And you had already known about those who transgressed among you concerning the sabbath, and We said to them, "Be apes, despised."
Aur yaqeenan tumhen unn logon ka ilm bhi hai jo tum mein say haftay kay baray mein hadd say barh gaye aur hum ney bhi keh diya kay tum zaleel bandar bann jao.
और उन लोगों का हाल तुम जानते हो जो “सब्त” (सनीचर) के मामले में अल्लाह के हुक्म से निकल गए, तो हमने उनको कहा कि तुम लोग ज़लील बंदर बन जाओ।
And We did certainly give Moses the Torah and followed up after him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, [O Children of Israel], with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of messengers] you denied and another party you killed.
Hum ney ( hazrat ) musa ko kitab di aur inn kay peechay aur rasool bhejay aur hum ney ( hazrat ) essa ibn-e-marium ko roshan daleelen din aur rooh-ul-qudus say unn ki taeed kerwaee. Lekin jab kabhi tumharay pass rasool woh cheez laye jo tumhari tabiyaton kay khilaf thi tum ney jhat say takabbur kiya pus baaz ko to jhutla diya aur baaz ko qatal bhi ker dala.
और हमने मूसा को किताब दी और उसके बाद पै-दर-पै रसूल भेजे और ईसा बिन मरियम को खुली-खुली निशानियाँ दीं और रूहुल-क़ुद्स से उसकी ताईद की, तो जब भी कोई रसूल तुम्हारे पास वह चीज़ ले कर आया जिसको तुम्हारा दिल नहीं चाहता था तो तुमने तकब्बुर किया, फिर एक जमात को झुटलाया, और एक जमात को मार डाला।
And Moses had certainly brought you clear proofs. Then you took the calf [in worship] after that, while you were wrongdoers.
Tumharay pass to musa yehi daleelen ley ker aaye lekin phir bhi tum ney bachra pooja tum ho hi zalim.
और मूसा तुम्हारे पास खुली निशानियाँ लेकर आए, फिर तुमने उसके पीछे बछड़े को माबूद बना लिया और तुम ज़ुल्म करने वाले हो।
And We have certainly revealed to you verses [which are] clear proofs, and no one would deny them except the defiantly disobedient.
Aur yaqeenan hum ney aap ki taraf roshan daleelen bheji hain jin ka inkar siwaye bad kaaron kay koi nahi kerta.
और हमने तुम्हारे ऊपर वाज़ेह निशानियाँ उतारीं, और कोई उनका इनकार नहीं करता मगर वही लोग जो फ़ासिक़ हैं।
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah . And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.
Aur uss cheez kay peechay parr gaye jissay shayateen ( hazrat ) suleman ki hukoomat mein parhtay thay. Suleman ney to kufur na kiya tha bulkay yeh kufur shetanon ka tha woh logon ko jadoo sikhaya kertay thay aur babul mein haroot maroot do farishton per jo utaara gaya tha woh dono bhi kissi shaks ko uss waqt tak nahi sikhatay thay jab tak yeh na keh den kay hum to aik aazmaeesh hain tu kufur na ker phir log inn say woh seekhtay jiss say khawind-o-biwi mein judaee daal den aur dar-asal woh baghair Allah Taalaa ki marzi kay kissi ko koi nuksan nahi phoncha saktay yeh log woh seekhtay hain jo enhen nuksan phonchaye aur nafa na phoncha sakay aur woh bil yaqeen jantay hain kay iss key lenay walay ka aakhirat mein koi hissa nahi. Aur woh bad tareen cheez hai jiss kay badlay mein woh apney aap ko farokht ker rahey hain kaash kay yeh jantay hotay.
और वे उस चीज़ के पीछे पड़ गए जिसको शयातीन सुलेमान के दौरे-हुकूमत में पढ़ते थे; हालाँकि सुलेमान ने कुफ़्र नहीं किया बल्कि ये शैतान थे जिन्होंने कुफ़्र किया, वे लोगों को जादू सिखाते थे, और वे उस चीज़ में पड़ गए जो “बाबिल” में दो फ़रिश्तों “हारूत” और “मारूत” पर उतारी गई, जबकि उनका हाल यह था कि जब भी वे किसी को (जादू के) ये करतब सिखाते तो उससे कह देते कि हम तो आज़माइश के लिए हैं पस तुम काफ़िर न बनो, मगर वे उनसे वे चीज़ें सीखते जिससे मर्द और उसकी बीवी के दरमियान जुदाई डाल दें; हालाँकि वे अल्लाह की इजाज़त के बग़ैर उससे किसी का कुछ बिगाड़ नहीं सकते थे, और वे ऐसी चीज़ सीखते थे जो उनको नुक़सान पहुँचाए और नफ़ा न दे, और वे जानते थे कि जो कोई इस चीज़ का ख़रीदार हो आख़िरत में उसका कोई हिस्सा नहीं, कैसी बुरी चीज़ है जिसके बदले उन्होंने अपनी जानों को बेच डाला, काश वे इसको समझते।
And already had Allah given you victory at [the battle of] Badr while you were few in number. Then fear Allah ; perhaps you will be grateful.
