سورة آل عمران

بلکہ اللہ ہی تمہارا مولا ہے اور وہ ہی بہترین مددگار ہے ۔

But Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers.

ہم عنقریب کافروں کے دلوں میں رُعب ڈال دیں گے ، اس وجہ سے کہ یہ اللہ کے ساتھ ان چیزوں کو شریک کرتے ہیں جس کی کوئی دلیل اللہ نے نہیں اُتاری ، ان کا ٹِھکانا جہنّم ہے ، اور ان ظالموں کی بُری جگہ ہے ۔

We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down [any] authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers.

اللہ تعالٰی نے تم سے اپنا وعدہ سچّا کر دکھایا جبکہ تم اس کے حکم سے انہیں کاٹ رہے تھے یہاں تک کہ جب تم نے پست ہمّتی اختیار کی اور کام میں جھگڑنے لگے اور نافرمانی کی ، اس کے بعد کہ اس نے تمہاری چاہت کی چیز تمہیں دکھا دی ، تم میں سے بعض دنیا چاہتے تھے اور بعض کا ارادہ آخرت کا تھا تو پھر اس نے تمہیں ان سے پھیر دیا تاکہ تم کو آزمائے اور یقیناً اس نے تمہاری لغزِش سے درگُزر فرمادیا اور ایمان والوں پر اللہ تعالٰی بڑے فضل والا ہے ۔

And Allah had certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were killing the enemy by His permission until [the time] when you lost courage and fell to disputing about the order [given by the Prophet] and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you love. Among you are some who desire this world, and among you are some who desire the Hereafter. Then he turned you back from them [defeated] that He might test you. And He has already forgiven you, and Allah is the possessor of bounty for the believers.

جب کہ تم چڑھے چلے جا رہے تھے اور کسی کی طرف توجہ تک نہیں کرتے تھے اور اللہ کے رسول تمہیں تمہارے پیچھے سے آوازیں دے رہے تھے ، بس تمہیں غم پر غم پہنچا تاکہ تم فوت شُدہ چیز پر غمگیں نہ ہو اور نہ پہنچنے والی ( تکلیف ) پُر اُداس ہو اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے تمام اعمال سے خبردار ہے ۔

[Remember] when you [fled and] climbed [the mountain] without looking aside at anyone while the Messenger was calling you from behind. So Allah repaid you with distress upon distress so you would not grieve for that which had escaped you [of victory and spoils of war] or [for] that which had befallen you [of injury and death]. And Allah is [fully] Acquainted with what you do.

پھر اس نے اس غم کے بعد تم پر امن نازل فرمایا اور تم میں سے ایک جماعت کو امن کی نیند آنے لگی ۔ ہاں کچھ وہ لوگ بھی تھے کہ انہیں اپنی جانوں کی پڑی ہوئی تھی ، وہ اللہ تعالٰی کے ساتھ ناحق جہالت بھری بدگُمانیاں کر رہے تھے اور کہتے تھے کیا ہمیں بھی کسی چیز کا اختیار ہے ؟آپ کہہ دیجئیے کہ کام کُل کا کُل اللہ کے اختیار میں ہے ، یہ لوگ اپنے دلوں کے بھید آپ کو نہیں بتاتے کہتے ہیں کہ اگر ہمیں کچھ بھی اختیار ہوتا تو یہاں قتل نہ کئے جاتے ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ گو تم اپنے گھروں میں ہوتے پھر بھی جن کی قسمت میں قتل ہونا تھا وہ تو مقتل کی طرف چل کھڑے ہوتے اللہ تعالٰی کو تمہارے سینوں کے اندر کی چیز کا آزمانا اور جو کچھ تمہارے دلوں میں ہے اس کو پاک کرنا تھا ، اور اللہ تعالٰی سینوں کے بھید سے آگاہ ہے ۔

Then after distress, He sent down upon you security [in the form of] drowsiness, overcoming a faction of you, while another faction worried about themselves, thinking of Allah other than the truth - the thought of ignorance, saying, "Is there anything for us [to have done] in this matter?" Say, "Indeed, the matter belongs completely to Allah ." They conceal within themselves what they will not reveal to you. They say, "If there was anything we could have done in the matter, some of us would not have been killed right here." Say, "Even if you had been inside your houses, those decreed to be killed would have come out to their death beds." [It was] so that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purify what is in your hearts. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.

