[Who is] obligated not to say about Allah except the truth. I have come to you with clear evidence from your Lord, so send with me the Children of Israel."
Meray liye yehi shayaan hai kay ba-juz sach kay Allah ki taraf koi baat mansoob na keroonmein tumharay pass tumhara rab ki taraf say aik bari daleel bhi laya hun so tu bani israeel ko meray sath bhej dey.
पाबंद हूँ इस बात का कि अल्लाह के नाम पर कोई बात हक़ के सिवा ना कहूँ, मैं तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से खुली हुई निशानी लेकर आया हूँ पस तुम बनी-इस्राईल को मेरे साथ जाने दो।
And when regret overcame them and they saw that they had gone astray, they said, "If our Lord does not have mercy upon us and forgive us, we will surely be among the losers."
Aur jab naadim huye aur maloom hua kay waqaee woh log gumrahi mein parr gaye to kehney lagay kay agar humara rab hum per reham na keray aur humara gunah moaf na keray to hum bilkul gaye guzray hojayen gay.
और जब वे पछताए और उन्होंने महसूस किया कि वे गुमराही में पड़ गए थे तो उन्होंने कहा कि अगर हमारे रब ने हम पर रहम न किया और हम को न बख़्शा तो यक़ीनन हम बरबाद हो जाएंगे।
And We divided them into twelve descendant tribes [as distinct] nations. And We inspired to Moses when his people implored him for water, "Strike with your staff the stone," and there gushed forth from it twelve springs. Every people knew its watering place. And We shaded them with clouds and sent down upon them manna and quails, [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not, but they were [only] wronging themselves.
Aur hum ney unn ko baara khaandanon mein taqseem ker kay sab ki alag alag jamat muqarrar ker di aur hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko hukum diya jabkay unn ki qom ney unn say pani maanga kay apney asa ko falan pathar per maaro pus foran uss say baara chashmay phoot niklay. Her her shaks ney apney pani peenay ka moqa maloom ker liya aur hum ney unn per abar ko saya figan kiya aur unn ko mann-o-salwa ( taran jabeen aur bateren ) phonchaen khao nafees cheezon say jo hum ney tum ko di hain aur unhon ney humara koi nuksan nahi kiya lekin apna hi nuksan kertay thay.
और हमने उनको बारह घरानों में तक़सीम करके उन्हें अलग-अलग गिरोह बना दिया, और हमने मूसा को हुक्म भेजा उस वक़्त जब उसकी क़ौम ने पानी माँगा कि फ़लाँ पत्थर पर अपनी लाठी मारो तो उससे बारह चश्मे फूट पड़े, हर गिरोह ने अपना पानी पीने का ठिकाना मालूम कर लिया, और हमने उन पर बदलियों का साया किया और हमने उन पर मन्न व सलवा उतारा, खाओ पाकीज़ा चीज़ों में से जो हमने तुमको दी हैं, और उन्होंने हमारा कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ा बल्कि वे ख़ुद अपना ही नुक़सान करते रहे।
And when Our verses are recited to them, they say, "We have heard. If we willed, we could say [something] like this. This is not but legends of the former peoples."
Aur jab inn kay samney humari aayaten parhi jati hain to kehtay hain kay hum ney sunn liya agar hum chahayen to iss kay barabar hum bhi keh den yeh to kuch bhi nahi sirf bey sanad baaten hain jo pehlon say manqool chali aarahi hain.
और जब उनके सामने हमारी आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं तो कहते हैं कि हमने सुन लिया, अगर हम चाहें तो हम भी ऐसा ही कलाम पेश कर दें, यह तो बस अगलों की कहानियाँ हैं।
Say to those who have disbelieved [that] if they cease, what has previously occurred will be forgiven for them. But if they return [to hostility] - then the precedent of the former [rebellious] peoples has already taken place.
Aap inn kafiron say keh dijiye! Kay agar yeh log baaz aajayen to inn kay saray gunah jo pehlay ho chukay hain sab moaf ker diye jayen gay aur agar apni wohi aadat rakhen gay to ( kuffaar ) sabeyqeen kay haq mein qanoon nafiz ho chuka hai.
इनकार करने वालों से कह दीजिए कि अगर वे बाज़ आजाएं तो जो कुछ हो चुका है वह उन से माफ़ कर दिया जाएगा, और अगर वे फिर वही करेंगे तो हमारा मामला अगलों के साथ गुज़र चुका है।
If good befalls you, it distresses them; but if disaster strikes you, they say, "We took our matter [in hand] before," and turn away while they are rejoicing.