Jang-e-badar mein Allah Taalaa ney ain uss waqt tumhari madad farmaee thi jabkay tum nihayat giri hui halat mein thay iss liye Allah hi say daro! ( na kiss aur say ) takay tumhen shukar guzari ki tofiq ho.
और अल्लाह (इससे पहले) तुम्हारी मदद कर चुका है बद्र में जबकि तुम कमज़ोर थे, पस अल्लाह से डरो; ताकि तुम शुक्रगुज़ार रहो।
And you had certainly wished for martyrdom before you encountered it, and you have [now] seen it [before you] while you were looking on.
Jang say pehlay to tum shahdat ki aarzoo mein thay abb issay apni aankhon say apney samney dekh liya.
और तुम मौत की तमन्ना कर रहे थे उससे मिलने से पहले ही, पस अब तो तुमने उसको खुली आँखों से देख ही लिया।
And Allah had certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were killing the enemy by His permission until [the time] when you lost courage and fell to disputing about the order [given by the Prophet] and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you love. Among you are some who desire this world, and among you are some who desire the Hereafter. Then he turned you back from them [defeated] that He might test you. And He has already forgiven you, and Allah is the possessor of bounty for the believers.
Allah Taalaa ney tum say apna wada sacha ker dikhaya jabkay tum uss kay hukum say enhen kaat rahey thay. Yahan tak kay jab tum ney pust himmati ikhtiyar ki aur kaam mein jhagarney lagay aur na farmani ki uss kay baad uss ney tumhari chahat ki cheez tumhen dikha di tum mein say baaz duniya chahatay thay aur baaz ka irada aakhirat ka tha to phir uss ney tumhen unn say pher diya kay tum ko aazmaye aur yaqeenan uss ney tumhari laghzish say dar guzar farma diya aue eman walon per Allah baray fazal wala hai.
और अल्लाह न तुमसे अपने वादे को सच्चा कर दिखाया जबकि तुम उनको अल्लाह के हुक्म से क़त्ल कर रहे थे, यहाँ तक कि जब तुम ख़ुद कमज़ोर पड़ गए और तुमने हुक्म को मानने में इख़्तिलाफ़ किया और तुम कहने पर न चले बाद इसके कि अल्लाह ने तुमको वह चीज़ दिखा दी थी जो तुम चाहते थे, तुम में से बअज़ दुनिया चाहते थे और तुम में से बअज़ आख़िरत चाहते थे, फिर अल्लाह ने तुम्हारा रुख़ उनसे फेर दिया ताकि तुम्हारी आज़माइश करे, और अल्लाह ने तुमको माफ़ कर दिया, और अल्लाह ईमान वालों के हक़ में बड़ा फ़ज़्ल वाला है।

और अल्लाह न तुमसे अपने वादे को सच्चा कर दिखाया जबकि तुम उनको अल्लाह के हुक्म से क़त्ल कर रहे थे, यहाँ तक कि जब तुम ख़ुद कमज़ोर पड़ गए और तुमने हुक्म को मानने में इख़्तिलाफ़ किया और तुम कहने पर न चले बाद इसके कि अल्लाह ने तुमको वह चीज़ दिखा दी थी जो तुम चाहते थे, तुम में से बअज़ दुनिया चाहते थे और तुम में से बअज़ आख़िरत चाहते थे, फिर अल्लाह ने तुम्हारा रुख़ उनसे फेर दिया ताकि तुम्हारी आज़माइश करे, और अल्लाह ने तुमको माफ़ कर दिया, और अल्लाह ईमान वालों के हक़ में बड़ा फ़ज़्ल वाला है।
Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
Tum mein say jin logon ney uss din peeth dikhaee jiss din dono jamaton ki mudd bher hui thi yeh log apney baaz kartooton kay baees shetan kay phuslaney mein aagaye lakin yaqeen jano kay Allah Taalaa ney unhen moaf ker diya Allah Taalaa hai bakshney wala aur tahammul wala.
