[Hud] said, "O my people, there is not foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds."
Unhon ney farmaya aey meri qom! Mujh mein zara bhi kum aqali nahi lekin mein perwerdigar-e-aalam ka bheja hua payghumbar hun.
हूद (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! मुझे कोई नादानी नहीं है बल्कि मैं सारे जहानों के परवरदिगार का रसूल हूँ।
Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you in stature extensively. So remember the favors of Allah that you might succeed.
Aur kiya tum iss baat say tajjub kertay ho kay tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say tumharay pass aik aisay shaks ki maarfat jo tumhari hi jinss ka hai koi naseehat ki baat aagaee takay woh shaks tum ko daraye aur tum yeh halat yaad kero kay Allah ney tum ko qom-e-nooh kay baad ja nasheen banaya aur deel dol mein tum ko phelao ziyada diya so Allah ki nematon ko yaad kero takay tum ko falah ho.
क्या तुमको इस पर तअज्जुब है कि तुम्हारे पास तुम्हीं में से एक शख़्स के ज़रिए तुम्हारे रब की नसीहत आई ताकि वह तुमको डराए, और याद करो जबकि उसने क़ौमे-नूह के बाद तुमको उसका जानशीन बनाया और डील-डोल में तुमको फैलाव भी ज़्यादा दिया, पस अल्लाह की नेमतों को याद करो ताकि तुम कामयाब हो जाओ।
[Hud] said, "Already have defilement and anger fallen upon you from your Lord. Do you dispute with me concerning [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has not sent down any authority? Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."
Unhon ney farmaya kay bus abb tum per Allah ki taraf say azab aur ghazab aaya hi chahata hai kiya tum mujh say aisay naamon kay baab mein jhagartay ho jin ko tum ney aur tumharay baap dadon ney thehra liya hai? Unn kay mabood honey ko Allah ney koi daleel nahi bheji. So tum muntazir raho mein bhi tumharay sath intizar ker raha hun.
हूद (अलै॰) ने कहाः तुम पर तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से अज़ाब और ग़ुस्सा वाक़े हो चुका है, क्या तुम मुझसे उन नामों पर झगड़ते हो जो तुमने और तुम्हारे बाप-दादाओं ने रख लिए हैं, जिनकी अल्लाह ने कोई दलील नहीं उतारी, पस इन्तिज़ार करो मैं भी तुम्हारे साथ इन्तिज़ार करने वालों में से हूँ।
And to the Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. This is the she-camel of Allah [sent] to you as a sign. So leave her to eat within Allah 's land and do not touch her with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.
Aur hum ney samood ki taraf unn kay bhai saleh ( alh-e-salam ) ko bheja. Unhon ney farmaya aey meri qom! Tum Allah ki ibadat kero uss kay siwa koi tumhara mabood nahi. Tumharay pass tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say aik wazeh daleel aa chuki hai. Yeh oontni hai Allah ki jo tumharay liye daleel hai so iss ko chor do kay Allah Taalaa ki zamin mein khati phiray aur issko buraee kay sath haath bhi na lagana kay kahin tum ko dard naak azab aa pakray.
और समूद की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई सालेह (अलै॰) को भेजा, उन्होंने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो, उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से एक खुली हुई निशानी आ चुकी है, यह अल्लाह की ऊँटनी तुम्हारे लिए एक निशानी के तौर पर है पस उसको छोड़ दो कि वह खाए अल्लाह की ज़मीन में और उसे किसी बुराई के इरादे से छूना भी नहीं वर्ना तुमको उनका एक दर्दनाक अज़ाब पकड़ लेगा।

और समूद की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई सालेह (अलै॰) को भेजा, उन्होंने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो, उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से एक खुली हुई निशानी आ चुकी है, यह अल्लाह की ऊँटनी तुम्हारे लिए एक निशानी के तौर पर है पस उसको छोड़ दो कि वह खाए अल्लाह की ज़मीन में और उसे किसी बुराई के इरादे से छूना भी नहीं वर्ना तुमको उनका एक दर्दनाक अज़ाब पकड़ लेगा।
Said the eminent ones who were arrogant among his people to those who were oppressed - to those who believed among them, "Do you [actually] know that Salih is sent from his Lord?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which he was sent, are believers."
Unn ki qom mein jo mutakabbir sardar thay unhon ney gharib logon say jo kay inn mein say eman ley aaye thay poocha kiya tum ko iss baat ka yaqeen hai kay saleh ( alh-e-salam ) apney rab ki taraf say bhejay huye hain? Unhon ney kaha kay be-shak hum to iss per poora yaqeen rakhtay hain jo inn ko dey ker bheja gaya hai.
