And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers.
baaz log kehtay hain kay hum Allah Taalaa per aur qayamat kay din per eman rakhtay hain lekin dar haqeeqat woh eman walay nahi hain.
और लोगों में से कुछ एसे भी हैं जो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए अल्लाह पर और आख़िरत के दिन पर, हालाँकि वे ईमान वाले नहीं हैं।
Say, [O Muhammad], "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is for you alone and not the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful.
Aap keh dijiye kay agar aakhirat ka ghar sirf tumharay liye hai Allah kay nazdeek aur kissi kay liye nahi to aao apni sachaee kay saboot mein maut talab kero.
कहिएः अगर अल्लाह के यहाँ आख़िरत का घर ख़ास तुम्हारे लिए है दूसरों को छोड़ कर तो तुम मरने की आरज़ू करो अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
And you will surely find them the most greedy of people for life - [even] more than those who associate others with Allah . One of them wishes that he could be granted life a thousand years, but it would not remove him in the least from the [coming] punishment that he should be granted life. And Allah is Seeing of what they do.
Bulkay sab say ziyada duniya ki zindagi ka harees aey nabi! Aap enhin ko paayen gay. Yeh hirs-e-zindagi mein mushrikon say bhi ziyada hai inn mein say to her shaks aik aik hazar saal ki umar chahata hai go yeh umar diya jana bhi enhen azab say nahi chura sakta Allah Taalaa inn kay kaamon ko bakhoobi dekh raha hai.
और तुम उनको ज़िंदगी का सबसे ज़्यादा लालची पाओगे, उन लोगों से भी ज़्यादा जो मुशरिक हैं, उन में से हर एक चाहता है कि वह हज़ार बरस की उम्र पाए; हालाँकि उतना जीना भी उसको अज़ाब से बचा नहीं सकता, और अल्लाह देखता है जो कुछ वे कर रहे हैं।
The foolish among the people will say, "What has turned them away from their qiblah, which they used to face?" Say, "To Allah belongs the east and the west. He guides whom He wills to a straight path."
Un qarib nadan log kahen gay kay jiss qabeelay per yeh thay iss say enhen kiss cheez na hataya? Aap keh dijiye kay mashriq-o-maghrib ka maalik Allah Taalaa hi hai woh jissay chahaye seedhi raah ki hidayat ker dey.
अब ये बेवक़ूफ़ लोग कहेंगे कि आख़िर वह क्या चीज़ है जिसने इन (मुसलमानों) को उस क़िबले से रुख़ फेरने पर आमादा कर दिया, जिसकी तरफ़ वे मुँह करते चले आ रहे थे, आप कह दीजिए कि मशरिक़ और मग़रिब सब अल्लाह ही की हैं, वह जिसको चाहता है सीधी राह की हिदायत कर देता है।
And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful.
Hum ney issi tarah tumhen aadil ummat banaya hai takay tum logon per gawah hojao aur rasool ( PBUH ) tum per gawah hojayen jiss qiblay per tum pehlay say thay ussay hum ney iss liye muqarrar kiya tha kay hum jaan len kay rasool ka sacha tabey daar kaun hai aur kaun hai jo apni aeyrhiyon kay ball palat jata hai go yeh kaam mushkil hai magar jinhen Allah ney hidayat di hai ( unn per koi mushkil nahi ) Allah Taalaa tumharay aemaal zaya na keray ga Allah Taalaa logon kay sath shafqat aur meharbani kerney wala hai.
और इस तरह हमने तुमको बीच की उम्मत बना दिया, ताकि तुम गवाह रहो लोगों पर और रसूल रहे तुम पर गवाह, और जिस क़िबले पर तुम थे हमने उसको सिर्फ़ इसलिए मुतअय्यन किया था ताकि हम जान लें कि कौन रसूल की पैरवी करता है और कौन उससे उलटे पाँव फिर जाता है, और बेशक यह बात भारी है मगर उन लोगों पर जिनको अल्लाह ने हिदायत दी, और अल्लाह ऐसा नहीं कि तुम्हारे ईमान को ज़ाया कर दे, बेशक अल्लाह लोगों के साथ शफ़क़त करने वाला मेहरबान है।
And [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah . But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah . And if only they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment.
Baaz log aisay bhi hain jo Allah kay shareek auron ko thehra ker uss say aisi mohabbat rakhtay hain jaisi mohabbat Allah say honi chahaiye aur eman walay Allah ki mohabbat mein boht sakht hotay hain kaash kay mushrik log jantay jab kay Allah kay azab ko dekh ker ( jaan len gay ) kay tamam taqat Allah hi ko hai aur Allah Taalaa sakht azab denay wala hai ( to hergiz shirk na kertay ) .
और कुछ लोग ऐसे हैं जो अल्लाह के सिवा दूसरों को उसका बराबर ठहराते हैं, उनसे ऐसी मुहब्बत रखते हैं जैसी मुहब्बत अल्लाह से रखना चाहिए, और जो ईमान वाले हैं वे सब से ज़्यादा अल्लाह से मुहब्बत रखने वाले हैं, और अगर ये ज़ालिम उस वक़्त को देख लें जबकि वे अज़ाब को देखेंगे कि ज़ोर सारा का सारा अल्लाह का है, और अल्लाह बड़ा सख़्त अज़ाब देने वाला है।
And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].
