Those who do not know say, "Why does Allah not speak to us or there come to us a sign?" Thus spoke those before them like their words. Their hearts resemble each other. We have shown clearly the signs to a people who are certain [in faith].
Issi tarah bey ilm logon ney bhi kaha kay khud Allah Taalaa hum say baaten kiyon nahi kerta ya humaray pass koi nishani kiyon nahi aati? Issi tarah aisi hi baat inn kay aglon ney bhi kahi thi unn kay aur inn kay dil yaksan hogaye. Hum ney to yaqeen kerney walon kay liye nishaniyan biyan ker den.
और जो लोग इल्म नहीं रखते उन्होंने कहाः अल्लाह क्यों कलाम नहीं करता हमसे, या हमारे पास कोई निशानी क्यों नहीं आती, इसी तरह उनके अगले भी इन्हीं की सी बात कह चुके हैं, उन सबके दिल एक जैसे हैं, हमने पेश कर दी हैं निशानियाँ उन लोगों के लिए जो यक़ीन करने वाले हैं।
Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.
Aur tabey daar log kehney lagen gay kaash hum duniya ki taraf doobara jayen to hum bhi inn say aisay hi bey zaar hojayen jaisay yeh hum say hain issi tarah Allah Taalaa unhen unn kay aemaal dikhaye ga unn ko hasrat dilaney ko yeh hergiz jahannum say na niklen gay.
वे लोग जो पीछे चलते थे कहेंगेः काश! हमको दुनिया की तरफ़ दोबारा लौटना नसीब होता तो हम भी उनसे अलग हो जाते जैसे वे हम से अलग हो गए, इस तरह अल्लाह उनके आमाल को उन्हें हसरत बना कर दिखाएगा, और वे आग से न निकल सकेंगे।
And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, Allah has sent to you Saul as a king." They said, "How can he have kingship over us while we are more worthy of kingship than him and he has not been given any measure of wealth?" He said, "Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing [in favor] and Knowing."
Aur unhen unn kay nabi ney farmaya kay Allah Taalaa ney taloot ko tumahra badshah bana diya hai to kehney lagay bhala uss ki hum per hukoomat kaisay ho sakti hai? Uss say to boht ziyada haq daar badshaat kay hum hain uss ko to maali kushadgi bhi nahi di gaee. Nabi ney farmaya suno Allah Taalaa ney ussi ko tum per bar gazeedah kiya hai aur ussay ilmi aur jismani bartari bhi ata farmaee hai baat yeh hai kay Allah jisay chahaye apna mulk dey Allah Taalaa kushadgi wala aur ilm wala hai.
और उनके नबी ने उनसे कहाः अल्लाह ने “तालूत” को तुम्हारे लिए बादशाह मुक़र्रर किया है, उन्होंने कहा कि उसको हमारे ऊपर बादशाही कैसे मिल सकती है हालाँकि हम उसके मुक़ाबले में बादशाहत के ज़्यादा हक़दार हैं, और उसको तो ज़्यादा दौलत भी हासिल नहीं, नबी ने कहाः अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे मुक़ाबले में उसको चुना है और इल्म और जिस्म में उसको ज़्यादती दी है, और अल्लाह अपनी सल्तनत जिसको चाहता है देता है, अल्लाह बड़ी वुसअत वाला, जानने वाला है।
And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, a sign of his kingship is that the chest will come to you in which is assurance from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron had left, carried by the angels. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers."
Unn kay nabi ney unhen phir kaha kay uss ki badshaat ki zahiri nishani yeh hai kay tumharay pass woh sandooq aa jaye ga jiss mein tumharay rab ki taraf say dil jamaee aur aal-e-musa aur aal-e-haroon ka baqiya tarqa hai farishtay ussay utha ker layen gay. Yaqeenan yeh to tumharay liye khuli daleel hai agar tum eman laye ho.
और उनके नबी ने उनसे कहाः उस तालूत के बादशाह होने की निशानी यह है कि तुम्हारे पास वह सन्दूक़ आ जाएगा जिसमें तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से तुम्हारे लिए तसकीन (का सामान) है और आले-मूसा और आले-हारून की छोड़ी हुई यादगारें हैं, उस सन्दूक़ को फ़रिश्ते उठाए हुए होंगे, उसमें तुम्हारे लिए बड़ी निशानी है अगर तुम यक़ीन रखने वाले हो।
Whom Allah has cursed. For he had said, "I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion.
Jissay Allah ney laanat ki hai aur uss ney baira utahaya hai kay teray bandon mein say mein muqarrar shuda hissa ley ker rahon ga.
उस पर अल्लाह ने लानत की है, और शैतान ने कहा था कि मैं तेरे बंदों में से एक मुक़र्रर हिस्सा लेकर रहुँगा।
And Allah had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We delegated from among them twelve leaders. And Allah said, "I am with you. If you establish prayer and give zakah and believe in My messengers and support them and loan Allah a goodly loan, I will surely remove from you your misdeeds and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way."