तुम में से जो लोग फिर गए थे उस दिन कि दोनों गिरोहों में मुडभेड़ हुई उनको शैतान ने उनके बअज़ आमाल के सबब से फिस्ला दिया था, अल्लाह ने उनको माफ़ कर दिया, बेशक अल्लाह बख़्शने वाला, बड़ा बुर्दबार है।
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear Allah . But if you disbelieve - then to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Free of need and Praiseworthy.
Zamain-o-aasamanon ki her her cheez Allah Taalaa hi ki milkiyat mein hai aur waqaee hum ney unn logon ko jo tum say pehlay kitab diye gaye thay aur tum ko bhi yehi hukum kiya hai kay Allah say dartay raho aur agar tum kufur kero to yaad rakho kay Allah kay liye hai jo kuch aasmanon mein hai aur jo kuch zamin mein hai aur Allah boht bey niaz aur tareef kiya gaya hai.
और अल्लाह का है जो कुछ आसमानों में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है, और हमने हुक्म दिया है उन लोगों को जिन्हें तुमसे पहले किताब दी गई और तुमको भी कि अल्लाह से डरो, और अगर तुम न मानो तब भी अल्लाह ही का है जो कुछ आसमानों में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है, और अल्लाह बेनियाज़ है, सब ख़ूबियों वाला है।
And Allah had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We delegated from among them twelve leaders. And Allah said, "I am with you. If you establish prayer and give zakah and believe in My messengers and support them and loan Allah a goodly loan, I will surely remove from you your misdeeds and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way."
Aur Allah Taalaa ney bani israeel say ehad-o-paymaan liya aur unhi mein say baara sardar hum ney muqarrar farmaye aur Allah Taalaa ney farma diya kay yaqeenan mein tumharay sath hun agar tum namaz qaeem rakho gay aur zakat detay raho gay aur meray rasoolon ko maantay raho gay aur unn ki madad kertay raho gay aur Allah Taalaa ko behtar qarz detay raho gay to yaqeenan mein tumhari buraiyan tum say door rakhoon ga aur tumhen unn jannaton mein ley jaon ga jin kay neechay chashmay beh rahey hain abb iss ehas-o-paymaan kay baad bhi tum mein say jo inkari ho jaye woh yaqeenan raah-e-raast say bhatak gaya.
और अल्लाह ने बनी-इस्राईल से अहद लिया और हमने उनमें से बारह सरदार मुक़र्रर किए, और अल्लाह ने कहा कि मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ, अगर तुम नमाज़ क़ायम करोगे और ज़कात अदा करोगे और मेरे पैग़म्बरों पर ईमान लाओगे और उनकी मदद करोगे और अल्लाह को क़र्ज़े-हसन दोगे तो मैं तुमसे तुम्हारे गुनाह ज़रूर दूर कर दूँगा और तुमको ज़रूर ऐसे बाग़ों में दाख़िल करूँगा जिनके नीचे नहरें बहती होंगी, पस तुम में से जो शख़्स इसके बाद इनकार करेगा तो वह सीधे रास्ते से भटक गया।
Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.
Issi waja say hum ney bani israeel per yeh likh diya kay jo shaks kissi ko baghair iss kay, kay woh kissi ka qatil ho ya zamin mein fasaad machaney wala ho qatal ker daalay to goya uss ney tamam logon ko qatal ker diya aur jo shaks kissi aik ki jaan bacha ley uss ney goya tamam logon ko zinda ker diya aur unn kay pass humara boht say rasool zahir daleelen ley ker aaye lekin phir uss kay baad bhi unn mein kay aksar log zamin mein zulm-o-ziyadti aur zabadasti kerney walay hi rahey.
इसी सबब से हमने बनी-इस्राईल पर यह लिख दिया कि जो शख़्स किसी को क़त्ल करे बग़ैर इसके कि उसने किसी को क़त्ल किया हो या ज़मीन में फ़साद बरपा किया हो तो गोया उसने सारे इंसानों को क़त्ल कर डाला, और जिसने एक शख़्स को बचाया तो गोया उसने सारे इंसानों को बचा लिया, और हमारे पैग़म्बर उनके पास खुले हुए अहकाम लेकर आए उसके बावजूद उनमें से बहुत-से लोग ज़मीन में ज़्यादतियाँ करते हैं।
And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah . And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.