Aur aik doosray ka maal na haq na khaya kero na hakimon ko rishwat phoncha ker kissi ka kuch maal zulm-o-sitam say apna liya kero halankay tum jantay ho.
और तुम आपस में एक-दूसरे के माल को नाहक़ तौर पर न खाओ और उनको हाकिमों तक न पहुँचाओ; ताकि दूसरों के माल का कोई हिस्सा ज़ालिमाना तरीक़े पर खा जाओ, हालाँकि तुम उसको जानते हो।
And when you have completed your rites, remember Allah like your [previous] remembrance of your fathers or with [much] greater remembrance. And among the people is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world," and he will have in the Hereafter no share.
Phir jab tum arkaan-e-hajj ada ker chuko to Allah Taalaa ka zikar kero jiss tarah tum apney baap dadon ka zikar kiya kertay thay bulkay iss say bhi ziyada baaz log woh bhi hain jo kehtay hain aey humaray rab! Humen duniya mein dey. Aisay logon ka aakhirat mein koi hissa nahi.
फिर जब तुम अपने हज के आमाल पूरे कर लो तो अल्लाह को याद करो जिस तरह तुम अपने बाप-दादा को याद करते थे बल्कि उससे भी ज़्यादा, पस कुछ लोग तो वे हैं जो यूँ कहते हैं कि ऐ हमारे रब! हमें इस दुनिया में दे दे और आख़िरत में उसका कुछ हिस्सा नहीं।
And of the people is he whose speech pleases you in worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the fiercest of opponents.
Baaz logon ki dunyawi gharaz ki baaten aap ko khush ker deti hain aur woh apney dil ki baaton per Allah ko gawah kerta hai halankay dar asal woh zabardast jhagraloo hai.
और लोगों में से कोई है कि उसकी बात दुनिया की ज़िंदगी में तुमको प्यारी लगती है और वह अपने दिल की बात पर अल्लाह को गवाह बनाता है; हालाँकि वह सख़्त झगड़ालू है।
And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah . And Allah is kind to [His] servants.
Aur baaz log woh bhi hai jo Allah Taalaa ki raza mandi ki talab mein apni jaan tak baich detay daltay hain aur Allah Taalaa apney bandon per bari meharbani kerney wala hai.
और लोगों में कोई है कि अल्लाह की ख़ुशी की तलाश में अपनी जान को बेच देता है, और अल्लाह अपने बंदों पर निहायत मेहरबान है।
Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed. And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves. And Allah guided those who believed to the truth concerning that over which they had differed, by His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.
Dar-asal log aik hi giroh thay Allah Taalaa ney nabiyon ko khushkhabri denay aur daraney wala bana ker bheja aur unn kay sath sachi kitaben nazil farmaeen takay logon kay her ikhtilafi amar ka faisla hojaye. Aur sirf unhi logon ney jinhen kitab di gaee thi apney pass dalaeel aa chukney kay baad aapas kay bughz-o-aeynaad ki waja say iss mein ikhtilaf kiya iss liye Allah pak ney eman walon ki iss ikhtilaf mein bhi haq ki taraf apni mashiyat say rehbari ki aur Allah jiss ko chahaye seedhi raah ki taraf rehbari kerta hai.
लोग एक उम्मत ही थे, (उन्होंने इख़्तिलाफ़ किया) तो अल्लाह ने पैग़म्बरों को भेजा ख़ुश-ख़बरी सुनाने वाले और डराने वाले बनाकर, और उनके साथ किताब उतारी हक़ के साथ; ताकि वह फ़ैसला कर दे लोगों के दरमियान उन बातों का जिनमें वे इख़्तिलाफ कर रहे हैं, और यह इख़्तिलाफ़ात उन्हीं लोगों ने किए जिनको हक़ दिया गया था, बाद इसके कि उनके पास खुली-खुली हिदायात आ चुकी थीं, आपस की ज़िद की वजह से, पस अल्लाह ने अपनी तौफ़ीक़ से हक़ के मामले में ईमान वालों को राह दिखाई जिसमें वे झगड़ रहे थे, और अल्लाह जिसको चाहता है सीधी राह दिखा देता है।
And do not make [your oath by] Allah an excuse against being righteous and fearing Allah and making peace among people. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
Aur Allah Taalaa ko apni qasmon ka iss tarah nishana na banao kay bhalaee aur perhezgari aur logon kay darmiyan ki islaah ko chor betho aur Allah Taalaa sunney wala janney wala hai.
और अल्लाह (के नाम) को अपनी क़समों में इस नीयत से इस्तेमाल न करो कि उसके ज़रिए नेकी और तक़वे के कामों और लोगों के दरमियान सुलह व सफ़ाई कराने से बच सको; और अल्लाह सब कुछ सुनता-जानता है।
Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life. And Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude.
Kiya tum ney unhen nahi dekha jo hazaron ki tadaad mein thay aur maut kay darr kay maaray apney gharon say nikal kharay huye thay Allah Taalaa ney unhen farmaya marr jao phir unhen zinda ker diya be-shak Allah Taalaa logon per bara fazal wala hai lekin aksar log na shukray hain.
