الفاظ ( كُلَّ )

اللہ تعالٰی سود کو مٹاتا ہے اور صدقہ کو بڑھاتا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی کسی ناشکرے اور گنہگار سے محبت نہیں کرتا ۔

Allah destroys interest and gives increase for charities. And Allah does not like every sinning disbeliever.

تم کچھ اور لوگوں کو ایسا بھی پاؤ گے جن کی ( بظاہر ) چاہت ہے کہ تم سے بھی امن میں رہیں ۔ اور اپنی قوم سے بھی امن میں رہیں ( لیکن ) جب کبھی فتنہ انگیزی کی طرف لوٹائے جاتے ہیں تو اوندھے منہ اس میں ڈال دیئے جاتے ہیں ، پس اگر یہ لوگ تم سے کنارہ کشی نہ کریں اور تم سے صلح کا سلسلہ جنبانی نہ کریں اور اپنے ہاتھ نہ روک لیں ، تو انہیں پکڑو اور مار ڈالو جہاں کہیں بھی پاؤ ، یہی وہ ہیں جن پر ہم نے تمہیں ظاہر حُجت عنایت فرمائی ہے ۔

You will find others who wish to obtain security from you and [to] obtain security from their people. Every time they are returned to [the influence of] disbelief, they fall back into it. So if they do not withdraw from you or offer you peace or restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you overtake them. And those - We have made for you against them a clear authorization.

تم سے یہ تو کبھی نہیں ہو سکے گا کہ اپنی تمام بیویوں میں ہر طرح عدل کرو ، گو تم اس کی کتنی ہی خواہش و کوشش کر لو ، اس لئے بالکل ہی ایک کی طرف مائل ہو کر دوسری کو ادھڑ لٹکتی ہوئی نہ چھوڑو اور اگر تم اصلاح کرو اور تقویٰ اختیار کرو تو بیشک اللہ تعالٰی بڑی مغفرت اور رحمت والا ہے ۔

And you will never be able to be equal [in feeling] between wives, even if you should strive [to do so]. So do not incline completely [toward one] and leave another hanging. And if you amend [your affairs] and fear Allah - then indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

اور ان میں بعض ایسے ہیں کہ آپ کی طرف کان لگاتے ہیں اور ہم نے ان کے دلوں پر پردہ ڈال رکھا ہے اس سے کہ وہ اس کو سمجھیں اور ان کے کانوں میں ڈاٹ دے رکھی ہے اور اگر وہ لوگ تمام دلائل کو دیکھ لیں تو بھی ان پر کبھی ایمان نہ لائیں یہاں تک کہ جب یہ لوگ آپ کے پاس آتے ہیں تو آپ سے خواہ مخواہ جھگڑتے ہیں یہ لوگ جو کافر ہیں یوں کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تو کچھ بھی نہیں صرف بے سند باتیں ہیں جو پہلوں سے چلی آرہی ہیں ۔

And among them are those who listen to you, but We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. Even when they come to you arguing with you, those who disbelieve say, "This is not but legends of the former peoples."

اور ایسے لوگوں سے بالکل کنارہ کش رہیں جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو کھیل تماشہ بنا رکھا ہے اور دنیوی زندگی نے انھیں دھوکا میں ڈال رکھا ہے اور اس قرآن کے ذریعے سے نصیحت بھی کرتے رہیں تاکہ کوئی شخص اپنے کردار کے سبب ( اس طرح ) نہ پھنس جائے کہ کوئی غیر اللہ اس کا نہ مددگار ہو اور نہ سفارشی اور یہ کیفیت ہو کہ اگر دنیا بھر کا معاوضہ بھی دے ڈالے تب بھی اس سے نہ لیا جائے ایسے ہی ہیں کہ اپنے کردار کے سبب پھنس گئے ، ان کے لئے نہایت تیز گرم پانی پینے کے لئے ہوگا اور دردناک سزا ہوگی اپنے کفر کے سبب ۔

And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Qur'an, lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allah no protector and no intercessor. And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve.

اور ان سے ان کی قوم نے حجت کرنا شروع کیا آپ نے فرمایا کیا تم اللہ کے معاملے میں مجھ سے حجت کرتے ہو حالانکہ اس نے مجھے طریقہ بتلا دیا ہے اور میں ان چیزوں سے جن کو تم اللہ تعالٰی کے ساتھ شریک بناتے ہو نہیں ڈرتا ہاں اگر میرا پروردگار ہی کوئی امر چاہے میرا پروردگار ہرچیز کو اپنے علم میں گھیرے ہوئے ہے ، کیا تم پھر بھی خیال نہیں کرتے ۔

And his people argued with him. He said, "Do you argue with me concerning Allah while He has guided me? And I fear not what you associate with Him [and will not be harmed] unless my Lord should will something. My Lord encompasses all things in knowledge; then will you not remember?

وہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا موجد ہے اللہ تعالٰی کے اولاد کہاں ہوسکتی ہے حالانکہ اس کے کوئی بیوی تو ہے نہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی نے ہرچیز کو پیدا کیا اور وہ ہرچیز کو خوب جانتا ہے ۔

[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.

اور اگر ہم ان کے پاس فرشتوں کو بھیج دیتے اور ان سے مردے باتیں کرنے لگتے اور ہم تمام موجودات کو ان کے پاس ان کی آنکھوں کے روبرو لا کر جمع کر دیتے ہیں تب بھی یہ لوگ ہرگز ایمان نہ لاتے ہاں اگر اللہ ہی چاہے تو اور بات ہے لیکن ان میں زیادہ لوگ جہالت کی باتیں کرتے ہیں ۔

And even if We had sent down to them the angels [with the message] and the dead spoke to them [of it] and We gathered together every [created] thing in front of them, they would not believe unless Allah should will. But most of them, [of that], are ignorant.

اور یہود پر ہم نے تمام ناخن والے جانور حرام کر دئیے تھے اور گائے اور بکری میں سے ان دونوں کی چربیاں ان پر ہم نے حرام کر دی تھیں مگر وہ جو ان کی پشت پر یا انتڑیوں میں لگی ہو یا جو ہڈی سے ملی ہو ان کی شرارت کے سبب ہم نے ان کو یہ سزا دی اور ہم یقیناً سچے ہیں ۔

And to those who are Jews We prohibited every animal of uncloven hoof; and of the cattle and the sheep We prohibited to them their fat, except what adheres to their backs or the entrails or what is joined with bone. [By] that We repaid them for their injustice. And indeed, We are truthful.

ہم تو اللہ تعالٰی پر بڑی جھوٹی تہمت لگانے والے ہوجائیں گے اگر ہم تمہارے دین میں آجائیں اس کے بعد اللہ تعالٰی نے ہم کو اس سے نجات دی اور ہم سے ممکن نہیں کہ تمہارے مذہب میں پھر آجائیں ، لیکن ہاں یہ کہ اللہ ہی نے جو ہمارا مالک ہے مقدر کیا ہو ہمارے رب کا علم ہرچیز کو محیط ہے ، ہم اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ رکھتے ہیں اے ہمارے پروردگار ہمارے اور ہماری قوم کے درمیان حق کے موافق فیصلہ کردے اور تو سب سے اچھا فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے ۔

We would have invented against Allah a lie if we returned to your religion after Allah had saved us from it. And it is not for us to return to it except that Allah , our Lord, should will. Our Lord has encompassed all things in knowledge. Upon Allah we have relied. Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision."

میں ایسے لوگوں کو اپنے احکام سے برگشتہ ہی رکھوں گا جو دنیا میں تکبر کرتے ہیں ، جس کا ان کو کوئی حق حاصل نہیں اور اگر تمام نشانیاں دیکھ لیں تب بھی وہ ان پر ایمان نہ لائیں اور اگر ہدایت کا راستہ دیکھیں تو اس کو اپنا طریقہ نہ بنائیں اور اگر گمراہی کا راستہ دیکھ لیں تو اس کو اپنا طریقہ بنالیں یہ اس سبب سے ہے کہ انہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا اور ان سے غافل رہے ۔

I will turn away from My signs those who are arrogant upon the earth without right; and if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. And if they see the way of consciousness, they will not adopt it as a way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt it as a way. That is because they have denied Our signs and they were heedless of them.

اور ہم لوگوں کے نام دنیا میں بھی نیک حالی لکھ دے اور آخرت میں بھی ہم تیری طرف رجوع کرتے ہیں اللہ تعالٰی نے فرمایا کہ میں اپنا عذاب اسی پر واقع کرتا ہوں جس پر چاہتا ہوں اور میری رحمت تمام اشیا پر محیط ہے تو وہ رحمت ان لوگوں کے نام ضرور لکھوں گا جو اللہ سے ڈرتے ہیں اور زکوۃ دیتے ہیں اور جو ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان لاتے ہیں ۔

And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You." [ Allah ] said, "My punishment - I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakah and those who believe in Our verses -

اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب کہ آپ کا رب فرشتوں کو حکم دیتا تھا کہ میں تمہارا ساتھی ہوں سو تم ایمان والوں کی ہمت بڑھاؤ میں ابھی کفار کے قلوب میں رعب ڈالے دیتا ہوں سو تم گردنوں پر مارو اور ان کے پور پور کو مارو

[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."