Aap ko agar koi bhalaee mill jaye to unhen bura lagata hai aur koi buraee phonch jaye to yeh kehtay hain hum ney to apna moamla pehlay say hi durust ker liya tha phir to baray hi itratay huye lottay hain.
अगर आपको कोई अच्छाई पेश आती है तो उनको दुख होता है, और अगर आपको कोई मुसीबत पहुँचती है तो कहते हैं कि हमने पहले ही अपना बचाव कर लिया था और वे ख़ुश होकर लौटते हैं।
Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you - We will punish another faction because they were criminals.
Tum bahaney na banao yaqeenan tum apney eman kay baad bey eman hogaye agar hum tum mein say kuch logon say dar guzar bhi kerlen to kuch logon ko unn kay jurm ki sangeen saza bhi den gay.
बहाने मत बनाओ, तुमने ईमान लाने के बाद कुफ़्र किया है, अगर हम माफ़ कर दें तुम में से एक गिरोह को तो दूसरे गिरोह को तो ज़रूर सज़ा देंगे क्योंकि वे मुजरिम हैं।
They will make excuses to you when you have returned to them. Say, "Make no excuse - never will we believe you. Allah has already informed us of your news. And Allah will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger; then you will be taken back to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do."
Yeh log tumharay samney uzur paish keren gay jab tum inn kay pass wapis jaogay. Aap keh dijiye kay yeh uzur paish mat kero hum kabhi tum ko sacha na samjhen gay Allah Taalaa hum ko tumhari khabar dey chuka hai aur aaenda bhi Allah aur uss ka rasool tumhari kaar guzari dekh len gay phir aisay kay pass lotaye jaogay jo posheeda aur zahir sab ka jannay wala hai phir woh tum ko bata dey ga jo kuch tum kertay thay.
तुम जब उनकी तरफ़ पलटोगे तो वे तुम्हारे सामने आज़ार पेश करेंगे, कह दीजिए कि बहाने न बनाओ, हम हरगिज़ तुम्हारी बात न मानेंगे, बेशक अल्लाह ने हमको तुम्हारे हालात बता दिए हैं, अब अल्लाह और उसका रसूल तुम्हारे अमल को देखेंगे फिर तुम उसकी तरफ़ लोटाए जाओगे जो खुले और छुपे का जानने वाला है, पस वह तुमको बता देगा जो कुछ तुम कर रहे थे।
And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided
Aur inn ko woh din yaad dulaiye jiss mein Allah inn ko ( apney huzoor ) jama keray ga ( to inn ko aisa mehsoos hoga ) kay goya woh ( duniya mein ) saray din ki aik aadh ghari rahey hongay aur aapas mein aik doosray ko pehchanney ko thehray hon. Waqaee khasaray mein paray woh log jinhon ney Allah kay pass janey ko jhutlaya aur woh hudayat paney walay na thay.
और जिस दिन अल्लाह उनको जमा करेगा, गोया कि वे बस दिन की घड़ी दुनिया में थे, वे एक-दूसरे को पहचानेंगे, बेशक सख़्त घाटे में रहे वे लोग जिन्होंने अल्लाह से मिलने को झुठलाया और वे राहे-रास्त पर न आए।
O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.
Aey logo! Tumharay pass tumhara rab ki taraf say aik aisi cheez aaee hai jo naseehat hai aur dilon mein jo rog hain unn kay liye shifa hai aur rehnumaee kerney wali hai aur rehmat hai eman walon kay liye.
ऐ लोगो! तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की जानिब से नसीहत आ गई और उसके लिए शिफ़ा जो सीनों में होती है, और अहले-ईमान के लिए हिदायत और रहमत।
[ Allah ] said, "Your supplication has been answered." So remain on a right course and follow not the way of those who do not know."
Haq Taalaa ney farmaya kay tum dono ki dua qabool ker li gaeeso tum sabit qadam raho aur unn logon ki raah na chalna jin ko ilm nahi.
(अल्लाह ने) कहाः तुम दोनों की दुआ क़बूल की गई, अब तुम दोनों जमे रहो और उन लोगों की राह की पैरवी न करो जो इल्म नहीं रखते।
Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager."
Aap keh dijiye kay aey logo! Tumharay pass haq tumharay rab ki taraf say phonch chuka hai iss liye jo shaks raah-e-raast per aajaye so woh apney wastay raah-e-raast per aaye ga aur jo shaks bey raah rahey ga uss ka bey raah hona ussi per paray ga aur mein tum per musallat nahi kiya gaya.