क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जो भाग खड़े हुए अपने घरों से मौत के डर से, हालाँकि वे हज़ारों की तादाद में थे, तो अल्लाह ने उनसे कहा कि मर जाओ, फिर उन्हें ज़िंदा किया, बेशक अल्लाह लोगों पर बड़ा ही फ़ज़्ल करने वाला है मगर बहुत सारे लोग शुक्र नहीं करते।
Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life. And Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude.
Kiya tum ney unhen nahi dekha jo hazaron ki tadaad mein thay aur maut kay darr kay maaray apney gharon say nikal kharay huye thay Allah Taalaa ney unhen farmaya marr jao phir unhen zinda ker diya be-shak Allah Taalaa logon per bara fazal wala hai lekin aksar log na shukray hain.
क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जो भाग खड़े हुए अपने घरों से मौत के डर से, हालाँकि वे हज़ारों की तादाद में थे, तो अल्लाह ने उनसे कहा कि मर जाओ, फिर उन्हें ज़िंदा किया, बेशक अल्लाह लोगों पर बड़ा ही फ़ज़्ल करने वाला है मगर बहुत सारे लोग शुक्र नहीं करते।
O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Aey eman walon apni kheyraat ko ehsan jata ker aur ezza phoncha ker barbad na kero! Jiss tarah woh shaks apna maal logon kay dikhaway kay liye kharach keray aur na Allah Taalaa per eman rakhay na qayamat per uss ki misal uss saaf pathar ki tarah hai jiss per thori si mitti ho phir uss per zor daar meenh barsay aur woh issay bilkul saaf aur sakht chor dey inn riya kaaron ko apni kamaee mein say kuch cheez haath nahi lagti aur Allah Taalaa kafiron ki qom ko ( seedhi ) raah nahi dikhata.
ऐ ईमान वालो! एहसान रख कर और सता कर अपने सदक़े को ज़ाया न करो, उस इंसान की तरह जो अपना माल दिखावे के लिए ख़र्च करता है और अल्लाह पर और आख़िरत के दिन पर ईमान नहीं रखता, पस उसकी मिसाल ऐसी है जैसे एक चट्टान हो जिस पर कुछ मिट्टी हो, फिर उस पर ज़ोर की बारिश पड़े और उसको बिल्कुल साफ़ कर दे, ऐसे लोगों को अपनी कमाई कुछ भी हाथ न लगेगी, और अल्लाह मुनकिर लोगों को राह नहीं दिखाता।
Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise."
Aey humaray rab! Tu yaqeenan logon ko aik din jama kerney wala hai jiss kay aaney mein koi shak nahi yaqeenan Allah Taalaa wada khilafi nahi kerta.
ऐ हमारे (प्यारे) परवरदिगार! आप जमा करने वाले हैं लोगों को एक दिन जिसमें कोई शुब्हा नहीं, बेशक अल्लाह वादे के ख़िलाफ़ नहीं करता।
Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
Jo log Allah Taalaa ki aayaton say kufur kertay hain aur na haq nabiyon ko qatal ker daaltay hain aur jo log adal-o-insaf ki baat kahen unhen bhi qatal ker daaltay hain to aey nabi! Enhen dard naak azab ki khabar dey dijiye!.
बेशक जो लोग अल्लाह की निशानियों का इनकार करते हैं और पैग़म्बरों को नाहक़ क़त्ल करते हैं और उन लोगों को मार डालते हैं जो लोगों में से इंसाफ़ की दावत लेकर उठते हैं, तो आप उनको एक दर्दनाक सज़ा की ख़ुश-ख़बरी दे दें।
Indeed, the most worthy of Abraham among the people are those who followed him [in submission to Allah ] and this prophet, and those who believe [in his message]. And Allah is the ally of the believers.
Sab logon say ziyada ibrahim say nazdeek tar woh log hain jinhon ney unn ka kaha maana aur yeh nabi aur jo log eman laye mominon ka wali aur shahara Allah hi hai.
बेशक लोगों में ज़्यादा मुनासिबत इब्राहीम (अलै॰) से उन लोगों को है जिन्होंने उनकी पैरवी की और यह पैग़म्बर और जो (उन पर) ईमान लाए, और अल्लाह ईमान वालों का साथी है।
In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.
Jiss mein khuli khuli nishaniyan hain muqam-e-ibrahim hai iss mein jo aajaye aman wala hojata hai Allah Taalaa ney unn logon per jo uss ki taraf raah paa saktay hon uss ghar ka hajj farz ker diya hai. Aur jo koi kufur keray to Allah Taalaa ( uss sau bulkay ) tamam duniya say bey perwah hai.
उसमें खुली हुई निशानियाँ हैं, मक़ामे-इब्राहीम है, जो उसमें दाख़िल हो जाए वह अमन पा लेगा, और लोगों पर अल्लाह का यह हक़ है कि जो उस घर तक पहुँचने की ताक़त रखता हो वह उसका हज करे, और जो मुनकिर हुआ तो अल्लाह तमाम दुनिया वालों से बेनियाज़ है।
They have been put under humiliation [by Allah ] wherever they are overtaken, except for a covenant from Allah and a rope from the Muslims. And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed.