Aur Allah Taalaa ney bani israeel say ehad-o-paymaan liya aur unhi mein say baara sardar hum ney muqarrar farmaye aur Allah Taalaa ney farma diya kay yaqeenan mein tumharay sath hun agar tum namaz qaeem rakho gay aur zakat detay raho gay aur meray rasoolon ko maantay raho gay aur unn ki madad kertay raho gay aur Allah Taalaa ko behtar qarz detay raho gay to yaqeenan mein tumhari buraiyan tum say door rakhoon ga aur tumhen unn jannaton mein ley jaon ga jin kay neechay chashmay beh rahey hain abb iss ehas-o-paymaan kay baad bhi tum mein say jo inkari ho jaye woh yaqeenan raah-e-raast say bhatak gaya.
और अल्लाह ने बनी-इस्राईल से अहद लिया और हमने उनमें से बारह सरदार मुक़र्रर किए, और अल्लाह ने कहा कि मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ, अगर तुम नमाज़ क़ायम करोगे और ज़कात अदा करोगे और मेरे पैग़म्बरों पर ईमान लाओगे और उनकी मदद करोगे और अल्लाह को क़र्ज़े-हसन दोगे तो मैं तुमसे तुम्हारे गुनाह ज़रूर दूर कर दूँगा और तुमको ज़रूर ऐसे बाग़ों में दाख़िल करूँगा जिनके नीचे नहरें बहती होंगी, पस तुम में से जो शख़्स इसके बाद इनकार करेगा तो वह सीधे रास्ते से भटक गया।
They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.
Be-shak woh log kafir hogaye jin ka qol hai kay maseeh ibn-e-marium hi Allah hain halankay khud maseeh ney unn say kaha tha aey bani israeel! Allah hi ki ibadat kero jo mera aur tumhara sab ka rab hai yaqeen mano kay jo shaks Allah kay sath shareek kerta hai Allah Taalaa ney uss per jannat haram ker di hai uss ka thikana jahannum hi hai aur gunehgaron ki madad kerney wala koi nahi hoga.
यक़ीनन उन लोगों ने कुफ़्र किया जिन्होंने कहा कि अल्लाह ही तो मसीह बिन मरियम है; हालाँकि मसीह ने कहा था कि ऐ बनी-इस्राईल! अल्लाह की इबादत करो जो मेरा भी रब है और तुम्हारा भी रब है, जो शख़्स अल्लाह के साथ शरीक ठहराएगा तो अल्लाह ने हराम की उस पर जन्नत और उसका ठिकाना आग है, और ज़ालिमों का कोई मददगार नहीं।
And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term, which you appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what Allah wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing."
Aur jiss roz Allah Taalaa tamam khalaeeq ko jama keray ga ( kahey ga ) aey jamat jinnaat ki! Tum ney insanon mein say boht say apna liye jo insan inn kay sath talluq rakhney walay thay woh kahen gay aey humaray perwerdigar hum mein aik ney doosray say faeeda hasil kiya tha aur hum apni iss moyyen muddat tak aa phonchay jo tu ney humaray liye moyyen farmaee Allah farmaye ga kay tum sab ka thikana dozakh hai jiss mein hamesha raho gay haan agar Allah hi ko manzoor hoto doosri baat hai. Be-shak aap ka rab bari hikmat wala bara ilm wala hai.
और जिस दिन अल्लाह उन सबको जमा करेगा, ऐ जिन्नात के गिरोह! तुम बहुत-से इंसानों को गुमराह कर चुके, और इंसानों में से उनके साथी कहेंगे कि ऐ हमारे रब! हमने एक-दूसरे को इस्तेमाल किया और हम पहुँच गए अपनी उस मुद्दत को जो आपने हमारे लिए मुक़र्रर की थी, अल्लाह कहेगा कि अब तुम्हारा ठिकाना आग है हमेशा उसमें रहोगे मगर जो अल्लाह चाहे, बेशक आपका रब हिकमत वाला, इल्म वाला है।
But Satan whispered to them to make apparent to them that which was concealed from them of their private parts. He said, "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree except that you become angels or become of the immortal."
Phir shetan ney inn dono kay dilon mein waswasa dala takay inn ki sharamgahen jo aik doosray say posheeda thi dono kay roo baroo parda kerdey aur kehney laga kay tumharay rab ney tum dono ko iss darakht say aur kissi sabab say mana nahi farmaya magar mehaz iss waja say kay tum dono kahin farishtay hojao ya kahin hamesha zinda rehney walon mein say na hojao.
फिर शैतान ने दोनों को बहकाया ताकि वह खोल दे उनकी शर्मगाहें जो उनसे छुपाई गई थीं, उसने उनसे कहा कि तुम्हारे रब ने तुमको उस दरख़्त से सिर्फ़ इसलिए रोका है कि कहीं तुम दोनों फ़रिश्ते न बन जाओ या तुमको हमेशा की ज़िंदगी हासिल हो जाए।
And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the message of my Lord and advised you, but you do not like advisors."