उनकी क़ौम के बड़ों ने जिन्होंने घमंड किया उन ईमान वालों से कहा जो कमज़ोर समझे जाते थेः क्या तुमको यक़ीन है कि सालेह अपने रब का भेजा हुआ है, उन्होंने जवाब दिया कि हम तो जो वे लेकर आए हैं उस पर ईमान रखते हैं।
Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people."
Tum mardon kay sath shewat rani kertay ho aurton ko chor ker bulkay tum to hadd hi say guzar gaye ho.
तुम औरतों को छोड़ कर मर्दों से अपनी ख़्वाहिश पूरी करते हो; बल्कि तुम हद से गुज़र जाने वाले लोग हो।
But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."
Aur unn ki qom say koi jawab na bann para ba-juz iss kay, kay aapas mein kehney lagay kay inn logon ko apni basti say nikal do. Yeh log baray pak saaf bantay hain.
मगर उनकी क़ौम का जवाब इस बात के सिवा कुछ न था कि इन्हें अपनी बस्ती से निकाल दो, ये लोग बड़े पाकबाज़ बनते हैं।
And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. So fulfill the measure and weight and do not deprive people of their due and cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. That is better for you, if you should be believers.
Aur hum ney madiyan ki taraf unn kay bhai shoaib ( alh-e-salam ) ko bheja. Unhon ney farmaya aey meri qom! Tum Allah ki ibadat kero iss kay siwa koi tumhara mabood nahi tumharay pass tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say wazeh daleel aa chuki hai. Pus tum naap aur tol poora poora kiya kero aur logon ko unn ki cheezen kum kerkay mat do aur ruy-e-zamin mein iss kay baad kay iss ki durusti ker di gaee fasaad mat phelao yeh tumharay liye naafay hai agar tum tasdeeq kero.
और मदयन की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई शुऐब को भेजा, उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो जिसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से दलील पहुँच चुकी है पस नाप-तौल पूरा करो और मत घटाकर दो लोगों को उनकी चीज़ें, और फ़साद न मचाओ ज़मीन में उसकी इस्लाह के बाद, यह तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है अगर तुम मोमिन हो।
And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. और मदयन की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई शुऐब को भेजा, उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो जिसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से दलील पहुँच चुकी है पस नाप-तौल पूरा करो और मत घटाकर दो लोगों को उनकी चीज़ें, और फ़साद न मचाओ ज़मीन में उसकी इस्लाह के बाद, यह तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है अगर तुम मोमिन हो।
And We sent to no city a prophet [who was denied] except that We seized its people with poverty and hardship that they might humble themselves [to Allah ].
Aur hum ney kissi basti mein koi nabi nahi bheja kay wahan kay rehney walon ko hum ney sakhti aur takleef mein na pakra hota kay woh girr girayen.
और हमने जिस बस्ती में भी कोई नबी भेजा उसके रहने वालों को हमने सख़्ती और तकलीफ़ में मुब्तला किया; ताकि वे गिड़गिड़ाएं।
And We did not find for most of them any covenant; but indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient.
Aur aksar logon mein hum ney wafay-e-ehad na rakha aur hum ney aksar logon ko bey hukum hi paya.
और हमने उनके अकसर लोगों में अहद की पाबंदी न पाई और हमने उनमें से अकसर को नाफ़रमान पाया।
[Who is] obligated not to say about Allah except the truth. I have come to you with clear evidence from your Lord, so send with me the Children of Israel."
Meray liye yehi shayaan hai kay ba-juz sach kay Allah ki taraf koi baat mansoob na keroonmein tumharay pass tumhara rab ki taraf say aik bari daleel bhi laya hun so tu bani israeel ko meray sath bhej dey.
पाबंद हूँ इस बात का कि अल्लाह के नाम पर कोई बात हक़ के सिवा ना कहूँ, मैं तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से खुली हुई निशानी लेकर आया हूँ पस तुम बनी-इस्राईल को मेरे साथ जाने दो।
Who wants to expel you from your land [through magic], so what do you instruct?"
Yeh chahata hai kay tum ko tumhari sir zamin say bahir ker dey so tum log kiya mashwara detay ho.
जो चाहता है कि तुमको तुम्हारी ज़मीन से निकाल दे, अब तुम्हारी क्या राय है।
I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides; then I will surely crucify you all."
Mein tumharay aik taraf kay haath aur doosri taraf kay paon kaaton ga. Phir tum sab ko sooli per latka doon ga.
मैं तुम्हारे हाथ और पाँव मुख़ालिफ़ सिम्तों से काटूँगा फिर तुम सबको सूली पर चढ़ा दूँगा।
And [recall, O Children of Israel], when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, [who were] afflicting you with the worst torment - killing your sons and keeping your women alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
Aur qoh waqt yaad kero jab hum ney tum ko firaon walon say bacha liya jo tum ko bari sakht takleef phonchatay thay. Tumharay beton ko qatal ker daaltay thay aur tumhari aurton ko zinda chor detay thay aur iss mein tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say bari bhari aazmaeesh thi.