Inn per her jagah zillat ki maar pari illa yeh kay Allah Taalaa ki ya logon ki panah mein hon yeh ghazab-e-elahee kay mustahiq hogaye aur inn per faqeeri daal di gaee yeh iss liye kay yeh log Allah Taalaa ki aayaton say kufur kertay thay aur bey waja anbiya ko qatal kiya kertay thay yeh badla hai inn ki na farmaniyon aur ziyadtiyon ka.
वे जहाँ भी पाए जाएं उन पर ज़िल्लत का ठप्पा लगा दिया गया है, सिवाए इसके कि अल्लाह की तरफ़ से कोई सबब पैदा हो जाए या इंसानों की तरफ़ से कोई ज़रिया निकल आए (जो उनको सहारा दे), अंजामकार वह अल्लाह का ग़ज़ब लेकर लौटे हैं, और उन पर मोहताजी मुसल्लत कर दी गई है, उसकी वजह यह है कि वे अल्लाह की आयतों का इनकार करते थे और पैग़म्बरों को नाहक़ क़त्ल करते थे, (नीज़) उसकी वजह यह भी है कि वे नाफ़रमानी करते थे और सारी हदें फलांग जाया करते थे।
Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;
Jo log aasani mein aur sakhti kay moqay per bhi Allah kay rastay mein kharach kertay hain gussa peenay walay aur logon say dar guzar kerney walay hain Allah Taalaa unn neko kaaron say mohabbat kerta hai.
जो लोग ख़र्च करते हैं ख़ुशहाली में और तंगी में, और जो ग़ुस्से को पी जाने वाले हैं और लोगों को माफ़ करने वाले हैं, और अल्लाह नेकी करने वालों को दोस्त रखता है।
If a wound should touch you - there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allah may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among you martyrs - and Allah does not like the wrongdoers -
Agar tum zakhmi huye ho to tumharay mukhalif log bhi to aisay hi zakhmi ho chukay hain hum inn dino ko logon kay darmiyan adaltay badaltay rehtay hain. ( shikast-e-ohod ) iss liye thi kay Allah Taalaa eman walon ko zahir ker dey aur tum mein say baaz ko shahdat ka darja ata farmaye Allah Taalaa zalimon say mohabbat nahi kerta.
अगर तुमको कोई ज़ख़्म पहुँचे तो दुश्मन को भी वैसा ही ज़ख़्म पहुँचा है, और हम इन दिनों को लोगों के दरमियान बदलते रहते हैं; ताकि अल्लाह ईमान वालों को जान ले और तुम में से कुछ लोगों को गवाह बनाए, और अल्लाह ज़ालिमों को दोस्त नहीं रखता।
And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.
Aur jo log apna maal logon kay dikhaway kay liye kharach kertay hain aur Allah Taalaa per aur qayamat kay din per eman nahi rakhtay aur jiss ka humnasheen aur sathi shetan ho woh bad tareen sathi hai.
और जो लोग अपना माल लोगों को दिखाने के लिए ख़र्च करते हैं और न अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते हैं और न आख़िरत के दिन पर, और जिसका साथी शैतान बन जाए तो वह बहुत बुरा साथी है।
Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.
Allah Taalaa tumhen takeedi hukum deta hai kay amanat walon ki amanaten unhen phonchao! Aur jab logon ka faisla kero to adal-o-insaf say faisla kero! Yaqeenan woh behtar cheez hai jiss ki naseehat tumhen Allah Taalaa ker raha hai. Be-shak Allah Taalaa sunta hai dekhta hai.
अल्लाह तुमको हुक्म देता है कि अमानतें उनके हक़दारों तक पहुँचा दो, और जब तुम लोगों के दरमियान फ़ैसला करो तो इंसाफ़ के साथ फ़ैसला करो, अल्लाह क्या ही अच्छी नसीहत करता है तुमको, बेशक अल्लाह सुनने वाला, देखने वाला है।
Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate.
Yaqeenan hum ney tumhari taraf haq kay sath apni kitab nazil farmaee hai takay tum logon mein iss cheez kay mutabiq faisla kero jiss say Allah ney tum ko shanasa kiya hai aur khayanat kerney walon kay himayati na bano.
बेशक हमने यह किताब आपकी तरफ़ हक़ के साथ उतारी; ताकि आप लोगों के दरमियान उसके मुताबिक़ फ़ैसला करें जो अल्लाह ने आपको दिखाया है, और आप ख़यानत करने वालों की तरफ़ से झगड़ने वाले न बनें।
They conceal [their evil intentions and deeds] from the people, but they cannot conceal [them] from Allah , and He is with them [in His knowledge] when they spend the night in such as He does not accept of speech. And ever is Allah , of what they do, encompassing.
Woh logon say to chup jatay hain ( lekin ) Allah Taalaa say nahi chup saktay woh raaton kay waqt jabkay Allah ki na pasndeedah baaton kay khufia mashwaray kertay hain uss waqt bhi Allah unn kay pass hota hai unn kay tamam aemaal ko woh gheray huye hai.