Uss waqt ( saleh alh-e-salam ) unn say mun mor ker chalay aur farmaney lagay aey meri qom! Mein to tum ko apney perwerdigar ka hukum phoncha diya tha aur mein ney tumhari khair khuwahi ki lekin tum log khair khuwahon ko pasand nahi kertay.
और सालेह (अलै॰) यह कहते हुए (उनकी बस्तियों से) निकल गए कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! मैंने तुमको अपने रब का पैग़ाम दिया और मैंने तुम्हारी ख़ैर-ख़्वाही की मगर तुम ख़ैर-ख़्वाहों को पसंद नहीं करते।
Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people, "If you should follow Shu'ayb, indeed, you would then be losers."
Aur unn ki qom kay kafir sardaron ney kaha agar tum shoaib ( alh-e-salam ) ki raah per chalo gay to be-shak bara nuksan uthao gay.
और उन बड़ों ने जिन्होंने उसकी क़ौम में से इनकार किया था कहा कि अगर तुम शुऐब की पैरवी करोगे तो तुम बरबाद हो जाओगे।
And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the messages of my Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?"
Uss waqt shoaib ( alh-e-salam ) unn say mun mor ker chalay aur farmaney lagay kay aey meri qom! Mein ney tum ko apney perwerdigar kay ehkaam phoncha diye thay aur mein ney tumhari khair khuwahi ki. Phir mein inn kafir logon per kiyon ranj keroon.
उस वक़्त शुऐब (अलै॰) उनसे मुँह मोड़कर चले और कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! मैं तुमको अपने रब के पैग़ामात पहुँचा चुका और तुम्हारी ख़ैर-ख़्वाही कर चुका, अब मैं क्या अफ़सोस करूँ मुनकिरों पर।
And Moses said, "O Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds
Aur musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney farmaya kay aey firaon! Mein rabbul aalameen ki taraf say payghumbr hun.
और मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ फ़िरऔन! मैं तमाम जहानों के परवरदिगार की तरफ़ से भेजा हुआ रसूल हूँ।
And the eminent among the people of Pharaoh said," Will you leave Moses and his people to cause corruption in the land and abandon you and your gods?" [Pharaoh] said, "We will kill their sons and keep their women alive; and indeed, we are subjugators over them."
Aur qom-e-fiaon kay sardaron ney kaha kay kiya aap musa ( alh-e-salam ) aur unn ki qom ko yun hi rehney den gay kay woh mulk mein fasaad kertay phiren aur woh aap ko aur aap kay maboodon ko tarak kiye rahen. Firaon ney kaha kay hum abhi inn logon kay beton ko qatal kerna shuroo ker den gay aur aurton ko zinda rehney den gay aur hum ko inn per her tarah ka zor hai.
फ़िरऔन की क़ौम के सरदारों ने कहाः क्या तुम मूसा को और उसकी क़ौम को छोड़ दोगे कि वह मुल्क में फ़साद फैलाएं और तुमको और तुम्हारे माबूदों को छोड़ दें? फ़िरऔन ने कहाः हम उनके बेटों को क़त्ल करेंगे और उनकी औरतों को ज़िंदा रखेंगे, और हम उन पर पूरी तरह ग़ालिब हैं।
And We made an appointment with Moses for thirty nights and perfected them by [the addition of] ten; so the term of his Lord was completed as forty nights. And Moses said to his brother Aaron, "Take my place among my people, do right [by them], and do not follow the way of the corrupters."
Aur hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) say tees raaton kay wada kiya aur dus raat mazeed say inn tees raaton ko poora kiya. So inn kay perwerdigar ka waqt pooray chalees raat ka hogaya. Aur musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney apney bhai haroon ( alh-e-salam ) say kaha kay meray baad inn kay intizam rakhna aur islah kertay rehna aur bad nazam logon ki raaye per amal mat kerna.
और हमने मूसा (अलै॰) से तीस रातों का वादा किया और उसको पूरा किया मज़ीद दस रातों से तो उसके रब की मुद्दत चालीस रातों में पूरी हुई, और मूसा (अलै॰) ने अपने भाई हारून (अलै॰) से कहाः मेरे पीछे तुम मेरी क़ौम में जानशीनी करना, इस्लाह करते रहना और बिगाड़ पैदा करने वालों के तरीक़े पर न चलना।
And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed I fear Allah . And Allah is severe in penalty."
Jabkay unn kay aemaal ko shetan zeenat daar dikha raha tha aur keh raha tha kay logon mein say koi bhi aaj tum per ghalib nahi aa sakta mein khud bhi tumhara himayati hun lekin jab donon jamaten namoo daar huen to apni aeriyon kay ball peechay hatt gaya aur kehnay laga mein tum say bari hun. Mein woh dekh raha hun jo tum nahi dekh rahey. Mein Allah say darta hun aur Allah Taalaa sakhta azab wala hai.
