदेह तुम्हारे लिए अल्लाह के रसूल में एक उत्तम आदर्श है अर्थात उस व्यक्ति के लिए जो अल्लाह और अन्तिम दिन की आशा रखता हो और अल्लाह को अधिक याद करे
Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so - for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.
Bey shak musalman mard aur musalman aurten momin mard aur momin aurten farman bardaari kerney walay mard aur farman bardar aurten raast baaz mard aur raast baaz aurten aajzi kerney walay mard aur aajzi kerney wali aurten kheyraat kerney walay mard aur kheyraat kerney wali aurten rozay rakhney walay mard aur roza rakhney wali aurten apni sharamgah ki hifazat kerney walay mard aur hifazat kerney waliyan ba-kasrat Allah ka ziker kerney walay aur zikar kerney waliyan inn ( sab kay ) liye Allah Taalaa ney ( wasee ) maghfirat aur bara sawab tayyar ker rakha hai.
मुस्लिम पुरुष और मुस्लिम स्त्रियाँ, ईमान वाले पुरुष और ईमान वाली स्त्रियाँ, निष्ठा्पूर्वक आज्ञापालन करने वाले पुरुष और निष्ठापूर्वक आज्ञापालन करने वाली स्त्रियाँ, सत्यवादी पुरुष और सत्यवादी स्त्रियाँ, धैर्यवान पुरुष और धैर्य रखने वाली स्त्रियाँ, विनम्रता दिखाने वाले पुरुष और विनम्रता दिखाने वाली स्त्रियाँ, सदक़ा (दान) देने वाले पुरुष और सदक़ा देने वाली स्त्रियाँ, रोज़ा रखने वाले पुरुष और रोज़ा रखने वाली स्त्रियाँ, अपने गुप्तांगों की रक्षा करने वाले पुरुष और रक्षा करने वाली स्त्रियाँ और अल्लाह को अधिक याद करने वाले पुरुष और याद करने वाली स्त्रियाँ - इन के लिए अल्लाह ने क्षमा और बड़ा प्रतिदान तैयार कर रखा है
O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance
Musalmano! Allah Taalaa ka zikar boht ziyada kero.
ऐ ईमान लाने वालो! अल्लाह को अधिक याद करो
And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
Shetan ney to tum mein say boht sari makhlooq ko behka diya. Kiya tum aqal nahi raktay.
उस ने तो तुम में से बहुत-से गिरोहों को पथभ्रष्ट कर दिया। तो क्या तुम बुद्धि नहीं रखते थे?
[David] said, "He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allah ].
Aap ney farmaya! Iss ka apni dunbiyon kay sath teri aik dunbi mila lenay ka sawal be-shak teray upper aik zulm hai aur aksar hissay daar aur shareek ( aisay hi hotay hain kay ) aik doosray per zulm kertay hain siwaye unn kay jo eman laye aur jinhon ney nek amal kiyey aur aisay log boht hi kum hain aur ( hazrat ) dawwod ( alh-e-salam ) samajh gaye kay hum ney unhen aazmaya hai phir to apnay rab say istaghfaar kerney lagay aur aajzi kertay huyey gir paray aur ( poori tarah ) rujoo kiya.
उस ने कहा, "इस ने अपनी दुंबियों के साथ तेरी दुंबी को मिला लेने की माँग करके निश्चय ही तुझ पर ज़ुल्म किया है। और निस्संदेह बहुत-से साथ मिलकर रहने वाले एक-दूसरे पर ज़्यादती करते हैं, सिवाय उन लोगों के जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए। किन्तु ऐसे लोग थोड़े ही हैं।" अब दाऊद समझ गया कि यह तो हम ने उसे परीक्षा में डाला है। अतः उस ने अपने रब से क्षमा-याचना की और झुककर (सीधे सजदे में) गिर पड़ा और रुजू हुआ
And you were not covering yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do.
Aur tum ( apni bad-aemaaliyan ) iss waja say pocheedah rakhtay hi na thay kay tum per tumhari kaan aur tumhari aankhen aur tumhari khaalen gawahee den gi han tum yeh samjhtay rahey kay tum jo kuch bhi ker rahey ho iss mein say boht say aemaal say Allah bey-khabar hai.
तुम इस भय से छिपते न थे कि तुम्हारे कान तुम्हारे विरुद्ध गवाही देंगे, और न इसलिए कि तुम्हारी आँखें गवाही देंगी और न इस कारण से कि तुम्हारी खाले गवाही देंगी, बल्कि तुम ने तो यह समझ रखा था कि अल्लाह तुम्हारे बहुत-से कामों को जानता ही नहीं
O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful.
Aey eman walo! Boht badgumaaniyon say bacho yaqeen mano kay baaz badgumaniyan gunah hain, aur bhed na tatola kero aur na tum mein say koi kissi ki gheebat keray. Kiya tum mein say koi bhi apnay murdah bhai ka gosht khana pasand kerta ha? Tum ko iss say ghinn aayegi, aur Allah say dartay raho, be-shak Allah toba qabool kernay wala meharbaan hai.
ऐ ईमान लाने वालो! बहुत से गुमानों से बचो, क्योंकि कतिपय गुमान गुनाह होते हैं। और न टोह में पड़ो और न तुम में से कोई किसी की पीठ पीछे निन्दा करे - क्या तुम में से कोई इसको पसन्द करेगा कि वह मरे हुए भाई का मांस खाए? वह तो तुम्हें अप्रिय होगी ही। - और अल्लाह का डर रखो। निश्चय ही अल्लाह तौबा क़बूल करने वाला, अत्यन्त दयावान है
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah , and remember Allah often that you may succeed.
Phir jab namaz ho chukay to zamin mein phel jao aur Allah ka fazal talash kero takay tum falah paa lo.
फिर जब नमाज़ पूरी हो जाए तो धरती में फैल जाओ और अल्लाह का उदार अनुग्रह (रोजी) तलाश करो, और अल्लाह को बहुत ज़्यादा याद करते रहो, ताकि तुम सफल हो। -
And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error."
Aur unhon ney bohat say logon ko gumrah kiya ( elaahi ) tu in zaalimon ki gumrahi aur barha
"और उन्होंने बहुत-से लोगों को पथभ्रष्ट किया है (तो तू उन्हें मार्ग न दिया) अब, तू भी ज़ालिमों की पथभ्रष्टता ही में अभिवृद्धि कर।"