Aur boht say payghumbar jo aap say pehlay huye hain unn ki bhi takzeeb ki jaa chuki hai so unhon ney iss per sabar hi kiya unn ki takzeeb ki gaee unn ko ezza phonchaee gaeen yahan tak kay humari imdad unn ko phonchi aur Allah ki baaton ka koi badalney wala nahi aur aap kay pass baaz payghumbaron ki baaz khabren phonch chuki hain.
और आपसे पहले भी रसूलों को झुठलाया गया तो उन्होंने झुठलाए जाने और तकलीफ़ दिए जाने पर सब्र किया यहाँ तक कि उनको हमारी मदद पहुँच गई, और अल्लाह की बातों को कोई बदलने वाला नहीं, और पैग़म्बरों की कुछ ख़बरें तो आपको पहुँच ही चुकी हैं।
And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah . And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.
Aur boht say payghumbar jo aap say pehlay huye hain unn ki bhi takzeeb ki jaa chuki hai so unhon ney iss per sabar hi kiya unn ki takzeeb ki gaee unn ko ezza phonchaee gaeen yahan tak kay humari imdad unn ko phonchi aur Allah ki baaton ka koi badalney wala nahi aur aap kay pass baaz payghumbaron ki baaz khabren phonch chuki hain.
और आपसे पहले भी रसूलों को झुठलाया गया तो उन्होंने झुठलाए जाने और तकलीफ़ दिए जाने पर सब्र किया यहाँ तक कि उनको हमारी मदद पहुँच गई, और अल्लाह की बातों को कोई बदलने वाला नहीं, और पैग़म्बरों की कुछ ख़बरें तो आपको पहुँच ही चुकी हैं।
And We have already sent [messengers] to nations before you, [O Muhammad]; then We seized them with poverty and hardship that perhaps they might humble themselves [to Us].
Aur hum ney aur ummaton ki taraf bhi jo kay aap say pehlay guzar chuki hain payghumbar bhejay thay so hum ney unn ko tangdasti aur beemari say pakra takay woh izhar-e-ijz ker saken.
और तुमसे पहले बहुत-सी क़ौमों की तरफ़ हमने रसूल भेजे फिर हमने उनको पकड़ा सख़्ती में और तकलीफ़ में; ताकि वे गिड़गिड़ाएं।
[It will be said to them], "And you have certainly come to Us alone as We created you the first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed upon you behind you. And We do not see with you your 'intercessors' which you claimed that they were among you associates [of Allah ]. It has [all] been severed between you, and lost from you is what you used to claim."
Aur tum humaray pass tanha tanha aagaye jiss tarah hum ney awwal baar tum ko peda kiya tha aur jo kuch hum ney tum ko diya tha uss ko apney peechay hi chor aaye aur hum to tumharay humrah tumharay inn shafaat kerney walon ko nahi dekhtay jin ki nisbat tum dawa rakhtay thay kay woh tumharay moamlay mein shareek hain. Waqaee tumharay aapas mein to qata talluq hogaya aur woh tumhara sab tum say gaya guzra hua.
और तुम हमारे पास अकेले-अकेले आ गए जैसा कि हमने तुमको पहली मर्तबा पैदा किया था और जो कुछ असबाब हमने तुमको दिए थे सब कुछ तुम पीछे छोड़ आए, और हम तुम्हारे साथ सिफ़ारिश करने वालों को भी नहीं देखते जिनके मुतअल्लिक़ तुम समझते थे कि तुम्हारा काम बनाने में उनका भी हिस्सा है, यक़ीनन (उन से) तुम्हारा रिश्ता टूट गया है और तुम से जाते रहे वे दावे जो तुम किया करते थे।
And We have certainly established you upon the earth and made for you therein ways of livelihood. Little are you grateful.
Aur be-shak hum ney tum ko zamin per rehney ki jagah di aur hum ney tumaharay liye iss mein samaan-e-rizq peda kiya tum log boht hi kum shukar kertay ho.
और हमने तुमको ज़मीन में जगह दी और हमने तुम्हारे लिए उसमें ज़िंदगी का सामान फ़राहम किया, मगर तुम बहुत कम शुक्र करते हो।
And We have certainly created you, [O Mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.
Aur hum ney tum ko peda kiya phri hum hi ney tumhari soorat banaee phir hum ney farishton say kaha aadam ko sajda kero so sab ney sajda kiya ba-juz iblees kay woh sajda kerney walon mein shamil na hua.
और हमने तुमको पैदा किया फिर हमने तुम्हारी सूरतें बनाईं फिर फ़रिश्तों से कहा कि आदम को सज्दा करो पस उन्होंने सज्दा किया मगर इबलीस सज्दा करने वालों में शामिल न हुआ।
And We had certainly brought them a Book which We detailed by knowledge - as guidance and mercy to a people who believe.