और जब शैतान ने उन्हें उनके आमाल ख़ुशनुमा बनाकर दिखाए और कहा कि आज लोगों में से कोई तुम पर ग़ालिब आने वाला नहीं और मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ, मगर जब दोनों गिरोह आमने-सामने हुए तो वह उलटे पाँव भागा और कहा कि मैं तुम से बरी हूँ, मैं वह सब देख रहा हूँ जो तुम लोग नहीं देखते, मैं अल्लाह से डरता हूँ, और अल्लाह सख़्त अज़ाब देने वाला है।
And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." और जब शैतान ने उन्हें उनके आमाल ख़ुशनुमा बनाकर दिखाए और कहा कि आज लोगों में से कोई तुम पर ग़ालिब आने वाला नहीं और मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ, मगर जब दोनों गिरोह आमने-सामने हुए तो वह उलटे पाँव भागा और कहा कि मैं तुम से बरी हूँ, मैं वह सब देख रहा हूँ जो तुम लोग नहीं देखते, मैं अल्लाह से डरता हूँ, और अल्लाह सख़्त अज़ाब देने वाला है।
And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will gather them all together - then We will say to those who associated others with Allah , "[Remain in] your place, you and your 'partners.' " Then We will separate them, and their "partners" will say, "You did not used to worship us,
Aur woh din bhi qabil-e-ziker hai jiss roz hum inn sab ko jama keren gay phir mushrikeen say kahen gay kay tum aur tumharay shareek apni jagah thehro phir hum inn kay aapas mein phoot daal den gay aur inn kay woh shurka kahen gay kay tum humari ibadat nahi kertay thay.
और जिस दिन हम उन सब को जमा करेंगे फिर हम शिर्क करने वालों से कहेंगे कि ठहरो तुम भी और तुम्हारे बनाए हुए शरीक भी, फिर हम उनके दरमियान तफ़रीक़ कर देंगे और उनके शरीक कहेंगे कि तुम हमारी इबादत तो नहीं करते थे।
And Pharaoh said, "Bring to me every learned magician."
Aur firaon ney kaha meray pass tamam maahir jadoogaron ko hazir kero.
और फ़िरऔन ने कहा कि तमाम माहिर जादूगरों को मेरे पास ले आओ।
And Moses said, "O my people, if you have believed in Allah , then rely upon Him, if you should be Muslims."
Aur musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney farmaya aey meri qom! Agar tum Allah per eman rakhtay ho to ussi per tawakkal kero agar tum musalman ho.
और मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अगर तुम अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते हो तो उसी पर भरोसा करो अगर तुम वाक़ई फरमाँबरदार हो।
And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead [men] astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment."
Aur musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney arz kiya aey humaray rab! Tu ney firaon ko aur uss kay sardaron ko saman-e-zeenat aur tarah tarah kay maal dunayawi zindagi mein diye. Aey humaray rab! ( issi wastay diye hain kay ) woh teri raah say gumrah keren. Aey humaray rab! Unn kay malon ko neest-o-nabood ker dey aur unn kay dilon ko sakht ker dey so yeh eman na laa payen yahan tak kay dard naak azab ko dekh len.
और मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहा: ऐ हमारे रब! आपने फ़िरऔन को और उसके सरदारों को दुनिया की ज़िंदगी में रौनक़ और माल दिया है, ऐ हमारे रब! इसलिए कि वे आपकी राह से लोगों को भटकाएं, ऐ हमारे रब! उनके माल को ग़ारत कर दीजिए और उनके दिलों को सख़्त कर दीजिए कि वे ईमान न लाएं यहाँ तक कि दर्दनाक अज़ाब को देख लें।
And [Noah] said, "Embark therein; in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."
Nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha iss kashti mein beth jao Allah hi kay naam say iss ka chalna aur theharna hai yaqeenan mera rab bari bakhsish aur baray reham wala hai.
और नूह (अलै॰) ने कहा कि कश्ती में सवार हो जाओ, अल्लाह के नाम से इसका चलना है और इसका ठहरना भी, बेशक मेरा रब बख़्शने वाला, मेहरबान है।
And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know.
Misir walon mein say jiss ney ussay khareeda tha uss ney apni biwi say kaha issay boht izzat-o-ehtram kay sath rakho boht mumkin hai kay yeh humen faeeda phonchaye ya issay hum apna beta hi bana len yun to hum ney misir ki sir zamin yousuf ka qadam jama diya kay hum ussay khuwab ki tabeer ka kuch ilm sikha den. Allah apney iraday per ghalib hai lekin aksar log bey ilm hotay hain.
और अहले-मिस्र में से जिस शख़्स ने उसको ख़रीदा उसने अपनी बीवी से कहा कि उसको अच्छी तरह रखो, उम्मीद है कि वह हमारे लिए मुफ़ीद हो या हम उसको बेटा बना लें, और इस तरह हमने यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) को उस मुल्क में जगह दी और ताकि हम उसको बातों की तावील सिखाएं, और अल्लाह अपने काम पर ग़ालिब रहता है लेकिन अकसर लोग नहीं जानते।
And women in the city said, "The wife of al-'Azeez is seeking to seduce her slave boy; he has impassioned her with love. Indeed, we see her [to be] in clear error."
