And you will surely find them the most greedy of people for life - [even] more than those who associate others with Allah . One of them wishes that he could be granted life a thousand years, but it would not remove him in the least from the [coming] punishment that he should be granted life. And Allah is Seeing of what they do.
Bulkay sab say ziyada duniya ki zindagi ka harees aey nabi! Aap enhin ko paayen gay. Yeh hirs-e-zindagi mein mushrikon say bhi ziyada hai inn mein say to her shaks aik aik hazar saal ki umar chahata hai go yeh umar diya jana bhi enhen azab say nahi chura sakta Allah Taalaa inn kay kaamon ko bakhoobi dekh raha hai.
और तुम उनको ज़िंदगी का सबसे ज़्यादा लालची पाओगे, उन लोगों से भी ज़्यादा जो मुशरिक हैं, उन में से हर एक चाहता है कि वह हज़ार बरस की उम्र पाए; हालाँकि उतना जीना भी उसको अज़ाब से बचा नहीं सकता, और अल्लाह देखता है जो कुछ वे कर रहे हैं।
That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
Yeh jamat to guzar chuki jo unhon ney kaha woh unn kay liye hai aur jo tum kero gay woh tumharay liye hai. Unn kay aemaal kay baray mein tum nahi poochay jao gay.
यह एक जमात थी जो गुज़र गई, उसको मिलेगा जो उसने कमाया और तुमको मिलेगा जो तुमने कमाया, और तुमसे उनके किए हुए की पूछ न होगी।
That is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
Yeh ummat hai jo guzar chuki jo unhon ney kiya unn kay liye hai aur jo tum ney kiya tumharay liye tum unn kay aemaal kay baray mein sawal na kiye jao gay.
यह एक जमात थी जो गुज़र गई, उसको मिलेगा जो उसने कमाया और तुमको मिलेगा जो तुमने कमाया, और तुमसे उनके किए हुए की पूछ न होगी।
We have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muhammad], toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces toward it [in prayer]. Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture well know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do.
Hum aap kay chehray ko baar baar aasman ki taraf uthtay uthtay huye dekh rahey hain abb hum aap ko uss qiblay ki janib mutawajja keren gay jiss say aap khush hojayen aap apna mun masjid-e-haram ki taraf pher len aur aap jahan kahin hon apna mun ussi taraf phera keren. Ehal-e-kitab ko iss baat kay Allah ki taraf say bar haq honey ka qataee ilm hai aur Allah Taalaa unn aemaal say ghafil nahi jo yeh kertay hain.
हम तुम्हारे चेहरे का बार-बार आसमान की तरफ़ उठना देख रहे हैं, पस हम तुमको उसी क़िबले की तरफ़ फेर देंगे जिसको तुम पसंद करते हो, अब अपना रुख़ मस्जिदे-हराम की तरफ़ फेर दो, और तुम जहाँ कहीं भी हो अपने रुख़ को उसी तरफ़ करो, और अहले-किताब ख़ूब जानते हैं कि यह हक़ है और उनके रब की जानिब से है, और अल्लाह बेख़बर नहीं उससे जो वे कर रहे हैं।
If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allah , their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do.
Tumhen agar bhalaee milay to yeh na khush hotay hain haan! Agar buraee phonchay to khush hotay hain tum agar sabar kero aur perhezgari kero to inn ka makar tumhen kuch nuksan na dey ga. Allah Taalaa ney inn kay aemaal ka ehata ker rakha hai.
अगर तुमको कोई अच्छी हालत पेश आती है तो उनको रंज होता है, और अगर तुम पर कोई मुसीबत आती है तो वे उससे ख़ुश होते हैं, अगर तुम सब्र करो और अल्लाह से डरो तो उनकी कोई तदबीर तुमको नुक़सान नहीं पहुँचा सकेगी, जो कुछ ये कर रहे हैं वह सब अल्लाह के इहाते में है।
They are [varying] degrees in the sight of Allah , and Allah is Seeing of whatever they do.
Allah Taalaa kay pass inn kay alag alag darjay hain aur inn kay tamam aemaal ko Allah bakhoobi dekh raha hai.
