He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]."
Jawab diya kay humara rab woh hai jiss ney her aik ko uss ki khas surat shakal inayat farmaee phir raah sujha di.
कहा, "हमारा रब वह है जिस ने हर चीज़ को उस की आकृति दी, फिर तदनुकूव निर्देशन किया।"
[Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?"
Uss ney kaha acha yeh to batao aglay zamaney walon ka haal kiya hona hai.
उस ने कहा, "अच्छा तो उन नस्लों का क्या हाल है, जो पहले थी?"
[Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets."
Jawab diya kay inn ka ilm meray rab kay haan kitab mein mojood hai na to mera rab ghalati kerta hai na bhoolta hai.
कहा, "उस का ज्ञान मेरे रब के पास एक किताब में सुरक्षित है। मेरा रब न चूकता है और न भूलता है।"
He said, "Have you come to us to drive us out of our land with your magic, O Moses?
Kehney laga aey musa! Kiya tu iss liye aaya hai kay humen apnay jadoo kay zor say humaray mulk say bahir nikal dey.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मूसा! क्या तू हमारे पास इसलिए आया है कि अपने जादू से हमको हमारे अपने भूभाग से निकाल दे?
[Moses] said, "Your appointment is on the day of the festival when the people assemble at mid-morning."
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney jawab diya kay zeenat aur jashan kay din ka wada hai aur yeh kay log din charhay hi jama ho jayen.
कहा, "उत्सव का दिन तुम्हारे वादे का है और यह कि लोग दिन चढ़े इकट्ठे हो जाएँ।"
Moses said to the magicians summoned by Pharaoh, "Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment; and he has failed who invents [such falsehood]."
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney unn say kaha tumhari shamat aa chuki Allah Taalaa per jhoot aur iftra na bandho kay woh tumhen azabon say maliya mait ker dey yaad rakho woh kabhi kaamyaab na hoga jiss ney jhooti baat ghari.
मूसा ने उन लोगों से कहा, "तबाही है तुम्हारी; झूठ घड़कर अल्लाह पर न थोपो कि वह तुम्हें एक यातना से विनष्ट कर दे और झूठ जिस किसी ने भी घड़कर थोपा, वह असफल रहा।"
He said, "Rather, you throw." And suddenly their ropes and staffs seemed to him from their magic that they were moving [like snakes].
Jawab diya kay nahi tum hi pehlay dalo. Abb to musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko yeh khayal guzrney laga kay unn ki rasiyan aur lakriyan unn kay jadoo kay zor say dor bhag rahi hain.
कहा, "नहीं, बल्कि तुम्हीं फेंको।" फिर अचानक क्या देखते हैं कि उन की रस्सियाँ और लाठियाँ उन के जादू से उन के ख़याल में दौड़ती हुई प्रतीत हुई
[Pharaoh] said, "You believed him before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic. So I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you on the trunks of palm trees, and you will surely know which of us is more severe in [giving] punishment and more enduring."
Firaon kehnay laga kiya meri ijazat say pehlay hi tum iss per eman ley aaye? Yaqeenan yehi tumhara woh bara buzrug hai jiss ney tum sab ko jadoo sikhaya hai ( sunn lo ) mein tumharay hath paon ultay seedhay katwa ker tum sab ko khajoor kay tano mein sooli per latakwa doon ga aur tumhen poori tarah maloom hojaye ga kay hum mein say kiss ki maar ziyada sakht aur dairpaa hai.
उस ने कहा, "तुम ने मान लिया उस को, इस से पहले कि मैं तुम्हें इस की अनुज्ञा देता? निश्चय ही यह तुम सबका प्रमुख है, जिस ने जादू सिखाया है। अच्छा, अब मैं तुम्हारा हाथ और पाँव विपरीत दिशाओं से कटवा दूँगा और खजूर के तनों पर तुम्हें सूली दे दूँगा। तब तुम्हें अवश्य ही मालूम हो जाएगा कि हम में से किसकी यातना अधिक कठोर और स्थायी है!"
He said, "They are close upon my tracks, and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased."
Kaha kay woh log bhi meray peechay hi peechay hain aur mein ney aey rab! Teri taraf jaldi iss liye ki kay tu khush hojaye.