और जब हमने फ़िरऔन के लोगों से तुमको नजात दी जो तुमको सख़्त अज़ाब में डाले हुए थे कि तुम्हारे बेटों को क़त्ल करते और तुम्हारी औरतों को ज़िंदा रहने देते, और इसमें तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से बड़ी आज़माइश थी।
Indeed, those who took the calf [for worship] will obtain anger from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world, and thus do We recompense the inventors [of falsehood].
Be-shak jin logon ney go sala parasti ki hai unn per boht jald unn kay rab ki taraf say ghazab aur zillat iss dunyawi zindagi hi mein paray gi aur hum iftra pardazon ko aisi hi saza diya kertay hain.
बेशक जिन लोगों ने बछड़े को माबूद बनाया उनको उनके रब का ग़ज़ब पहुँचेगा और ज़िल्लत दुनिया की ज़िंदगी में, और हम ऐसा ही बदला देते हैं झूठ बाँधने वालों को।
And Moses chose from his people seventy men for Our appointment. And when the earthquake seized them, he said, "My Lord, if You had willed, You could have destroyed them before and me [as well]. Would You destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? This is not but Your trial by which You send astray whom You will and guide whom You will. You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy upon us; and You are the best of forgivers.
Aur musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney sattar aadmi apni qom mein say humaray waqt-e-moyyen kay liye muntakhib kiye so jab unn ko zalzalay ney aa pakra to musa ( alh-e-salam ) arz kerney lagay kay aey meray perwerdigar! Agar tujh ko yeh manzoor hota to iss say qabal hi inn ko aur mujh ko halak ker deta. Kiya tu hum mein say chand bey waqufon ki harkat per sab ko halak ker dey ga? Yeh waqiya teri taraf say mehaz aik imtehan hai aisay imtehanaat say jiss ko tu chahaye gumrahi mein daal dey aur jiss ko chahaye hidayat per qaeem rakhay. Tu hi to humara kaar saaz hai pus hum per maghfirat aur rehmat farma aur tu sab moafi denay walon say ziyada acha hai.
और मूसा (अलै॰) ने अपनी क़ौम में से सत्तर आदमी चुने हमारे मुक़र्रर किए हुए वक़्त के लिए, फिर जब उनको ज़लज़ले ने पकड़ा तो मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ मेरे रब! अगर आप चाहते तो पहले ही इनको हलाक कर देते और मुझको भी, क्या आप हमको ऐसे काम की वजह से हलाक करेंगे जो हम में से बेवक़ूफ़ों ने किया, यह सब आपकी जानिब से आज़माइश है आप इससे जिसको चाहें गुमराह कर दें और जिसको चाहें हिदायत दें, आप ही हमारे थामने वाले हैं पस हमको बख़्श दीजिए और हम पर रहम फ़रमाइए, आप सबसे बेहतर बख़्शने वाले हैं।
But those who deny Our signs - We will progressively lead them [to destruction] from where they do not know.
Aur jo log humari aayaat ko jhutlatay hain hum unn ko ba-tadreej ( girift mein ) liye jarahey hain iss tor per kay unn ko khabar bhi nahi.
और जिन लोगों ने हमारी निशानियों को झुठलाया हम उनको आहिस्ता-आहिस्ता पकड़ेंगे ऐसी जगह से जहाँ से उनको ख़बर भी नहीं होगी।
Then do they not give thought? There is in their companion [Muhammad] no madness. He is not but a clear warner.
Kiya inn logon ney iss baat per ghor nahi kiya kay inn kay sathi ko zara bhi junoon nahi woh to sirf aik saaf saaf daraney walay hain.
क्या उन लोगों ने ग़ौर नहीं किया कि उनके साथी को कोई पागलपन नहीं है, वह तो एक साफ़ डराने वाला है।
It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her. And when he covers her, she carries a light burden and continues therein. And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke Allah , their Lord, "If You should give us a good [child], we will surely be among the grateful."
Woh Allah Taalaa aisa hai jiss ney tum ko aik tan-e-wahid say peda kiya aur iss say uss ka jora banaya takay woh iss apney joray say unss hasil keray phir jab miyan ney biwi say qurbat ki to uss ko hamal reh gaya halka sa. So woh uss ko liye huye phirti rahi phri jab woh bojhal hogaee to dono miyan biwi Allah say jo unn ka maalik hai dua kerney lagay kay agar tu ney hum ko sahih saalim aulad dey di to hum khoob shukar guzari keren gay.