अल्लाह के यहाँ उनके दर्जे अलग-अलग होंगे, और अल्लाह देख रहा है जो वे करते हैं।
The repentance accepted by Allah is only for those who do wrong in ignorance [or carelessness] and then repent soon after. It is those to whom Allah will turn in forgiveness, and Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
Allah Taalaa sirf unhi logon ki tauba qabool farmata hai jo ba waja nadani koi buraee ker guzren phir jald uss sa baaz aajayen aur tauba keren to Allah Taalaa bhi unn ki tauba qabool kerta hai Allah Taalaa beray ilm wala hikmat wala hai.
तौबा जिन की क़बूल करना अल्लाह के ज़िम्मे है वह उन लोगों की है जो बुरी हरकत नादानी से कर बैठते हैं फिर जल्द ही तौबा कर लेते हैं, वही हैं जिनकी तौबा अल्लाह क़बूल करता है, और अल्लाह जानने वाला, हिकमत वाला है।
But repentance is not [accepted] of those who [continue to] do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "Indeed, I have repented now," or of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.
Unn ki tauba nahi jo buraiyan kertay chalay jayen yahan tak kay jab inn mein say kissi kay pass maut aajaye to keh dey kay mein ney abb tauba ki aur unn ki tauba bhi qabool nahi jo kufur per hi marr jayen yehi log hain jin kay liye hum ney alam naak azab tayyar ker rakha hai.
और ऐसे लोगों की तौबा क़बूल नहीं है जो बराबर गुनाह करते रहें, यहाँ तक कि जब उनमें से किसी की मौत का वक़्त आजाए तब वह कहेः अब मैं तौबा करता हूँ, और न उन लोगों की तौबा (क़ाबिले-क़बूल है) जो इस हाल में मरते हैं कि वह काफ़िर हैं, उनके लिए तो हमने दर्दनाक अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है।
They conceal [their evil intentions and deeds] from the people, but they cannot conceal [them] from Allah , and He is with them [in His knowledge] when they spend the night in such as He does not accept of speech. And ever is Allah , of what they do, encompassing.
Woh logon say to chup jatay hain ( lekin ) Allah Taalaa say nahi chup saktay woh raaton kay waqt jabkay Allah ki na pasndeedah baaton kay khufia mashwaray kertay hain uss waqt bhi Allah unn kay pass hota hai unn kay tamam aemaal ko woh gheray huye hai.
वे इंसानों से तो शरमाते हैं और अल्लाह से नहीं शरमाते; हालाँकि वह उनके साथ होता है जबकि वे सरगोशियाँ करते हैं उस बात की जिससे अल्लाह राज़ी नहीं, और जो कुछ वे करते हैं अल्लाह उसका इहाता किए हुए है।
And you see many of them hastening into sin and aggression and the devouring of [what is] unlawful. How wretched is what they have been doing.
Aap dekhen gay kay inn mein say aksar gunah kay kaamon ki taraf aur zulm-o-ziyadti ki taraf aur maal haram khaney ki taraf lapak rahey hain jo kuch yeh ker rahey hain woh nihayat buray kaam hain.
और आप उनमें से अकसर को देखोगे कि वे गुनाह और ज़ुल्म और हराम खाने पर दौड़ते हैं, कैसे बुरे काम हैं जो वे कर रहे हैं।
And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do.
Aur agar yeh log toraat aur injeel aur inn ki janib jo kuch Allah Taalaa ki taraf say nazil farmaya gaya hai inn kay pooray paband rehtay to yeh log apney upper say aur neechay say roziyan patay aur khatay aik jamat to inn mein say darmiyana ravish ki hai baqi inn mein say boht say logon kay buray aemaal hain.
और अगर वे तौरात और इंजील की पाबंदी करते और उसकी जो उन पर उनके रब की तरफ़ से उतारा गया है तो वे खाते अपने ऊपर से और अपने क़दमों के नीचे से, कुछ लोग उनमें से सीधी राह पर हैं लेकिन ज़्यादा लोग उनमें से ऐसे हैं जो बहुत बुरा कर रहे हैं।
And they thought there would be no [resulting] punishment, so they became blind and deaf. Then Allah turned to them in forgiveness; then [again] many of them became blind and deaf. And Allah is Seeing of what they do.
Aur yeh samajh bethay kay koi pakar na hogi pus andhay behray bann bethay phir Allah Taalaa ney unn ki tauba qabool ki iss kay baad bhi unn mein say aksar andhay behray hogaye. Allah Taalaa unn kay aemaal ko ba-khoobi dekhney wala hai.