कह दीजिए कि ऐ लोगो! तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से तुम्हारे पास हक़ आ गया है, पस जो हिदायत क़बूल कर लेगा तो वह अपने ही लिए करेगा और जो भटकेगा तो उसका वबाल उसी पर आएगा, और मैं तुम्हारे ऊपर ज़िम्मेदार नहीं हूँ।
They said, "O Noah, you have disputed us and been frequent in dispute of us. So bring us what you threaten us, if you should be of the truthful."
( Qom kay logon ney ) kaha aey nooh! Tu ney hum say behas ker li. Abb tu jiss cheez say humen dhamka raha hai wohi humaray pass ley aa agar tu sachon mein hai.
उन्होंने कहाः ऐ नूह! तुमने हमसे झगड़ा किया और बहुत झगड़ा कर लिया पस अब वह चीज़ ले आओ जिसका तुम हमसे वादा करते रहे हो अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
And it was revealed to Noah that, "No one will believe from your people except those who have already believed, so do not be distressed by what they have been doing.
Nooh ki taraf wahee bheji gaee kay teri qom mein sa yjo eman laa chukay unn kay siwa aur koi abb eman laye ga hi nahi pus tu inn kay kaamon per ghumgeen na ho.
और नूह (अलै॰) की तरफ़ वह्य की गई कि अब आपकी क़ौम में से कोई ईमान नहीं लाएगा सिवाए उसके जो ईमान ला चुका, पस आप उन कामों पर ग़मगीन न हों जो वे कर रहे हैं।
They said, "O Salih, you were among us a man of promise before this. Do you forbid us to worship what our fathers worshipped? And indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt."
Unhon ney kaha aey saleh! Iss say pehlay to hum tujh say boht kuch umeeden lagaye huye thay kiya tu humen unn ki ibadaton say rok raha hai jinki ibadat humaray baap dada kertay chalay aaye humen to iss deen mein heyran kun shaq hai jiss ki taraf tu humen bula raha hai.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ सालेह! इससे पहले हमको तुमसे उम्मीद थी, क्या तुम हमको उनकी इबादत से रोकते हो जिनकी इबादत हमारे बाप-दादा करते थे, और जिस चीज़ की तरफ़ तुम हमको बुलाते हो उसके बारे में हमको सख़्त शुब्हा है, और हम बड़े शक में हैं।
[The angels said], "O Abraham, give up this [plea]. Indeed, the command of your Lord has come, and indeed, there will reach them a punishment that cannot be repelled."
Aey ibrahim! Iss khayal ko chor dijiye aap kay rab ka hukum aa phoncha hai aur unn per na taalay janey wala azab zaroor aaney wala hai.
ऐ इब्राहीम! उसको छोड़ो, बेशक तुम्हारे रब का हुक्म आ चुका है और उन पर ऐसा अज़ाब आने वाला है जो लौटाया नहीं जाता।
And women in the city said, "The wife of al-'Azeez is seeking to seduce her slave boy; he has impassioned her with love. Indeed, we see her [to be] in clear error."
Aur shehar ki aurton mein charcha honey laga kay aziz ki biwi apney ( jawan ) ghulam ko apna matlab nikalney kay liye behlaney phuslaney mein lagi rehti hai inn kay dil mein yousuf ki mohabbat beth gaee hai humaray khayal mein to woh sarreh gumrahi mein hai.
और शहर की औरतों में चर्चा होने लगा कि अज़ीज़ की बीवी अपने (जवान) ग़ुलाम को अपना मतलब निकालने के लिए बहलाने फुसलाने में लगी रहती है, उसके दिल में यूसुफ़ की मुहब्बत बैठ गई है, हमारे ख़्याल में तो वह खुली गुमराही में है।
So when they had despaired of him, they secluded themselves in private consultation. The eldest of them said, "Do you not know that your father has taken upon you an oath by Allah and [that] before you failed in [your duty to] Joseph? So I will never leave [this] land until my father permits me or Allah decides for me, and He is the best of judges.
Jab yeh iss say mayus hogaye to tanahee mein beth ker mashwara kerney lagay. Inn mein jo sab say bara tha uss ney kaha tumhen maloom nahi kay tumharay walid ney tum say Allah ki qasam ley ker pukhta qol-o-qarar liya hai aur iss say pehlay yousuf kay baray mein tum kotahi ker chukay ho. Pus mein to iss sir zamin say na taloo ga jabtak walid shab khud mujhay ijazat na den ya Allah Taalaa meray iss moamlay ka faisla ker den wohi behtareen faisla kerney wala hai.