تم میں سے جن لوگوں نے اس دن پیٹھ دکھائی جس دن دونوں جماعتوں کی مڈ بھیڑ ہوئی تھی یہ لوگ اپنے بعض کرتوتُوں کے باعث شیطان کے پھسلانے میں آگئے لیکن یقین جانو کہ اللہ تعالٰی نے انہیں معاف کر دیا اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا اور تحمل والا ہے ۔

Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.

اے ایمان والو! تم ان لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہو جانا جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور اپنے بھائیوں کے حق میں جب کہ وہ سفر میں ہوں یا جہاد میں ہوں کہا کہ اگر یہ ہمارے پاس ہوتے تو نہ مرتے اور نہ مارے جاتے ، اس کی وجہ یہ تھی کہ اس خیال کو اللہ تعالٰی ان کی دِلی حسرت کا سبب بنا دے ، اللہ تعالٰی جِلاتا اور مارتا ہے اور اللہ تمہارے عمل کو دیکھ رہا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, do not be like those who disbelieved and said about their brothers when they traveled through the land or went out to fight, "If they had been with us, they would not have died or have been killed," so Allah makes that [misconception] a regret within their hearts. And it is Allah who gives life and causes death, and Allah is Seeing of what you do.

قسم ہے اگر اللہ تعالٰی کی راہ میں شہید کئے جاؤ یا اپنی موت مرو تو بیشک اللہ تعالٰی کی بخشش ورحمت اس سے بہتر ہے جسے یہ جمع کر رہے ہیں

And if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die - then forgiveness from Allah and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate [in this world].

بِالیقین خواہ تم مر جاؤ یا مار ڈالے جاؤ جمع تو اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف ہی کئے جاؤ گے ۔

And whether you die or are killed, unto Allah you will be gathered.

اللہ تعالٰی کی رحمت کے باعث آپ ان پر نرم دل ہیں اور اگر آپ بدزبان اور سخت دل ہوتے تو یہ سب آپ کے پاس سے چھٹ جاتے ، سُو آپ ان سے درگُزر کریں اور ان کے لئے استغفار کریں اور کام کا مشورہ ان سے کیا کریں پھر جب آپ کا پختہ ارادہ ہو جائے تو اللہ تعالٰی پر بھروسہ کریں بیشک اللہ تعالٰی توکل کرنے والوں سے محبت کرتا ہے ۔

So by mercy from Allah , [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah . Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].

اگر اللہ تعالٰی تمہاری مدد کرے تو تم پر کوئی غالب نہیں آسکتا اگر وہ تمہیں چھوڑ دے تو اس کے بعد کون ہے جو تمہاری مدد کرے ایمان والوں کو اللہ تعالٰی ہی پر بھروسہ رکھنا چاہئے ۔

If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers rely.

ناممکن ہے کہ نبی سے خیانت ہو جائے ہر خیانت کرنے والا خیانت کو لئے ہوئے قیامت کے دن حاضر ہوگا ,پھر ہر شخص اپنے اعمال کا پورا پورا بدلہ دیا جائے گا ,اور وہ ظلم نہ کئے جائیں گے ۔

It is not [attributable] to any prophet that he would act unfaithfully [in regard to war booty]. And whoever betrays, [taking unlawfully], will come with what he took on the Day of Resurrection. Then will every soul be [fully] compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.