और ख़्याल किया कि कोई ख़राबी न होगी पस वे अंधे और बहरे बन गए, फिर अल्लाह ने उन पर तवज्जोह की फिर उनमें से बहुत-से अंधे और बहरे बन गए, और अल्लाह देखता है जो कुछ वे कर रहे हैं।
Then why, when Our punishment came to them, did they not humble themselves? But their hearts became hardened, and Satan made attractive to them that which they were doing.
So jab unn ko humari saza phonchi thi to unhon ney aajzi kiyon nahi ikhtiyar ki? Lekin unn kay quloob sakht hogaye aur shetan ney unn kay aemaal ko unn kay khayal mein aaraasta ker diya.
पस जब हमारी तरफ़ से उन पर सख़्ती आई तो क्यों न वह गिड़गिड़ाए; बल्कि उनके दिल सख़्त हो गए और शैतान उनके अमल को उनकी नज़र में ख़ुशनुमा करके दिखाता रहा।
That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whomever He wills of His servants. But if they had associated others with Allah , then worthless for them would be whatever they were doing.
Allah ki hidayat hi hai jiss kay zariye apney bandon mein say jiss ko chahaye uss ko hidayat kerta hai aur agar farzan yeh hazraat bhi shirk kertay to jo kuch yeh aemaal kertay thay woh sab ikaarat ho jatay.
यह अल्लाह की हिदायत है जिससे वह रहनुमाई करता है अपने बंदों में से जिसकी चाहता है, और अगर वे शिर्क करते तो ज़ाया हो जाता जो कुछ उन्होंने किया था।
And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah , lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.
Aur gaali mat do unn ko jin ki yeh log Allah Taalaa ko chor ker ibadat kertay hain kiyon kay phir woh ba-raah-e-jahal hadd say guzar ker Allah Taalaa ki shaan mein gustakhi keren gay hum ney iss tarah her tareeqay walon ko unn ka amal marghoob bana rakha hai. Phir apney rab hi kay pass inn ko jana hai so woh inn ko batla dey ga jo kuch bhi woh kiya kertay thay.
और अल्लाह के सिवा जिनको ये लोग पुकारते हैं उनको गाली न दो वर्ना ये लोग हद से गुज़र कर जिहालत की वजह से अल्लाह को गालियाँ देने लगेंगे, इसी तरह हमने हर गिरोह की नज़र में उसके अमल को ख़ुशनुमा बना दिया है, फिर उन सबको अपने रब की तरफ़ लौटना है, उस वक़्त अल्लाह उन्हें बता देगा जो वे करते थे।
And is one who was dead and We gave him life and made for him light by which to walk among the people like one who is in darkness, never to emerge therefrom? Thus it has been made pleasing to the disbelievers that which they were doing.
Aisa shaks jo pehlay murda tha phir hum ney uss ko zinda ker diya aur hum ney uss ko aik aisa noor dey diya kay woh iss ko liye huye aadmiyon mein chalta phirta hai. Kiya aisa shaks uss shaks ki tarah ho sakta hai? Jo tareekiyon say nikal hi nahi pata. Issi tarah kafiron ko unn kay aemaal khushnuma maloom hua kertay hain.
क्या वह शख़्स जो मुर्दा था फिर हमने उसको ज़िंदगी दी और हमने उसको एक रौशनी दी कि उसके साथ वह लोगों में चलता है वह उस शख़्स की तरह हो सकता है जो तारीकियों में पड़ा है जिनसे वह निकलने वाला नहीं, इस तरह काफ़िरों की नज़र में उनके करतूत ख़ुशनुमा बना दिए गए हैं।
For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord. And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.
Inn logon kay wastay inn kay rab kay pass salamti ka ghar hai aur Allah Taalaa inn say mohabbat rakhta hai inn kay aemaal kay waja say.
उन्हीं के लिए सलामती का घर है उनके रब के पास और वह उनका मददगार है उस अमल की वजह से जो वे ख़ुद करते रहे।
And for all are degrees from what they have done. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do.
Aur her aik kay liye unn kay aemaal kay sabab darjay milen gay aur aap ka rab inn kay aemaal say bey khabar nahi hai.
और हर शख़्स का दर्जा है उसके अमल के लिहाज़ से, और आपका रब लोगों के आमाल से बेख़बर नहीं।
So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing.