उस ने कहा, "वे मेरे पीछे ही और मैं जल्दी बढ़कर आया तेरी ओर, ऐ रब! ताकि तू राज़ी हो जाए।"
[ Allah ] said, "But indeed, We have tried your people after you [departed], and the Samiri has led them astray."
Farmaya! Hum ney teri qom ko teray peechay aazmaeesh mein daal diya aur unhen samri ney behka diya.
कहा, "अच्छा, तो हम ने तेरे पीछे तेरी क़ौम के लोगों को आज़माइश में डाल दिया है। और सामरी ने उन्हें पथभ्रष्ट कर डाला।"
So Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved. He said, "O my people, did your Lord not make you a good promise? Then, was the time [of its fulfillment] too long for you, or did you wish that wrath from your Lord descend upon you, so you broke your promise [of obedience] to me?"
Pus musa ( alh-e-salam ) sakht ghazab naak hoker ranj kay sath wapis lotay aur kehnay lagay kay aey meri qom walo! Kiya tum say tumharay perwerdigar ney nek wada nahi kiya tha? Kiya iss ki muddat tumhen lambi maloom hui? Bulkay tumhara irada hi yeh hai kay tum per tumharay perwerdigar ka ghazab nazil ho? Kay tum ney meray waday ka khilaf kiya.
तब मूसा अत्यन्त क्रोध और खेद में डूबा हुआ अपनी क़ौम के लोगों की ओर पलटा। कहा, "ऐ मेरी क़ौम के लोगों! क्या तुम से तुम्हारे रब ने अच्छा वादा नहीं किया था? क्या तुम पर लम्बी मुद्दत गुज़र गई या तुम ने यही चाहा कि तुम पर तुम्हारे रब का प्रकोप ही टूटे कि तुम ने मेरे वादे के विरुद्ध आचरण किया?"
And Aaron had already told them before [the return of Moses], "O my people, you are only being tested by it, and indeed, your Lord is the Most Merciful, so follow me and obey my order."
Aur haroon ( alh-e-salam ) ney iss say pehlay hi inn say keh diya tha aey meri qom walo! Iss bachray say to sirf tumhari aazmaeesh ki gaee hai tumahra haqeeqi perwerdigar to Allah rehman hi hai pus tum sab meri tabey daari kero. Aur meri baat manray chalay jao.
और हारून इस से पहले उन से कह भी चुका था कि "मेरी क़ौम के लोगों! तुम इस के कारण बस फ़ितने में पड़ गए हो। तुम्हारा रब तो रहमान है। अतः तुम मेरा अनुसरण करो और मेरी बात मानो।"
[Moses] said, "O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them going astray,
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) kehnay lagay aey musa haroon! Enhen gumrah hotay hua dekhtay huye tujhay kiss cheez ney roka tha.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ हारून! जब तुम ने देखा कि ये पथभ्रष्ट हो गए हैं, तो किस चीज़ ने तुम्हें रोका
[Aaron] said, "O son of my mother, do not seize [me] by my beard or by my head. Indeed, I feared that you would say, 'You caused division among the Children of Israel, and you did not observe [or await] my word.' "
Haroon ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha aey meray maa jaye bhai! Meri darhi na pakar aur sir kay baal na kheench mujhay to sirf yeh khayal daaman geer hua kay kahin aap yeh ( na ) farmayen kay tu ney bani israeel mein tafarqa daal diya aur meri baar ka intezar na kiya.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरी माँ के बेटे! मेरी दाढ़ी न पकड़ और न मेरा सिर! मैं डरा कि तू कहेंगा कि तूने इसराईल की सन्तान में फूट डाल दी और मेरी बात पर ध्यान न दिया।"
[Moses] said, "And what is your case, O Samiri?"
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney poocha samri tera kiya moamla hai.
(मूसा ने) कहा, "ऐ सामरी! तेरा क्या मामला है?"
He said, "I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful [of dust] from the track of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul entice me."
Uss ney jawab diya kay mujhay woh cheez dikhaee di jo enhen dikhaee na di to mein ney farstada-e-elahee kay naqsh-e-qadam say aik muthi bhar li ussay iss mein daal diya issi tarah meray dil ney yeh baat meray liye bhali bana di.