کیا پس وہ شخص جو اللہ تعالٰی کی خوشنودی کے درپے ہے ,اس شخص جیسا ہے جو اللہ تعالٰی کی ناراضگی لے کر لوٹتا ہے؟ اور جس کی جگہ جہنّم ہے جو بدترین جگہ ہے ۔

So is one who pursues the pleasure of Allah like one who brings upon himself the anger of Allah and whose refuge is Hell? And wretched is the destination.

اللہ تعالٰی کے پاس ان کے الگ الگ درجے ہیں اور ان کے تمام اعمال کو اللہ بخوبی دیکھ رہا ہے ۔

They are [varying] degrees in the sight of Allah , and Allah is Seeing of whatever they do.

بیشک مسلمانوں پر اللہ تعالٰی کا بڑا احسان ہے کہ انہیں میں سے ایک رسول ان میں بھیجا ، جو انہیں اس کی آیتیں پڑھ کر سُناتا ہے اور انہیں پاک کرتا ہے اور انہیں کتاب اور حکمت سِکھاتا ہے ، یقیناً یہ سب اس سے پہلے کھُلی گُمراہی میں تھے ۔

Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error.

۔ ( کیا بات ہے ) کہ جب تمہیں ایک ایسی تکلیف پہنچی کہ تم اس جیسی دو چند پہنچا چکے ، تو یہ کہنے لگے یہ کہاں سے آگئی؟ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ یہ خود تمہاری طرف سے ہے ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

Why [is it that] when a [single] disaster struck you [on the day of Uhud], although you had struck [the enemy in the battle of Badr] with one twice as great, you said, "From where is this?" Say, "It is from yourselves." Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

اور تمہیں جو کچھ اس دن پہنچا جس دن دو جماعتوں میں مڈبھیڑہوئی تھی ، وہ سب اللہ کے حکم سے تھا اور اس لئے کہ اللہ تعالٰی ایمان والوں کو ظاہری طور پر جان لے ۔

And what struck you on the day the two armies met was by permission of Allah that He might make evident the [true] believers.

اور منافقوں کو بھی معلوم کرلے جن سے کہا گیا کہ آؤ اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرو ، یا کافروں کو ہٹاؤ ، تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ اگر ہم لڑائی جانتے ہوتے تو ضرور ساتھ دیتے ، وہ اس دن بہ نسبت ایمان کے کُفر سے بہت قریب تھے ، اپنے منہ سے وہ باتیں بناتے ہیں جو ان کے دِلوں میں نہیں ، اور اللہ تعالٰی خوب جانتا ہے جسے وہ چھپاتے ہیں ۔

And that He might make evident those who are hypocrites. For it was said to them, "Come, fight in the way of Allah or [at least] defend." They said, "If we had known [there would be] fighting, we would have followed you." They were nearer to disbelief that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah is most Knowing of what they conceal -

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو خود بھی بیٹھے رہے اور اپنے بھائیوں کی بابت کہا کہ اگر وہ بھی ہماری بات مان لیتے تو قتل نہ کئے جاتے ۔ کہہ دیجئے! کہ اگر تم سچے ہو تو اپنی جانوں سے موت کو ہٹا دو ۔

Those who said about their brothers while sitting [at home], "If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then prevent death from yourselves, if you should be truthful."

جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں شہید کئے گئے ہیں ان کو ہرگِز مُردہ نہ سمجھیں ، بلکہ وہ زندہ ہیں اپنے رب کے پاس روزیاں دیئے جاتے ہیں ۔

And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,

اللہ تعالٰی نے اپنا فضل جو انہیں دے رکھا ہے اس سے بہت خوش ہیں اور خوشیاں منا رہے ہیں ان لوگوں کی بابت جو اب تک ان سے نہیں ملے ان کے پیچھے ہیں اس پر کہ انہیں نہ کوئی خوف ہے اور نہ وہ غمگین ہونگے ۔

Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

وہ خوش ہوتے ہیں اللہ کی نعمت اور فضل سے اور اس سے بھی کہ اللہ تعالٰی ایمان والوں کے اجر کو برباد نہیں کرتا ۔

They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty and [of the fact] that Allah does not allow the reward of believers to be lost -

جن لوگوں نے اللہ اور رسول کے حکم کو قبول کیا اس کے بعد کہ انہیں پورے زخم لگ چکے تھے ، ان میں سے جنہوں نے نیکی کی اور پرہیز گاری برتی ان کے لئے بہت زیادہ اجر ہے

Those [believers] who responded to Allah and the Messenger after injury had struck them. For those who did good among them and feared Allah is a great reward -

وہ لوگ کہ جب ان سے لوگوں نے کہا کہ کافروں نے تمہارے مقابلے پر لشکر جمع کر لئے ہیں ۔ تم ان سے خوف کھاؤ تو اس بات نے انہیں ایمان میں اور بڑھا دیا اور کہنے لگے ہمیں اللہ کافی ہے اور وہ بہت اچھا کارساز ہے

Those to whom hypocrites said, "Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them." But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, "Sufficient for us is Allah , and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs."

۔ ( نتیجہ یہ ہوا ) کہ اللہ کی نعمت اور فضل کے ساتھ یہ لوٹے ، انہیں کوئی بُرائی نہیں پہنچی ، انہوں نے اللہ تعالٰی کی رضامندی کی پیروی کی ، اللہ بہت بڑے فضل والا ہے ۔

So they returned with favor from Allah and bounty, no harm having touched them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allah , and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.

یہ خبر دینے والا صرف شیطان ہی ہے جو اپنے دوستوں سے ڈراتا ہے تم ان کافروں سے نہ ڈرو اور میرا خوف رکھو ، اگر تم مومن ہو ۔

That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.

کُفر میں آگے بڑھنے والے لوگ تجھے غمناک نہ کریں ، یقین مانو کہ یہ اللہ تعالٰی کا کچھ نہ بگاڑ سکیں گے ، اللہ تعالٰی کا ارادہ ہے کہ ان کے لئے آخرت کا کوئی حصّہ عطا نہ کرے ، اور ان کے لئے بڑا عذاب ہے ۔

And do not be grieved, [O Muhammad], by those who hasten into disbelief. Indeed, they will never harm Allah at all. Allah intends that He should give them no share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment.

کُفر کو ایمان کے بدلے خریدنے والے ہرگِز ہرگِز اللہ تعالٰی کو کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتے اور ان ہی کے لئے المناک عذاب ہے ۔

Indeed, those who purchase disbelief [in exchange] for faith - never will they harm Allah at all, and for them is a painful punishment.

کافر لوگ ہماری دی ہوئی مُہلت کو اپنے حق میں بہتر نہ سمجھیں یہ مُہلت تو اس لئے ہے کہ وہ گناہوں میں اور بڑھ جائیں ان ہی کے لئے ذلیل کرنے والا عذاب ہے ۔

And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] We extend their time [of enjoyment] it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment.

جس حال پر تم ہو اسی پر اللہ ایمان والوں کو نہ چھوڑدے گا جب تک کہ پاک اور ناپاک کو الگ الگ نہ کردے ، اور نہ اللہ تعالٰی ایسا ہے کہ تمہیں غیب سے آگاہ کر دے ، بلکہ اللہ تعالٰی اپنے رسولوں میں سے جس کا چاہے انتخاب کر لیتا ہے ، اس لئے تم اللہ تعالٰی پر اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان رکھو ، اگر تم ایمان لاؤ اور تقویٰ کرو تو تمہارے لئے بڑا بھاری اجر ہے ۔

Allah would not leave the believers in that [state] you are in [presently] until He separates the evil from the good. Nor would Allah reveal to you the unseen. But [instead], Allah chooses of His messengers whom He wills, so believe in Allah and His messengers. And if you believe and fear Him, then for you is a great reward.