Pus haq zahir hogaya aur unhon ney jo kuch banaya tha sab jata raah.
पस हक़ ज़ाहिर हो गया और जो कुछ उन्होंने बनाया था बातिल होकर रह गया।
Indeed, those [worshippers] - destroyed is that in which they are [engaged], and worthless is whatever they were doing."
Yeh log jiss kaam mein lagay hain yeh tabah kiya jayega aur inn kay yeh kaam mehaz bey bunyad hai.
ये लोग जिस काम में लगे हुए हैं वह बरबाद होने वाला है और ये जो कुछ कर रहे हैं सब झूठा है।
Those who denied Our signs and the meeting of the Hereafter - their deeds have become worthless. Are they recompensed except for what they used to do?
Aur yeh log jinon ney humari aayaton ko aur qayamat kay paish aaney ko jhutlaya unn kay sab kaam ghaarat gaye. Inn ko wohi saza di jayegi jo kuch yeh kertay thay.
और जिन्होंने हमारी निशानियों को और आख़िरत की मुलाक़ात को झुठलाया उनके आमाल ग़ारत हो गए और वे बदले में वही पाएंगे जो वे करते थे।
And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing.
Aur achay achay naam Allah hi kay liye hain so unn naamon say Allah hi ko mossom kiya kero aur aisay logon say talluq bhi na rakho jo uss kay naamon mein kuj ravi kertay hain unn logon ko unn kay kiye ki zaroor saza milay gi.
और अस्मा-ए-हुस्ना (अच्छे-अच्छे नाम) अल्लाह ही के हैं लिहाज़ा उसको उन्हीं नामों से पुकारो, और उन लोगों को छोड़ दो जो उसके नामों में टेढ़ा रास्ता इख़्तियार करते हैं, वे जो कुछ कर रहे हैं उसका बदला उन्हें दिया जाएगा।
And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah . And if they cease - then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do.
Aur tum inn say iss hadd tak laro kay inn mein fasad aqeedah na rahey. Aur deen Allah hi ka hojaye phir agar yeh baaz aajayen to Allah Taalaa inn aemaal ko khoob dekhta hai.
और उनसे लड़ो यहाँ तक कि कोई फ़ित्ना बाक़ी न रहे और दीन सारा का सारा अल्लाह ही के लिए हो जाए, फिर अगर वे बाज़ आ जाएं तो अल्लाह उनके कामों को देखने वाला है।
And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And Allah is encompassing of what they do.
Unn logon jaisay na bano jo itratay huye aur logon mein khud numaee kertay huye apney gharon say chalay aur Allah ki raah say roktay thay jo kuch woh ker rahey hain Allah ussay gher lenay wala hai.
और उन लोगों की तरह मत बनो जो अपने घरों से अकड़ते हुए और लोगों को दिखाते हुए निकले और अल्लाह की राह से रोकते हैं; हालाँकि वे जो कुछ कर रहे हैं अल्लाह उनका इहाता किए हुए है।
They have exchanged the signs of Allah for a small price and averted [people] from His way. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
Enhon ney Allah ki aayaton ko boht kam qeematon mein baich diya aur uss ki raah say roka. Boht bura hai jo yeh ker rahey hain.
उन्होंने अल्लाह की आयतों को थोड़ी क़ीमत पर बेच दिया फिर उन्होंने अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोका, बहुत बुरा है जो वे कर रहे हैं।
Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing.
Aur jo kuch chota bara enhon ney kharach kiya aur jitney maidan inn ko tey kerney paray yeh sab bhi inn kay naam likha gaya takay Allah Taalaa inn kay kaamon ka achay say acha badla dey.
और जो छोटा या बड़ा ख़र्च उन्होंने किया और जो मैदान उन्होंने तय किए वे सब उनके लिए लिखा गया; ताकि अल्लाह उनके अमल का अच्छे से अच्छा बदला दे।
And when affliction touches man, he calls upon Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We remove from him his affliction, he continues [in disobedience] as if he had never called upon Us to [remove] an affliction that touched him. Thus is made pleasing to the transgressors that which they have been doing
Aur jab insan ko koi takleef phonchti hai to hum ko pukarta hai letay bhi bethay bhi kharay bhi. Phir jab hum uss ki takleef uss say hata detay hain to woh aisa hojata hai kay goya uss ney apni takleef kay liye jo ussay phonchi thi kabhi humen pukara hi na tha inn hadd say guzarney walon kay aemaal ko unn kay liye issi tarah khushnuma bana diya gaya hai.