Aur hum ney inn logon kay pass aik aisi kitab phoncha di hai jiss ko hum ney apney ilm-e-kaamil say boht wazeh ker kay biyan ker diya hai woh zariya-e-hidayat aur rehmat unn logon kay liye hai jo eman laye hain.
और हम उन लोगों के पास एक ऐसी किताब ले आए हैं जिसको हमने इल्म की बुनियाद पर वाज़ेह कर दिया है हिदायत और रहमत बनाकर उन लोगों के लिए जो ईमान लाएं।
Those cities - We relate to you, [O Muhammad], some of their news. And certainly did their messengers come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus does Allah seal over the hearts of the disbelievers.
Inn bastiyon kay kuch kuch qissay hum aap say biyan ker rahey hain aur inn sab kay pass unn kay payghumbar mojzaat ley ker aaye phir jiss cheez ko enhon ney ibtidaa mein jhoota keh diya yeh baat nahi hui kay phir iss ko maan letay Allah Taalaa issi tarah kafiron kay dilon per band laga deta hai.
ये वे बस्तियाँ हैं जिनके कुछ हालात हम तुमको सुना रहे हैं, उनके पास उनके रसूल निशानियाँ लेकर आए तो हरगिज़ ऐसा न हुआ कि वे ईमान लाएं उस बात पर जिसको वे पहले झुठला चुके थे, इस तरह अल्लाह मुनकिरीन के दिलों पर मुहर लगा देता है।
And We certainly seized the people of Pharaoh with years of famine and a deficiency in fruits that perhaps they would be reminded.
Aur hum ney firaon walon ko mubtila kiya qehat saali mein aur phalon ki kum peda waari mein takay woh naseehat qabool keren.
और हमने फ़िरऔन के लोगों को क़हत और पैदावार की कमी में मुब्तला किया; ताकि उनको नसीहत हो।
And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.
Aur hum ney aisay boht say jinn aur insan dozakh kay liye peda kiye hain jin kay dil aisay hain jin say nahi samajhtay aur jin ki aankhen aisi hain jin say nahi dekhtay aur jin kay kaam aisay hain jin say nahi suntay. Yeh log chopayon ki tarah hain bulkay yeh unn say bhi ziyada gumrah hain. Yeho log ghafil hain.
और हमने जिन्नात और इंसान में से बहुतों को जहन्नम के लिए पैदा किया है, उनके दिल हैं जिनसे वे समझते नहीं, उनकी आँखें हैं जिनसे वे देखते नहीं और उनके कान हैं जिनसे वे सुनते नहीं, वे ऐसे हैं जैसे चौपाये बल्कि उनसे भी ज़्यादा बे-राह, यही लोग ग़ाफ़िल हैं।
They swear by Allah that they did not say [anything against the Prophet] while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their [pretense of] Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper.
Yeh Allah ki qasmen kha ker kehtay hain kay enhon ney nahi kaha halankay yaqeenan kufur ka kalma inn ki zaban say nikal chuka aur yeh apney islam kay baad kafir hogaye hain aur enhon ney iss kaam ka qasad bhi kiya jo poora na ker sakay. Yeh sirf issi baat ka intiqam ley rahey hain kay enhen Allah ney apney fazal say aur uss kay rasool ney dolat mand ker diya agar yeh abb bhi toba ker len to yeh inn kay haq mein behtar hai aur agar mun moray rahen to Allah Taalaa enhen duniya-o-aakhirat mein dard naak azab dey ga aur zamin bhar mein inn ka koi himayati aur madadgar na khara hoga.
वे अल्लाह की क़सम खाते हैं कि उन्होंने नहीं कहा; हालाँकि उन्होंने कुफ़्र की बात कही और वे इस्लाम लाने के बाद काफ़िर हो गए और उन्होंने वह चाहा जो उन्हें हासिल न हो सका, और यह सिर्फ़ उसका बदला था कि उनको अल्लाह और उसके रसूल ने अपने फ़ज़्ल से ग़नी कर दिया, अगर वे तौबा करें तो यह उनके हक़ में बेहतर है और अगर वे मुँह फेर लें तो अल्लाह उनको दर्दनाक अज़ाब देगा दुनिया में भी और आख़िरत में भी, और ज़मीन में उनका न कोई हिमायती होगा और न मददगार।
And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We recompense the criminal people
Aur hum ney tum say pehlay boht say girohon ko halak ker diya jabkay unhon ney zulm kiya halankay unn kay pass unn kay payghumber bhi dalaeel ley ker aaye aur woh aisay kab thay kay eman ley aatay? Hum mujrim logon ko aisi hi saza diya kertay hain.