جنہیں اللہ تعالٰی نے اپنے فضل سے کچھ دے رکھا ہے وہ اس میں اپنی کنجُوسی کو اپنے لئے بہتر خیال نہ کریں بلکہ وہ ان کے لئے نہایت بدتر ہے ؟عنقریب قیامت والے دن یہ اپنی کنجوسی کی چیز کے طوق ڈالے جائیں گے ، آسمانوں اور زمین کی میراث اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کے لئے اور جو کچھ تم کر رہے ہو ، اس سے اللہ تعالٰی آگاہ ہے ۔

And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.

یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی نے ان لوگوں کا قول بھی سُنا جنہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ تعالٰی فقیر ہے اور ہم تونگّر ہیں ان کے اس قول کو ہم لکھ لیں گے ۔ اور ان کا انبیاء کو بلا وجہ قتل کرنا بھی ، اور ہم ان سے کہیں گے کہ جلنے والا عذاب چکھّو!

Allah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, "Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.

یہ تمہارے پیش کردہ اعمال کا بدلہ ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی اپنے بندوں پر ظلم کرنے والا نہیں ۔

That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allah is not ever unjust to [His] servants."

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ تعالٰی نے ہمیں حکم دیا ہے کہ کسی رسول کو نہ مانیں جب تک وہ ہمارے پاس ایسی قربانی نہ لائے جسے آگ کھا جائے ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر تم سچّے ہو تو مجھ سے پہلے تمہارے پاس جو رسول دیگر معجزوں کے ساتھ یہ بھی لائے جیسے تم کہہ رہے ہو پھر تم نے انہیں کیوں مار ڈالا؟

[They are] those who said, "Indeed, Allah has taken our promise not to believe any messenger until he brings us an offering which fire [from heaven] will consume." Say, "There have already come to you messengers before me with clear proofs and [even] that of which you speak. So why did you kill them, if you should be truthful?"

پھر بھی اگریہ لوگ آپ کو جھُٹلائیں تو آپ سے پہلے بھی بہت سے وہ رسول جھُٹلائے گئے ہیں جو روشن دلیلیں صحیفے اور منّور کتاب لے کر آئے ۔

Then if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture.

ہر جان موت کا مزہ چکھنے والی ہے اور قیامت کے دن تم اپنے بدلے پورے پورے دیئے جاؤ گے پس جو شخص آگ سے ہٹا دیا جائے اور جنّت میں داخل کر دیا جائے بیشک وہ کامیاب ہوگیا اور دنیا کی زندگی تو صرف دھوکے کی جنس ہے

Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

یقیناً تمہارے مالوں اور جانوں سے تمہاری آزمائش کی جائے گی اور یہ بھی یقین ہے کہ تمہیں ان لوگوں کی جو تم سے پہلے کتاب دیئے گئے اور مشرکوں کو بہت سی دکھ دینے والی باتیں بھی سننی پڑیں گی اور اگر تم صبر کرلو اور پرہیزگاری اختیار کرو تو یقیناً یہ بہت بڑی ہمت کا کام ہے ۔

You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.

اور اللہ تعالٰی نے جب اہل کتاب سے عہد لیا کہ تم اسے سب لوگوں سے ضُرور بیان کرو گے اور اسے چھُپاؤ گے نہیں ، تو پھر بھی ان لوگوں نے اس عہد کو اپنی پیٹھ پیچھے ڈال دیا اور اسے بہت کم قیمت پر بیچ ڈالا ۔ ان کا یہ بیوپار بہت بُرا ہے ۔

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased.

وہ لوگ جو اپنے کرتوتُوں پر خوش ہیں اور چاہتے ہیں کہ جو انہوں نے نہیں کیا اس پر بھی ان کی تعریفیں کی جائیں آپ انہیں عذاب سے چھُٹکارہ میں نہ سمجھئے ان کے لئے تو دردناک عذاب ہے ۔

And never think that those who rejoice in what they have perpetrated and like to be praised for what they did not do - never think them [to be] in safety from the punishment, and for them is a painful punishment.

آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہی اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent.

آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش میں اور رات دن کے ہیر پھیر میں یقیناً عقلمندوں کے لئے نشانیاں ہیں

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.

جو اللہ تعالٰی کا ذکر کھڑے اور بیٹھے اور اپنی کروٹوں پر لیٹے ہوئے کرتے ہیں اور آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش میں غور و فکر کرتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں اے ہمارے پروردگار ! تو نے یہ بے فائدہ نہیں بنایا ۔ تو پاک ہے پس ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا لے ۔

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اے ہمارے پالنے والے !تو جسے جہنّم میں ڈالے یقیناً تو نے اسے رُسوا کیا ، اور ظالموں کا مددگار کوئی نہیں ۔

Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire - You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.

اے ہمارے رب! ہم نے سُنا کہ مُنادی کرنے والا با آواز بلند ایمان کی طرف بُلا رہا ہے کہ لوگو! اپنے رب پر ایمان لاؤ ، پس ہم ایمان لائے یا الٰہی! اب تُو ہمارے گُناہ معاف فرما اور ہماری بُرائیاں ہم سے دُور کردے اور ہماری موت نیکوں کے ساتھ کر ۔

Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous.

اے ہمارے پالنے والے معبود! ہمیں وہ دے جس کا وعدہ تو نے ہم سے اپنے رسولوں کی زبانی کیا ہے اور ہمیں قیامت کے دن رُسوا نہ کر ، یقیناً تو وعدہ خلافی نہیں کرتا ۔

Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise."

پس ان کے رب نے ان کی دعا قبول فرمالی کہ تم میں سے کسی کام کرنے والے کے کام کو خواہ وہ مرد ہو یا عورت میں ہرگز ضائع نہیں کرتا ، تم آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے ہم جنس ہو اس لئے وہ لوگ جنہوں نے ہجرت کی اور اپنے گھروں سے نکال دیئے گئے اور جنہیں میری راہ میں ایذا دی گئی اور جنہوں نے جہاد کیا اور شہید کئے گئے ، میں ضرور ضرور ان کی بُرائیاں ان سے دُور کردوں گا اور بالیقین انہیں اُن جنّتوں میں لے جاؤنگا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں ، یہ ہے ثواب اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف سے اور اللہ تعالٰی ہی کے پاس بہترین ثواب ہے ۔

And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah , and Allah has with Him the best reward."

تجھے کافروں کا شہروں میں چلنا پھرنا فریب میں نہ ڈال دے ۔

Be not deceived by the [uninhibited] movement of the disbelievers throughout the land.

یہ تو بہت ہی تھوڑا فائدہ ہے ، اس کے بعد ان کا ٹھکانہ توجہنّم ہے اور وہ بُری جگہ ہے ۔

[It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.

لیکن جو لوگ اپنے رب سے ڈرتے رہے ان کے لئے جنّتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں ، ان میں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے یہ مہمانی ہے اللہ کی طرف سے اور نیکوکاروں کے لئے جو کچھ اللہ تعالیٰ کے پاس ہے وہ بہت ہی بہتر ہے ۔

But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allah . And that which is with Allah is best for the righteous.

یقیناً اہلِ کتاب میں سے بعض ایسے بھی ہیں جو اللہ تعالٰی پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور تمہاری طرف جو اُتارا گیا ہے اور ان کی جانب جو نازل ہوا اس پر بھی ، اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں کو تھوڑی تھوڑی قیمت پر بیچتے بھی نہیں ، ان کا بدلہ ان کے رب کے پاس ہے ، یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی جلد حساب لینے والا ہے ۔

And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, [being] humbly submissive to Allah . They do not exchange the verses of Allah for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.