जब वे उससे ना-उम्मीद हो गए तो अलग होकर आपस में मशवरा करने लगे, उनके बड़े ने कहाः क्या तुमको मालूम नहीं कि तुम्हारे वालिद ने तुमसे अल्लाह के नाम पर पक्का इक़रार लिया और इससे पहले यूसुफ़ के मामले में जो ज़्यादती तुम कर चुके हो वह भी तुमको मालूम है, पस मैं इस ज़मीन से हरगिज़ नहीं टलूँगा जब तक कि मेरे वालिद मुझे इजाज़त न दें या अल्लाह मेरे लिए कोई फ़ैसला न फ़रमा दे, और वह सबसे बेहतर फ़ैसला करने वाला है।
They said, "Are you indeed Joseph?" He said "I am Joseph, and this is my brother. Allah has certainly favored us. Indeed, he who fears Allah and is patient, then indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good."
Unhon ney kaha kiya ( waqaee ) tu hi yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) hai. Jawab diya kay haan mein yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) hun aur yeh mera bhai hai. Allah ney hum per fazal-o-karam kiya. Baat yeh hai kay jo bhi perhezgari aur sabar keray to Allah Taalaa kissi neko kaar ka ajar zaya nahi kerta.
उन्होंने कहाः क्या सच मुच तुम ही यूसुफ़ हो? उसने कहाः हाँ मैं यूसुफ़ हूँ और यह मेरा भाई है, अल्लाह ने हम पर फ़ज़्ल फ़रमाया, जो शख़्स डरता है और सब्र करता है तो अल्लाह नेक काम करने वालों का अज्र ज़ाया नहीं करता।
And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. And he said, "O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise.
Aur apney takht per apney maa baap ko ooncha bithaya aur sab uss kay samney sajday mein girr gaye. Tab kaha kay abba ji! Yeh meray pehlay kay khuwab ki tabeer hai meray rab ney ussay sacha ker dikhaya uss ney meray sath bara ehsan kiya jab kay mujhay jail khaney say nikala aur aap logon ko sehra say ley aaya uss ikhtilaaf kay baad jo shetan ney mujh mein aur meray bhaiyon mein daal diya tha. Mera rab jo chahaye uss kay liye behtareen tadbeer kerney wala hai. Aur woh boht ilm-o-hikmat wala hai.
और उसने अपने वालिदैन को तख़्त पर बिठाया और सब उसके लिए सज्दे में झुक गए, और यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ अब्बा जान! यह है मेरे ख़्वाब की ताबीर जो मैंने पहले देखा था, मेरे रब ने उसको सच्चा कर दिया और उसने मेरे साथ एहसान किया कि उसने मुझे क़ैद से निकाला और तुम सबको देहात से यहाँ लाया बाद में इसके कि शैतान ने मेरे और मेरे भाइयों के दरमियान फ़साद डाल दिया था, बेशक मेरा रब जो कुछ चाहता है उसकी उम्दा तदबीर कर लेता है, यक़ीनन वही जानने वाला, हिकमत वाला है।
My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous."
Aey meray perwerdigar! Tu ney mujhay mulk ata farmaya aur tu ney mujhay khuwab ki tabeer sikhlaee. Aey aasman-o-zamin kay peda kerney walay! Tu hi duniya aur aakhirat mein mera wali ( dost ) aur kaar saaz hai tu mujhay islam ki halat mein fot ker aur neko mein mila dey.
ऐ मेरे रब! आपने मुझको हुकूमत में से हिस्सा दिया और मुझको ख़्वाबों की ताबीर करना सिखाया, ऐ आसमानों और ज़मीन के पैदा करने वाले! आप ही मेरा काम बनाने वाले हैं दुनिया में भी और आख़िरत में भी मुझको फ़रमाँबरदारी की हालत में वफ़ात दीजिए और मुझको नेक बंदों में शामिल फ़रमाईए।
[They continued] until, when the messengers despaired and were certain that they had been denied, there came to them Our victory, and whoever We willed was saved. And Our punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals.
Yahan tak kay jab rasool na umeed honey lagay aur woh ( qom kay log ) khayal kerney lagay kay unhen jhoot kaha gaya foran hi humari madad unn kay pass aa phonchi jissay hum ney chaha ussay nijat di gaee. Baat yeh hai kay humara azab gunehgaron say wapis nahi kiya jata.