वही है जिसने तुमको पैदा किया एक जान से और उसी से बनाया उसका जोड़ा ताकि उसके पास सुकून हासिल करे, फिर जब मर्द ने औरत को ढाँक लिया तो उसको एक हल्का सा हमल रह गया फिर वह उसको लिए फिरती रही, फिर जब वह बोझल हो गई तो दोनों ने मिलकर अपने रब से दुआ की कि अगर आप ने हमें तंदुरुस्त औलाद दी तो हम आपके शुक्रगुज़ार रहेंगे।
And know that anything you obtain of war booty - then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion - the day when the two armies met. And Allah , over all things, is competent.
Jaan lo kay tum jiss qisam ki aur jo kuch ghanimat hasil kero uss mein say panchwa hissa Allah ka hai aur rasool ka aur qarabat daron ka aur yateemon ka aur miskeenon ka aur musafiron ka agar tum Allah per eman laye ho aur uss cheez per jo hum ney apney banday per uss din utara hai jo din haq-o-baatil ki judaee ka tha jiss din do fojen bhirr gaee thin. Allah her cheez per qadir hai.
और जान लो कि जो कुछ माले-ग़नीमत तुम्हें हासिल हो उसका पाँचवा हिस्सा अल्लाह और रसूल के लिए और रिश्तेदारों और यतीमों और मिस्कीनों और मुसाफ़िरों के लिए है अगर तुम ईमान रखते हो अल्लाह पर और उस चीज़ पर जो हमने अपने बंदे (मुहम्मद) पर उतारी फ़ैसले के दिन जिस दिन कि दोनों जमातों में मुडभेड़ हुई, और अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है।
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.
Tum inn kay muqablay kay liye apni taqat bhar qooat ki tayyari kero aur ghoron ko tayyar rakhney ki kay iss say tum Allah kay dushmanon ko khof zada rakh sako aur inn kay siwa auron ko bhi jinhen tum nahi jantay Allah enhen khoob jaan raha hai jo kuch bhi Allah ki raah mein sarf kero gay woh tumhen poora poora diya jayega aur tumhara haq na maara jayega.
और उनके लिए जिस क़दर तुमसे हो सके तैयार रखो क़ुव्वत और पले हुए घोड़े कि उससे तुम्हारी हैबत रहे अल्लाह के दुश्मनों पर और तुम्हारे दुश्मनों पर और उनके अलावा दूसरों पर भी जिनको तुम नहीं जानते, अल्लाह उनको जानता है, और जो कुछ तुम अल्लाह की राह में ख़र्च करोगे वह तुम्हें पूरा-पूरा दिया जाएगा और तुम्हारे साथ कोई कमी नहीं की जाएगी।
Indeed, those who have believed and emigrated and fought with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - they are allies of one another. But those who believed and did not emigrate - for you there is no guardianship of them until they emigrate. And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help, except against a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty. And Allah is Seeing of what you do.
Jo log eman laye aur hijrat ki aur apney maalon aur janon say Allah ki raah mein jihad kiya aur jin logon ney inn ko panah di aur madad ki yeh sab aapas mein aik doosray kay rafiq hain aur jo eman to layen hain lekin hijrat nahi ki tumharay liye inn ki kuch bhi rafaqat nahi jabtak kay woh hijrat na keren. Haan agar woh tum say deen kay baray mein madad talab keren to tum per madad kerna zaroori hai siwaye inn logon kay kay tum mein aur inn mein ehad-o-payman hai tum jo kuch ker rahey ho Allah khoob dekhta hai.
जो लोग ईमान लाए और जिन्होंने हिजरत की और अल्लाह की राह में अपने माल व जान से जिहाद किया और वे लोग जिन्होंने पनाह दी और मदद की, वे लोग आपस में एक-दूसरे के दोस्त हैं, और जो लोग ईमान लाए मगर उन्होंने हिजरत नहीं की तो उनसे तुम्हारा दोस्ती का कोई तअल्लुक़ नहीं जब तक कि वे हिजरत करके न आ जाएं, और वे तुमसे दीन के मामले में मदद माँगें तो तुम पर उनकी मदद करना वाजिब है सिवाए उसके कि यह मदद ऐसी क़ौम के ख़िलाफ़ हो जिसके साथ तुम्हारा मुआहिदा है, और जो कुछ तुम करते हो अल्लाह उसको देख रहा है।
Indeed, those who have believed and emigrated and fought with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - they are allies of one another. Haan agar woh tum say deen kay baray mein madad talab keren to tum per madad kerna zaroori hai siwaye inn logon kay kay tum mein aur inn mein ehad-o-payman hai tum jo kuch ker rahey ho Allah khoob dekhta hai.