Aur shehar ki aurton mein charcha honey laga kay aziz ki biwi apney ( jawan ) ghulam ko apna matlab nikalney kay liye behlaney phuslaney mein lagi rehti hai inn kay dil mein yousuf ki mohabbat beth gaee hai humaray khayal mein to woh sarreh gumrahi mein hai.
और शहर की औरतों में चर्चा होने लगा कि अज़ीज़ की बीवी अपने (जवान) ग़ुलाम को अपना मतलब निकालने के लिए बहलाने फुसलाने में लगी रहती है, उसके दिल में यूसुफ़ की मुहब्बत बैठ गई है, हमारे ख़्याल में तो वह खुली गुमराही में है।
And there entered the prison with him two young men. One of them said, "Indeed, I have seen myself [in a dream] pressing wine." The other said, "Indeed, I have seen myself carrying upon my head [some] bread, from which the birds were eating. Inform us of its interpretation; indeed, we see you to be of those who do good."
Uss kay sath do aur jawan bhi qaid khanay mein dakhil huye inn mein say aik ney kaha kay mein ney khuwab mein apney aap ko sharab nichortay dekha hai aur doosray ney kaha mein ney apney aap ko dekha hai kay mein apney sir per roti uthaye huye hun jisay parinday kha rahey hain humen aap iss ki tabeer batiye humen to aap khoobiyon walay shaks dikhaee detay hain.
और क़ैदख़ाने में उसके साथ दो और नौजवान दाख़िल हुए, उनमें से एक ने (एक रोज़) कहा कि मैं ख़्वाब में देखता हूँ कि मैं शराब निचोड़ रहा हूँ, और दूसरे ने कहा कि मैं ख़्वाब में देखता हूँ कि अपने सर पर रोटी उठाए हुए हूँ जिसमें से चिड़ियाँ खा रही हैं, हमको इसकी ताबीर बताओ, हम देखते हैं कि तुम नेक लोगों में से हो।
And he said to the one whom he knew would go free, "Mention me before your master." But Satan made him forget the mention [to] his master, and Joseph remained in prison several years.
Aur jiss ki nisbat yousuf ka guman tha kay inn dono mein say yeh choot jayega uss say kaha kay apney badshah say mera ziker bhi ker dena phir ussay shetan ney apney badshah say ziker kerna bhula diya aur yousuf ney kaee saal qaid khaney mein hi kaatay.
और यूसुफ़ ने उस शख़्स से कहा जिसके बारे में उसका गुमान था कि वह बच जाएगा कि अपने आक़ा के पास मेरा ज़िक्र करना, फिर शैतान ने उसको अपने आक़ा से ज़िक्र करना भुला दिया, पस वह क़ैदख़ाने में कई साल ठहरा रहा।
And [subsequently] the king said, "Indeed, I have seen [in a dream] seven fat cows being eaten by seven [that were] lean, and seven green spikes [of grain] and others [that were] dry. O eminent ones, explain to me my vision, if you should interpret visions."
Badshah ney kaha mein ney khuwab mein dekha hai kay saat moti taza farba gayen hain jin ko saat laaghar dubli patli gayen kha rahi hain aur saat baliyan hain hari hari aur doosri saat bilkul khushk. Aey darbariyo! Meray iss khuwab ki tabeer batlao agar tum khuwab ki tabeer dey saktay ho.
और बादशाह ने कहा कि मैं ख़्वाब में देखता हूँ कि सात मोटी गायें हैं जिनको सात दुबली गायें खा रही हैं, और सात हरी बालियाँ हैं और दूसरी सात सूखी, ऐ दरबार वालो! मेरे ख़्वाब की ताबीर मुझे बताओ अगर तुम ख़्वाब की ताबीर देते हो।
But the one who was freed and remembered after a time said, "I will inform you of its interpretation, so send me forth."
Unn do qadiyon mein say jo raha hua tha ussay muddat kay baad yaad aagaya aur kehney laga mein tumhen iss ki tabeer batla doon ga mujhay janay ki ijazat dijiye.
उन दो क़ैदियों में से जो शख़्स बच गया था और उसको एक मुद्दत के बाद याद आया, उसने कहा कि मैं तुम लोगों को इसकी ताबीर बताऊँगा पस मुझको (यूसुफ़ के पास) जाने दो।
And the king said, "Bring him to me." But when the messenger came to him, [Joseph] said, "Return to your master and ask him what is the case of the women who cut their hands. Indeed, my Lord is Knowing of their plan."
Aur badshah ney kaha yousuf ko meray pass lao jab qasid yousuf kay pass phoncha to enhon ney kaha apney badshah kay pass wapis jaa aur uss say pooch kay unn aurton ka haqeeqi waqiya kiya hai jinhon ney apney hath kaat liye thay? Unn kay heelay ko ( sahih tor per ) jannay wala mera perwerdigar hi hai.