यहाँ तक कि जब पैग़म्बर मायूस हो गए और वह ख़्याल करने लगे कि उन से झूठ कहा गया था तो उनको हमारी मदद आ पहुँची, पस नजात मिली जिसको हमने चाहा, और मुजरिम लोगों से हमारा अज़ाब टाला नहीं जा सकता।
Thus have We sent you to a community before which [other] communities have passed on so you might recite to them that which We revealed to you, while they disbelieve in the Most Merciful. Say, "He is my Lord; there is no deity except Him. Upon Him I rely, and to Him is my return."
Issi tarah hum ney aap ko iss ummat mein bheja hai jiss say pehlay boht si ummaten guzar chuki hain kay aap enhen humari taraf say jo wahee aap per utri hai parh ker sunaiye yeh Allah rehman kay munkir hain aap keh dijiye kay mera paalney wala to wohi hai uss kay siwa dar-haqeeqat koi bhi laeeq-e-ibadat nahi ussi kay upper mera bharosa hai aur ussi ki janib mera rujoo hai.
इसी तरह हमने आपको भेजा है एक उम्मत में जिससे पहले भी बहुत-सी उम्मतें गुज़र चुकी हैं; ताकि आप लोगों को वह पैग़ाम सुना दें जो हमने आपकी तरफ़ भेजा है, और वह मेहरबान अल्लाह का इनकार कर रहे हैं, कह दीजिए कि वही मेरा रब है उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, उसी पर मैंने भरोसा किया और उसी की तरफ़ मुझे लौटना है।
Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.
Inn say pehlay kay logon ney bhi makar kiya tha ( aakhir ) Allah ney ( unn kay mansoobon ) ki emarton ko jaron say ukher diya aur unn ( kay saron ) per ( unn ki ) chaten upper say gir paren aur unn kay pass azab wahan say aagaya jahan ka unn ko weham-o-guman bhi na tha.
उनसे पहले लोगों ने भी मक्र किया था (आख़िर) अल्लाह ने उन (के मंसूबों) की इमारतों को जड़ों से उखाड़ दिया और उन (के सरों) पर (उनकी) छतें ऊपर से गिर पड़ीं और उनके पास अज़ाब वहाँ से आ गया जहाँ का उन्हें वह्म व गुमान भी न था।
[That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration.
Aisa hi dastoor unn ka tha jo aap say pehlay rasool hum ney bhejay aur aap humaray dastoor mein kabhi radd-o-badal na payen gay.
यही कार्यप्रणाली हमारे उन रसूलों के विषय में भी रही है, जिन्हें हम ने तुम से पहले भेजा था और तुम हमारी कार्यप्रणाली में कोई अन्तर न पाओगे
[Moses] said, "If I should ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion. You have obtained from me an excuse."
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney jawab diya agar abb iss kay baad mein aap say kissi cheez kay baray mein sawal keroon to be-shak aap mujhay apney sath na rakhna yaqeena aap meri taraf say ( hadd ) uzur ko phonch chukay.
कहा, "इस के बाद यदि मैं आप से कुछ पूछूँ तो आप मुझे साथ न रखें। अब तो मेरी ओर से आप पूरी तरह उज़्र को पहुँच चुके हैं।"
But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.
Itney mein ussay neechay say hi awaz di kay aazardah khatir na ho teray rab ney teray paon talay aik chashma jari ker diya hai.
उस समय उसे उस के नीचे से पुकारा, "शोकाकुल न हो। तेरे रब ने तेरे नीचे एक स्रोत प्रवाहित कर रखा है।
O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path.
Meray meharban maa baap! Aap dekhiye meray pass woh ilm aaya hai jo aap kay pass aaya hi nahi to aap meri hi manen mein bilkul seedhi raah ki taraf aap ki rehbari keroon ga.
ऐ मेरे बाप! मेरे पास ज्ञान आ गया है जो आप के पास नहीं आया। अतः आप मेरा अनुसरण करें, मैं आप को सीधा मार्ग दिखाऊँगा
[ Allah ] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses.
Janab baari taalaa ney farmaya musa teray tamam sawalaat poora ker diye gaye.
कहा, "दिया गया तुझे जो तूने माँगा, ऐ मूसा!
So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance.