پھر حرمت والے مہینوں کے گزرتے ہی مشرکوں کو جہاں پاؤ قتل کرو انہیں گرفتار کروان کا محاصرہ کرلو اور ان کی تاک میں ہر گھاٹی میں جابیٹھو ، ہاں اگر وہ توبہ کرلیں اور نماز کے پابند ہوجائیں اور زکوۃ ادا کرنے لگیں تو تم ان کی راہیں چھوڑ دو یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اور یہ کہ تم لوگ اپنے گناہ اپنے رب سے معاف کراؤ پھر اسی کی طرف متوجہ رہو ، وہ تم کو وقت مقرر تک اچھا سامان ( زندگی ) دے گا اور ہر زیادہ عمل کرنے والے کو زیادہ ثواب دے گا ۔ اور اگر تم لوگ اعراض کرتے رہے تو مجھ کو تمہارے لئے ایک بڑے دن کے عذاب کا اندیشہ ہے ۔

And [saying], "Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor. But if you turn away, then indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.

اس نے جب ان کی اس پر فریب غیبت کا حال سنا تو انہیں بلوا بھیجا اور ان کے لئے ایک مجلس مرتب کی اور ان میں سے ہر ایک کو چھری دی ۔ اور کہا اے یوسف ان کے سامنے چلے آؤ ان عورتوں نے جب اسے دیکھا تو بہت بڑا جانا اور اپنے ہاتھ کاٹ لئے اور زبان سے نکل گیا کہ حاشا للہ! یہ انسان تو ہرگز نہیں ، یہ تو یقیناً کوئی بہت ہی بزرگ فرشتہ ہے ۔

So when she heard of their scheming, she sent for them and prepared for them a banquet and gave each one of them a knife and said [to Joseph], "Come out before them." And when they saw him, they greatly admired him and cut their hands and said, "Perfect is Allah ! This is not a man; this is none but a noble angel."

جو اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے ہر وقت اپنے پھل لاتا ہے ۔ اور اللہ تعالٰی لوگوں کے سامنے مثالیں بیان فرماتا ہے تاکہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کریں ۔

It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded.

یہ اس لئے کہ اللہ تعالٰی ہر شخص کو اس کے کئے ہوئے اعمال کا بدلہ دے ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی کو حساب لیتے کچھ دیر نہیں لگنے کی ۔

So that Allah will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.

اپنا ہاتھ اپنی گردن سے بندھا ہوا نہ رکھ اور نہ اسے بالکل ہی کھول دے کہ پھر ملامت کیا ہوا درماندہ بیٹھ جائے ۔

And do not make your hand [as] chained to your neck or extend it completely and [thereby] become blamed and insolvent.

جس دن ہم ہر جماعت کو اس کے پیشوا سمیت بلائیں گے ۔ پھر جن کا بھی اعمال نامہ دائیں ہاتھ میں دے دیا گیا وہ تو شوق سے اپنا نامۂ اعمال پڑھنے لگیں گے اور دھاگے کے برابر ( ذرہ برابر ) بھی ظلم نہ کئے جائیں گے ۔

[Mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will call forth every people with their record [of deeds]. Then whoever is given his record in his right hand - those will read their records, and injustice will not be done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside the date seed].

کشتی تو چند مسکینوں کی تھی جو دریا میں کام کاج کرتے تھے ۔ میں نے اس میں کچھ توڑ پھوڑ کر نے کا ارادہ کر لیا کیونکہ ان کے آگے ایک بادشاہ تھا جو ہر ایک ( صحیح سالم ) کشتی کو جبراً ضبط کر لیتا تھا ۔

As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force.

جواب دیا کہ ہمارا رب وہ ہے جس نے ہر ایک کو اس کی خاص صورت ، شکل عنایت فرمائی پھر راہ سجھا دی ۔

He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]."