और हमने तुमसे पहले क़ौमों को हलाक किया जबकि उन्होंने ज़ुल्म किया, और उनके पैग़म्बर उनके पास खुली दलीलों के साथ आए और वे ईमान लाने वाले न बने, हम ऐसा ही बदला देते हैं मुजरिम लोगों को।
And We had certainty settled the Children of Israel in an agreeable settlement and provided them with good things. And they did not differ until [after] knowledge had come to them. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ
Aur hum ney bani israeel ko boht acha thikana rehney ko diya aur hum ney unhen pakeezah cheezen khaney ko den. So unhon ney ikhtilaf nahi kiya yahan tak kay unn kay pass ilm phonch gaya. Yaqeeni baat hai kay aap ka rab unn kay darmiyan qayamat kay din unn umoor mein faisla ker dey ga jinn mein woh ikhtilaf kertay thay.
और हमने बनी-इस्राईल को अच्छा ठिकाना दिया और उनको पाकीज़ा चीज़ें खाने के लिए दीं, फिर उन्होंने इख़्तिलाफ़ नहीं किया मगर उस वक़्त जबकि उनके पास इल्म आ चुका था, यक़ीनन आपका रब क़यामत के दिन उनके दरमियान उस चीज़ का फ़ैसला कर देगा जिस में वे इख़्तिलाफ़ करते रहे।
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, [saying], " Indeed, I am to you a clear warner
Yaqeenan hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko uss ki qom ki taraf rasool bana ker bheja kay mein tumhen saaf saaf hoshiyar ker denay wala hun.
और हमने नूह (अलै॰) को उसकी क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजा कि मैं तुमको खुला हुआ डराने वाला हूँ।
And certainly did Our messengers come to Abraham with good tidings; they said, "Peace." He said, "Peace," and did not delay in bringing [them] a roasted calf.
Aur humaray bhejay huye payghaamber ibrahim kay pass khushkhabri ley ker phonchay aur salam kaha unhon ney bhi jawab-e-salam diya aur baghair kissi takheer kay gaye ka bhuna hua bachra ley aaye.
और इब्राहीम (अलै॰) के पास हमारे फ़रिश्ते ख़ुश-ख़बरी लेकर आए (और) कहा कि तुम पर सलामती हो, इब्राहीम (अलै॰) ने कहाः तुम पर भी सलामती हो, फिर देर न गुज़री कि इब्राहीम एक भुना हुआ बछड़ा ले आए।
And We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority
Aur yaqeenan hum ney musa ko apni aayaat aur roshan daleelon kay sath bheja tha.
और हमने मूसा (अलै॰) को अपनी निशानियों और वाज़ेह सनद के साथ भेजा।
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture, but it came under disagreement. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them. And indeed they are, concerning the Qur'an, in disquieting doubt.
Yaqeenan hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko kitab di. Phir iss mein ikhtilaf kiya gaya agar pehlay hi aap kay rab ki baat sadir na hogaee hoti to yaqeenan inn ka faisla ker diya jata enhen to iss mein sakht shuba hai.
और हमने मूसा (अलै॰) को किताब दी फिर उसमें फूट पड़ गई, और अगर आपके रब की तरफ़ से पहले ही एक बात न आ चुकी होती तो उनके दरमियान फ़ैसला कर दिया जाता, और ये लोग उसके बारे में (अभी तक) सख़्त क़िस्म के शक में पड़े हुए हैं।
And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her had he not seen the proof of his Lord. And thus [it was] that We should avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants.
Uss aurat ney yousuf ki taraf qasad kiya aur yousuf uss ka qasad kertay agar woh apney perwerdigar ki daleel na dekhtay yun hi hua iss wastay kay hum uss say buraee aur bey hayaee door ker den. Be-shak woh humaray chunay huye bandon mein say tha.
और औरत ने उसका इरादा कर लिया और वह भी उसका इरादा करता अगर वह अपने रब की दलील न देख लेता, ऐसा हुआ ताकि हम उससे बुराई और बेहयाई को दूर कर दें, बेशक वह हमारे चुने हुए बंदों में से था।
She said, "That is the one about whom you blamed me. And I certainly sought to seduce him, but he firmly refused; and if he will not do what I order him, he will surely be imprisoned and will be of those debased."