और बादशाह ने कहा कि उसको मेरे पास लाओ, फिर जब क़ासिद उसके पास आया तो उसने कहा कि तुम अपने आक़ा के पास वापस जाओ और उससे पूछो कि उन औरतों का मामला क्या है जिन्होंने अपने हाथ काट लिए थे, मेरा रब तो उन औरतों के फ़रेब से ख़ूब वाक़िफ़ है।
And the king said, "Bring him to me; I will appoint him exclusively for myself." And when he spoke to him, he said, "Indeed, you are today established [in position] and trusted."
Badshah ney kaha issay meray pass lao kay mein ussay apney khas kaamon kay liye muqarrar ker loon phir jab uss say baat cheet ki to kehney laga kay aap humaray haan aaj say zee izzat aur amant daar hain.
और बादशाह ने कहा कि उसको मेरे पास लाओ मैं उसको ख़ास अपने लिए रखूँगा, फिर जब यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) ने उससे बात की तो बादशाह ने कहाः आज से हमारे पास तुम्हारा बड़ा मर्तबा होगा और तुम पर पूरा भरोसा किया जाएगा।
And [Joseph] said to his servants, "Put their merchandise into their saddlebags so they might recognize it when they have gone back to their people that perhaps they will [again] return."
Apney khidmat garon say kaha kay inn ki poonji enhi ki boriyon mein rakh do kay jab lot ker apney ehal-o-ayal mein jayen aur poonjiyon ko pehchan len to boht mumkin hai kay yeh phir lot ker aayen.
और उसने अपने नौकरों से कहा कि उनका माल उनकी बोरियों में रख दो; ताकि जब वे अपने घर को पहुँचें तो उसको पहचान लें, शायद वे फिर वापस आएं।
And he said, "O my sons, do not enter from one gate but enter from different gates; and I cannot avail you against [the decree of] Allah at all. The decision is only for Allah ; upon Him I have relied, and upon Him let those who would rely [indeed] rely."
Aur ( yaqoob alh-e-salam ) ney kaha aey meray bacho! Tum sab aik darwazay say na jana bulkay kaee juda juda darwazon mein say dakhil hona. Mein Allah ki taraf say aaney wali kissi cheez ko tum say nahi taal sakta. Hukum sirf Allah hi ka chalta hai. Mera kaamil bharosa ussi per hai aur her aik bharosa kerney walay ko ussi per bharosa kerna chahaiye.
और याक़ूब (अलै॰) ने कहा कि ऐ मेरे बेटो! तुम सब एक ही दरवाज़े से दाख़िल न होना बल्कि अलग-अलग दरवाज़ों से दाख़िल होना, और मैं तुमको अल्लाह की किसी बात से बचा नहीं सकता, हुक्म तो बस अल्लाह ही का है, मैं उसी पर भरोसा रखता हूँ और भरोसा करने वालों को उसी पर भरोसा करना चाहिए।
And he turned away from them and said, "Oh, my sorrow over Joseph," and his eyes became white from grief, for he was [of that] a suppressor.
Phir unn say mun pher liya aur kaha haaye yousuf! Inn ki aankhen ba waja ranj-o-ghum kay safaid ho chuki thin aur woh ghum ko dabaye huye thay.
और उसने उन से रुख़ फेर लिया और कहाः हाय यूसुफ़! और ग़म से उसकी आँखें सफ़ेद पड़ गईं और वह ग़म को दबाए हुए था।
And when they entered upon Joseph, he took his parents to himself and said, "Enter Egypt, Allah willing, safe [and secure]."
Jab yeh sara gharana yousuf kay pass phonch gaya to yousuf ney apney maa baap ko apney pass jagah di aur kaha kay Allah ko manzoor hai to aap sab aman-o-amaan kay sath misir mein aao.
पस जब वे सब यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) के पास पहुँचे तो उसने अपने वालिदैन को अपने पास बिठाया और कहा कि मिस्र में इंशा-अल्लाह (अगर अल्लाह ने चाहा तो) अमन-चैन से रहो।
And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. And he said, "O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise.
Aur apney takht per apney maa baap ko ooncha bithaya aur sab uss kay samney sajday mein girr gaye. Tab kaha kay abba ji! Yeh meray pehlay kay khuwab ki tabeer hai meray rab ney ussay sacha ker dikhaya uss ney meray sath bara ehsan kiya jab kay mujhay jail khaney say nikala aur aap logon ko sehra say ley aaya uss ikhtilaaf kay baad jo shetan ney mujh mein aur meray bhaiyon mein daal diya tha. Mera rab jo chahaye uss kay liye behtareen tadbeer kerney wala hai. Aur woh boht ilm-o-hikmat wala hai.
और उसने अपने वालिदैन को तख़्त पर बिठाया और सब उसके लिए सज्दे में झुक गए, और यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ अब्बा जान! यह है मेरे ख़्वाब की ताबीर जो मैंने पहले देखा था, मेरे रब ने उसको सच्चा कर दिया और उसने मेरे साथ एहसान किया कि उसने मुझे क़ैद से निकाला और तुम सबको देहात से यहाँ लाया बाद में इसके कि शैतान ने मेरे और मेरे भाइयों के दरमियान फ़साद डाल दिया था, बेशक मेरा रब जो कुछ चाहता है उसकी उम्दा तदबीर कर लेता है, यक़ीनन वही जानने वाला, हिकमत वाला है।
And Moses said, "If you should disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely - indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy."