اصل بات یہی ہے کہ تم سب کا معبود برحق صرف اللہ ہی ہے اس کے سوا کوئی پرستش کے قابل نہیں ۔ اس کا علم تمام چیزوں پر حاوی ہے ۔

Your god is only Allah , except for whom there is no deity. He has encompassed all things in knowledge."

کیا کافر لوگوں نے یہ نہیں دیکھا کہ آسمان و زمین باہم ملے جلے تھے پھر ہم نے انہیں جدا کیا اور ہر زندہ چیز کو ہم نے پانی سے پیدا کیا ، کیا یہ لوگ پھر بھی ایمان نہیں لاتے؟

Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?

بعض لوگ اللہ کے بارے میں باتیں بناتے ہیں اور وہ بھی بے علمی کے ساتھ اور ہر سرکش شیطان کی پیروی کرتے ہیں ۔

And of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge and follows every rebellious devil.

سن رکھو! یقیناً سچے مومنوں کے دشمنوں کو خود اللہ تعالٰی ہٹا دیتا ہے کوئی خیانت کرنے والا ناشکرا اللہ تعالٰی کو ہرگز پسند نہیں ۔

Indeed, Allah defends those who have believed. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone treacherous and ungrateful.

پھر ہم نے لگاتار رسول بھیجے جب جب جس امت کے پاس اس کا رسول آیا اس نے جھٹلایا ، پس ہم نے ایک کو دوسرے کے پیچھے لگا دیا اور انہیں افسانہ بنا دیا ۔ ان لوگوں کو دوری ہے جو ایمان قبول نہیں کرتے ۔

Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe.

زنا کار عورت و مرد میں سےہر ایک کو سو کوڑے لگاؤ ۔ ان پر اللہ کی شریعت کی حد جاری کرتے ہوئے تمہیں ہرگز ترس نہ کھانا چاہیئے ، اگر تمہیں اللہ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان ہو ان کی سزا کے وقت مسلمانوں کی ایک جماعت موجود ہونی چاہیے ۔

The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah , if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment.

تمام کے تمام چلنے پھرنے والے جانداروں کو اللہ تعالٰی ہی نے پانی سے پیدا کیا ہے ان میں سے بعض تو اپنے پیٹ کے بل چلتے ہیں بعض دو پاؤں پر چلتے ہیں ، بعض چارپاؤں پر چلتے ہیں اللہ تعالٰی جو چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے بیشک اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

Allah has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

اسی اللہ کی سلطنت ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی اور وہ کوئی اولاد نہیں رکھتا نہ اس کی سلطنت میں کوئی اس کا ساجھی ہے اور ہرچیز کو اس نے پیدا کرکے ایک مناسب اندازہ ٹھہرادیا ہے ۔

He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.

آپ اور پہاڑوں کو دیکھ کر اپنی جگہ جمے ہوئے خیال کرتے ہیں لیکن وہ بھی بادل کی طرح اڑتے پھریں گے یہ ہے صنعت اللہ کی جس نے ہرچیز کو مضبوط بنایا ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اس سے وہ باخبر ہے ۔

And you see the mountains, thinking them rigid, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allah , who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do.

لوگوں کے سامنے اپنے گال نہ پھلا اور زمین پراترا کر نہ چل کسی تکبر کرنے والے شیخی خورے کو اللہ تعا لٰی پسند نہیں فرماتا ۔

And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.

جس نے نہایت خوب بنائی جو چیز بھی بنائی اور انسان کی بناوٹ مٹی سے شروع کی ۔

Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.

اگر ہم چاہتے تو ہر شخص کو ہدایت نصیب فرما دیتے ، لیکن میری یہ بات بالکل حق ہو چکی ہے کہ میں ضرور ضرور جہنم کو انسانوں اور جنوں سے پر کر دونگا ۔

And if we had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.

اور کافروں نے کہا ( آؤ ) ہم تمہیں ایک ایسا شخص بتلائیں جو تمہیں یہ خبر پہنچا رہا ہے کہ جب تم بالکل ہی ریزہ ریزہ ہو جاؤ گے تو تم پھر سے ایک نئی پیدائش میں آؤ گے ۔

But those who disbelieve say, "Shall we direct you to a man who will inform you [that] when you have disintegrated in complete disintegration, you will [then] be [recreated] in a new creation?