वे इंसानों से तो शरमाते हैं और अल्लाह से नहीं शरमाते; हालाँकि वह उनके साथ होता है जबकि वे सरगोशियाँ करते हैं उस बात की जिससे अल्लाह राज़ी नहीं, और जो कुछ वे करते हैं अल्लाह उसका इहाता किए हुए है।
No good is there in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or that which is right or conciliation between people. And whoever does that seeking means to the approval of Allah - then We are going to give him a great reward.
Inn kay aksay khufia mashwaron mein koi khair nahi haan! Bhalaee uss kay mashwaray mein hai jo kheyraat kay ya nek baat ka ya logon mein sulah keraney ka hukum keray aur jo shaks sirf Allah Taalaa ki raza mandi hasil kerney kay iraday say yeh kaam keray ussay hum yaqeenan boht bara sawab den gay.
उनकी अकसर सरगोशियों में कोई भलाई नहीं है, भलाई वाली सरगोशी सिर्फ़ उसकी है जो सदक़ा करने को कहे या किसी नेक काम के लिए या लोगों में सुलह कराने के लिए कहे, और जो शख़्स अल्लाह की ख़ुशनूदी के लिए ऐसा करे तो हम उसको बड़ा अज्र अता करेंगे।
And [for] their taking of usury while they had been forbidden from it, and their consuming of the people's wealth unjustly. And we have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.
Aur sood jiss say mana kiye gaye thay ussay lenay kay baees aur logon ka maal na haq maar khaney kay baees aur inn mein jo kuffaar hain hum ney unn kay liye alam naak azab mohiyya ker rakha hai.
और इस वजह से कि वे सूद लेते थे; हालाँकि उससे उन्हें मना किया गया था, और इस वजह से कि वे लोगों का माल नाहक़ खाते थे, और हमने उनमें से काफ़िरों के लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है।
And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient.
Aap inn kay moamlaat mein khuda ki nazil kerda wahee kay mutabiq hi hukum kijiye inn ki khuwaishon ki tabeydaari na kijiye aur inn say hoshiyaar rahiye kay kahin yeh aap ko Allah kay utaray huye kissi hukum say idhar udhar na keren agar yeh log mun pher len to yaqeen keren kay Allah ka irada yehi hai kay enhen inn kay baaz gunahon ki saza dey hi daalay aur aksar log na farmaan hi hotay hain.
और उनके दरमियान उसके मुताबिक़ फ़ैसला कीजिए जो अल्लाह ने उतारा है और उनकी ख़्वाहिशों की पैरवी न कीजिए और उन लोगों से बचिए कि कहीं वे आपको फिस्ला न दें आपके ऊपर अल्लाह के उतारे हुए किसी हुक्म से, पस अगर वे फिर जाएं तो जान लीजिए कि अल्लाह उनको उनके बअज़ गुनाहों की सज़ा देना चाहता है, और यक़ीनन लोगों में से ज़्यादा इंसान नाफ़रमान हैं।
O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Aey rasool jo kuch bhi aap ki taraf aap kay rab ki janib say nazil kiya gaya hai phoncha dijiye. Agar aap ney aisa na kiya to aap ney Allah ki risalat ada nahi kiaur aap ko Allah Taalaa logon say bacha ley ga be-shak Allah Taalaa kafir logon ko hidayat nahi deta.
ऐ (प्यारे) नबी! जो कुछ आप पर आपके रब की तरफ़ से उतारा है उसको पहुँचा दीजिए, और अगर आपने ऐसा नहीं किया तो आपने अल्लाह के पैग़ाम को नहीं पहुँचाया, और अल्लाह आपको लोगों से बचाएगा, अल्लाह यक़ीनन मुनकिर लोगों को राह नहीं दिखाता।
You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.
Yaqeenan aap eman walon ka sab say ziyada dushman yahudiyon aur mushrikon ko payen gay aur eman walon say sab say ziyada dosti kay qareeb aap yaqeenan unhen payen gay jo apney aap ko nasaara kehtay hain yeh iss liye kay inn mein ulama aur ibadat kay liye gosha nasheen afraad paye jatay hain aur iss waja say kay woh takabbur nahi kertay.
ईमान वालों के साथ दुश्मनी में आप सबसे बढ़कर यहूद और मुशरिकीन को पाओगे, और ईमान वालों के साथ दोस्ती में आप सबसे ज़्यादा उन लोगों को पाओगे जो अपने आपको नसारा कहते हैं, यह इसलिए कि उनमें आलिम और राहिब हैं और इसलिए कि वे तकब्बुर नहीं करते।
And is one who was dead and We gave him life and made for him light by which to walk among the people like one who is in darkness, never to emerge therefrom? Thus it has been made pleasing to the disbelievers that which they were doing.
Aisa shaks jo pehlay murda tha phir hum ney uss ko zinda ker diya aur hum ney uss ko aik aisa noor dey diya kay woh iss ko liye huye aadmiyon mein chalta phirta hai. Kiya aisa shaks uss shaks ki tarah ho sakta hai? Jo tareekiyon say nikal hi nahi pata. Issi tarah kafiron ko unn kay aemaal khushnuma maloom hua kertay hain.