जो लोग ईमान लाए और जिन्होंने हिजरत की और अल्लाह की राह में अपने माल व जान से जिहाद किया और वे लोग जिन्होंने पनाह दी और मदद की, वे लोग आपस में एक-दूसरे के दोस्त हैं, और जो लोग ईमान लाए मगर उन्होंने हिजरत नहीं की तो उनसे तुम्हारा दोस्ती का कोई तअल्लुक़ नहीं जब तक कि वे हिजरत करके न आ जाएं, और वे तुमसे दीन के मामले में मदद माँगें तो तुम पर उनकी मदद करना वाजिब है सिवाए उसके कि यह मदद ऐसी क़ौम के ख़िलाफ़ हो जिसके साथ तुम्हारा मुआहिदा है, और जो कुछ तुम करते हो अल्लाह उसको देख रहा है।
They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah , and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.
Inn logon ney Allah ko chor ker apney aalimon aur darwishon ko apna rab banaya hai aur marium kay betay maseeh ko halankay unhen sirf aik akelay Allah hi ki ibadat ka hukum diya gaya tha jiss kay siwa koi mabood nahi woh pak hai unn kay shareek muqarrar kerney say.
उन्होंने अल्लाह के सिवा अपने उलमा और मशाइख़ को रब बना डाला और मसीह बिन मरियम को भी; हालाँकि उनको सिर्फ़ यह हुक्म था कि वे एक माबूद की इबादत करें, उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, वह पाक है उस शिर्क से जो वे करते हैं।
Say, "Do you await for us except one of the two best things while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or at our hands? So wait; indeed we, along with you, are waiting."
Keh dijiye kay tum humaray baray mein jiss cheez ka intizar ker rahey ho woh do bhalaeeyon mein say aik hai aur hum tumharay haq mein iss ka intizar kertay hain kay ya to Allah Taalaa apney pass say koi saza tumhen dey ya humaray hathon say pus aik taraf tum muntazir raho doosri janib tumharay sath hum bhi muntazir hain.
कह दें कि तुम हमारे लिए सिर्फ़ दो भालाईयों में से एक भलाई के मुंतज़िर हो, मगर हम तुम्हारे हक़ में इसके मुंतज़िर हैं कि अल्लाह तुम पर अज़ाब भेजे अपनी तरफ़ से या हमारे हाथों से, बस अब इंतिज़ार करो हम भी तुम्हारे साथ मुंतज़िर हैं।
But when he gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused.
Lekin jab Allah ney apney fazal say enhen diya to yeh iss mein bakheeli kerney lagay aur taal matol ker kay mun mor liya.
फिर जब अल्लाह ने उनको अपने फ़ज़्ल से अता किया तो वे उसमें कंजूसी करने लगे और बरगश्ता होकर मुँह फेर लिया।
Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.
Bila shuba Allah hi ki saltanat hai aasmanon aur zamin mein. Wohi jilata aur maarta hai aur tumhara Allah kay siwa na koi yaar hai aur na koi madadgar hai.
बेशक अल्लाह ही की सल्तनत है आसमानों में और ज़मीन में, वही ज़िंदा करता है और वही मारता है, और अल्लाह के सिवा न तुम्हारा कोई दोस्त है और न कोई मददगार।
And whenever a surah is revealed, they look at each other, [saying], "Does anyone see you?" and then they dismiss themselves. Allah has dismissed their hearts because they are a people who do not understand.
Aur jab koi surat nazil ki jati hai to aik doosray ko dekhney lagtay hain kay tum ko koi dekhta to nahi phir chal detay hain Allah Taalaa ney inn ka dil pher diya hai iss waja say kay woh bey samajh log hain.
और जब कोई सूरत उतारी जाती है तो ये लोग आपस में एक-दूसरे को देखते हैं कि कोई देखता तो नहीं, फिर चल देते हैं, अल्लाह ने उनके दिलों को फेर दिया इस वजह से कि यह समझ से काम लेने वाले लोग नहीं हैं।
Or do they say [about the Prophet], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a surah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah , if you should be truthful."
Kiya yeh log yun kehtay hain kay aap ney iss ko gharr liya hai? Aap keh dijiye kay phir tum iss ki misil aik hi surat lao aur jin jin ghair Allah ko bula sako bula lo agar sachay ho.
क्या लोग कहते हैं कि इस शख़्स ने उसको घड़ा है, कह दीजिए कि तुम इसके मानिंद कोई एक ही सूरत ले आओ और अल्लाह के सिवा तुम जिसको बुला सको बुला लो, अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
Say, "Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?" Say, "Has Allah permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about Allah ?"
Aap kahiye kay yeh to batao kay Allah ney tumharay liye jo kuch rizq bheja tha phri tum ney uss ka kuch hissa haram aur kuch halal qarar dey liya. Aap poochiye kay kiya tum ko Allah ney hukum diya tha ya Allah per iftra hi kertay ho?