और इंसान को जब कोई तकलीफ़ पहुँचती है तो वे खड़े और बैठे और लेटे हमको पुकारता है, फिर जब हम उससे उसकी तकलीफ़ दूर कर देते हैं तो वह ऐसा हो जाता है गोया उसने कभी अपने किसी बुरे वक़्त पर हमको पुकारा ही न था, इस तरह हद से गुज़र जाने वालों के लिए उनके आमाल ख़ुशनुमा बना दिए गए हैं।
Those are the ones for whom there is not in the Hereafter but the Fire. And lost is what they did therein, and worthless is what they used to do.
Haan yehi woh log hain jin kay liye aakhirat mein siwaye aag kay aur kuch nahi aur jo kuch enhon ney yahan kiya hoga wahan sab ikarat hai aur jo kuch inn kay aemaal thay sab barbad honey walay hain.
यही लोग हैं जिनके लिए आख़िरत में आग के सिवा कुछ नहीं है, उन्होंने दुनिया में जो कुछ बनाया था वह बरबाद हुआ और ख़राब हो गया जो कुछ उन्होंने कमाया था।
And his people came hastening to him, and before [this] they had been doing evil deeds. He said, "O my people, these are my daughters; they are purer for you. So fear Allah and do not disgrace me concerning my guests. Is there not among you a man of reason?"
Aur uss ki qom dorti hui uss kay pass aa phonchi woh to pehlay hi say bad kaariyon mein mubtila thi loot ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha aey qom kay logo! Yeh hain meri betiyan jo tumharay liye boht hi pakeeza hain Allah say daro aur mujhay meray mehamnon kay baray mein ruswa na kero. Kiya tum mein say aik bhi bhala aadmi nahi.
और उसकी क़ौम के लोग दौड़ते हुए उसके पास आए, और वे पहले से बुरे काम कर रहे थे, लूत (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! ये मेरी बेटियाँ हैं वे तुम्हारे लिए ज़्यादा पाकीज़ा हैं, पस तुम अल्लाह से डरो और मुझको मेरे मेहमानों के सामने रुसवा न करो, क्या तुम में कोई भला आदमी नहीं है।
And indeed, each [of the believers and disbelievers] - your Lord will fully compensate them for their deeds. Indeed, He is Acquainted with what they do.
Yaqeenan inn mein say her aik jab unn kay roo baroo jayega to aap ka rab ussay uss kay aemaal ka poora poora badla dey ga. Be-shak woh jo ker rahey hain unn say woh ba khabar hai.
और यक़ीनन आपका रब हर एक को उसके आमाल का पूरा बदला देगा, वह बाख़बर है उससे जो वे कर रहे हैं।
And there came a company of travelers; then they sent their water drawer, and he let down his bucket. He said, "Good news! Here is a boy." And they concealed him, [taking him] as merchandise; and Allah was knowing of what they did.
Aur aik qafila aaya aur unhon ney apney pani laney walay ko bheja uss ney apna dol latkaya kehney laga waah waah khushi ki baat hai yeh to aik larka hai unhon ney issay maal-e-tijarat qarar dey ker chupa diya aur Allah Taalaa iss say ba khabar tha jo woh ker rahey thay.
और एक क़ाफ़िला आया तो उन्होंने अपना पानी भरने वाला भेजा, उसने अपना डोल लटकाया, उसने कहाः ख़ुश-ख़बरी हो! यह तो एक लड़का है और उसको तिजारत का माल समझ कर महफ़ूज़ कर लिया, और अल्लाह ख़ूब जानता था जो वे कर रहे थे।
And when they entered upon Joseph, he took his brother to himself; he said, "Indeed, I am your brother, so do not despair over what they used to do [to me]."
Yeh sab jab yousuf kay pass phonch gaye to uss ney apney bhai ko apney pass bitha liya aur kaha kay mein tera bhai ( yousuf ) hun pus yeh jo kuch kertay rahey uss ka kuch ranj na ker.
और जब वे यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) के पास पहुँचे तो उसने अपने भाई को अपने पास रखा, कहा कि मैं तुम्हारा भाई यूसुफ़ हूँ पस ग़मगीन न हो उससे जो वे कर रहे हैं।
About what they used to do.