Tum iss kay pass jaa ker kaho kay hum teray perwerdigar kay payghumber hain tu humaray sath bani israeel ko bhej dey inn ki sazayen moqoof ker. Hum to teray pass teray rab ki taraf say nishani ley ker aaye hain aur salamti ussi kay liye hai jo hidayat ka paband ho jaye.
अतः जाओ, उस के पास और कहो, हम तेरे रब के रसूल हैं। इसराईल की सन्तान को हमारे साथ भेज दे। और उन्हें यातना न दे। हम तेरे पास तेरे रब की निशानी लेकर आए है। और सलामती है उस के लिए जो संमार्ग का अनुसरण करे!
Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' "
Humari taraf wahee ki gaee hai kay jo jhutlaye aur roo gardani keray uss kay liye azab hai.
निस्संदेह हमारी ओर प्रकाशना हुई है कि यातना उस के लिए है, जो झुठलाए और मुँह फेरे।"
But whoever comes to Him as a believer having done righteous deeds - for those will be the highest degrees [in position]:
Aur jo bhi uss kay pass eman ki halat mein hazir hoga aur uss ney aemaal bhi nek kiye hongay uss kay liye buland-o-bala darjay hain.
और जो कोई उस के पास मोमिन होकर आया, जिस ने अच्छे कर्म किए होंगे, तो ऐसे लोगों के लिए तो ऊँचे दर्जें हैं
O Children of Israel, We delivered you from your enemy, and We made an appointment with you at the right side of the mount, and We sent down to you manna and quails,
Aey bani israeel! Dekho hum ney tumhen tumharay dushman say nijat di aur tum say koh-e-toor ki dayen taraf ka wada kiya aur tum per mann-o-salwa utara.
ऐ ईसराईल की सन्तान! हम ने तुम्हें तुम्हारे शत्रु से छुटकारा दिया और तुम से तूर के दाहिने छोर का वादा किया और तुम पर मग्न और सलवा उतारा,
[ Allah ] said, "But indeed, We have tried your people after you [departed], and the Samiri has led them astray."
Farmaya! Hum ney teri qom ko teray peechay aazmaeesh mein daal diya aur unhen samri ney behka diya.
कहा, "अच्छा, तो हम ने तेरे पीछे तेरी क़ौम के लोगों को आज़माइश में डाल दिया है। और सामरी ने उन्हें पथभ्रष्ट कर डाला।"
Thus, [O Muhammad], We relate to you from the news of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Us the Qur'an.
Issi tarah hum teray samney pehlay ki guzri hui waardaaten biyan farma rahen hain aur yaqeena hum tujhay apney pass say naseehat ata farma chukay hain.
इस प्रकार विगत वृत्तांत हम तुम्हें सुनाते हैं और हम ने तुम्हें अपने पास से एक अनुस्मृति प्रदान की है
And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers."
Aur sacha wada qareeb aa lagay ga uss waqt kafirion ki nigahen phati ki phati reh jayen gi kay haye afsos! Hum iss haal say ghafil thay bulkay fil-waqey hum qusoor waar thay.
और सच्चा वादा निकट आ लगेगा, तो क्या देखेंगे कि उन लोगों की आँखें फटी की फटी रह गई हैं, जिन्होंने इनकार किया था, "हाय, हमारा दुर्भाग्य! हम इस की ओर से असावधान रहे, बल्कि हम ही अत्याचारी थे।"
Certainly will the believers have succeeded:
Yaqeenan eman walon ney falah hasil kerli.
सफल हो गए ईमान वाले,
My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels
Meri aayaten tumharay samney parhi jati thin phir tum apni airhiyon kay bal ultay bhagtay thay.
तुम्हें मेरी आयतें सुनाई जाती थीं, तो तुम अपनी एड़ियों के बल फिर जाते थे।
Do you not see that Allah is exalted by whomever is within the heavens and the earth and [by] the birds with wings spread [in flight]? Each [of them] has known his [means of] prayer and exalting [Him], and Allah is Knowing of what they do.
Kiya aap ney nahi dekha kay aasmano aur zamin ki kul makhlooq aur par phelaye urney walay kul parind Allah ki tasbeeh mein masghool hain. Her aik ki namaz aur tasbeeh ussay maloom hai log jo kuch keren uss say Allah bakhoobi waqif hai.