उस ने कहा, "मुझे उस की सूझ प्राप्त हुई, जिस की सूझ उन्हें प्राप्त न हुई। फिर मैंने रसूल के पद-चिन्ह से एक मुट्ठी उठा ली। फिर उसे डाल दिया और मेरे जी ने मुझे कुछ ऐसा ही सुझाया।"
[Moses] said, "Then go. And indeed, it is [decreed] for you in [this] life to say, 'No contact.' And indeed, you have an appointment [in the Hereafter] you will not fail to keep. And look at your 'god' to which you remained devoted. We will surely burn it and blow it into the sea with a blast.
Kaha acha jaa duniya ki zindagi mein teri saza yehi hai kay tu kehta rehey kay mujhay na choona aur aik aur bhi wada teray sath hai jo tujh say hergiz na talay ga aur abb tu apney iss mabood ko bhi dekh lena jiss kay aetikaaf kiye huye tha kay hum issay jala ker darya mein raiza raiza ura den gay.
कहा, "अच्छा, तू जा! अब इस जीवन में तेरे लिए यही है कि कहता रहे, कोई छुए नहीं! और तेरे लिए एक निश्चित वादा है, जो तुझ पर से कदापि न टलेगा। और देख अपने इष्ट-पूज्य को जिस पर तू रीझा-जमा बैठा था! हम उसे जला डालेंगे, फिर उसे चूर्ण-विचूर्ण करके दरिया में बिखेर देंगे।"
Then Satan whispered to him; he said, "O Adam, shall I direct you to the tree of eternity and possession that will not deteriorate?"
Lekin shetan ney ussay waswasa dala kehney laga kay kiya mein tujhay daeemi zindagi ka darakht aur badshat batlaon kay jo kabhi purani na ho
फिर शैतान ने उसे उकसाया। कहने लगा, "ऐ आदम! क्या मैं तुझे शाश्वत जीवन के वृक्ष का पता दूँ और ऐसे राज्य का जो कभी जीर्ण न हो?"
[ Allah ] said, "Descend from Paradise - all, [your descendants] being enemies to one another. And if there should come to you guidance from Me - then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter].
Farmaya tum dono yahan say utar jao tum aapas mein aik doosray kay dushman ho abb tumharay pass jab kabhi meri taraf say hidayat phonchay to jo meri hidayat ki pairwee keray na to woh behkay ga na takleef mein paray ga.
कहा, "तुम दोनों के दोनों यहाँ से उतरो! तुम्हारे कुछ लोग कुछ के शत्रु होंगे। फिर यदि मेरी ओर से तुम्हें मार्गदर्शन पहुँचे, तो जिस किसी ने मेरे मार्गदर्शन का अनुपालन किया, वह न तो पथभ्रष्ट होगा और न तकलीफ़ में पड़ेगा
He will say, "My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing?"
Woh kahey ga kay elahee! Mujhay tu ney andha bana ker kiyon uthaya? Halankay mein to dekhta bhalta tha.
वह कहेगा, "ऐ मेरे रब! तूने मुझे अंधा क्यों उठाया, जबकि मैं आँखोंवाला था?"
[ Allah ] will say, "Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten."
( jawab milay ga kay ) issi tarah hona chahye tha tu meri aaee hui aayaton ko bhool gaya to aaj tu bhi bhula diya jata hai.
वह कहेगा, "इसी प्रकार (तू संसार में अंधा रहा था) । तेरे पास मेरी आयतें आई थी, तो तूने उन्हें भूला दिया था। उसी प्रकार आज तुझे भुलाया जा रहा है।"
When he said to his father and his people, "What are these statues to which you are devoted?"
Jabkay uss ney apney baap say aur pani qom say kaha kay yeh moortiyan jin kay tum mujawar bann bethay ho kiya hain?
जब उस ने अपने बाप और अपनी क़ौम से कहा, "ये मूर्तियाँ क्या है, जिनसे तुम लगे बैठे हो?"
He said, "You were certainly, you and your fathers, in manifest error."
Aap ney farmaya! Phir to tum aur tumharay baap dada sabhi yaqeenan khulli gumrahi mein mubtila rahey.
उस ने कहा, "तुम भी और तुम्हारे बाप-दादा भी खुली गुमराही में हो।"
He said, "[No], rather, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth who created them, and I, to that, am of those who testify.
Aap ney farmaya nahi dar-haqeeqat tum sab ka perwerdigar to woh hai jo aasmano aur zamin ka malik hai jiss ney unehn peda kiya hai mein to issi baat ka gawah aur qaeel hun.