क्या वह शख़्स जो मुर्दा था फिर हमने उसको ज़िंदगी दी और हमने उसको एक रौशनी दी कि उसके साथ वह लोगों में चलता है वह उस शख़्स की तरह हो सकता है जो तारीकियों में पड़ा है जिनसे वह निकलने वाला नहीं, इस तरह काफ़िरों की नज़र में उनके करतूत ख़ुशनुमा बना दिए गए हैं।
He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic.
( musa alh-e-salam ) ney farmaya kay tum hi dalo pur jab unhon ney dala to logon ki nazar bandi ker di aur unn per haibat ghalib ker di aur aik tarah ka bara jadoo dikhlaya.
मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहाः तुम ही डालो, फिर जब उन्होंने डाला तो उन्होंने लोगों की आँखों पर जादू कर दिया और उन पर दहशत तारी कर दी और बहुत बड़ा जादू दिखाया।
[ Allah ] said, "O Moses, I have chosen you over the people with My messages and My words [to you]. So take what I have given you and be among the grateful."
Irshad hua kay aey musa! Mein ney payghubari aur apni hum kalaami say aur logon per tum ko imtiaz diya hai to jo kuch tum ko mein ney ata kiya hai uss ko lo aur shukar kero.
अल्लाह ने कहाः ऐ मूसा! मैंने तुमको लोगों पर अपनी पैग़म्बरी और अपने कलाम के ज़रिए मुन्तख़ब किया, पस अब थाम लो जो कुछ मैंने तुमको अता किया है और शुक्रगुज़ारों में से बनो।
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah , but most of the people do not know."
Yeh log aap say qayamat kay mutalliq sawal kertay hain kay iss ka waqoo kabb hoga? Aap farma dijiye kay iss ka ilm sirf meray rab hi kay pass hai uss kay waqt per uss ko siwa Allah kay koi aur zahir na keray ga. Woh aasmanon aur zamin mein bara bhari ( haadsa ) hoga woh tum per mehaz achanak aa paray gi. Woh aap say iss tarah poochtay hain jaisay goya aap iss ki tehqiqaat ker chukay hain. Aap farma dijiye kay iss ka ilm khaas Allah hi kay pass hai lekin aksar log nahi jantay.
वे आपसे क़यामत के बारे में पूछते हैं कि वे कब वाक़े होगी, आप कह दीजिए कि उसका इल्म तो मेरे रब ही के पास है, वही उसके वक़्त पर उसको ज़ाहिर करेगा, वह भारी हो रही है आसमानों और ज़मीन में, वह जब तुम पर आएगी तो अचानक आ जाएगी, वे आपसे (इस तरह) पूछते हैं गोया आप उसकी तहक़ीक़ कर चुके हों, कह दीजिए उसका इल्म तो बस अल्लाह ही के पास है लेकिन अकसर लोग नहीं जानते।
And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And Allah is encompassing of what they do.
Unn logon jaisay na bano jo itratay huye aur logon mein khud numaee kertay huye apney gharon say chalay aur Allah ki raah say roktay thay jo kuch woh ker rahey hain Allah ussay gher lenay wala hai.
और उन लोगों की तरह मत बनो जो अपने घरों से अकड़ते हुए और लोगों को दिखाते हुए निकले और अल्लाह की राह से रोकते हैं; हालाँकि वे जो कुछ कर रहे हैं अल्लाह उनका इहाता किए हुए है।
And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed I fear Allah . And Allah is severe in penalty."
Jabkay unn kay aemaal ko shetan zeenat daar dikha raha tha aur keh raha tha kay logon mein say koi bhi aaj tum per ghalib nahi aa sakta mein khud bhi tumhara himayati hun lekin jab donon jamaten namoo daar huen to apni aeriyon kay ball peechay hatt gaya aur kehnay laga mein tum say bari hun. Mein woh dekh raha hun jo tum nahi dekh rahey. Mein Allah say darta hun aur Allah Taalaa sakhta azab wala hai.
और जब शैतान ने उन्हें उनके आमाल ख़ुशनुमा बनाकर दिखाए और कहा कि आज लोगों में से कोई तुम पर ग़ालिब आने वाला नहीं और मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ, मगर जब दोनों गिरोह आमने-सामने हुए तो वह उलटे पाँव भागा और कहा कि मैं तुम से बरी हूँ, मैं वह सब देख रहा हूँ जो तुम लोग नहीं देखते, मैं अल्लाह से डरता हूँ, और अल्लाह सख़्त अज़ाब देने वाला है।
And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allah . And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.
Allah aur uss kay rasool ki taraf say logon ko baray hajj kay din saaf itlaa hai kay Allah mushrikon say beyzaar hai aur uss ka rasool bhi agar abb bhi tum tauba kerlo to tumharay haq mein behtar hai aur agar tum roo gardaani kero to jaan lo kay tum Allah ko hara nahi saktay. Aur kafiron ko dukh ki maar ki khabar phoncha dijiye.