कह दें कि यह बताओ कि अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे लिए जो रिज़्क़ उतारा फिर तुमने उसमें से कुछ को हराम ठहराया और कुछ को हलाल, कह दें कि क्या अल्लाह ने तुमको इसका हुक्म दिया है या तुम अल्लाह पर झूठ लगा रहे हो?
They have said, " Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?
Woh kehtay hain kay Allah aulad rakhta hai. Subhan Allah ! Who to kissi ka mohtaj nahi ussi ki milkiyat hai jo kuch aasmano mein hai aur jo kuch zamin mein hai. Tumharay pass iss per koi daleel nahi. Kiya Allah kay zimmay aisi baat lagatay ho jiss ka tum ilm nahi rakhtay.
कहते हैं कि अल्लाह ने बेटा बनाया है, वह तो पाक है, बेनियाज़ है, उसी का है जो कुछ आसमानों में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है, तुम्हारे पास उसकी कोई दलील नहीं, क्या तुम अल्लाह पर ऐसी बात घड़ते हो जिसका तुम इल्म नहीं रखते।
And if you turn away [from my advice] then no payment have I asked of you. My reward is only from Allah , and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims."
Phir bhi agar tum aeyraaz hi kiye jao to mein ney tum say koi maawza to nahi maanga mera maawza to sirf Allah hi kay zimmay hai aur mujh ko hukum kiya gaya hai kay mein musalmanon mein say rahon.
फिर अगर तुम मुँह मोड़ लोगे तो मैंने तुमसे कोई मज़दूरी नहीं मांगी है, मेरा अज्र तो अल्लाह ही के ज़िम्मे है और मुझको हुक्म दिया गया है कि मैं फ़रमाँबरदारों में से रहूँ।
Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah , if you should be truthful."
Kiya yeh kehtay hain kay iss quran ko issi ney gharha hai jawab dijiye kay phir tum bhi issi ju misil das surten ghari hui ley aao aur Allah kay siwa jissay chahao apney sath bula bhi lo agar tum sachay ho.
क्या वे कहते हैं कि पैग़म्बर ने इस किताब को घड़ लिया है, कह दीजिए कि तुम भी ऐसी ही दस मन-घड़त सूरतें बनाकर ले आओ और अल्लाह के सिवा जिसको बुला सको बुला लो अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
So is one who [stands] upon a clear evidence from his Lord [like the aforementioned]? And a witness from Him follows it, and before it was the Scripture of Moses to lead and as mercy. Those [believers in the former revelations] believe in the Qur'an. But whoever disbelieves in it from the [various] factions - the Fire is his promised destination. So be not in doubt about it. Indeed, it is the truth from your Lord, but most of the people do not believe.
Kiya woh shaks jo apney rab kay pass ki daleel per ho aur uss kay sath Allah ki taraf gawah ho aur iss say pehlay musa ki kitab ( gawah ho ) jo paishwa aur rehmat hai ( auron kay barabar ho sakta hai? ) . yehi log hain jo iss per eman rakhtay hain aur tamam firqon mein say jo bhi iss ka munkir ho uss kay aakhri waday ki jagah jahannum hai pus tu iss mein kissi qisam kay shubay mein na reh yaqeenan yeh teray rab ki janib say sirasir bar haq hai lekin aksat log eman laney walay nahi hotay.
भला एक शख़्स जो अपने रब की तरफ़ से एक दलील पर है उसके बाद अल्लाह की तरफ़ से उसके लिए एक गवाह भी आ गया, और उससे पहले मूसा (अलै॰) की किताब रहनुमा और रहमत की हैसियत से मौजूद थी, ऐसे ही लोग उस पर ईमान लाते हैं, और जमातों में से जो कोई उसका इनकार करे तो उसके वादे की जगह आग है, पस आप उसके बारे में शक में ना पड़ें, यह हक़ है आपके रब की तरफ़ से मगर अकसर लोग नहीं मानते।
Those were not causing failure [to Allah ] on earth, nor did they have besides Allah any protectors. For them the punishment will be multiplied. They were not able to hear, nor did they see.
Na yeh log duniya mein Allah ko hara sakay aur na inn ka koi himayati Allah kay siwa hua inn kay liye azab dugna kiya jayega na yeh sunnay ki taqat rakhtay thay aur na yeh dekhtay hi thay.
वे लोग ज़मीन में अल्लाह को बेबस करने वाले नहीं और न अल्लाह के सिवा उनका कोई मददगार है, उन पर दोगुना अज़ाब होगा, वे न सुन सकते हैं और न देखते हैं।
He said, "O my people have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it?
