الفاظ ( وَالْاَرْضِ )

اللہ تعالٰی نے ( حضرت ) آدم ( علیہ السلام ) سے فرمایا تم ان کے نام بتا دو ۔ جب انہوں نے بتا دئیے تو فرمایا کہ کیا میں نے تمہیں ( پہلے ہی ) نہ کہا تھا زمین اور آسمانوں کا غیب میں ہی جانتا ہوں اور میرے علم میں ہے جو تم ظاہر کر رہے ہو اور جو تم چھپاتے تھے ۔

He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed."

کیا تجھے علم نہیں کہ زمین اور آسمان کا ملک اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے اور اللہ کے سوا تمہارا کوئی ولی اور مددگار نہیں ۔

Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and [that] you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper?

یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالٰی کی اولاد ہے ، ( نہیں بلکہ ) وہ پاک ہے زمین اور آسمان کی تمام مخلوق اس کی ملکیت میں ہے اور ہر ایک اس کا فرما نبردار ہے ۔

They say, " Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are devoutly obedient to Him,

وہ زمین اور آسمانوں کو پیدا کرنے والا ہے ، وہ جس کام کو کرنا چاہے کہہ دیتا ہے کہ ہو جا ، بس وہی ہو جاتا ہے ۔

Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش ، رات دن کا ہیر پھیر ، کشتیوں کا لوگوں کونفع دینے والی چیزوں کو لئے ہوئے سمندروں میں چلنا آسمان سے پانی اتار کر ، مردہ زمین کو زندہ کر دینا اس میں ہر قسم کے جانوروں کو پھیلا دینا ، ہواؤں کے رخ بدلنا ، اور بادل ، جو آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان مسخر ہیں ، ان میں عقلمندوں کے لئے قدرت الٰہی کی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.

آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش ، رات دن کا ہیر پھیر ، کشتیوں کا لوگوں کونفع دینے والی چیزوں کو لئے ہوئے سمندروں میں چلنا آسمان سے پانی اتار کر ، مردہ زمین کو زندہ کر دینا اس میں ہر قسم کے جانوروں کو پھیلا دینا ، ہواؤں کے رخ بدلنا ، اور بادل ، جو آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان مسخر ہیں ، ان میں عقلمندوں کے لئے قدرت الٰہی کی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.

کیا وہ اللہ کے دین کے سوا اور دین کی تلاش میں ہیں؟ حالانکہ تمام آسمانوں والے اور سب زمین والے اللہ تعالٰی ہی کے فرمانبردار ہیں خوشی سے ہوں یا ناخوشی سے ، سب اسی کی طرف لوٹائے جائیں گے ۔

So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?

جنہیں اللہ تعالٰی نے اپنے فضل سے کچھ دے رکھا ہے وہ اس میں اپنی کنجُوسی کو اپنے لئے بہتر خیال نہ کریں بلکہ وہ ان کے لئے نہایت بدتر ہے ؟عنقریب قیامت والے دن یہ اپنی کنجوسی کی چیز کے طوق ڈالے جائیں گے ، آسمانوں اور زمین کی میراث اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کے لئے اور جو کچھ تم کر رہے ہو ، اس سے اللہ تعالٰی آگاہ ہے ۔

And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.

آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہی اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent.

آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش میں اور رات دن کے ہیر پھیر میں یقیناً عقلمندوں کے لئے نشانیاں ہیں

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.

جو اللہ تعالٰی کا ذکر کھڑے اور بیٹھے اور اپنی کروٹوں پر لیٹے ہوئے کرتے ہیں اور آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش میں غور و فکر کرتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں اے ہمارے پروردگار ! تو نے یہ بے فائدہ نہیں بنایا ۔ تو پاک ہے پس ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا لے ۔

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اے لوگو! تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے حق لے کر رسول آگیا ہے پس تم ایمان لاؤ تاکہ تمہارے لئے بہتری ہو اور اگر تم کافر ہوگئے تو اللہ ہی کی ہے ہر وہ چیز جو آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے اور اللہ دانا ہے حکمت والا ہے ۔

O Mankind, the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve - then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise.