لیکن انہوں نے پھر کہا اے ہمارے پروردگار! ہمارے سفر دور دراز کر دے چونکہ خود انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھوں اپنا برا کیا اس لئے ہم نے انہیں ( گذشتہ ) افسانوں کی صورت میں کر دیا اور ان کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے اڑا دیئے بلاشبہ ہر ایک صبرو شکر کرنے والے کے لئے اس ( ماجرے ) میں بہت سی عبرتیں ہیں ۔

But [insolently] they said, "Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys," and wronged themselves, so We made them narrations and dispersed them in total dispersion. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

اور جو لوگ کافر ہیں ان کے لئے دوزخ کی آگ ہے نہ تو ان کی قضا ہی آئے گی کہ مر ہی جائیں اور نہ دوزخ کا عذاب ہی ان سے ہلکا کیا جائے گا ۔ ہم ہر کافر کو ایسی ہی سزا دیتے ہیں ۔

And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we recompense every ungrateful one.

اور ( طاقتور ) جنات کو بھی ( ان کے ماتحت کر دیا ) ہر عمارت بنانے والے کو اور غوط خور کو ۔

And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver

عرش کے اٹھانے والے اور اس کے اس پاس کے ( فرشتے ) اپنے رب کی تسبیح و حمد کے ساتھ ساتھ کرتے ہیں اور اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور ایمان والوں کے لئے استغفار کرتے ہیں ، کہتے ہیں کہ اے ہمارے پروردگار! تو نے ہرچیز کو اپنی بخشش اور علم سے گھیر رکھا ہے ، پس توانہیں بخش دے جو توبہ کریں اور تیری راہ کی پیروی کریں اور تو انہیں دوزخ کے عذاب سے بھی بچا لے ۔

Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.

یہ اپنی کھالوں سے کہیں گے کہ تم نے ہمارے خلاف شہادت کیوں دی وہ جواب دیں گی کہ ہمیں اس اللہ نے قوت گویائی عطا فرمائی جس نے ہرچیز کو بولنے کی طاقت بخشی ہے ، اسی نے تمہیں اول مرتبہ پیدا کیا اور اسی کی طرف تم سب لوٹائے جاؤ گے ۔

And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against us?" They will say, "We were made to speak by Allah , who has made everything speak; and He created you the first time, and to Him you are returned.

اور آپ دیکھیں گے کہ ہر امت گھٹنوں کے بل گری ہوئی ہوگی ہر گروہ اپنے نامہ اعمال کی طرف بلایا جائے گا آج تمہیں اپنے کئے کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا ۔

And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.

جو اپنے رب کے حکم سے ہرچیز کو ہلاک کر دے گا ، پس وہ ایسے ہوگئے کہ بجز ان کے مکانات کے اور کچھ دکھائی نہ دیتا تھا گناہ گاروں کے گروہ کو ہم یونہی سزا دیتے ہیں ۔

Destroying everything by command of its Lord. And they became so that nothing was seen [of them] except their dwellings. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.

ڈال دو جہنم میں ہر کافر سرکش کو ۔

[ Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever,

بیشک ہم نے ہرچیز کو ایک ( مقررہ ) اندازےپر پیدا کیا ہے ۔

Indeed, all things We created with predestination.

سب آسمان و زمین والے اسی سے مانگتے ہیں ہر روز وہ ایک شان میں ہے ۔

Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.

تاکہ تم اپنے سے فوت شدہ کسی چیز پر رنجیدہ نہ ہو جایا کرو اور نہ عطا کردہ چیز پر اترا جاؤ اور اترانے والے شیخی خوروں کو اللہ پسند نہیں فرماتا ۔

In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful -

جب آپ انہیں دیکھ لیں تو ان کے جسم آپ کو خوشنما معلوم ہوں یہ جب باتیں کرنے لگیں تو آپ ان کی باتوں پر ( اپنا ) کان لگائیں گویا کہ یہ لکڑیاں ہیں دیوار کے سہارے سےلگائی ہو ئیں ہر ( سخت ) آواز کو اپنے خلاف سمجھتے ہیں یہی حقیقی دشمن ہیں ان سے بچو اللہ انہیں غارت کرے کہاں سے پھرے جاتے ہیں ۔

And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?

اور تو کسی ایسے شخص کا بھی کہا نہ ماننا جو زیادہ قسمیں کھانے والا ۔

And do not obey every worthless habitual swearer

تاکہ ان کے اپنے رب کے پیغام پہنچا دینے کا علم ہو جائے اللہ تعالٰی نے انکے آس پاس ( کی تمام چیزوں ) کا احاطہ کر رکھا ہے اور ہرچیز کی گنتی کا شمار کر رکھا ہے ۔

That he may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number.