क्या तुम ने नहीं देखा कि जो कोई भी आकाशों और धरती में है, अल्लाह की तसबीह (गुणगान) कर रहा है और पंख पसारे हुए पक्षी भी? हर एक अपनी नमाज़ और तसबीह से परिचित है। अल्लाह भली-भाँति जानता है जो कुछ वे करते हैं
Do not make [your] calling of the Messenger among yourselves as the call of one of you to another. Already Allah knows those of you who slip away, concealed by others. So let those beware who dissent from the Prophet's order, lest fitnah strike them or a painful punishment.
Tum Allah Taalaa kay nabi kay bulney ko aisa bulawa na kerlo jaisa kay aapas mein aik doosray ko hota hai. Tum mein say unhen Allah khoob janta hai jo nazar bacha ker chupkay say sirak jatay hain suno jo log hukum-e-rasool ki mukhlifat kertay hain unhen dartay rehna chahaye kay kahin unn per koi zabardast aafat na aa paray ya unhen dard-naak azab na phonchay.
अपने बीच रसूल के बुलाने को तुम आपस में एक-दूसरे जैसा बुलाना न समझना। अल्लाह उन लोगों को भली-भाँति जानता है जो तुम में से ऐसे हैं कि (एक-दूसरे की) आड़ लेकर चुपके से खिसक जाते हैं। अतः उन को, जो उस के आदेश की अवहेलना करते हैं, डरना चाहिए कि कही ऐसा न हो कि उन पर कोई आज़माइश आ पड़े या उन पर कोई दुखद यातना आ जाए
Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Already He knows that upon which you [stand] and [knows] the Day when they will be returned to Him and He will inform them of what they have done. And Allah is Knowing of all things.
Aagah hojao kay aasma-o-zamin mein jo kuch hai sab Allah Taalaa hi ka hai. Jiss ravish per tum ho woh issay bakhoobi janta hai aur jiss din yeh sab uss ki taraf lotaye jayen gay uss din inn ko inn kay kiye say woh khabardaar ker dey ga. Allah Taalaa sab kuch jannay wala hai.
सुन लो! आकाशों और धरती में जो कुछ भी है, अल्लाह का है। वह जानता है तुम जिस (नीति) पर हो। और जिस दिन वे उस की ओर पलटेंगे, तो जो कुछ उन्होंने किया होगा, वह उन्हें बता देगा। अल्लाह तो हर चीज़ को जानता है
He said, "I was only given it because of knowledge I have." Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation [of wealth]? But the criminals, about their sins, will not be asked.
Qaroon ney kaha yeh sab kuch mujhay meri apni samajh ki bina per hi diya gaya hai kiya issay abb tak yeh nahi maloom kay Allah Taalaa ney uss say pehlay boht si basti walon ko ghaarat ker diya jo uss say boht ziyada qooat walay aur boht bari jama poonji walay thay. Aur gunehgaaron say unn kay gunahon ki baaz purs aisay waqt nahi ki jati
उस ने कहा, "मुझे तो यह मेरे अपने व्यक्तिगत ज्ञान के कारण मिला है।" क्या उस ने यह नहीं जाना कि अल्लाह उस से पहले कितनी ही नस्लों को विनष्ट कर चुका है जो शक्ति में उस से बढ़-चढ़कर और बाहुल्य में उस से अधिक थीं? अपराधियों से तो (उन की तबाही के समय) उन के गुनाहों के विषय में पूछा भी नहीं जाता
Already Allah knows the hinderers among you and those [hypocrites] who say to their brothers, "Come to us," and do not go to battle, except for a few,
Allah Taalaa tum mein say unhen ( ba-khoobi ) janta hai jo doosron ko roktay hain aur apnay bhai bando say kehtay hain kay humaray pass chalay aao. Au kabhi kabhi hi laraee mein aajatay hain.
अल्लाह तुम में से उन लोगों को भली-भाँति जानता है जो (युद्ध से) रोकते हैं और अपने भाइयों से कहते हैं, "हमारे पास आ जाओ।" और वे लड़ाई में थोड़े ही आते हैं, (क्योंकि वे)
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
Aey nabi hum ney teray liye teri woh biwiyan halal kerdi hain jinehn tum unn kay mehar day chuka hai aur woh londiyan bhi jo Allah Taalaa ney ghanimat mein tujhay di hain aur teray chacha ki larkiyan aur phophiyon ki betiyan aur teray mamo ki betiyan aur teri khalaon ki betiyan bhi jinhon ney teray sath hijrat ki hai aur woh ba-emaan aurat jo apna nafs nabi ko hiba ker day yeh uss soorat mein kay khud nabi bhi uss say nikkah kerna chahaye yeh khas tor per sirf teray liye hi hai aur momino kay liye nahi hum issay ba-khoobi jantay hain jo hum ney inn per aur inn ki biwiyon aur londiyon kay baray mein ( ehkaam ) muqarrar ker rakhay hain yeh iss liye kay tujh per haraj waqey na ho Allah Taalaa boht bakhshney aur baray reham wala hai.