Nooh ney kaha meri qom walo! Mujhay batao to agar mein apney rab ki taraf say kissi daleel per hua aur mujhay uss ney apney pass ki koi rehmat ata ki ho phir woh tumhari nigahon mein na aaee to kiya zabardasti mein ussay tumharay galay mandh doon halankay tum iss say bey zaar ho.
नूह (अलै॰) ने फ़रमायाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! बताओ अगर मैं अपने रब की तरफ़ से एक रौशन दलील पर हूँ और उसने मुझ पर अपने पास से रहमत भेजी है मगर वह तुमको नज़र न आई तो क्या हम उसको तुम पर चिपका सकते हैं जबकि तुम उससे बेज़ार हो।
He said, "O my people have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it?
Nooh ney kaha meri qom walo! Mujhay batao to agar mein apney rab ki taraf say kissi daleel per hua aur mujhay uss ney apney pass ki koi rehmat ata ki ho phir woh tumhari nigahon mein na aaee to kiya zabardasti mein ussay tumharay galay mandh doon halankay tum iss say bey zaar ho.
नूह (अलै॰) ने फ़रमायाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! बताओ अगर मैं अपने रब की तरफ़ से एक रौशन दलील पर हूँ और उसने मुझ पर अपने पास से रहमत भेजी है मगर वह तुमको नज़र न आई तो क्या हम उसको तुम पर चिपका सकते हैं जबकि तुम उससे बेज़ार हो।
And he constructed the ship, and whenever an assembly of the eminent of his people passed by him, they ridiculed him. He said, "If you ridicule us, then we will ridicule you just as you ridicule.
Woh ( nooh ) kashti bananey lagay unn ki qom kay jo sardar unn ka pass say guzartay woh unn ka mazaq uratay woh kehtay agar tum humara mazaq uratay ho to hum bhi tum per aik din hansen gay jaisay tum hum per hanstay ho.
और नूह (अलै॰) कश्ती बनाने लगे, और जब कभी उनकी क़ौम के कोई सरदार उनके पास से गुज़रते वे उनका मज़ाक़ उड़ाते, नूह (अलै॰) कहते: अगर तुम हमारा मज़ाक़ उड़ाते हो तो हम भी तुम पर एक दिन हँसेंगे जैसे तुम हम पर हँसते हो।
And to 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. You are not but inventors [of falsehood].
Aur qom-e-aad ki taraf inn kay bhai hood ko bheja uss ney kaha meri qom walo! Allah hi ki ibadat kero uss kay siwa tumhara koi mabood nahi tum to sirf bohtaan bandh rahey ho.
और आद की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई हूद (अलै॰) को भेजा, उसने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो, उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, तुमने महज़ झूठ घड़ रखे हैं।
And when Our command came, We saved Hud and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us; and We saved them from a harsh punishment.
Aur jab humara hukum aa phoncha to hum ney hood ko aur uss kay musalman sathiyon ko apni khas rehmat say nijat ata farmaee aur hum ney unn sab ko sakht azab say bacha liya.
और जब हमारा हुक्म आ पहुँचा तो हमने अपनी रहमत से बचा लिया हूद को और उन लोगों को जो उसके साथ ईमान लाए थे और हमने उनको एक सख़्त अज़ाब से बचा लिया।
And to Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive."
Aur qom-e-samood ki taraf unn kay bhai saleh ko bheja uss ney kaha aey meri qom tum Allah ki ibadat kero uss kay siwa tumahra koi mabood nahi ussi ney tumhen zamin say peda kiya hai aur ussi ney tumhen iss zamin mein basaya hai pus tum uss say moafi talab kero aur uss ki taraf rujoo kero. Be-shak mera rab qarib aur duaon ka qabool kerney wala hai.
और समूद की तरफ़ हमने उनके भाई सालेह (अलै॰) को भेजा, उसने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो, उसके सिवा कोई तुम्हारा माबूद नहीं, उसी ने तुमको ज़मीन से बनाया और उसमें तुमको आबाद किया, पस उससे माफ़ी चाहो फिर उसकी तरफ़ रुजूअ़ करो, बेशक मेरा रब क़रीब है, क़बूल करने वाला है।
He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has given me mercy from Himself, who would protect me from Allah if I disobeyed Him? So you would not increase me except in loss.
Iss ney jawab diya kay aey meri qom kay logo! Zara batao to agar mein apney rab ki taraf say kissi mazboot daleel per hua aur uss ney mujhay apney pass ki rehmat ata ki ho phir agar mein ney uss ki na farmani ker li to kaun hai jo uss kay muqablay mein meri madad keray? Tum to mera nuksan hi barha rahey ho.