और ऐलान है अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की तरफ़ से बड़े हज के दिन लोगों के लिए कि अल्लाह और उसका रसूल मुशरिकों से बरी है, अब अगर तुम लोग तौबा करो तो यह तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है, और अगर तुम मुँह फेरोगे तो जान लो कि तुम अल्लाह को आजिज़ करने वाले नहीं हो, और इनकार करने वालों को सख़्त अज़ाब की ख़ुश-ख़बरी दे दो।
O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
Aey eman walo! Aksar ulama aur abid logon ka maal na haq kha jatay hain aur Allah ki raah say rok detay hain aur jo log soney chandi ka khazana rakhtay hain aur Allah ki raah mein kharach nahi kertay unhen dard naak azab ki khabar phoncha dijiye.
ऐ ईमान वालो! बेशक अहले-किताब के अकसर उलमा और मशाइख़ लोगों के माल बातिल तरीक़ों से खाते हैं और लोगों को अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोकते हैं, और जो लोग सोना और चाँदी जमा करके रखते हैं और उनको अल्लाह की राह में ख़र्च नहीं करते उनको एक दर्दनाक अज़ाब की ख़ुश-ख़बरी दे दीजिए।
And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of them are not grateful."
Aur jo log Allah per jhoot iftrra bandhtay hain unn ka qayamat ki nisbat kiya gumaan hai? Waqaee logon per Allah Taalaa ka bara hi fazal hai lekin aksar aadmi shukar nahi kertay.
और क़यामत के दिन के बारे में उन लोगों का क्या ख़्याल है जो अल्लाह पर झूठ लगा रहे हैं, बेशक अल्लाह लोगों पर बड़ा फ़ज़्ल फ़रमाने वाला है मगर अकसर लोग शुक्र अदा नहीं करते।
So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless
So aaj hum sirf teri laash ko nijat den gay takay tu unn kay liye nishan-e-ibrat ho jo teray baad hain aur haqeeqat yeh hai kay boht say aadmi humari nishaniyon say ghafil hain.
पस आज हम तेरी लाश को बचाएंगे ताकि तू अपने बाद वालों के लिए निशानी बने, और बेशक बहुत-से लोग हमारी निशानियों से ग़ाफ़िल रहते हैं।
So is one who [stands] upon a clear evidence from his Lord [like the aforementioned]? And a witness from Him follows it, and before it was the Scripture of Moses to lead and as mercy. Those [believers in the former revelations] believe in the Qur'an. But whoever disbelieves in it from the [various] factions - the Fire is his promised destination. So be not in doubt about it. Indeed, it is the truth from your Lord, but most of the people do not believe.
Kiya woh shaks jo apney rab kay pass ki daleel per ho aur uss kay sath Allah ki taraf gawah ho aur iss say pehlay musa ki kitab ( gawah ho ) jo paishwa aur rehmat hai ( auron kay barabar ho sakta hai? ) . yehi log hain jo iss per eman rakhtay hain aur tamam firqon mein say jo bhi iss ka munkir ho uss kay aakhri waday ki jagah jahannum hai pus tu iss mein kissi qisam kay shubay mein na reh yaqeenan yeh teray rab ki janib say sirasir bar haq hai lekin aksat log eman laney walay nahi hotay.
भला एक शख़्स जो अपने रब की तरफ़ से एक दलील पर है उसके बाद अल्लाह की तरफ़ से उसके लिए एक गवाह भी आ गया, और उससे पहले मूसा (अलै॰) की किताब रहनुमा और रहमत की हैसियत से मौजूद थी, ऐसे ही लोग उस पर ईमान लाते हैं, और जमातों में से जो कोई उसका इनकार करे तो उसके वादे की जगह आग है, पस आप उसके बारे में शक में ना पड़ें, यह हक़ है आपके रब की तरफ़ से मगर अकसर लोग नहीं मानते।
And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know.
Misir walon mein say jiss ney ussay khareeda tha uss ney apni biwi say kaha issay boht izzat-o-ehtram kay sath rakho boht mumkin hai kay yeh humen faeeda phonchaye ya issay hum apna beta hi bana len yun to hum ney misir ki sir zamin yousuf ka qadam jama diya kay hum ussay khuwab ki tabeer ka kuch ilm sikha den. Allah apney iraday per ghalib hai lekin aksar log bey ilm hotay hain.
और अहले-मिस्र में से जिस शख़्स ने उसको ख़रीदा उसने अपनी बीवी से कहा कि उसको अच्छी तरह रखो, उम्मीद है कि वह हमारे लिए मुफ़ीद हो या हम उसको बेटा बना लें, और इस तरह हमने यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) को उस मुल्क में जगह दी और ताकि हम उसको बातों की तावील सिखाएं, और अल्लाह अपने काम पर ग़ालिब रहता है लेकिन अकसर लोग नहीं जानते।
And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it was not for us to associate anything with Allah . That is from the favor of Allah upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful.
Mein apney baap dadon kay deen ka paband hun yani ibrahim-o-ishaq aur yaqoob kay deen ka humen hergiz yeh saza waar nahi kay hum Allah Taalaa kay sath kissi ko bhi shareek keren hum per aur tamam aur logon per Allah Taalaa ka yeh khas fazal hai lekin aksar log na shukri kertay hain.