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha kay agar tum sab aur ruy-e-zamin kay tamam insan Allah ki na shukri keren to bhi Allah bey niyaz aur tareefon wala hai.
और मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहा कि अगर तुम इनकार करो और ज़मीन के सारे लोग भी मुनकिर हो जाएं तब भी अल्लाह बेनियाज़ है, ख़ूबियों वाला है।
And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion." So their Lord inspired to them, "We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.
Kafiron ney apney rasoolon say kaha kay hum tumhen mulk badar ker den gay ya tum phir say humaray mazhab mein lot aao. To unn kay perwerdigar ney unn ki taraf waahee bheji kay hum inn zalimon ko hi ghaarat ker den gay.
और इनकार करने वालों ने अपने पैग़म्बरों से कहा कि या तो हम तुमको अपनी ज़मीन से निकाल देंगे या तुमको हमारी मिल्लत में वापस आना होगा, तो पैग़म्बरों के रब ने उन पर वह्य भेजी कि हम इन ज़ालिमों को हलाक कर देंगे।
And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah ] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment."
Jab aur kaam ka faisla ker diya hayega to shetan kahey ga kay Allah ney to tumhen sacha wada diya tha aur mein ney tum say jo waday kiye thay unn ka khilaf kiya mera tum per koi dabao to tha hi nahi haan mein ney tumhen pukara aur tum ney meri maan li pus tum mujhay ilzam na lagao bulkay khud apney aap ko malamat kero na mein tumhara faryad rus aur na tum meri faryad ko phonchney walay mein to siray say manta hi nahi kay tum mujhay iss say pehlay Allah ka shareek mantay rahey yaqeenan zalimon kay liye dard naak azab hai.
और जब मामले का फ़ैसला हो जाएगा तो शैतान कहेगा कि अल्लाह ने तुमसे सच्चा वादा किया था और मैंने तुमसे वादा किया तो मैंने उसकी ख़िलाफ़वर्ज़ी की, और मेरा तुम्हारे ऊपर कोई ज़ोर न था मगर यह कि मैंने तुमको बुलाया तो तुमने मेरी बात को मान लिया, पस तुम मुझको इल्ज़ाम न दो और तुम अपने आपको इल्ज़ाम दो, न मैं तुम्हारा मददगार हो सकता हूँ और न तुम मेरे मददगार हो सकते हो, मैं ख़ुद इससे बेज़ार हूँ कि तुम इससे पहले मुझको शरीक ठहराते थे, बेशक ज़ालिमों के लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है।
And those who associate others with Allah say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him." Thus did those do before them. So is there upon the messengers except [the duty of] clear notification?
Mushrik logon ney kaha kay agar Allah Taalaa chahata to hum aur humaray baap daday uss kay siwa kissi aur ki ibadat hi na kertay na uss kay farman kay baghair kissi cheez ko haram kertay. Yehi fail inn say pehlay kay logon ka raha. To rasoolon per to sirf khullam khulla paygham phoncha dena hai.
और जिन लोगों ने शिर्क किया वे कहते हैं कि अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो हम उसके सिवा किसी चीज़ की इबादत न करते न हम और न हमारे बाप-दादा, और न हम उसके बग़ैर किसी चीज़ को हराम ठहराते, ऐसा ही उनसे पहले वालों ने किया था, पस रसूलों के ज़िम्मे तो सिर्फ़ साफ़-साफ़ पहुँचा देना ही है।
And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me."
Allah Taalaa irshad farma chuka hai kay do mabood na banao. Mabood to sirf wohi akela hai pus tum sab mera hi darr khof rakho.
और अल्लाह ने फ़रमाया कि दो माबूद मत बनाओ, वह एक ही माबूद है तो मुझ ही से डरो।
Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?"
Kiya tu ney ussay bhi dekha jiss ney humari aayaton say kufur kiya aur kaha kay mujhay to maal-o-aulad zaroor hi di jaye gi.
फिर क्या तुम ने उस व्यक्ति को देखा जिस ने हमारी आयतों का इनकार किया और कहा, "मुझे तो अवश्य ही धन और सन्तान मिलने को है?"
And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.
Aur sardaraan-e-qom ney jawab diya jo kufur kertay thay aur aakhirat ki mulaqat ko jhutlatay thay aur hum ney unhen dunyawi zindagi mein khushal ker rakha tha kay yeh to tum jesa hi insan hai tumhari hi khooraq yeh bhi khata hai aur tumharay peenay ka pani hi yeh bhi peeta hai.