उसने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! बताओ अगर मैं अपने रब की तरफ़ से एक वाज़ेह दलील पर हूँ और उसने मुझको अपने पास से रहमत दी है तो मुझको अल्लाह से कौन बचाएगा अगर मैं उसकी नाफ़रमानी करूँ, पस तुम कुछ नहीं बढ़ाओगे मेरा सिवाए नुक़सान के।
So when Our command came, We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of layered hard clay, [which were]
Phir jab humara hukum aa phoncha hum ney uss basti ko zair-o-zabar ker diya upper ka hissa neechay ker diya aur unn per kankreelay pathar barsaye jo teh ba teh thay.
फिर जब हमारा हुक्म आ पहुँचा तो हमने उस बस्ती को उलट-पलट कर दिया और उस पर कंकरीले पत्थर बरसाए जो तह-ब-तह थे।
And to Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. And do not decrease from the measure and the scale. Indeed, I see you in prosperity, but indeed, I fear for you the punishment of an all-encompassing Day.
Aur hum ney madiyan walon ki taraf unn kay bhai shoaib ko bhej a uss ney kaha aey meri qom! Allah ki ibadat kero aur uss kay siwa tumhara koi mabood nahi aur tum naap tol mein bhi kami na kero mein to tumhen aasooda haal dekh raha hun aur mujhay tum per gherney walay din kay azab ka khof ( bhi ) hai.
और मदयन की तरफ़ उनके भाई शुऐब (अलै॰) को भेजा, उसने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, और नाप-तौल में और वज़न करने में कमी न करो, मैं तुमको अच्छे हाल में देख रहा हूँ और मैं तुम पर एक घेर लेने वाले दिन के अज़ाब से डरता हूँ।
He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him... ? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you; I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah . Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.
Kaha aey meri qom! Dekho to agar mein apney rab ki taraf say roshan daleel liye huye hon aur uss ney mujhay apney pass say behtareen rozi dey rakhi hai mera yeh irada bilkul nahi kay tumhara khilaf ker kay khud uss cheez ki taraf jhuk jaon jiss say tmhen rok raha hun meri irada to apni taqat bhar islaah kerney ka hi hai. Meri tofiq Allah hi ki madad say hai ussi per mera bharosa hai aur ussi ki taraf mein rujoo kerta hun.
शुऐब (अलै॰) ने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! बताओ अगर मैं अपने रब की तरफ़ से एक वाज़ेह दलील पर हूँ और उसने अपनी जानिब से मुझको अच्छा रिज़्क भी दिया, और मैं नहीं चाहता कि मैं ख़ुद वही काम करूँ जिससे मैं तुमको रोक रहा हूँ, मैं तो सिर्फ़ इस्लाह चाहता हूँ जहाँ तक हो सके, और मुझे तौफ़ीक़ तो अल्लाह ही से मिलेगी, उसी पर मैंने भरोसा किया है और उसी की तरफ़ मैं रुजूअ़ करता हूँ।
So do not be in doubt, [O Muhammad], as to what these [polytheists] are worshipping. They worship not except as their fathers worshipped before. And indeed, We will give them their share undiminished.
Iss liye aap inn cheezon say shak-o-shuba mein na rahen jinhen yeh log pooj rahey hain inn ki pooja to iss tarah hai jiss tarah inn kay baap dadon ki iss say pehlay thi. Hum inn sab ko inn ka poora poora hissa baghair kissi kami kay denay walay hi hain.
पस आप उन चीज़ों से शक में न रहें जिनकी ये लोग इबादत कर रहे हैं, ये तो बस उसी तरह इबादत कर रहे हैं जिस तरह उनसे पहले उनके बाप-दादा इबादत कर रहे थे, और हम उनका हिस्सा पूरा-पूरा देंगे बग़ैर किसी कमी के।
And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped.
Dekho zalimon ki taraf hergiz na jhukna werna tumhen bhi ( dozakh ki ) aag lagg jayegi aur Allah kay siwa aur tumhara madadgar na khara ho sakay ga aur na tum madad diye jaogay.
और उनकी तरफ़ न झुको जिन्होंने ज़ुल्म किया वर्ना तुमको आग पकड़ लेगी और अल्लाह के सिवा तुम्हारा कोई मददगार नहीं, फिर तुम कहीं मदद न पाओगे।
[Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a witness from her family testified. "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars.
Yousuf ney kaha yeh aurat hi mujhay phusla rahi thi aur aurat kay qabeelay hi kay aik shaks ney gawahee di kay agar iss ka kurta aagay say phata hua ho to aurat sachi hai aur yousuf jhoot bolney walon mein say hai.
यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) ने कहा कि इसी ने मुझे फुसलाने की कोशिश की, और औरत के कुनबे वालों में से एक गवाही देने वाले ने गवाही दी कि अगर उसका कुर्ता आगे से फटा हुआ हो तो औरत सच्ची है और वह झूठा है।