उस ने कहा, "नहीं, बल्कि बात यह है कि तुम्हारा रब आकाशों और धरती का रब है, जिस ने उन को पैदा किया है और मैं इस पर तुम्हारे सामने गवाही देता हूँ
He said, "Rather, this - the largest of them - did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak."
Aap ney jawab diya bulkay iss kaam ko inn kay baray ney kiya hai tum apney khudaon say hi pooch lo agar yeh boltay chaltay hon.
उस ने कहा, "नहीं, बल्कि उन के इस बड़े ने की होगी, उन्हीं से पूछ लो, यदि वे बोलते हों।"
He said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you?
Allah kay khalil ney ussi waqt farmaya afsos! Kiya tum Allah kay ilawa unn ki ibadat kertay ho jo na tumhen kuch bhi nafa phoncha saken na nuksan.
उस ने कहा, "फिर क्या तुम अल्लाह से इतर उसे पूजते हो, जो न तुम्हें कुछ लाभ पहुँचा सके और न तुम्हें कोई हानि पहुँचा सके?
[Noah] said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
Nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ney dua ki aey meray rab! Inn kay jhutlaney per tu meri madad farma.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! इन्होंने मुझे जो झुठलाया है, इस पर तू मेरी सहायता कर।"
He said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
Nabi ney dua ki kay perwerdigar! Inn kay jhutlaney per tu meri madad ker.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! उन्होंने जो मुझे झुठलाया, उस पर तू मेरी सहायता कर।"
[ Allah ] said, "After a little, they will surely become regretful."
Jawab mila kay yeh to boht hi jald apnay kiye per pachtaney lagen gay.
कहा, "शीघ्र ही वे पछताकर रहेंगे।"
Rather, they say like what the former peoples said.
Bulkay inn logon ney bhi wesi hi baat kahi jo aglay kehtay chalay aaye.
नहीं, बल्कि वे लोग वहीं कुछ करते हैं जो उन के पहले के लोग कह चुके हैं
[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back
Yahan tak kay jab inn mein say kissi ko maut aaney lagti hai to kehta hai aey meray perwerdigar! Mujhay wapis lota dey.
यहाँ तक कि जब उन में से किसी की मृत्यु आ गई तो वह कहेगा, "ऐ मेरे रब! मुझे लौटा दे। - ताकि जिस (संसार) को मैं छोड़ आया हूँ
He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.
Allah Taalaa farmaye ga phitkaray huye yahin paray raho aur mujh say kalaam na kero.
वह कहेगा, "फिटकारे हुए तिरस्कृत, इसी में पड़े रहो और मुझ से बात न करो
He said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha meray perwerdigar! Mujhay to khof hai kay kahin woh mujhay jhutla ( na ) den.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! मुझे डर है कि वे मुझे झुठला देंगे,
[ Allah ] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening.
Janab-e-baari ney farmaya! Hergiz aisa na hoga tum dono humari nishaniyan ley ker jao hum khud sunnay walay tumharay sath hain.
कहा, "कदापि नहीं, तुम दोनों हमारी निशानियाँ लेकर जाओ। हम तुम्हारे साथ है, सुनने को मौजूद है
[Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life?
Fairaon ney kaha kiya hum ney tujhay teray bachpan kay zamaney mein apnay haan nahi pala tha? Aur tu ney apni umar kay boht say saal hum mein nahi guzaray?
(फ़िरऔन ने) कहा, "क्या हम ने तुझे जबकि तू बच्चा था, अपने यहाँ पाला नहीं था? और तू अपनी अवस्था के कई वर्षों तक हमारे साथ रहा,
[Moses] said, "I did it, then, while I was of those astray.
( hazrat ) musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney jawab diya kay mein ney uss kaam ko uss waqt kiya tha jabkay mein raah bhoolay huye logon mein say tha.
कहा, ऐसा तो मुझ से उस समय हुआ जबकि मैं चूक गया था
Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?"
Firaon ney kaha rab-ul-aalameen kiya cheez hai?
फ़िरऔन ने कहा, "और यह सारे संसार का रब क्या होता है?"
[Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced."
( hazrat ) musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney farmaya woh aasamano aur zamin aur inn kay darmiyan ki tamam cheezon ka rab hai agar tum yaqeen rakhney walay ho.