Uss waqt aziz-e-misir ki biwi ney kaha yehi hain jin kay baray mein tum mujhay tanay dey rahi thin mein ney her chand iss say apna matlab hasil kerna chaha lekin yeh baal baal bacha raha aur jo kuch mein iss say keh rahi hun agar yeh na keray ga to yaqeenan yeh qaid ker diya jayega aur be-shak yeh boht hi bey izzat hoga.
उस वक़्त अज़ीज़े-मिस्र की बीवी ने कहाः यही है वह जिसके बारे में तुम मुझे तअने दे रही थीं, मैंने हरचंद उससे अपना मतलब निकालना चाहा लेकिन यह बाल-बाल बचा रहा, और जो कुछ मैं उससे कह रही हूँ अगर न करेगा तो यक़ीनन क़ैद कर दिया जाएगा और बेशक यह बहुत ही बेइज़्ज़त होगा।
And We have already sent messengers before you and assigned to them wives and descendants. And it was not for a messenger to come with a sign except by permission of Allah . For every term is a decree.
Hum aap say pehlay bhi boht say rasool bhej chukay hain aur hum ney unn sab ko biwi bachon wala banaya tha kissi rasool say nahi hosakta kay koi nishani baghair Allah ki ijazat kay ley aaye her muqarrara waday ki aik likhat hai.
और हमने आपसे पहले कितने रसूल भेजे और हमने उनको बीवियाँ और औलाद अता कीं, और किसी रसूल के लिए यह मुमकिन नहीं कि वह अल्लाह की इजाज़त के बग़ैर कोई निशानी ले आए, हर एक वादा लिखा हुआ है।
And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], "Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of Allah ." Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
( yaad rakho jabkay ) hum ney musa ko apni nishaniyan dey ker bheja kay tu apni qom ko andheron say roshni mein nikal aur enhen Allah kay ehsanaat yaad dila. Iss mein nishaniyan hain her aik sabar shukar kerney wlay kay liye.
और यक़ीनन हमने मूसा (अलै॰) को अपनी निशानियों के साथ भेजा कि अपनी क़ौम को अंधेरों से निकाल कर उजाले में लाइए और उनको अल्लाह के दिनों की याद दिलाइए, बेशक उनके अंदर बड़ी निशानियाँ हैं हर उस शख़्स के लिए जो सब्र और शुक्र करने वाला हो।
And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muhammad], among the sects of the former peoples.
Hum ney aap say pehlay agli ummaton mein bhi apney rasool ( barabar ) bhejay.
और हम आपसे पहले गुज़री हुई क़ौमों में रसूल भेज चुके हैं।
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers.
Yaqeenan hum ney aasman mein burj banaye hain aur dekhney walon kay liye ussay saja diya gaya hai.
और हमने आसमान में बुर्ज बनाए और देखने वालों के लिए उसे रौनक़ दी।
And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come].
Aur tum mein say aagay barhney walay aur peechay hatney walay bhi humaray ilm mein hain.
और हम तुम्हारे अगलों को भी जानते हैं और तुम्हारे पिछलों को भी जानते हैं।
And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come].
Aur tum mein say aagay barhney walay aur peechay hatney walay bhi humaray ilm mein hain.
और हम तुम्हारे अगलों को भी जानते हैं और तुम्हारे पिछलों को भी जानते हैं।
And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.
Yaqeenan hum ney insan ko kali aur sarhi hui khankhanati mitti say peda farmaya hai.
यक़ीनन हमने इंसान को काली और सड़ी हुई खनखनाती हुई मिट्टी से पैदा किया है।
And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers.
Aur hijr walon ney bhi rasoolon ko jhutalaya.
और हिज्र वालों ने भी रसूलों को झुठलाया।
And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an.
Yaqeenan hum ney aap ko saat aayaten dey rakhi hain kay dohraee jati hain aur azeem quran bhi dey rakha hai.
और यक़ीनन हमने आपको सात आयतें दे रखी हैं कि दोहराई जाती हैं और अज़मत वाला क़ुरआन भी दे रखा है।
And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say.
Humen khoob ilm hai inn baaton say aap ka dil tang hota hai.
और हम जानते हैं कि जो कुछ वे कहते हैं उससे आपका दिल तंग होता है।
And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.
Hum ney her ummat mein rasool bheja kay ( logo! ) sirf Allah ki ibadat kero aur uss kay siwa tamam maboodon say bacho. Pus baaz logon ko to Allah Taalaa ney hidayat di aur baaz per gumrahi sabit hogaee pus tum khud zamin mein chal phir ker dekh lo kay jhutlaney walon ka anjam kaisa kuch hua?