یقیناً وہ لوگ کافر ہوگئے جنہوں نے کہاکہ اللہ ہی مسیح ابن مریم ہے ، آپ ان سے کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر اللہ تعالٰی مسیح ابن مریم اور اس کی والدہ اور روئے زمین کے سب لوگوں کو ہلاک کر دینا چاہیے تو کون ہے جو اللہ پر کچھ بھی اختیار رکھتا ہو؟ آسمانوں و زمین اور دونوں کے درمیان کا کل ملک اللہ تعالٰی ہی کا ہے وہ جو چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے

They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.

یہود و نصاریٰ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ کے بیٹے اور اس کے دوست ہیں ، آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ پھر تمہیں تمہارے گناہوں کے باعث اللہ کیوں سزا دیتا ہے ؟ نہیں بلکہ تم بھی اس کی مخلوق میں سے ایک انسان ہو وہ جسے چاہتا ہے بخش دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے عذاب کرتا ہے زمین و آسمان اور ان کے درمیان کی ہرچیز اللہ تعالٰی کی ملکیت ہے اور اسی کی طرف لوٹنا ہے ۔

But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.

کیا تجھے معلوم نہیں کہ اللہ تعالٰی ہی کے لئے زمین و آسمان کی بادشاہت ہے؟ جسے چاہے سزا دے اور جسے چاہے معاف کر دے اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He wills and forgives whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.

اللہ ہی کی سلطنت ہے آسمانوں کی اور زمین کی اور ان چیزوں کی جو ان میں موجود ہیں اور وہ ہر شے پر پوری قدرت رکھتا ہے ۔

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them. And He is over all things competent.

آپ کہئے کہ جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں موجود ہے یہ سب کس کی ملکیت ہے ، آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ سب اللہ ہی کی ملکیت ہے ، اللہ نے مہربانی فرمانا اپنے اوپر لازم فرما لیا ہے تم کو اللہ قیامت کے روز جمع کرے گا ، اس میں کوئی شک نہیں ، جن لوگوں نے اپنے آپ کو گھاٹے میں ڈالا ہے سو وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے ۔

Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To Allah ." He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves [that Day] do not believe.

آپ کہئے کہ کیا اللہ کے سوا ، جو کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے جو کہ کھانے کو دیتا ہے اور اس کو کوئی کھانے نہیں دیتا اور کسی کو معبود قرار دوں آپ فرما دیجئے کہ مجھ کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے میں اسلام قبول کروں اور تو مشرکین میں سے ہرگز نہ ہونا ۔

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah ] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' "

اور ہم نے ایسے ہی طور پر ابراہیم ( علیہ السلام ) کو آسمانوں اور زمین کی مخلوقات دکھلائیں اور تاکہ کامل یقین کرنے والوں سے ہوجائیں ۔

And thus did We show Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth that he would be among the certain [in faith]

وہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا موجد ہے اللہ تعالٰی کے اولاد کہاں ہوسکتی ہے حالانکہ اس کے کوئی بیوی تو ہے نہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی نے ہرچیز کو پیدا کیا اور وہ ہرچیز کو خوب جانتا ہے ۔

[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.

اور اگر ان بستیوں کے رہنے والے ایمان لے آتے اور پرہیزگاری اختیار کرتے تو ہم ان پر آسمان اور زمین کی برکتیں کھول دیتے لیکن انہوں نے تکذیب کی تو ہم نے ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے ان کو پکڑ لیا ۔

And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah , We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning."

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اے لوگو! میں تم سب کی طرف سے اس اللہ تعا لٰی کا بھیجا ہوا ہوں ، جس کی بادشاہی تمام آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے اس کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں وہی زندگی دیتا ہے اور وہی موت دیتا ہے سو اللہ تعالٰی پر ایمان لاؤ اور اس کے نبی امی پر جو کہ اللہ تعالٰی پر اور اس کے احکام پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور ان کا اتباع کرو تاکہ تم راہ پر آجاؤ

Say, [O Muhammad], "O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, [from Him] to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death." So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered prophet, who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him that you may be guided.