उस ने कहा, "आकाशों और धरती का रब और जो कुछ इन दोनों के मध्य है उस का भी, यदि तुम्हें यकीन हो।"
[Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?"
Firaon ney apney ird-gird walon say kaha kay kiya tum sunn nahi rahey?
उस ने अपने आस-पासवालों से कहा, "क्या तुम सुनते नहीं हो?"
[Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers."
( hazrat ) musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney farmaya woh tumhara aur tumharay aglay baap dadon ka perwerdigar hai.
कहा, "तुम्हारा रब और तुम्हारे अगले बाप-दादा का रब।"
[Pharaoh] said, "Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad."
Firaon ney kaha ( logo! ) tumhara yeh rasool jo tumhari taraf bheja gaya hai yeh to yaqeenan deewana hai.
बोला, "निश्चय ही तुम्हारा यह रसूल, जो तुम्हारी ओर भेजा गया है, बिलकुल ही पागल है।"
[Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason."
( hazrat ) musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney farmaya! Wohi mashriq-o-maghrib ka aur inn kay darmiyan ki tamam cheezon ka rab hai agar tum aqal rakhtay ho.
उस ने कहा, "पूर्व और पश्चिम का रब और जो कुछ उन के बीच है उस का भी, यदि तुम कुछ बुद्धि रखते हो।"
[Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned."
Firaon kehney laga sunn ley! Agar tu ney meray siwa kissi aur ko mabood banaya tu mein tujhay qaidiyon mein daal doon ga.
बोला, "यदि तूने मेरे सिवा किसी और को पूज्य एवं प्रभु बनाया, तो मैं तुझे बन्दी बनाकर रहूँगा।"
[Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest?"
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha agar cheh mein teray pass koi khulli cheez ley aaon?
उस ने कहा, "क्या यदि मैं तेरे पास एक स्पष्ट चीज़ ले आऊँ तब भी?"
[Pharaoh] said, "Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful."
Firaon ney kaha agar tum sachon mein say hai to issay paish ker.
बोलाः “अच्छा वह ले आ; यदि तू सच्चा है” ।
[Pharaoh] said to the eminent ones around him, "Indeed, this is a learned magician.
Firaon apnay aas pass kay sardaron say kehney laga bhaee yeh to koi bara dana jadoogar hai.
उस ने अपने आस-पास के सरदारों से कहा, "निश्चय ही यह एक बड़ा ही प्रवीण जादूगर है
He said, "Yes, and indeed, you will then be of those near [to me]."
Firaon ney kaha haan! ( bari khushi say ) bulkay aisi soorat mein tum meray khas darbari bann jao gay.
उस ने कहा, "हाँ, और निश्चित ही तुम तो उस समय निकटतम लोगों में से हो जाओगे।"
Moses said to them, "Throw whatever you will throw."
( hazrat ) musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney jadoogaron say farmaya jo kuch tumhen dalna hai daal do.
मूसा ने उन से कहा, "डालो, जो कुछ तुम्हें डालना है।"
[Pharaoh] said, "You believed Moses before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic, but you are going to know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all."
Firaon ney kaha kay meri ijazat say pehlay tum iss per eman ley aaye? Yaqeenan yehi tumhara woh bara ( sardar ) hai jiss ney tum sab ko jadoo sikhaya hai so tumhen abhi abhi maloom ho jaye ga qasam hai mein abhi tumharay haath paon ultay tor per kaat doon ga aur tum sab ko sooli per latka doon ga.
उस ने कहा, "तुम ने उस को मान लिया, इस से पहले कि मैं तुम्हें अनुमति देता। निश्चय ही वह तुम सबका प्रमुख है, जिस ने तुम को जादू सिखाया है। अच्छा, शीघ्र ही तुम्हें मालूम हुआ जाता है! मैं तुम्हारे हाथ और पाँव विपरीत दिशाओं से कटवा दूँगा और तुम सभी को सूली पर चढ़ा दूँगा।"
And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!"
Pus jab dono ney aik doosray ko dekh liya to musa kay saathiyon ney kaha hum to yaqeenan pakar liye gaye.
फिर जब दोनों गिरोहों ने एक-दूसरे को देख लिया तो मूसा के साथियों ने कहा, "हम तो पकड़े गए!"