Her uss cheez ki jo woh kertay thay.
जो कुछ वे करते थे।
Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do.
Tumharay pass jo kuch hai sab faani hai aur Allah Taalaa kay pass jo kuch hai baqi hai. Aur sabar kerney walon ko hum bhalay aemaal ka behtareen badla zaroor ata faramayen gay.
जो कुछ तुम्हारे पास है वह ख़त्म हो जाएगा और जो कुछ अल्लाह के पास है वह बाक़ी रहने वाला है, और जो लोग सब्र करेंगे हम उनके अच्छे कामों का अज्र उनको ज़रूर देंगे।
Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.
Jo shaks nek amal keray mard ho ya aurat lekin ba-eman ho to hum ussay yaqeenan nihayat behtar zindagi ata farmyen gay. Aur unn kay nek aemaal ka behtareen badla bhi unhen zaroor zaroor den gay.
जो कोई नेक काम करेगा चाहे वह मर्द हो या औरत, बशर्तेकि वह मोमिन हो तो हम उसको ज़िंदगी देंगे एक अच्छी ज़िंदगी, और जो कुछ वे करते रहे हैं उसका हम उनको बेहतरीन बदला देंगे।
Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.
Yaqeenan yeh quran woh raasta dikhata hai jo boht hi seedha hai aue eman walon ko jo nek aemaal kertay hain iss baat ki khushkhabri deta hai kay unn kay liye boht bara ajar hai.
बेशक यह क़ुरआन वह राह दिखाता है जो बिल्कुल सीधी है और वह ख़ुश-ख़बरी देता है ईमान वालों को जो अच्छे अमल करते हैं कि उनके लिए बड़ा अज्र है।
[He has made it] straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward
Bulkay her tarah say theek thaak rakha takay apney pass ki saza sakht saza say hoshiyar ker dey aur eman laney aur nek amal kerney walon ko khushkhabriyan suna dey kay unn kay liye behtareen badla hai.
ठीक और दूरुस्त, ताकि एक कठोर आपदा से सावधान कर दे जो उस की ओर से आ पड़ेगी। और मोमिनों को, जो अच्छे कर्म करते हैं, शुभ सूचना दे दे कि उन के लिए अच्छा बदला है;
As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force.
Kashti to chand miskeeno ki thi jo daya mein kaam kaaj kertay thay. Mein ney uss mein kuch tor phor kerney ka irada ker liya kiyon kay unn kay aagay aik badshah tha jo her aik ( sahih saalim ) kashti ko jabran zabt ler leta tha.
वह जो नौका थी, कुछ निर्धन लोगों की थी जो दरिया में काम करते थे, तो मैंने चाहा कि उसे ऐबदार कर दूँ, क्योंकि आगे उन के परे एक सम्राट था, जो प्रत्येक नौका को ज़बरदस्ती छीन लेता था
They cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command.
Kiss baat mein Allah per paish dasti nahi kertay bulkay uss kay farmaan per kaar band hain.
उस से आगे बढ़कर नहीं बोलते और उन के आदेश का पालन करते हैं
On a Day when their tongues, their hands and their feet will bear witness against them as to what they used to do.
Jabkay unn kay muqablay mein unn ki zabaney aur unn kay hath paon unn kay aemaal ki gawahee den gay.
जिस दिन कि उन की ज़बानें और उन के हाथ और उन के पाँव उन के विरुद्ध उस की गवाही देंगे, जो कुछ वे करते रहे थे,
He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do?
Aap ney farmaya! Mujhay kiya khabar kay woh pehlay kiya kertay rahey?
उस ने कहा, "मुझे क्या मालूम कि वे क्या करते रहे हैं?
My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do."
Meray perwerdigar! Mujhay aur meray gharaney ko iss ( wabal ) say bacha ley jo yeh kertay hain.
ऐ मेरे रब! मुझे और मेरे लोगों को, जो कुछ ये करते हैं उस के परिणाम से, बचा ले।"
Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it; and whoever comes with an evil deed - then those who did evil deeds will not be recompensed except [as much as] what they used to do.
Jo shaks neki laye ga uss uss say behtar milay ga aur jo buraee ley ker aaye ga to aisay bad-aemaali kernay walon ko unn kay unhi aemaal ka badla diya jaye ga jo woh kertay thay.