اور کیا ان لوگوں نے غور نہیں کیا آسمانوں اور زمین کے عالم میں اور دوسری چیزوں میں جو اللہ نے پیدا کیں ہیں اور اس بات میں کہ ممکن ہے کہ ان کی اجل قریب ہی آپہنچی ہو پھر قرآن کے بعد کون سی بات پر یہ لوگ ایمان لائیں گے؟

Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allah has created and [think] that perhaps their appointed time has come near? So in what statement hereafter will they believe?

یہ لوگ آپ سے قیامت کے متعلق سوال کرتے ہیں کہ اس کا وقوع کب ہوگا آپ فرما دیجئے اس کا علم صرف میرے رب ہی کے پاس ہے اس کے وقت پر اس کو سوائے اللہ کے کوئی اور ظاہر نہ کرے گا وہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں بڑا بھاری ( حادثہ ) ہوگا وہ تم پر محض اچانک آپڑے گی ۔ وہ آپ سے اس طرح پوچھتے ہیں جیسے گویا آپ اس کی تحقیقات کر چکے ہیں آپ فرما دیجئے کہ اس کا علم خاص اللہ ہی کے پاس ہے ۔ لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے ۔

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah , but most of the people do not know."

بلا شبہ اللہ ہی کی سلطنت ہے آسمانوں اور زمین میں وہی جلاتا اور مارتا ہے ، اور تمہارا اللہ کے سوا نہ کوئی یار ہے اور نہ کوئی مددگار ۔

Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.

بلا شبہ رات اور دن کے یکے بعد دیگرے آنے میں اور اللہ تعالٰی نے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں پیدا کیا ہے ان سب میں ان لوگوں کے واسطے دلائل ہیں جو اللہ کا ڈر رکھتے ہیں ۔

Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Allah

آپ کہئے کہ وہ کون ہے جو تم کو آسمان اور زمین سے رزق پہنچاتا ہے یا وہ کون ہے جو کانوں اور آنکھوں پر پورا اختیار رکھتا ہے اور وہ کون ہے جو زندہ کو مردہ سے نکالتا ہے اور مردہ کو زندہ سے نکالتا ہے اور وہ کون ہے جو تمام کاموں کی تدبیر کرتا ہے؟ ضرور وہ یہی کہیں گے کہ ’’ اللہ ‘‘ تو ان سے کہیئے کہ پھر کیوں نہیں ڈرتے ۔

Say, "Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?" They will say, " Allah ," so say, "Then will you not fear Him?"

یاد رکھو کہ جتنی چیزیں آسمانوں میں اور زمین میں ہیں سب اللہ ہی کی ملک ہیں ۔ یاد رکھو کہ اللہ تعالٰی کا وعدہ سچا ہے ۔ لیکن بہت سے آدمی علم ہی نہیں رکھتے ۔

Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ تم غور کرو کہ کیا کیا چیزیں آسمانوں میں اور زمین میں ہیں اور جو لوگ ایمان نہیں لاتے ان کو نشانیاں اور دھمکیاں کچھ فائدہ نہیں پہنچاتیں ۔

Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and earth." But of no avail will be signs or warners to a people who do not believe

زمینوں اور آسمانوں کا علم غیب اللہ تعالٰی ہی کو ہے تمام معاملات کا رجوع بھی اسی کی جانب ہے ، پس تجھے اسی کی عبادت کرنی چاہیے اور اسی پر بھروسہ رکھنا چاہیے اور تم جو کچھ کرتے ہو اس سے اللہ تعالٰی بے خبر نہیں ۔

And to Allah belong the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth and to Him will be returned the matter, all of it, so worship Him and rely upon Him. And your Lord is not unaware of that which you do.

اے میرے پروردگار! تو نے مجھے ملک عطا فرمایا اور تو نے مجھے خواب کی تعبیر سکھلائی اے آسمان و زمین کے پیدا کرنے والے تو دنیا و آخرت میں میرا ولی ( دوست ) اور کارساز ہے ، تو مجھے اسلام کی حالت میں فوت کر اور نیکوں میں ملا دے ۔

My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous."