और मैंने अपने बुज़ुर्गों इब्राहीम और इसहाक़ और याक़ूब (अलैहिमुस्सलाम) के मज़हब की पैरवी की, हमको यह हक़ नहीं कि हम किसी चीज़ को अल्लाह का शरीक ठहराएं, यह अल्लाह का फ़ज़्ल है हमारे ऊपर और सब लोगों के ऊपर मगर अकसर लोग शुक्र नहीं करते।
And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it was not for us to associate anything with Allah . That is from the favor of Allah upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful.
Mein apney baap dadon kay deen ka paband hun yani ibrahim-o-ishaq aur yaqoob kay deen ka humen hergiz yeh saza waar nahi kay hum Allah Taalaa kay sath kissi ko bhi shareek keren hum per aur tamam aur logon per Allah Taalaa ka yeh khas fazal hai lekin aksar log na shukri kertay hain.
और मैंने अपने बुज़ुर्गों इब्राहीम और इसहाक़ और याक़ूब (अलैहिमुस्सलाम) के मज़हब की पैरवी की, हमको यह हक़ नहीं कि हम किसी चीज़ को अल्लाह का शरीक ठहराएं, यह अल्लाह का फ़ज़्ल है हमारे ऊपर और सब लोगों के ऊपर मगर अकसर लोग शुक्र नहीं करते।
You worship not besides Him except [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. Legislation is not but for Allah . He has commanded that you worship not except Him. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.
Uss kay siwa tum jin ko pooja paat ker rahey ho woh sab naam hi naam hain jo tum ney aur tumharay baap dadon ney khud hi gharr liye hain. Allah Taalaa ney inn ki koi daleel nazil nahi farmaee farman-rawaee sirf Allah Taalaa hi ki hai uss ka famaan hai kay rum sab siwaye uss kay kissi aur ki ibadat na kero yehi deen durust hai lekin aksar log nahi jantay.
तुम उसके सिवा नहीं पूजते मगर कुछ नामों को जो तुमने और तुम्हारे बाप-दादा ने रख लिए हैं, अल्लाह ने उसकी कोई सनद नहीं उतारी, इक़तिदार सिर्फ़ अल्लाह ही के लिए है, उसने हुक्म दिया है कि उसके सिवा किसी की इबादत न करो, यही सीधा दीन है मगर बहुत-से लोग नहीं जानते।
[He said], "Joseph, O man of truth, explain to us about seven fat cows eaten by seven [that were] lean, and seven green spikes [of grain] and others [that were] dry - that I may return to the people; perhaps they will know [about you]."
Aey yousuf! Aey boht baray sachay yousuf! Aap humen iss khuwab ki tabeer batlaiye kay saat moti taza gayen hain jinhen saat dubli patli gayen kha rahi hain aur saat bilkul sabz khoshay hain aur saat hi doosray bhi bilkul khushk hain takay mein wapis jaa ker unn logon say kahon kay woh sab jaan len.
ऐ सच्चे यूसुफ़! मुझे इस ख़्वाब का मतलब बताइए कि सात मोटी गायें हैं जिनको सात दुबली गायें खा रही हैं, और सात बालियाँ हरी हैं और दूसरी सात सूखी; ताकि मैं उन लोगों के पास जाऊँ ताकि वे जान लें।
And when they entered from where their father had ordered them, it did not avail them against Allah at all except [it was] a need within the soul of Jacob, which he satisfied. And indeed, he was a possessor of knowledge because of what We had taught him, but most of the people do not know.
Jab woh unhi raaston say jin ka hukum unn kay walid ney unhen diya tha gaye kuch na tha kay Allah ney jo baat muqarrar ker di hai woh iss say unhen zara bhi bacha ley. Magar yaqoob ( alh-e-salam ) kay dil mein aik khayal ( peda hua ) jissay uss ney poora ker liya bila shuba woh humaray sikhlaye huye ilm ka aalim tha lekin aksar log nahi jantay.
और जब वे दाख़िल हुए जहाँ से उनके वालिद ने उनको हिदायत की थी, वह उनको बचा नहीं सकता था अल्लाह की किसी बात से, वह बस याक़ूब (अलै॰) के दिल में एक ख़्याल था जो उसने पूरा किया, बेशक वह हमारी दी हुई तालीम की वजह से साहिबे-इल्म था मगर अकसर लोग नहीं जानते।
And most of the people, although you strive [for it], are not believers.
Go aap laakh chahayen lekin aksar log eman daar na hongay.
और आप ख़्वाह कितना ही चाहो लेकिन अकसर लोग ईमान लाने वाले नहीं हैं।
Alif, Lam, Meem, Ra. These are the verses of the Book; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not believe.
Alif –laam-meem-raa yeh quran ki aayaten hain aur jo kuch aap ki taraf aap kay rab ki janib say utara jata hai sab haq hai lekin aksar log eman nahi latay.
अलिफ़-लाम-मीम-रा, ये किताबे-इलाही की आयतें हैं, और जो कुछ आपके ऊपर आपके रब की तरफ़ उतरा है वह हक़ है मगर अकसर लोग नहीं मानते।