और हमने हर उम्मत में एक रसूल भेजा कि अल्लाह की इबादत करो और ताग़ूत (शैतान) से बचो, पस उनमें से कुछ को अल्लाह ने हिदायत दी और उनमें से किसी पर गुमराही साबित हुई, पस ज़मीन में चल-फिर कर देखो कि झुठलाने वालों का अंजाम क्या हुआ।
And We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur'an is [in] a clear Arabic language.
Humen bakhoobi ilm hai kay yeh kafir kehtay hain kay issay to aik aadmi sikhata hai uss ki zaban jiss ki taraf yeh nisbat ker rahey hain ajami hai aur yeh quran to saaf arabi mein hai.
और हमको मालूम है कि ये लोग कहते हैं कि इसको तो एक आदमी सिखाता है, जिस शख़्स की तरफ़ वे मंसूब करते हैं उसकी ज़बान अजमी है और यह (क़ुरआन) साफ़ अरबी ज़बान है।
And there had certainly come to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him; so punishment overtook them while they were wrongdoers.
Unn kay pass unhin mein say rasool phoncha phir bhi unhon ney ussay jhutlaya pus unhen azab ney aa dabocha aur woh thay hi zalim.
और उनके पास एक रसूल उन्हीं में से आया तो उसको उन्होंने झूठा बताया फिर उनको अज़ाब ने पकड़ लिया और वे ज़ालिम थे।
And We have certainly diversified [the contents] in this Qur'an that mankind may be reminded, but it does not increase the disbelievers except in aversion.
Hum ney to iss quran mein her her tarah biyan farma diya kay log samajh jayen lekin iss say enhen to nafrat hi barhti hai.
और हमने इस क़ुरआन में तरह-तरह से बयान किया ताकि वे याद-दहानी हासिल करें, लेकिन उनकी बेज़ारी बढ़ती ही जा रही है।
And your Lord is most knowing of whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And We have made some of the prophets exceed others [in various ways], and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].
Aasamno-o-zamin mein jo bhi hai aap ka rab sab ko bakhoobi janta hai. Hum ney baaz payghumbaron ko baaz per behtari aur bartari di hai aur dawood ko zaboor hum ney ata farmaee hai.
और आपका रब ख़ूब जानता है उनको जो आसमानों और ज़मीन में हैं, और हमने बअज़ नबियों को बअज़ पर फ़ज़ीलत दी और हमने दाऊद (अलै॰) को ज़बूर दी।
And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.
Yaqeenan hum ney aulad-e-adam ko bari izzat di aur unhen khuski aur tari ki sawariyan din aur unhen pakeeza cheezon ki roziyan din aur apni boht si makhlooq per unhen fazilat ata farmaee.
हम ने आदम की सन्तान को श्रेष्ठता प्रदान की और उन्हें थल और जल में सवारी दी और अच्छी-पाक चीज़ों की उन्हें रोज़ी दी और अपने पैदा किए हुए बहुत-से प्राणियों की अपेक्षा उन्हें श्रेष्ठता प्रदान की
And We have certainly diversified for the people in this Qur'an from every [kind] of example, but most of the people refused [anything] except disbelief.
Hum ney to iss quran mein logon kay samjhney kay liye her tarah say tamam misalen biyan ker di hain magar aksat log inkar say baaz nahi aatay.
हम ने इस क़ुरआन में लोगों के लिए प्रत्येक तत्वदर्शिता की बात फेर-फेरकर बयान की, फिर भी अधिकतर लोगों के लिए इनकार के सिवा हर चीज़ अस्वीकार्य ही रही
And We had certainly given Moses nine evident signs, so ask the Children of Israel [about] when he came to them and Pharaoh said to him, "Indeed I think, O Moses, that you are affected by magic."
Hum ney musa ko no moajzzay bilkul saaf saaf ata farmaye tu khud hi bani isaeel say pooch ley kay jab woh inn kay pass phonchay to firaon bola kay aey musa! Meray khayal mein to tujh per jadoo ker diya gaya hai.
हम ने मूसा को नौ खुली निशानियाँ प्रदान की थी। अब इसराईल की सन्तान से पूछ लो कि जब वह उन के पास आया और फ़िरऔन ने उस से कहा, "ऐ मूसा! मैं तो तुम्हें बड़ा जादूगर समझता हूँ।"