آسمانوں اور زمین میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں جن سے یہ منہ موڑے گزر جاتے ہیں ۔

And how many a sign within the heavens and earth do they pass over while they, therefrom, are turning away.

اللہ ہی کے لئے زمین اور آسمانوں کی سب مخلوق خوشی اور ناخوشی سے سجدہ کرتی ہے اور ان کے سائے بھی صبح شام ۔

And to Allah prostrates whoever is within the heavens and the earth, willingly or by compulsion, and their shadows [as well] in the mornings and the afternoons.

آپ پوچھئے کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا پروردگار کون ہے؟ کہہ دیجئے! اللہ کہہ دیجئے! کیا تم پھر بھی اس کے سوا اوروں کو حمایتی بنا رہے ہو جو خود اپنی جان کے بھی بھلے برے کا اختیار نہیں رکھتے کہہ دیجئے کہ کیااندھا اور بینا برابر ہو سکتا ہے؟ یا کیا اندھیریا ں اور روشنی برابر ہوسکتی ہے کیا جنہیں یہ اللہ کا شریک ٹھرا رہے ہیں انہوں نے بھی اللہ کی طرح مخلوق پیدا کی ہے کہ ان کی نظر میں پیدائش مشتبہ ہوگئی ہو ، کہہ دیجئے کہ صرف اللہ ہی تمام چیزوں کا خالق ہے وہ اکیلا ہے اور زبردست غالب ہے ۔

Say, "Who is Lord of the heavens and earth?" Say, " Allah ." Say, "Have you then taken besides Him allies not possessing [even] for themselves any benefit or any harm?" Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Or is darkness equivalent to light? Or have they attributed to Allah partners who created like His creation so that the creation [of each] seemed similar to them?" Say, " Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing."

ان کے رسولوں نے انہیں کہا کہ کیا حق تعالٰی کے بارے میں تمہیں شک ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین کا بنانے والا ہے وہ تو تمہیں اس لئے بلا رہا ہے کہ تمہارے تمام گناہ معاف فرما دے اور ایک مقرر وقت تک تمہیں مہلت عطا فرمائے ، انہوں نے کہا کہ تم تو ہم جیسے ہی انسان ہو تم چاہتے ہو کہ ہمیں ان خداؤں کی عبادت سے روک دو جن کی عبادت ہمارے باپ دادا کرتے رہے ہیں اچھا تو ہمارے سامنے کوئی کھلی دلیل پیش کرو ۔

Their messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah , Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority."

آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے سب اسی کا ہے اور اسی کی عبادت لازم ہے ، کیا پھر تم اس کے سوا اوروں سے ڈرتے ہو؟ ۔

And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear?

اور وہ اللہ تعالٰی کے سوا ان کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو آسمانوں اور زمین سے انہیں کچھ بھی تو روزی نہیں دے سکتے اور نہ قدرت رکھتے ہیں ۔

And they worship besides Allah that which does not possess for them [the power of] provision from the heavens and the earth at all, and [in fact], they are unable.

آسمانوں اور زمین کا غیب صرف اللہ تعالٰی ہی کو معلوم ہے اور قیامت کا امر تو ایسا ہی ہے جیسے آنکھ کا جھپکنا ، بلکہ اس سے بھی زیادہ قریب ۔ بیشک اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

And to Allah belongs the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو بھی ہے آپ کا رب سب کو بخوبی جانتا ہے ۔ ہم نے بعض پیغمبروں کو بعض پر بہتری اور برتری دی ہے ۔ اور داود کو زبور ہم نے عطا فرمائی ہے ۔

And your Lord is most knowing of whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And We have made some of the prophets exceed others [in various ways], and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

موسیٰ نے جواب دیا کہ یہ تو تجھے علم ہو چکا ہے کہ آسمان و زمین کے پروردگار ہی نے یہ معجزے دکھانے ، سمجھانے کو نازل فرمائے ہیں ، اے فرعون! میں تو سمجھ رہا ہوں کہ تو یقیناً برباد اور ہلاک کیا گیا ہے ۔

[Moses] said, "You have already known that none has sent down these [signs] except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as evidence, and indeed I think, O Pharaoh, that you are destroyed."