जो कोई अच्छा आचरण लेकर आया उसे उस से उत्तम प्राप्त होगा, और जो बुरा आचरण लेकर आया तो बुराइयाँ करने वालों को तो बस वही मिलेगा जो वे करते थे
Or do those who do evil deeds think they can outrun Us? Evil is what they judge.
Kiya jo log burayiyan ker rahey hain unhon ney yeh samajh rakha hai kay woh humaray qaboo say bahir ho jayen gay yeh log kaisi buri tajweezen ker rahen hain.
या उन लोगों ने, जो बुरे कर्म करते हैं, यह समझ रखा है कि वे हमारे क़ाबू से बाहर निकल जाएँगे? बहुत बुरा है जो फ़ैसला वे कर रहे हैं
And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.
Aur jo log eman laye aur unhon ney mutabiq-e-sunnat kaam kiye hum unn kay tamam gunahon ko unn say door ker den gay aur unhen unn kay nek aemaal kay behtareen badlay den gay.
और जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए हम उन से उन की बुराइयों को दूर कर देंगे और उन्हें अवश्य ही उस का प्रतिदान प्रदान करेंगे, जो कुछ अच्छे कर्म वे करते रहे होंगे
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.
Koi nafs nahi janta jo kuch hum ney unn ki aankhon ki thandak unn kay liye posheeda ker rakhi hai jo kuch kertay thay yeh uss ka badla hai.
फिर कोई प्राणी नहीं जानता आँखों की जो ठंडक उस के लिए छिपा रखी गई है उस के बदले में देने के ध्येय से जो वे करते रहे होंगे
As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do.
Jin logon ney eman qabool kiya aur nek aemaal bhi kiye unn kay liye humeshgi wali jannaten hain mehmandari hai unn kay aemaal kay badlay jo woh kertay thay.
रहे वे लोग जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए, उन के लिए जो कर्म वे करते रहे उस के बदले में आतिथ्य स्वरूप रहने के बाग़ हैं
They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.
Jo kuch suleman chahatay woh jinnat tayyar ker detay maslan qilay aur mujassmay aur hozon kay barabar lagan aur choolhon per jami hui mazboot deygen aey aal-e-dawood iss kay shukriya mein nek amal kero meray bandon mein say shukar guzar banday kum hi hotay hain.
वे उस के लिए बनाते, जो कुछ वह चाहता - बड़े-बड़े भवन, प्रतिमाएँ, बड़े हौज़ जैसे थाल और जमी रहने वाली देगें - "ऐ दाऊद के लोगों! कर्म करो, कृतज्ञता दिखाने के रूप में। मेरे बन्दों में कृतज्ञ थोड़े ही हैं।"
Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and attribute to Him equals." But they will [all] confide regret when they see the punishment; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except for what they used to do?
( Iss kay jawab mein ) yeh kamzor log inn mutakabbiron say kahen gay ( nahi nahi ) bulkay din raat makar-o-faraib say humen Allah kay sath kufur kerney aur uss kay shareek muqarrar kerney ka tumhara hukum dena humari bey emaani ka baees hua aur azab ko dekhtay hi sab ka sab dil mein pashemaan ho rahey hongay aur kafiron ki gardano mein hum toq daal den gay unhen sirf unn kay kiyey keraye aemaal ka badla diya jayega.
वे लोग कमज़ोर समझे गए थे बड़े बनने वालों से कहेंगे, "नहीं, बल्कि रात-दिन की मक्कारी थी जब तुम हम से कहते थे कि हम अल्लाह के साथ कुफ़्र करें और दूसरों को उस का समकक्ष ठहराएँ।" जब वे यातना देखेंगे तो मन ही मन पछताएँगे और हम उन लोगों की गरदनों में जिन्होंने कुफ़्र की नीति अपनाई, तौक़ डाल देंगे। वे वही तो बदले में पाएँगे, जो वे करते रहे थे?
That Allah may remove from them the worst of what they did and reward them their due for the best of what they used to do.
Takay Allah Taalaa unn say unn kay buray amalon ko door ker dey aur jo nek kaam unhon ney kiyey hain unn ka acha badla ata farmaye.
ताकि जो निकृष्टतम कर्म उन्होंने किए अल्लाह उन (के बुरे प्रभाव) को उन से दूर कर दे। और जो उत्तम कर्म वे करते रहे उस का उन्हें बदला प्रदान करे