उस की क़ौम के सरदार, जिन्होंने इनकार किया और आख़िरत के मिलन को झूठलाया और जिन्हें हम ने सांसारिक जीवन में सुख प्रदान किया था, कहने लगे, "यह तो बस तुम्हीं जैसा एक मनुष्य है। जो कुछ तुम खाते हो, वही यह भी खाता है और जो कुछ तुम पीते हो, वही यह भी पीता है
And those who disbelieve say, "This [Qur'an] is not except a falsehood he invented, and another people assisted him in it." But they have committed an injustice and a lie.
Aur kafiron ney kaha yeh to bus khud issi ka ghara gharaya jhoot hai jiss per aur logon ney bhi iss ki madad ki hai dar-asal yeh kafir baray hi zulm aur sir-ta-sir jhoot kay murtakib huye hain.
जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया उन का कहना है, "यह तो बस मनघड़ंत है जो उस ने स्वयं ही घड़ लिया है। और कुछ दूसरे लोगों ने इस काम में उस की सहायता की हैं।" वे तो ज़ुल्म और झूठ ही के ध्येय से आए
Or [why is not] a treasure presented to him [from heaven], or does he [not] have a garden from which he eats?" And the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic."
Ya iss kay pass koi khazana hi daal diya jata ya iss ka koi baagh hi hota jiss mein say yeh khata. Aur inn zalimon ney kaha kay tum aisay aadmi kay peechay ho liye ho jiss per jadoo ker diya gaya hai.
या इस की ओर कोई ख़ज़ाना ही डाल दिया जाता या इस के पास कोई बाग़ होता, जिस से यह खाता।" और इन ज़ालिमों का कहना है, "तुम लोग तो बस एक ऐसे व्यक्ति के पीछे चल रहे हो जो जादू का मारा हुआ है!"
And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence.
Aur jinhen humari mulaqat ki tawaqqa nahi unhon ney kaha kay hum per farishtay kiyon nahi utaray jatay? Ya hum apni aankhon say apnay rab ko dekh letay? Inn logon ney apnay aap ko ho boht bara samajh rakha hai aur sakht sirkashi ker li hai.
जिन्हें हम से मिलने की आशंका नहीं, वे कहते हैं, "क्यों न फ़रिश्ते हम पर उतरे या फिर हम अपने रब को देखते?" उन्होंने अपने जी में बड़ा घमंड किया और बड़ी सरकशी पर उतर आए
And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned."
Aur rasool kahey ga kay aey meray perwerdigar! Be-shak meri ummat ney iss quran ko chor rakha tha.
रसूल कहेगा, "ऐ मेरे रब! निस्संदेह मेरी क़ौम के लोगों ने इस क़ुरआन को व्यर्थ बकवास की चीज़ ठहरा लिया था।"
And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.
Aur kafiron ney kaha kay iss per quran sara ka sara aik sath hi kiyon na utara gaya issi tarah hum ney ( thora thora ker kay ) utara takay iss say hum aap ka dil qavi rakhen hum ney issay thehar thehar ker hi parh sunaya hai.
और जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया उन का कहना है कि "उस पर पूरा क़ुरआन एक ही बार में क्यों नहीं उतारा?" ऐसा इसलिए किया गया ताकि हम इस के द्वारा तुम्हारे दिल को मज़बूत रखें और हम ने इसे एक उचित क्रम में रखा
And Solomon inherited David. He said, "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty."
Aur dawood kay waris suleman huye aur kehney lagay logo! Humen perindon ki boli sikhaee gaee hai aur hum sab kuch mein say diye gaye hain. Be-shak yeh bilkul khula hua fazal-e-elahee hai.
दाऊद का उत्तराधिकारी सुलैमान हुआ और उस ने कहा, "ऐ लोगों! हमें पक्षियों की बोली सिखाई गई है और हमें हर चीज़ दी गई है। निस्संदेह वह स्पष्ट बड़ाई है।"
So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants."
Uss ki iss baat per suleman muskura ker hans diye aur dua kerney lagay kay aey perwerdigaar! Tu mujhay tofiq dey kay mein teri inn nematon ka shukar baja laaon jo tu ney mujh per inam ki hain aur meray maa baap per aur mein aisay nek amal kerta rahon jin say tu khush rahey mujhay apni rehmat say nek bandon mein shamil kerlay.
तो वह उस की बात पर प्रसन्न होकर मुस्कराया और कहा, "मेरे रब! मुझे संभाले रख कि मैं तेरी उस कृपा पर कृतज्ञता दिखाता रहूँ जो तूने मुझ पर और मेरे माँ-बाप पर की है। और यह कि अच्छा कर्म करूँ जो तुझे पसन्द आए और अपनी दयालुता से मुझे अपने अच्छे बन्दों में दाखिल कर।"
And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]?
Kafiron ney kaha kay kiya jab hum mitti ho jayen gay aur humaray baap dada bhi kiya hum phir nikalay jayen gay.
जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया वे कहते हैं कि "क्या जब हम मिट्टी हो जाएँगे और हमारे बाप-दादा भी, तो क्या वास्तव में हम (जीवित करके) निकाले जाएँगे?