ऐ नबी! हम ने तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारी वे पत्नियाँ वैध कर दी हैं जिन के मह्र तुम दे चुके हो, और उन स्त्रियों को भी जो तुम्हारी मिल्कियत में आई, जिन्हें अल्लाह ने ग़नीमत के रूप में तुम्हें दी और तुम्हारी चचा की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारी फूफियों की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारे मामुओं की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारी ख़ालाओं की बेटियाँ जिन्होंने तुम्हारे साथ हिजरत की है और वह ईमान वाली स्त्री जो अपने आप को नबी के लिए दे दे, यदि नबी उस से विवाह करना चाहे। ईमान वालों से हटकर यह केवल तुम्हारे ही लिए है, हमें मालूम है जो कुछ हम ने उन की पत्ऩियों और उन की लौंड़ियों के बारे में उन पर अनिवार्य किया है - ताकि तुम पर कोई तंगी न रहे। अल्लाह बहुत क्षमाशील, दयावान है
You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Yaqeenan tu ney apna khuwab sacha ker dikhaya be-shak hum neki kerney walon ko issi tarah jaza detay hain.
तूने स्वप्न को सच कर दिखाया। निस्संदेह हम उत्तमकारों को इसी प्रकार बदला देते हैं।"
Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.
Inn say aglay bhi yehi baat keh chukay hain pus unn ki kaarawaee unn kay kuch kaam na aaee.
यही बात वे लोग भी कह चुके हैं, जो उन से पहले गुज़रे हैं। किन्तु जो कुछ कमाई वे करते हैं, वह उन के कुछ काम न आई
But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers.
Haan ( haan ) be-shak teray pass meri aayaten phonch chuki thin jinhen tu ney jhutlaya aur ghooroor takabbur kiya aur tu tha hi kafiron mein.
"क्यों नहीं, मेरी आयतें तेरे पास आ चुकी थीं, किन्तु तूने उन को झूठलाया और घमंड किया और इनकार करने वालों में सम्मिलित रहा
Those who had been arrogant will say, "Indeed, all [of us] are in it. Indeed, Allah has judged between the servants."
Woh baray log jawab den gay hum to sabhi iss aag mein hain Allah Taalaa apnay bandon kay darmiyan faislay ker chuka hai.
वे लोग, जो बड़े बनते थे, कहेंगे, "हम में से प्रत्येक इसी में पड़ा है। निश्चय ही अल्लाह बन्दों के बीच फ़ैसला कर चुका।"
But never did their faith benefit them once they saw Our punishment. [It is] the established way of Allah which has preceded among His servants. And the disbelievers thereupon lost [all].
Lekin humaray azab ko dekh lenay kay baad unn kay eman ney unhen nafa na diya. Allah ney apna mamool yehi muqarrar ker rakha hai jo uss kay bando mein barabar chala aaraha hai aur uss jagah kafir kharab-o-khasta huyey.
किन्तु उन का ईमान उन को कुछ भी लाभ नहीं पहुँचा सकता था जबकि उन्होंने हमारी यातना को देख लिया - यही अल्लाह की रीति है, जो उस के बन्दों में पहले से चली आई है - और उस समय इनकार करने वाले घाटे में पड़कर रहे
And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them and what was behind them [of sin], and the word has come into effect upon them among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.
Aur hum ney inn kay kuch hum nashee muqarrar ker rakhay rhay jinhon ney unn kay aglay pichlay aemaal unn ki nighaon mein khoobsurat bana rakhay thay aur inn kay haq mein bhi Allah ka qol unn ummaton kay sath poora hua jo inn say pehlay jinno aur insano ki guzar chuki hain. Yaqeenan woh ziyan kaar sabir huyey.
हम ने उन के लिए कुछ साथी नियुक्त कर दिए थे। फिर उन्होंने उन के आगे और उन के पीछे जो कुछ था उसे सुहाना बनाकर उन्हें दिखाया। अन्ततः उन पर भी जिन्नों और मनुष्यों के उन गिरोहों के साथ फ़ैसला सत्यापित होकर रहा, जो उन से पहले गुज़र चुके थे। निश्चय ही वे घाटा उठाने वाले थे