ہم نے ان کے دل مضبوط کر دیئے تھے جبکہ یہ اٹھ کر کھڑے ہوئے اور کہنے لگے کہ ہمارا پروردگار تو وہی ہے جو آسمان و زمین کا پروردگار ہے ، ناممکن ہے کہ ہم اس کے سوا کسی اور کو معبود کو پکاریں اگر ایسا کیا تو ہم نے نہایت ہی غلط بات کہی ۔

And We made firm their hearts when they stood up and said, "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Never will we invoke besides Him any deity. We would have certainly spoken, then, an excessive transgression.

آپ کہہ دیں اللہ ہی کو ان کے ٹھہرے رہنے کی مدت کا بخوبی علم ہے ، آسمانوں اور زمینوں کا غیب صرف اسی کو حاصل ہے وہ کیا ہی اچھا دیکھنے سننے والا ہے سوائے اللہ کے ان کا کوئی مددگار نہیں ، اللہ تعالٰی اپنے حکم میں کسی کو شریک نہیں کرتا ۔

Say, " Allah is most knowing of how long they remained. He has [knowledge of] the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. How Seeing is He and how Hearing! They have not besides Him any protector, and He shares not His legislation with anyone."

میں نے انہیں آسمانوں و زمین کی پیدائش کے وقت موجود نہیں رکھا تھا اور نہ خود ان کی اپنی پیدائش میں اور میں گمراہ کرنے والوں کو اپنا مددگار بنانے والا بھی نہیں ۔

I did not make them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth or to the creation of themselves, and I would not have taken the misguiders as assistants.

آسمانوں کا ، زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے سب کا رب وہی ہے تو اسی کی بندگی کر اور اس کی عبادت پر جم جا ۔ کیا تیرے علم میں اس کا ہم نام ہم پلہ کوئی اور بھی ہے؟

Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?"

آسمان و زمین میں جو بھی ہیں سب کے سب اللہ کے غلام بن کر ہی آنے والے ہیں ۔

There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.

پیغمبر نے کہا میرا پروردگار ہر اس بات کو جو زمین و آسمان میں ہے بخوبی جانتا ہے ، وہ بہت ہی سننے والا اور جاننے والا ہے ۔

The Prophet said, "My Lord knows whatever is said throughout the heaven and earth, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing."

آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو ہے اسی اللہ کا ہے اور جو اس کے پاس ہیں وہ اس کی عبادت سے نہ سرکشی کرتے ہیں اور نہ تھکتے ہیں ۔

To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those near Him are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, nor do they tire.

آپ نے فرمایا نہیں درحقیقت تم سب کا پروردگار تو وہ ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین کا مالک ہے جس نے انہیں پیدا کیا ہے میں تو اسی بات کا گواہ اور قائل ہوں ۔

He said, "[No], rather, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth who created them, and I, to that, am of those who testify.

کیا آپ نے نہیں جانا کہ آسمان و زمین کی ہرچیز اللہ کے علم میں ہے ۔ یہ سب لکھی ہوئی کتاب میں محفوظ ہے ۔ اللہ تعالٰی پر تو یہ امر بالکل آسان ہے ۔

Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and earth? Indeed, that is in a Record. Indeed that, for Allah , is easy.

اللہ نور ہے آسمانوں کا اور زمین کا اس کے نور کی مثال مثل ایک طاق کے ہے جس میں چراغ ہو اور چراغ شیشہ کی قندیل میں ہو اور شیشہ مثل چمکتے ہوئے روشن ستارے کے ہو وہ چراغ ایک بابرکت درخت زیتون کے تیل سے جلایا جاتا ہو جو درخت نہ مشرقی ہے نہ مغربی خود وہ تیل قریب ہے کہ آپ ہی روشنی دینے لگے اگرچہ اسے آگ نہ بھی چھوئے ، نور پر نور ہے ، اللہ تعالٰی اپنے نور کی طرف رہنمائی کرتا ہے جسے چاہے لوگوں ( کے سمجھانے ) کو یہ مثالیں اللہ تعالٰی بیان فرما رہا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز کے حال سے بخوبی واقف ہے ۔

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.
